- Lisa (10/5): -
- maddie (8/5): good stay recommend - clean room and amazing facilities everything was great, paid 200$ for parking as it was not clearly communicated that they provided parking
- John (6/5): Great location near courts. Clean. But wanting to heat up my dinner was disappointing The exaction was quite stressful - Property was clean. Staff friendly Being woken up at 6 am for a fire evacuation was not very nice. I understand a person pushed the button in the gym but whilst people were evacuating the premises there were no staff to help people. Once getting to the door at the end of the stairs. People did not understand how to open the food. A poster on the door would helped saying the green button on the wall.
Also the microwave in our room did not work. Room 715
- Caroline (10/5): -
- PhiliaZ (9/5): Very comfortable and well located at a very reasonable price. - The location was very central, the rooms were clean and compfortable and staff were lovely. The price was also very reasonable. I cant fault it and will definitely be back without a doubt.
- Frances (8/5): Great location and friendly staff, for a short stay - Great location. I was in town for 1 night for a dinner and caught the train from the airport. Hotel was a short walk from St James station. So easy!
Bed was comfortable and staff were very welcoming. Bathroom could have been cleaner and toilet was dripping water continuously (which I reported the next morning).
- Tracey (6/5): Was ok. - Central to where I needed to be Bathroom was extremely poor.
- Liam (9/5): -
- Emily (10/5): -
- Jay (7/5): -
- Ian (9/5): - Cleanliness and location The large spider in our room.
- Mark (10/5): -
- Leilani (7/5): - The Sebel Hotel is in a good location in the Martin Place area of Sydney CBD. I didn't find the bed or pillows particularly comfortable. I could also hear buses outside from the room, which I hadn't expected. I also felt frustrated that I hqd not long only managed to have a nap after I checked in only to be woken up by a staff member who was knocking on the door to the room for a long time. Seems she decided she should urgently check the mini bar, which was odd. The shower area looks dirty, but I think it is clean and the marks go into the grout.
- Bernadette (7/5): -
- Morris (9/5): -
- Laura (6/5): Ask for an inside room and be aware beds and rooms are not large. - Location. Small bed, cramped room, extremely noisy.
- Charles (9/5): Good. - Well located, good room, pleasant stsff. Pleased to use washer and dryer. Although quite clean, some finishing off and cleaning up needed in bathroom.
- Lolinga (9/5): Amazing ! - Aesthetic Nothing
- isobel (8/5): -
- Jenelle (8/5): - Great shower great bed
- nguyen van (9/5): -
- Jennifer (8/5): Very convenient, quiet and within the hotel I felt very safe. - The convenience! So close to Botanical Gardens and short walk to main shopping area. The section of Phillips lane the hotel is in is a little dark and a few odd fellows seem to hang around there.
- TRACEY (6/5): - The location of the hotel was great. The room was clean and relatively quiet. The pillows are very uncomfortable, and the mattress was not much better. Lack of room service on a Sunday should have been advised, as I would never have booked this hotel. The parking next door and access to the hotel and the lift was very confusing. Was breakfast even available?
- Anna (8/5): -
- Aamir (7/5): -
- paula (9/5): Clean, quiet, nicely appointed hotel. - comfortable room with all the amenities. Quiet as well. Shower was the best one of our trip. A shower door that actually closes so water doesn't invade the rest of the bathroom. Hooray! We had a window to nowhere. room was a bit dark in general.
- Ivy (10/5): Relaxing and comfortable. - Bed was comfortable, room was spacious and extremely quiet. ?
- Stirling (10/5): - Quick access to local attractions.
- Peter (7/5): Over priced for the experience - The location was good Room small , windows didn’t open , lots of homeless people
- Fisher (10/5): -
- Julie (6/5): The Sebel don’t tell us that when we booked the stay Monday 27th there was no food to buy or room se - Nice bed needs a blanket in the room because the dooms was too thick for this time of year
- Andrew (10/5): Would definately stay here again - Staff were friendly, the rooms were thoughtful to the needs of travellers. Raised Usb ports etc , black out curtains. Very happy to stay here again
- Linda (7/5): -
- Renae (10/5): -
- Kate (8/5): Would definitely stay again - So central for Anzac Day celebrations and transport Bed was a little hard
- Emma (3/5): It’s more then tired - The location is great Everything else. The “room service” menu is a joke. The bathroom was moldy. The staff couldn’t give a crap
- Marc (10/5): Uitstekend en prima locatie. - Het volledig concept en zeker het prima ontbijt. Niets
- Nicola (8/5): Great location, great rooms and lovely staff - Good location and room was very spacious No ramp access, only stairs. Made it difficult to access with prams and suitcases
- Kate (9/5): Excellent location and comfortable, spacious rooms. - Excellent location. Rooms nice a spacious and the beds are comfy. N/a
- Justine (9/5): -
- Sharyn (7/5): - Great location staff helpful Bathroom was old with broken tiles
- Guest (8/5): -
- Issy (8/5): Good - Good Nothing
- Sarah (10/5): Great place to stay for work. Close to the office and can get here from the an airport via the train. - Proximity to work and great food places around. Nothing.
- Peggy (7/5): Great location. Okay stay. - Close to train to airport, to CBD and to the waterfront close to many local transit stops. Laundry was expensive - why isn’t it free for guests? WiFi key turning off. Very expensive for what was offered.
- Darcy (10/5): -
- Rae (7/5): Generally, very pleasant and practical (for me). Would certainly come back again. - Excellent location - helpful team most of the time I asked 2 team members (not at the desk) who were on the floor if there's a gym and both answered "I don't know."
Also - I did ask for room service - one day of my four-day stay and when I returned to my room it was obvious that apart from the bed having been made, there was no other service i.e. the teas were not replenished. Not a big deal but I did have to ask Reception later for more of the teas that I had used.
- Dez (5/5): - Close to circular key and shopping centre Was told on arrival that breakfast was available until 12pm but arrived to find it was closed at 11am.
Mattress protector was in very poor condition and heavily stained, didn't appear to have been washed for some time.
- Mark (8/5): Overall it was pretty good. Would definitely stay there again. - The location was perfect for what we were doing in the city. The pillows were rock hard
- Basketball (10/5): -
- ANDRE (7/5): - Emplacement Rien

- Celia (9/5): -
- Tony (10/5): - Great location
- olivia (10/5): -
- Francis (9/5): -
- Heather (9/5): - Great location, friendly staff!
- Melanie (1/5): - The property is nice enough however the bathroom is not the cleanest with noticeable black mould in the corners of the shower. They charged my credit card despite not purchasing anything from the minibar.
- Judith (9/5): Most enjoyable, comfortable and really good. An excellent experience. Thank you. - Professional throughout. Staff very friendly and helpful and so helpful. We requested an accessible room which met all our needs. Thank you. Guest teacups in room perhaps should be checked. One had a serious crack which looked ‘old’, and unfortunately both did not look overly clean with minor staining, but that might just be the glaze finish of the crockery.
- Jessica (7/5): -
- Amanda (8/5): -
- Tom (7/5): -
- Libby (6/5): -
- glenda (3/5): - Stupidly expensive price for the very limited offerings. Floor stained.
- Hayley (7/5): -
- Mary (10/5): -
- Ali (8/5): Overall good, location, staff, quiet, easy lifts, excellent air con - Location was a perfect fit for our plans.
Pleasant staff, quiet hotel, easy to use and quick lifts, excellent air con Bathrooms were a little rough around the edges albeit clean. Mugs and cutlery was very hard to find but enjoyed the free Nespresso in the room!
- Lisa (9/5): -
- Megan (7/5): - Location was perfect, so close to everything in the city.
The staff were so friendly in reception on my arrival and departure.
The extra facilities in the room such as microwave and utensils were a great addition. The room was quite small. The bathroom was a little tired and knocked about for the price I paid.
- Peter (9/5): A lovely stay - Clean, quiet, comfortable and ideally located to explore Sydney from. All the staff we encountered were friendly and helpful.
- Veronica (8/5): -
- Barry (7/5): Good room, nice location. Breakfast a debacle. - Location Breakfast included in the rate served at the cafe next door.
Took 1hr to receive on day 1. We have better things to do than wait so long.
On day 2 was told full breakfast was not included (even though we were served on day one).
Hotel reception staff just shrugged and said ‘it should be’.
No good enough at your room rates.

- kathryn (1/5): Went from bad to worst. - The location of the hotel was good.
Booking.com website was an issue with repeated inputs of the correct date only to be booked on a different date. when I corrected the date I was charged an extra $200 a night. I rang booking.com and the customer service person did not assist at all. Don't use Booking.com. No customer service!!! The triple sheet bedding system was extremely uncomfortable. I spent much of the night awake, tangled in all the sheets, unable to regulate my body temperature with tucked in sheeting. No-one wants to sleep in a tucked in bed, No-one? I requested a proper Doona and was advised none was available. Please change your bedding back to a proper Doona. The interconnecting door in my room meant I was kept awake by noisy neighbours for the entire night. I paid a premium for the hotel room a massive $518 a night for an unclean, unfit for purpose room.
- Moggridge (8/5): - The customer service was amazing, and the room was lovely. The location is great, to get around the city. The room was a little small, more teabags would be great.
- Michelle (10/5): -
- Niall (8/5): -
- Linda (9/5): -
- Kate (10/5): - Great location , comfortable and good value
- Chris (8/5): useful kitchen, friendly staff, good location - great little kitchen, good bed, handy location steps to lobby
- SHEILA (5/5): Was OK for Short stays - The location was a little far for us but the Martin Place Station is close by which is good. Lovely friendly and helpful Staff. Only step access to the front of the hotel. The room was much smaller than expected for a Superior King Room but was clean and tidy. The bed was comfortable could do with more pillows perhaps 2 bottles of free water and more information on In Room services and the hotel itself.
- Simon (5/5): - Location It was extremely over priced.
Had to ask them to clean the room every day
Small room. No fresh air
- Sally (10/5): Easy check in/out to a very comfortable room close to where we wanted to be. - Location was perfect for a show at the State Theartre! Room was spacious and the bed was very comfortable. The vanity basin was not draining properly so i removed the plug so cleaners could see if was full of hair. the plug was just put back in place without cleaning. Otherwise everything was great!
- Christopher (3/5): Ok but not worth the price - Close to work. Very unclean. I noticed stains on the bed linen and floor.
- amanda (10/5): 2 nights where we could do a great "Staycation" - Location was the reason we booked at Martin Place
Small ,
Bed good, king size No views
- Bianca (8/5): Good stay - Good reception staff, great location Nothing
