Старые улочки полно народа и те кто зазывают в кафе и рестораны. Завтрак сразу на крыше здания с очень общительным персоналом и вкусной едой

• Sami (8/5): Varma valinta - Hotellin sijainti oli hyvin keskeinen ja siitä oli helpot kulkuyhteydet lähes minne vaan. Päänähtävyydet lyhyen kävelymatkan päässä. Aamiainen upealla näkymällä. Ruokana turkkilaisia makuja ja hyvä määrä eri vaihtoehtoja. Hotellin henkilökunta oli ystävällistä ja avuliaita. He antoivat neuvoja kaupungilla kulkuun jo ennen kuin ehdimme kysyä. Saimme lisäksi heidän kauttaan kuljetuksen takaisin lentokentälle hyvään hintaan. Huoneet olivat yleisesti siistejä, mutta esim. huoneiden nurkat olla hieman pölyisiä. Siivousta voisi siis hieman tehostaa ajoittain. Huoneen ilmastoinnin kanssa oli hieman haasteita. Huoneessa oli melko lämmin, vaikka lämpötila ei ulkona ollut vielä kovin kuuma.

The suite was very comfortable with 2 rooms (+sofa & tea station) It was a bit confusing as there is a hipodrome hostel as well as apartment suites & it wasn't well explained on the booking.
• Rebecca Orford (9/5): - Clean and comfortable. Night desk person was kind and very helpful. They have signs that day you can have laundry 24 hours a day but it is only available during the day. They pick up at 8 am and drop off at 5pm.
• Caio (10/5): Stepover Istanbul - I enjoyed the coffee, tea and kindness of the employee when I greeted us. The location is also very good and the breakfast corresponds to that described in the reservation. Nothing negative, It was cold on the day of the lodging, but the blankets are very thick and cushions cozy. Not bad about this hosting.

Only 5 min away from Topkapi palace, Hagia Sophia and Blue mosque. There were many restaurants and shops around it. The staff were very friendly and welcoming. The place was very clean. Particularly kitchen.Mrs Elmas was an excellent cook prepping authentic Turkish breakfast, homemade cakes and fresh deserts. Zeynet was making a nice Turkish coffee every morning.Highly recommend this place. N/A
• Yonca Kübra (10/5): Es war wirklich alles super 👍🏻 - Die Räumlichkeiten sind super. Sehr gemütlich und sauber. Die Lage ist super zentral und nachts trotzdem sehr ruhig. Man konnte super schlafen. Es gab nichts. Es wäre nur zusätzlich schön, wenn es nochmal einen großen Spiegel in den Zimmern geben würde. Es gibt nämlich nur am Eingang eins und wenn man mehrere ist, ist es schwierig sich gleichzeitig fertig zu machen.

The hotel was spotless, and the staff were incredibly friendly and helpful. Our room was cleaned every day without us even needing to ask. The food was delicious, especially the freshly baked bread served warm straight from the oven. The location is perfect—just a short walk to the Blue Mosque—with several restaurants and a mini market right downstairs. Highly recommended! Nothing at all , all the staff very good

• richard (8/5): a most enjoyable stay at the location with plenty of places to eat in the evening. - the location was very good for many of the local attractions and the breakfast had a good selection of food on offer i was up graded up graded to the apartments across the road from the hotel which was a nice surprise and breakfast was served on the top floor which had a excellent view of the surroundings. the router for my chrome book was not a strong enough to be able to use it.

• Kok Siong (10/5): Excellent location, good breakfast. - Hotel is very centrally located, about 5 minutes walk to the square outside Blue mosque. Breakfast is in another building across the street. Breakfast spread is good, and food is delicious. There is plenty of food and shops around the hotel, but I would advice to check the prices, and maybe venture a bit further out for more options, and maybe cheaper prices. Tram stop is about 10 min walk away. With the tram, you can go pretty far out of the central area. Restaurants around the hotel is pricey.

• Susannah (8/5): A wonderful Istanbul base - A perfect location- a brief walk from the transit bus drop-off, and every highlight of the city. The view from the rooftop breakfast room us breathtaking - the Bosphorus on one side and the Blue Mosque on the other the other. Princess the hotel cat is a lovely constant presence.

Breakfast was again in another building. The ad on booking.com was a bit misleading… showing the mosque instead of the actual hotel, and showing a huge discount, I cant imagine this room going for a higher price than I paid

• Kreshnik (8/5): Emplacement excellent, chambre spacieuse mais bruyante - L'emplacement de l'hôtel est excellent, à 5min à pied de la Mosquée Bleue, du Bosphore et des site d'intérêt. La chambre était très spacieuse. La chambre 102 est au dessus d'un restaurant qui fait du bruit jusqu'à tard le soir (environ 2h du matin), pas facile de ce reposer après une journée de visite. L'isolation n'est pas terrible et il n'y a pas de store donc encore beaucoup de lumière jusque tard la nuit.

• Ahmed (4/5): Fair, spoilt by them not giving us the room booked and the poor breakfast choice. - Staff were very helpful and friendly and the location was very convenient to get around the areas of Istanbul we wanted to visit. On our first night we were not accommodated into the Hotel Hippodrome. We were told because we had arrived late and there were no rooms available (even though we had reserved a room which was very frustrating and annoying). Instead we were housed across the street in a what I can only describe as a derelict, shabby and outdated building. The carpet on the stairs was worn out, the bannisters loose and the toilet in the bathroom was dripping water all night, not allowing us to get a good nights sleep. The hotel was called “Apart Hotel Hippodrome” and we were told it was one of their hotel It’s not till we endlessly complained that the following morning we were given a room in The Hotel Hippodrome. The staff were friendly enough but the manager who arrived at 10am was very rude, barely recognising our presence (she couldn’t even bring herself to acknowledge us, instead choosing to communicate through the front desk staff. Would I recommend this place to anyone? I’d say yes but be very wary and communicate with them before your trip out to ensure you are getting the room you have booked. Lastly the breakfast was very poor with little choice and no change in variety.

• Mohsin (9/5): The best places are the ones that you are able to walk to. We loved it. - The property has great location, reasonable amenities and daily breakfast. We loved the neighbourhood and the place is 5 mins walk to Hagia Sophia, blue mosque and another 5-8 mins to tram station. It is easily accessible to Ubers and connects to main highways. The staff were super polite, very welcoming and always ready to help. Highly recommended for small families. Nothing really. The breakfast was in adjacent buildings rooftop. It’s quite decent. Everything was wonderful.

• Fatehi (6/5): My experience staying with Hippodrome Hotel - - location, close from the places and in the center of the city. - clean property. - staff are good and give advices and recommend places to visit. - staff helping in arranging tours and places to visit. - the restaurant view is great. - I stayed in one floor and my kids in other floor due to shortage in the rooms. - the property is small but this is the style for the area. - the restaurant location in other building front of the hotel.

• Radmila (10/5): - Все было прекрасно, все понравилось. Отель рядом с мечетью, с окна открывался красивый вид. Кондиционеры работали отлично. Завтрак с видом на море, был разнообразный и вкусный. Приятные люди на ресепшн и другие работники, всегда помогали и были вежливыми и приятными. Все понравилось 😊 Приятно удивило, что уборка была каждый день, как и смена полотенец.
• Mohammed Jalil (10/5): Amazing stay that will be missed - We stayed for a week. Wonderful stay. Couldn't have asked for more. Good value for money. Clean and comfortable with excellent staff. Chef Zeynat and Ms Gulcan provided lovely variety of fresh breakfast daily and were always smiling and very welcoming. . Mr Zeynats fresh cakes were delicious! Guest kept going back for more. Berkay, Tekin and Sezgin were great in Reception. Always welcomed with a smile and very professional. Cicek was also great at her housekeeping. Our rooms were always spotless and stocked up with toiletries and towels. We didn't need to ask for anything from anyone. They have a good team. It may not look like a big fancy five star hotel with huge posh rooms but it offered a five star service in a very clean and friendly environment that we will always remember and would definitely recommend which is why I noted the staff names. We will miss our time spent there.. Nothing.
• Ruben (5/5): No es lo que parece, pero no está mal. - Localizado en la colina de las mezquitas azul y rosa, a poca distancia del tranvía No es un alojamiento. Son varios edificios viejos en distintos grados de rehabilitación. La calidad de las habitaciones es variable según en qué edificio estés Las fotografías de booking no describen la realidad, son una composición de tomas desde los distintos edificios. Solo hay una azotea cafetería que solo es operativa para el desayuno. El aislamiento acústico, cero Sin embargo, las vistas desde la cafetería son excepcionales sobre el mar y las mezquitas. El personal es muy amable y generoso, fueron comprensivos, me mejoraron de habitación cuando hubo oportunidad, y siempre dispuestos a ayudar. Buena gente.

• joseni Aparecida (9/5): VERY PLEASANT STAY AND WILL BE HAPPY TO GO BACK THERE - THE BREAKFAST WAS VERY GOOD WITH PLENTY OF OPTIONS. FRIENDLY STAFF. LOVELY VIEWS FROM THE BREAKFAST ROOM OVER THE CITY. WE ENJOYED VERY MUCH THE BREAKFAST TIME AT THIS HOTEL. NOTHING THAT WE DIDN'T LIKE
