• Haile (9/5): Small, clean, centrally located hotel with friendly staff - The location is excellent. The staff were very friendly. Breakfast was tasty, wholesome and at the roof top with a great view of the Blue Dome. The room is small with tiny beds that easily separated when slept upon. The room was "smoke free" but there was always heavy dose of second hand smoke in and around the room (not a pleasant feeling at all). The contract driver from and to the airport took us to another hotel (SABA SULTAN) and got mad at us. Make sure you insist u want Saba hotel.

• K2364IRpaulj (6/5): It’s all about the location - It’s low priced and therefore the offer is pretty basic but seeing as didn’t come to Istanbul to sit in a hotel that didn’t really bother us. The main issue we had was noise. It may be we were unlucky but we were in room 305 and we could hear everything from the room next door, the room above and from the halls so we didn’t have a single good nights sleep in the 4 nights we were here. Having said that if you’re armed with earplugs and are a deep sleeper then this hotel is just moments from the Blue Mosque and all the major sites in this part of town. Don’t think you could ask for a better location if you’re in town to explore the historic centre.

• K9546JOjaneb (6/5): Left distress - The hotel’s location is spot on — it’s within walking distance of the main attractions in Sultanahmet, and the tram line that takes you almost everywhere in Istanbul is just a 5-minute walk away. Breakfast was okay, though the selection was limited and the same every day. The hotel itself was clean and comfortable throughout our stay. The staff were generally polite and friendly, except on our last day. We had booked an airport transfer through the reception two nights before our flight, requesting a 2:30 pm pickup for our 5 pm departure. However, when the time came, the driver never showed up. The hotel staff kept assuring us that he was stuck in traffic and would arrive in 20 minutes, but by 3 pm there was still no sign of him. We started to panic and kept asking for updates — they continued to say “10 more minutes.” By 3:10 pm, we decided to arrange our own transport, knowing it might be expensive. Unfortunately, we ended up having to take two taxis, which cost a total of €170 for the eight of us. What disappointed us most was that the hotel staff didn’t apologize, even though it was their booking and their responsibility to ensure a reliable transfer. A word of advice to future guests: don’t book your airport transfer through the hotel — arrange it yourself in advance. Also, a small inconvenience — when my friends asked for two key cards per room, the staff refused, saying they didn’t have enough. Overall, we were disappointed by how our stay ended.

Você estará ao lado da Mesquita Azul e se gosta de caminhar poderá ir ao Gran bazar, Mercado das Especiarias e todas atrações importantes a pé. O café da manhã é tipicamente turco. Mas, muito gostoso e tem opções variadas. A limpeza do quarto muito bem feita. Os funcionários muito receptivos e educados. Gostamos de tudo e recomendo! Não tenho nada a reclamar.

Close by is the tram line & a huge selection of cafes and restaurants. 2 supermarkets are within a 10 minute walking distance for snacks (etc). Nice balcony setting for breakfast. Early morning prayer chants are loud from this location.

The staff is very helpful and polite, the room is big enough. It's an issue of personal preferences. For me, breakfast could be better. I mean, not everybody is awaken enough to eat aubergines and stewed vegetables in the morning. Very bad coffee was a surprise in Turkey. The last but not the least - you have not any space in the room to place your staff. There is only one wardrobe without shelfs and that's all. It's not very convenient. You should keep the things in your suitcase. More over, there is no night lamp stand in the balcony and you should go to another part of the room to switch off the light.

Cleaning was great and reception staff was cordial and helpful. I think breakfast should be somehow improved. It was so poor as quality and varaity. Evenmore, it happened often to find empty trays. The person in the restaurant does not speak a word of english and sounds not so friendly.

• Nicole (10/5): Lovely stay at Hotel Saba - The location is so convenient, it's close to the Blue Mosque, Haga Sophia and Basilica Cistern. It's also close to the tram, which I often used to explore Istanbul. The room was neat and clean, and big enough for two people. I loved having breakfast on the terrace every morning as the food was delicious and I could look out at the Blue Mosque from the rooftop! The staff was kind and helpful, too. Nothing not to like.

Early morning front desk person charged us 10 euros for a friend who needed to stay a couple hours with us because her hotel did not let her check in at the time we arrived.

• Albert (9/5): Excellent location, great value hotel - The hotel is perfectly located right around the corner from the major sights in Sultanahmet. Breakfast was a nice buffet with everything you need with a great view from the rooftop. The rooms were fine, nothing really noteworthy. Staff was helpful for anything I needed. The overall value was super since it was well located and really had everything you'd need for a stay. The street in front is a bit noisy at night, not really the hotel's fault. Just something to be aware of. I travel with earplugs, so that fixed that. Across from my room there was a BLAZING street light that the curtains couldn't block out. If sleeping in the pitch black is your thing, that room won't cut it.

I didn't have a single complaint; everything was perfect, from the hygiene to the comfortable beds. The staff were very friendly and respectful. The bathroom was very clean and always had hot water for the shower. The breakfast was delicious and offered many options. The breakfast area is located on the top floor, which has an amazing view. My room didn't have much of a view, but I don't know about other rooms.

Good for a 3 star hotel. They also have elevator in the hotel which is helpful for older people. Hotel is not sound proof. You can hear the noises of people entering and exiting rooms but no sounds from the outside. Breakfast could be better.

Everything is very clean and the terrace view is simply perfect. We were very surprised with how everything was so perfect.
