Reception dominated by technology. 2 early requests for adjoining rooms had been ignored. I much prefer traditional reception desk which is more private and personal. My window was stuck open and therefore noisy.

- David (7/5): - The hotel was located close to St. Pauls cathedral and St. Pauls tube station and so is easy to find. It is a short walk to sights such as the Tate modern across the river. You can get to sights vis the nearby tube station too. There was a nice lounge. The staff were friendly and helpful. The was also a nice italian restaurant that you could access directly from the hotel. We tried it and were impressed by the quality of the food and the service. it was reasonably priced too. The price! But all London hotels are very expensive! Also we booked a room that was supposed to have be a 'One Room Suite with Kitchenette' This was supposed to have a microwave too. There was a kitchenette, but there was no crockery or cutlery. Nor a microwave. So basically it was essentially not functional as a usable kitchen for us.

- Rossella (10/5): - struttura pulitissima, centralissima a 5 min dalla metro, è situata difronte a vari ristoranti e a 2 min dalla Cattedrale, il personale gentilissimo, camere molto belle e spaziose, abbiamo trovato persino il ferro da stiro, nel nostro piano ma penso in ogni piano, l’hotel mette a disposizione delle bottiglie che puoi riempire con acqua fresca ed eviti anche di comprare l’acqua con quello che costa a Londra il letto leggermente piccolo ma non è un problema dell’hotel proprio i letti inglesi matrimoniali sono grandi quanto una piazza e mezza italiana

O barulho do exterior, à noite e de manhã cedo, devido ao mau funcionamento das janelas, que não fechavam bem, e a entrada da luz de manhã dado que as cortinas fechadas ficavam as uns centímetros da parede.

Breakfast was good but always the same: eggs, bacon, potatoes, mushrooms, and sausages every day. Same for the sweet part. Good food, but change something could be a good idea. Finally, the 2nd bed in my room was terrible. I asked for changing, done in a few minutes, still terrible.

- Elizabeth (9/5): We enjoyed the stay very much, and we would recommend the property to others. - The staff was very friendly and accommodating. The lattes we had from The Counter were delicious. The room was larger than expected; the largest we have stayed in in London. After walking the city all day, the bed was a welcome comfort. The location was very near bus stops and a 5-15 minute walk from the Tube.

- ANGELIKI (8/5): An easy relaxed stay. - I asked from the receptionist if was possible to go in my room earlier because I was travelling the previous day again and I had again my flight to London from 5 o clock in the morning and I was exhausted. So, he was so kind to give me the room earlier and by this, I had the time to do my shower and sleep for a couple of hours and have some rest. Only for this understanding I will come back again and I have informed my surrounding how understanding was the gentleman. EVERYTHING WAS VERY GOOD and the employees were always with smile and very helpful.

- FRANCESCA (10/5): Hotel eccellente - Hotel centralissimo. Molte località note raggiungibili anche a piedi, stazione metro a 5 minuti e fermata bus 15 e bus 26 proprio fuori hotel. A due passi dalla cattedrale di St Paul. Staff molto disponibile camere spaziose e con pulizia quotidiana. Colazione molto buona e con orari comodi. Ci siamo trovati benissimo.

- Julia (9/5): Super gelegenes Hotel und echt zu empfehlen für alle die ein paar Tage London erkunden möchten. - Sehr gut gelegen direkt neben der St. Paul‘s Cathedral, ebenfalls halten die Hop On Hop Off Busse direkt vorm Hotel. Auch zu Fuß ist man relativ schnell bei einigen öffentlichen Verkehrsmitteln (U-Bahn, Zug, etc.). Nach ca. 10 Minuten Fußweg kommt man zum Tate Modern Museum, ebenfalls ist der Borough Market ziemlich nah (ca. 20 Minuten zu Fuß vom Hotel). Das Personal war ebenfalls sehr freundlich und die Zimmer zwar klein, aber für einen Städte Trip völlig ausreichend. Direkt beim Hotel sind auch ein McDonalds und ein Tesco wenn man sich einen Kaffee oder Proviant für Sightseeing Touren holen möchte. Etwas teuer dafür dass man „nur“ dort schläft, aber London ist generell sehr teuer. Wenn das Frühstück im Preis inkludiert gewesen wäre wär es perfekt gewesen. Achtung: in London generell sind Mülleimer rar gesät, ca. 1 Kilometer um die Unterkunft herum ist keiner zu finden, daher sollte man darauf achten seinen Müll mitzunehmen bis man einen findet - das scheint aber generell ein London Problem zu sein.

- Iva (9/5): - Hotel přímo v centru, vynikající výchozí bod na všechny strany. Při tom okna do dvora, takže absolutní klid. Pokoj prostorný, čistý. Za nás 8,7. Teplota v pokoji byla nastavena centrálně pro nás na málo. Hodne komunikace s hotelem. Na pokoji byla avizovana mikrovlnna trouba, nenasli jsme ji. Kuchynka pouze s 3 hrnky a konvici a kavovarem.

- Anniki (9/5): Good value for money - Excellent hotel in a great central location, offering very good value for money. The room was spacious, nice and modern, and the bed was very comfortable. A fridge in the room is nice to have, as are an iron and ironing board. I also liked the AI customer assistant, which provided quick answers to my questions. The walls are thin, so noise from the neighbouring room can be heard quite clearly. The breakfast selection was relatively limited.

La situación es estupenda y el personal muy atento y además hay 2 chicas que hablan español La zona es muy tranquila (ideal para dormir) pero a la vez llena de restaurantes, bares, supermercados.... No es que no me gustase pero hacía muchisimo calor por las noches en la habitación. No era capaz de controlar el termostato. Creo que lo tienen centralizado. Pero solo es un detalle minimo para lo bien que está el hotel

Justo al salir del hotel, en la acera de enfrente, 50 metros más abajo, hay una estación de tren que conecta directamente con los aeropuertos de Gatwick y Luton. Los trenes salen cada 15 minutos y los domingos está cerrada. Que cobran 50 libras de fianza

- James (5/5): Terrible AC system lets down an otherwise good hotel - The staff were very friendly and helpful. We had some propblems with our room and they were prompt to sort that out. The room was clean and quiet and the location is great. I saw some other reviews that were negative about the Breakfast but I thought it was good. A major issue is the air conditioning. You cannot control the temperature in your own room, there is a central system that monitors the outside temperature and then decides the temperature for all the rooms automatically. Around sunset/early night this was fine and the system did a good job, however, overnight it heated our room a ridiculous amount - we were awoken at 2am and the temeprature in our room was 29C (outside was about 14C). From reading other reviews, I understand this is not uncommon and this really needs to be looked at. We have a 1 year old baby so it's actually dangerous for her to sleep at this temperature. Staff were helpful, they opened our window (you can't do this yourself) and turned the AC off via the room's fusebox. That said, the fact they knew this was the solution (and it's an unorthodox one) shows this must happen a lot and the building's management need to sort this issue so they don't put guests (and their own staff) in this position.
