• Ryan (6/5): - Staff was great, room was ok. There is a sketchy balcony connecting all the rooms, so we didn't feel comfortable leaving our windows open, which was bad because the bathroom had a strong odor and no vent fan.
• Stuart (8/5): - The hotel is small with no real dining facilities.Plenty of places to eat nearby. The rooms were quite small but perfectly clean and comfortable. Bathroom facilities were perfectly adequate. The hotel personnel were friendly and helpful. The hotel is on a busy road and was very noisy into the early hours. The area was a little bit scruffy and seedy, which my daughter found uncomfortable.

• Sara (8/5): - We stayed here for one night during Oktoberfest. The room was clean and comfortable. There was a lot of construction around the area, but that seems to be fairly typical of the larger cities. There was quite a bit of street noise and the curtains did not block much light which made it a bit difficult to get a restful night’s sleep, but the location was perfect for our needs and the staff members were very helpful. We would stay here again.

• Russ (4/5): Very noisy room. - Whilst hotel was close to the main station, it was in a very noisy and busy street which felt unsafe. The noise was unbearable and went on until 3-30 am and then the street cleaners started. Reception was friendly and suggested a new room, which I should have taken, wrongly relying on my newly purchased ear plugs. 2 nights no sleep. Overall the hotel was clean and well presented, just avoid a street facing room.
• Leisha (10/5): Great stay - Great 4 night stay! Clean and comfortable! Perfect location to walk to the historic sites. Front desk staff were friendly and helpful. The barber next door gave my husband a fantastic haircut! We would stay again. Croissants and soft pretzels and coffee and water available in the lobby at breakfast time. We stayed with our dog and had a pleasant stay. We slept great!
• Paul (6/5): - Travelers need to carefully read room descriptions prior to booking. Many rooms have AC and some do not, they have a small electric fan that doesn't move enough air to cool the room in summer days where temps exceed 80 F. Maid service is light and being "Green" is the excuse. Staff is courteous and helpful. No room service available and many rooms have an undesirable city view. A good number of the Expedia photo's do not reflect the actual facility, they may be what is referred to as a "Sister" hotel near by. Hotel is close to the rail station and accessible by foot. Recommend daylight foot traffic to and from rail station. Read the facility descriptions care- fully. Beds were comfortable and room clean.

• Verified traveler (8/5): 둘 이상, 저렴한 가격이면 나쁘지 않은 선택 - 몇 년전 베드버그 리뷰를 봐서 걱정했는데 생각보다 방이 낡긴 했지만 나름 깨끗하게 관리되고 있었음. 물은 제공되지 않고, 위치는 여자 혼자 밤에 다니기에는 조금 무서움. (근처에 Lidl도 있고 낮에는 통행량이 많은 도로임). 6월 말 방문이어서 에어컨(온도조절은 안됨 18도 고정)이 있는 것은 큰 장점이었으나 학회 시즌이라 가성비는 좋지 않았음.
• Aurelian (6/5): - Located close to the Munich Hauptbahnhof, hence easy to access from the railway station. Otherwise overpriced for the limited services offered and a very noisy street (Schwanthallerstrasse).
• Linda (6/5): - I am torn about the review. On the one hand are the pluses - good breakfast for price, very nice staff, good English skills, attempt to please, convenient to inner city, reliable wifi. Then the minuses - old and looks it in the rooms, neighborhood is heavily ethnic, most women with scarves, gambling venues in the neighborhood, noisy until midnight, only clean rooms twice a week (will provide linens if needed in between), not all rooms with AC. It was warm when we arrived and we had to leave the windows open, and had noise and little respite from heat until midnight. You can make it clear at the time of reservation that AC is must for you. The neighborhood has a lot of construction going on, so will likely be better in future.

• Pedro David (6/5): Uncomfortable for the price - The hotel is old and the room very small. For 3 people was uncomfortable. The location is perfect for commuting everywhere but the street is not very nice nor quiet. Staff were nice.

• Jeannie (6/5): Basic, clean but not a great area - The hotel is fine. Clean, simple and basic. I didn't take the breakfast so can't rate it. It only gets three stars for the neighborhood. While close to the main tourist area, it's not an area I would be comfortable out late at night.

We also enjoyed the delicious breakfast each morning and loved the convenient location close to major attractions, and the train central station, and different restaurants. We will definitely recommend this hotel (The Prasident) with our family and friends.

• Vivian (4/5): - This hotel is very old and the value for the price we paid was not there. Room was old and hot. Small desk fan was all there was for air. If we opened the window it was open to other rooms along the balcony so could not leave it open at night while sleeping. Elevator was so small we could barely squeeze two of us in. We went separately in the elevator from the 6th floor. Not good value.
• Leonard (8/5): - The check in and hotel staff were great. The room was small even by EU standards and you can only fit 2 people with a bag in the elevator. The area designated for unloading on the street in front of the property is constantly blocked by parked cars that have nothing to do with the hotel. Parking is 19 euros and 50 meters down the street in an underground garage. We did not pay the extra for breakfast. Walking distance to Oktoberfest was excellent. Restaurants in the area were not enticing.
• Magdalena (8/5): - Hotel has a perfect location with walkable distance to many attractions and meeting points for excursions. It's a bit old fashioned but it is comfortable to stay and the staff is lovely.

The area by the station is rather dirty, but if you are looking for reasonable rooms with walking distance from the main station, thats what the neighbourhood is but the hotel itself and the rooms were very good and comfortable with great breakfast to start our days off

• Sinan (6/5): - The property is in a convenient location close to the centre and the train station. The staff is friendly and helpful. On the other hand facilities of the hotel needs an upgrade. The aircon in our room barely worked. It kept turning off on its own and we couldn’t adjust its level. The room has no central lamp so you rely on bedside lamps. The TV is very old so don’t expect to watch a movie or a match. The bathroom is clean but it would have been better if it had ventilation. The key they give you is bulky so you need to return it to the reception every time you leave the hotel and pick it up when you return.
• Christine (6/5): - Unfortunately we didn't realize this property had no air conditioning and it was a heat wave during our first 2 days. Did not feel safe leaving the window open since the fire escape was right outside. Also could see directly into other people's rooms. Location was convenient to main train HBF which was helpful unfortunately alot of construction going on. I don't think this property is for children as the red light district is just around the corner. However, there was coffee shop directly across the street and convenient store next door. I would not stay here again.

The plentiful food options around the hotel were not great quality, but not awful. Bed was ok… weird BIG square pillows, but ok. Good Shower ! I wish the broom had a personal safe. I WOULD definitely stay here again though.

We had a triple room, very small very hot even with heating turned off, there was a fan in the room I guess for that reason, no tea making facilities but you can ask for a kettle, no cups either so had to buy one. Hotel is central and great for markets etc. our room had a shower door that was broken, and when you shower the water comes up the drain in the floor of the bathroom, having said that I couldn’t fault the staff, very friendly and helpful, but please find another system with the door keys !!! Having to hand them In every time you go out is such a pain.
• Verified traveler (8/5): Pleasant stay - Nice staff and hotel. The bed was comfortable, although the floor needed vacuuming. The location was good to go to Oktoberfest and other tourist sites, although there are a number of homeless people in the area.

There was a convenience store next door and several cafes/ small restaurants around. The room we had was quiet although it got too warm at night. There was fan made available though and the window can be opened. The hotel is old but we felt safe and comfortable there. Will recommend.
• Gertrud (10/5): - The hotel is located very conveniently within walking distance to the train station. It is also easy to walk into the old part of town from there. The staff is super nice and helpful. Rooms are clean, the breakfast buffet is excellent. Note that it is not in the old part of town, there is traffic in the streets outside, but our room was very quiet. Very good value for money.
• Christopher (8/5): - First, there are a couple discrepancies in the description. There is a 12 Euro daily fee for parking. The garage is actually a block and a half away and is called HBF Sud. You get a ticket, park, and then the hotel checks it to get that daily fee. 2nd - there is not a free breakfast. That costs 9 euro. Other than that, the hotel is excellent for the location. Without a car, it is more ideal.

• Karl (10/5): Stay here! You won't regret it!! - A beautiful hotel with attentive, friendly staff. The hotel is very old and charming. Every room appears to have been decorated recently and each has their own unique style. Also, it doesn't appear to have any deferred maintenance. The hotel is completely non-smoking (thank God!) except for a small enclosed, garden-patio in the center of the hotel. There is a smart tablet (like an Ipad) in every room, to make your stay user-friendly and fun. Public transportation is literally right outside the front door. It is impeccably clean down to every detail and the little perks, like free, cold, soft drinks, free wifi, and underground parking across the street (€50/day), made us feel like welcomed, valued customers. All the staff were so friendly and kind, I only want to stay here for future visits to Munich. I just wish parking wasn't so expensive, but I guess that's what parking is like throughout Munich.

• Ramon (8/5): Un desayuno muy agradable - El hotel tiene una gran localización cerca del la estación central de tren. Es un poco antiguo, pero en perfectas condiciones. Habitación cómoda y lo que más disfruto de este hotel es el desayuno. Es la Segunda vez que fui. Estuve un par de días enfermo y me ayudaron mucho trayéndome lo necesario a la habitación. Volvería sin pensarlo.
• Coral (10/5): - Very small and compact hotel- not very modern, but well kept. There is one small lift, more for lugage than anything, which i did not mind since i do like to take the stairs. Very courteous and professional staff. Room was very clean and bigger than I expected. There's a full buffet breakfast every morning with anything you can think of. As far for location, its one block away from the central station and there's several places to eat in the same street.

• Russell (6/5): 4 Days in Munich - Breakfasts are fabulous! Our room faced the street and it was stuffy and noisy making sleeping a bit of a challenge. Location to activities good.

• brent (10/5): nice location and friendly staff. - this a great location during oktoberfest between oktoberfest and marienplatz. the street is pretty noisy. ambulances all nite. the breakfast is quite good with very good service from the staff. the room was warm and could not adjust the temp. nice front office staff. for some reason they drop the very dirty blinds over the windows every day. do not know why. very limited english tv in the room. nice bathroom with all modern equipment. free mini bar, tho they had nothing i wanted.
• brent (8/5): Great location. - Great location. About half way between marienplatz and oktoberfest. On a busy noisey street. Very close to the train station. Room comfortable but too warm. Television selection is poor if you speak english. No coffee/tea pot in the room. Breakfast us very good with great service.reception very good.

Hated the location, have to walk by strip and message clubs, so many ethnics standing around. Smoking every where, made us uneasy walking to and from the hotel. Too bad, as it is not a place I'd recommend or revisit.
• David (10/5): Great value - 5 mins walk from the main railway station 5 minutes from a large underground shopping centre, 10 mins walk to the old town. Comfortable rooms slept well and fabulous breakfast each morning.
• CY (6/5): - This place is close to the city center and old town, but not Prasident grade. In my view this is 2 star Motel level using American standard. Breakfast is better than the grade of facilities. The neighborhood has many mideast stores and attract many people after dark. There is no onsite parking and you need to park at a garage 5 min away.

My room was very was nice, with a window running the full length. Breakfast was served from 7.00 - 10.00 am. The staff were friendly, especially the ladies on reception - who were always very helpful. My only criticism is I would have liked a bed with a softer matteress

At 4am in the morning I walked down and asked for another room. They moved for room next door. I had no problem with the second room, but I was a little scared after find the bugs.

We had an early flight leaving and when we were checkout they asked if we wanted some breakfast to take with. Buffet breakfast in the morning is excellent. Close to the train station and Marienplatz also great food and shopping. Very pleased with our stay here. Thank you for the amazing service!

Also as there was no air conditioning and the temperature was high we had no choice but to leave the window open which led to more noise being heard in the room. Shower was nice and the breakfast was good with plenty of choices which set you up for the day ! Staff were exemplary 👍

Staff at the hotel is first rate. Bathroom in the room was fine. The beds were not good - very saggy. No safe in the room and no air conditioning. A fire escape/walkway right outside the windows meant I didn't feel I could leave the windows open for air.

• Verified traveler (10/5): - Excellent location. Bountiful breakfast. Loved the Nespresso in the room and the old-fashioned touches, like an actual key that you leave at the desk when you go out. Staff knew us and which room we were in and handed it back as we came in. Everyone was very friendly and helpful.
• Verified traveler (10/5): - I stay here on the 15th March to 18th March 2019. I found the staff very friendly and could not do enough to help you. The room was cleaned every day and the breakfast was constantly being top up. This hotel is ideal if you want to shop or explore the landmarks. the only down fall was there is not tea or coffee making facility in your room. I would deferentially stay here again.

• Don (8/5): Walking distance to train station and city center. - Good service. Hotel is clean and comfortable overall. But very hot, even in cold weather. Only way to cool off room was to open windows, but outside noise was terrible. Also, elevator out of service, so going up and down 5 floors of stairs (with luggage) was not fun. Breakfast and service were good. Front lobby service good. Housekeeping did great. The location of hotel is good because it is near the Main train station, Metro subway stops, and city Center. The area is very busy and there are some less desirable people and businesses, but we did not feel unsafe during daytime or evenings. But it is noisy if you have a street side hotel room.
• Karl (10/5): Very nice comfortable hotel. - Very nice traditional European hotel. The rooms were on the smallish side, but certainly big enough for our family. I've stayed in much smaller rooms in London or NYC. They've been updated with modern fittings and our room on the backside was very quiet and very dark, great for sleeping. Lots of Restaurants and Grocery Stores in the neighborhood, and an easy walk to the train station or U-Bahn. The included breakfast was very good as well. Much better than many of the stateside free breakfasts that are all carbs. This had plenty of proteins and fruits and vegetables.
