Shame the lighthouse roof bar wasn't accessible but don'y let that be an issue as there is another at Fullerton Bay Hotel.

The balcony (that we had requested on booking) along with the view of Marina Bay was what made it special. The service at the Straits Club was very attentive and well worth paying the extra for. The champagne breakfast, the afternoon tea and the evening cocktails were all enjoyable. We had to stop eating so much! The location could not be beaten. My advice, go for the "Straits Club Marina Bay View" booking and you must add a special request for a balcony, as not every room has it. Shame the swimming pool could not be bigger, shortage of loungers due to the space, and noise from the kids which was inevitable being only one small pool. Being a heritage hotel this was understandable. Although a great location, its not really a family friendly hotel, especially for younger kids. It is a shame that the lighthouse (roof bar) is not open for use other than for events!

Its location is unbeatable, right in the heart of the city and within walking distance of many of the main attractions. The building itself is stunning, full of history and beautifully maintained. The breakfast is outstanding, with a wide variety of high-quality options. Overall, a highly recommended hotel for its location, service, and overall experience. On the downside, the pool area is not as impressive as expected. The space feels quite limited, with chairs crowded together, very little sunlight, and not much room to relax comfortably.

Accommodation matched the price. Great buffet breakfast with huge range of options.Acc No pillow selection. I hate doonas in hot climates, Requested sheet and blanket only.
