- Dean (10/5): - From the moment we arrived the staff was amazing. They go above and beyond for you. The level of service here is incredible. The hotel lobby is gorgeous with its massive mable pillars inside and has great places to relax and admire the architectural details. The rooms are big and well decorated inside. The bed was comfortable with lovely sheets and pillows. The breafast buffet had everything you could want with a spectacular view of the harbor. It's walking distance to the Blue mosque, grand bazaar, and many restaurants. I will definitely stay here again on my next visit. Other hotel should take note on the level of service that AJWA gives for a true 5 star experience 👌

- Riki (10/5): - I had a wonderful stay at AJWA. The location is easily walkable to most of the historic sites and the exciting hustle and bustle. The moment I walked in the doors each day though,it was instantly peaceful,quiet and elegant. The staff is kind and helpful.

We even got complimentary breakfast to our room on the day we were leaving early in the morning. Staff communication was impeccable, lovely to meet everyone and hope to return soon. We had so much fun exploring the neighborhood and discovering amazing rooftop dinner spots nearby. The staff were incredibly friendly and made us feel truly welcome throughout our stay. Highly recommended!

Most of all, this hotel is quite elegant and tucked away in the Old City, about a .8mile walk from major sites. It does require some steep walking up/down hill. They have a free shuttle that will take you to the Blue Mosque, Hagia Sofia, and the Grand Bazaar. They are happy to arrange for a taxi to other locations (Galataport, airport, etc.) Beds really comfortable, all marble bathroom nicely appointed with towels individually wrapped.

The hotel is quiet and elegant, staff are polite and helpful, the hotel rooms are well maintained and staff are willing to provide a great service to meet all your needs. The quality of breakfast is superb! A big thank you to Abdul Rehman for all his efforts during breakfast every morning. We had a great stay at the Ajwa hotel, my only criticism is that I felt that the air conditioning in our room (207) wasn’t a five star hotel standard! When returning to our room after a day out in the scorching 36 degrees the AC was not sufficient to cool you down quickly. Also, if you have mobility issues then the location might not be for you but the rest is absolutely 5 stars.

We stayed at the White House villa which is owned by the hotel and 10 min away by foot. They can provide transportation if needed. Villa is beautifully decorated and brand new as welll. Location of villa is not that close to hotel so important to coordinate by phone if you need any services done there. Great place for a group of 8 or 10 as they have 4 large bedrooms, can put roll over beds and there are many places in the house for get togethers including a second floor living room, a kitchen area and a typically decorated living room that looks into a private patio. Very good if you have kids who need space to hang out during the day while not touring.

- Sina (4/5): - When we arrived at AJWA Sultanahmet Hotel, we were handed a form filled with numerous legal clauses and numbers. When I spoke with the hotel management about it, they rudely insisted that we either sign it or we wouldn’t get a room. They kept repeating that their hotel housed many valuable items and that they needed to protect themselves from guests. This approach made us feel more like we were in a courtroom than a five-star hotel. Ultimately, we had no choice but to sign. Furthermore, despite my prior email request for a firm mattress due to back issues, they only changed the mattress cover. The mattress itself was in such poor condition that my spouse and I sank on both sides, with the middle of the bed rising up. This is not what you’d expect from a five-star hotel. The breakfast was also extremely disappointing, nowhere near five-star quality, which only added to our frustration. Overall, our stay was far from pleasant.
