From the moment we arrived until our departure, every single aspect of our visit was simply exceptional. First, I must highlight the absolutely exceptional service at the restaurant. Madam Chaima, who works at the restaurant reception, was an absolute gem! Her warm, genuine smile and welcoming nature made us feel like honored guests from day one. She went above and beyond to ensure our dining experiences were perfect, and her attention to detail was truly remarkable. The restaurant staff (Amr, Jannet, Mohamed) as a whole deserves the highest praise. The servers were incredibly attentive and helpful, always anticipating our needs before we even had to ask. Their professionalism combined with their friendly demeanor created such a pleasant atmosphere for every meal. Our room service was absolutely impeccable – every request was handled promptly and with care. What really impressed us was returning to our room each day to find it immaculately cleaned and beautifully arranged. The housekeeping team clearly takes great pride in their work! Beyond the excellent service, the entire staff (Nihal, Husna) was wonderfully helpful with recommendations for our outings around Cairo. Also a very nice river walk in front of the hotel. We received a free upgrade to a very big suite. Personnel was marvelous. They were all so caring. I was hurt one night when I hit a sign on the street while walking, and the crew took very good care of me providing me with medical care and refreshments. Also the following day multiple crew members asked how I was doing. It’s a bit outdated.

- MikeBirdman (6/5): Good location in a quiet neighborhood. Modern not fancy hotel - The hotel is on the island surrounded by the Nile river but close to downtown. Is a modern high rise. My room on the second floor had a view across the river to the city center. Could be noisy from the partying boats at night if a light sleeper. The room needed updating. Was somewhat worn. The carpet was worn and same with the bathroom with a bath with a shower attachment. Otherwise the room was fine and everything worked. The Wi-Fi was ok - somewhat slow at times. Buffet breakfast was ok, had several dinners in the restaurant which were served pleasantly and fast. The food was under seasoned - all rather bland. However if willing to go out i walked for 10 minutes across to the other side of the island where a long row of restaurants right on the Nile with good food and very reasonable prices.

There is atm inside the hotel to exchange Egyptian pound. Breakfast was rich and delicious. There is also another cafe inside hotel campus. We feel safe inside the hotel, there are x ray and security personel outside and inside the hotel. Zamalek was a calm neighboorhood to discover local Cairo life. Furnitere could be newer. There are boats on the niver with noisy music at night. Hotel can not do anything about this.

- brandon52 (10/5): Extraordinary service and gorgeous views of the Nile - I don't typically write reviews but the service at Hilton Cairo Zamalek Residences was so outstanding that I just had to post. When we arrived, the hotel lobby was swamped with a plane full of stranded tourists who were looking for a place to stay overnight. I've never seen hotel staff work so hard and so efficiently to get so many people checked in. Plus, as soon as they saw we were Diamond members, we were escorted over to the general manager who apologized for the chaos and promptly upgraded us to one of their ambassador suites. A huge assortment of treats were waiting for us in the room. The suite itself was over 3,000 square feet and had an incredible wraparound balcony with view of the Nile. The exceptional service didn't stop there. The restaurant staff were outstanding and so friendly. As just one example, an assistant manager Mina would stop by every morning to make sure we were taken care of. He also had a quote of the day, which was very charming. I strongly recommend that this hotel for anyone looking for top-notch service in Cairo.

- TatNYC (6/5): It's fine for a couple of days - The hotel is on the posh island of Zamalek that is in the middle of the Nile. Mind you, I use the term "posh" very generously because Cairo's version of posh will never be like what you and I imagine as posh for London, Paris, Tokyo, NYC. That said, the hotel is located on embassy row. It's on the same street as the embassies of Sweden, Vatican City, Iraq, and a few more. There are armed police and army men standing guard 24hrs/day so I never had a second thought about my safety. The hotel is also behind metal gates and there are guards too. The staff is very friendly and helpful. The staff reached out to me via text on WhatsApp just to make sure everything was alright. I texted back my issue, and it was taken care of immediately. The manager even spoke to me after I returned to the hotel. I wanted to get lunch outside of the hotel. I wanted authentic Egyptian food. The front desk made a suggestion, and made reservations for me. It was an easy 10 minute walk. My room and bathroom was dated and worn looking. It really needed to be updated and brought up to 2026 standards. I did like that they had Malin and Goetz toiletries. Housekeeping was good. I didn't get slippers when I checked in, and walking on that stained, 20+years old carpet made me feel a little bit uncomfortable. I just decided tho block it out. If my room and bathroom were modern I would have given the hotel 4 out of 5 rating. I ordered room service twice. I ordered chicken fingers, and I think, french fries. It was fine nothing to talk about. The second time I ordered a vegetable pizza. It looked like pizza. It had all the ingredients of pizza, but it wasn't pizza. The dough wasn't right. Breakfast was included in my rate. There were lots of options for breakfast. Definitely get the fresh pressed strawberry juice in the morning. You're bound to find something to eat. It may not wow you, but the food is safe and above average. I also got a complimentary plate of Egyptian desserts brought up to my room (because of my previously mentioned issues). The pastries were out of this world. Kudos to the pastry chef. Tip: Google Maps for whatever reason works terribly in Cairo. Use Apple Maps. I used Google Maps to guide me to the Egyptian restaurant from the hotel. The stupid app had me walking to the other side of the island, go south and the cross back. Apple Maps just showed me the direct route which was a quick 10 minute walk.

- Peter Gergely (9/5): Very nice stay! - The hotel upgraded our room to a huge suite for free, with a fantastic full Nile view. This was a pleasent surprise. The location is the best in Cairo you are in the center, but not in the middle of the traffic. This is a silent area. The neighbourhood is safe and clean compare to other parts of Cairo. The staff is really kind and helpful and they aren't agressivly pushing for tip or nice review! There was a huge wide of variety of food. I saw diet jam and they have soy milk too.

As a gold member I valued the upgrade that was available for my family. The ambassador suite is stunning! We also enjoyed the tea time lounge where we had some wine and snacks, Mahmoudatia service was also perfect and made us feel very comfortable.

To begin we felt very safe with the gated entrance and guards. From the lobby to our room in the 22nd floor, the place was pristine clean giving a palace feel. Our room had spectacular views of the Nile river. They were so great we opted to enjoy our balcony view of the Nile instead of taking a Nile cruise. All of the staff were amazingly attentive and very accommodating. Dining experience was excellent. Special shoutout to Abanoud for the five star service as well. We were never disturbed by any loud noises. From all of the different areas that we visited we made the best decision staying here, especially for the price, and we look forward to returning in the future for a much longer stay.

The food was excellent in both quality and portion size, and the staff were extremely friendly and helpful—especially Mr. Abanoub and Mr. Hassan. In addition, the stunning Nile view and the beautifully arranged, generous decoration made the evening even more special. During breakfast, Mina, Hassan, and Yousef welcomed us warmly and were very helpful. Mina even shared a “wisdom of the day” that gave us a positive start to the morning. Overall, the staff are extremely kind, friendly, and genuinely welcoming.
