- Kamolthorn (2/5): With the same budget, you can probably find another hotel with much better service & professionalism - We can just sleep without thinking about anything. I am very disappointed with the service at this hotel. Almost all of the staff members seemed unprofessional and did not know how to properly assist guests. First of all, I booked an airport transfer through the hotel, but upon arrival at the airport, I had to wait for more than one hour because of poor arrangements. Honestly, it would have been much easier and faster to simply take an Uber from the airport. Secondly, when arranging the return airport transfer on the check-out date, I had to speak with several different staff members, and none of them seemed confident or organized. Even after confirming multiple times that we needed a large taxi for four people with luggage, I still felt uncertain whether the arrangement was correct. One staff member even shouted at me during the conversation, and when I raised my voice back in frustration, he asked me why I was shouting at him. This was extremely unprofessional. Unfortunately, my concerns turned out to be valid. On the check-out day, a small taxi arrived that was clearly too small for four passengers and all our suitcases, despite my repeated confirmations with the hotel staff beforehand. What shocked me most was that the staff member did not know how to handle the situation and even asked us what he should do. I did not expect such a response from hotel staff. Lastly, the staff were not willing to help carry our luggage from the room, even though we were four ladies traveling with suitcases. I have stayed at many hotels before and never leaved negative reviews, but this experience was truly disappointing. I would not recommend this hotel based on the poor service and lack of professionalism.

- Dilyana (7/5): Добро хотелче, но подлежи на ремонт - хотелчето е на много обро място за туристически обиколки на Истанбул, чисто е, но трбява да бъде ремонтирано. Има странности-в ресторанта за закуска по пода има бели ховлиени кърпи. В една от стаите, които ни бяха дали под радиатора имаше бяла хавлиена кърпа, защото тече. Пердетата сигурно са много стари, защото целите са на дупки.

Staff very friendly, breakfast included, room is tidy, cleaned everyday, parking in front of hotel (if there is space). got some towels one day...i think Jesus used them also. The mini-fridge in the room is semi-useless. From the bathroom came a stale smell sometimes. But at the price i payed, it really doesn't matter.

Location was good too just a short walk to the Blue mosque and tram station. The room could have been better we had 2 bathrooms one was bad with limescale on the shower head and the shower door not closing proper as well as it coming out of the hinges when trying to close it. There was tape floor where the connecting door for the room was and it also had a crack in it.

I don't know if this is standard in Turkish hotels, but Tashkonak provides great choice of warm and cold dishes to choose from - everything is fresh and tasty. The staff is friendly and helpful - we asked for suggestions for sightseeing, and the plan that front desk guy suggested us worked just perfect. Really appreciated. There is also the terrace on the roof with a great view at Bosphorus. Great location - five minutes walk from the hippodrome and Blue Mosque. Cant't really ask for more for this price. :) Small items like electric sockets, door and window locks are crying for change (lot of them damaged, but still working), but this is just a minor nuisance.

The hotel definitely needs renovation, and the breakfast was quite basic. Overall, it offers good value for money for a low-cost hotel, mainly thanks to the friendly and helpful staff.

- KOMATHI (7/5): Convenient hotel to the tourist spot. - The location was excellent ,near to Arasta Bazaar,Blue Mosque,Hagia Sofiya,Topkapi place ,Basilica Cistern and the Hop on and Hop off bus services and the tram. Its all within a walking distance . Breakfast was good .Room was fine except mineral water was not given daily and there was any kettle to boil water and sort . Otherwise it is a good stay for family ,friends or even a single traveler.

- daniele (10/5): Siamo stati benissimo! - Il soggiorno è stato molto piacevole. Lo staff è stato molto gentile e disponibile. Ci hanno consigliato le attività migliori da fare, cosa evitare e a cosa prestare attenzione in città. Abbiamo avuto un problema di rumore con la stanza, lo staff si è subito attivato per risolvere, sono stati molto gentili e disponibili. Se tornerò a Istanbul, soggiornerò qui!
- Manuela (7/5): QUASI TUTTO BENE FINO ALLA PARTENZA - La posizione dell'hotel è ottima per raggiungere diversi punti di interesse a piedi e per prendere i mezzi. La colazione è molto tradizionale, principalmente piatti salati e una sola opzione dolce. Le camere sono piccole ma dotate di tutto il necessario e pulite. Il rapporto qualità prezzo è bilanciato. Avevamo il transfer per l'aeroporto convenzionato con l'albergo. Il ragazzo della reception ci ha consigliato di partire dall'albergo solo 3 ore prima del volo per andare in aeroporto e noi ci siamo fidati. In realtà siamo arrivati in aeroporto molto tardi e abbiamo dovuto fare i salti mortali per non perdere l'aereo. E' stata veramente un'esperienza traumatica e ho dovuto anche lasciare il mio bagaglio in aeroporto pur di non perdere il volo. Da una persona che vive a Istanbul, conosce perfettamente le problematiche del traffico, lavora tutti i giorni con i turisti e sta in una reception, non è concepibile di organizzare un transfer in quella maniera. Sono molto irritata da questo avvenimento.
