What really made the stay stand out was the Royal Club Lounge. This is what elevated the entire experience. The service there was some of the best we have had. The team was welcoming, consistent, and made the space feel relaxed and easy to enjoy. A special thank you to Pang, who stood out from check in to check out. She was warm, proactive, and went above expectations in every interaction. You can tell she truly cares about the guest experience. We also want to recognize Sarinton at Smooth Curry. We dined there twice and both experiences were excellent. Her service was so thoughtful that we decided to go back again! Overall, this is a hotel that delivers where it matters most. It had been nearly 10 years since our last visit, and we were happy to find that the service is still just as exceptional. The front desk and lobby staff were consistently warm, helpful, and welcoming throughout our stay. As Platinum members, we really appreciated being able to check in early and receive a late checkout, which worked perfectly with our flight schedule. While an upgrade wasn’t immediately available at check-in, the manager kindly let us know that options might open up later if we were willing to move rooms. True to her word, she reached out proactively a few days into our stay, and we were able to upgrade to a spacious one-bedroom suite. We truly appreciated her attentiveness and follow-through. For our welcome gift, we chose the daily breakfast, which was an excellent decision. The main restaurant offers an extensive buffet with a wide variety of cuisines, including Indian, Chinese, Thai, and Western options, along with made-to-order dishes. There’s also a smaller selection available in the lounge. We especially loved the mango sticky rice at the fruit station—it was a highlight! Lounge access was another great platinum perk, with evening cocktail hours that included a nice selection of appetizers. Alcoholic drinks could also be ordered from the menu at no additional charge during that time. We also made good use of the daily laundry/pressing service, which was very convenient. The pool area was lovely, and the attentive staff made it even more enjoyable by offering water and fresh fruit—such a thoughtful touch. The hotel’s location is also a big plus, with easy access to the BTS station and several large shopping malls nearby. Overall, we highly recommend the Athenee and would absolutely stay here again.

It felt like a luxury condo and was so spacious for our family of 4. Including a living room and dining room, large entry way. We started our trip to Thailand here and used the hotel as a base camp for all the tourist must-dos. The location in the embsssy district is lovely along with the proximity to the Sky train. When our flight was canceled we ended up spending a bonus night at the end of our 2.5 week stay. Our family couldn’t be happier. The breakfast is absolutely phenomenal and the Thai and Japanese restaurant are top tier dining destinations! We look forward to when we are fortunate enough to return.

Boopki (Pupki?) who maintained the room did an excellent job and was very sweet. The front desk are heroes of customer service. The staff running the lounges and elevators are always alert and friendly. Wish I knew all the names but great job.

Situated on the prestigious Wireless Road, it’s a peaceful oasis that is still just a short stroll from the BTS Ploen Chit station. The department stores, convenient store, Massages, are also in very short distance. The pool area feels like a secret garden in the middle of a concrete jungle—perfect for unwinding after a day of shopping. Suites are spacious for our family trip, there are also many restaurants inside the hotel. The absolute highlight of my seven-day stay was the Royal Club Lounge. From the morning breakfast to the afternoon tea and then evening cocktails were exquisite, it was the "heart-led" service that truly set this experience apart. I could stay in the hotel whole day with whatever I need! I would like to extend my sincere gratitude to the following team members who made me feel like royalty in the Lounge: Mr. Tawan, Ms. Orathai and Chef. Suriyan., you really made my stay memorable. - Basak (8/5): Overall a very nice stay! - Overall a very nice hotel and stay! Personnel was friendly, our room was very clean and nice. Bed was also comfortable, and breakfast was very good as well. Pool area was also very good. We booked the room with the city view and it lived up to our expectations. One big bonus is that it is close to the train station (Phloen Chit), which was very practical. During the check-in, my VISA debit card (Revolut) was not accepted for the deposit payment (there were enough funds in the card so money was not the problem) even though this was never an issue in any hotel or online payment. After clarification, I was informed by Revolut that this is due to the fact that the hotel's system processes the payment as magnetic stripe payment. So this is an issue that needs to be resolved by the hotel in my opinion, considering the price we paid and status of the hotel. We had to pay the deposit by cash, which was unfortunate for us.

From the moment you arrive, you are greeted immediately by the doorman, ready to grab your bags and reception is always ready to check you in promptly. Someone is always there to assist you at the elevator. Housekeeping is phenomenal. Room is very modern looking and well kept. It is very quiet so you can get a peaceful and restful sleep each night. Cleanliness is top notch. Everyday, I feel like there was always a personal touch and close attention to our needs- whether it is more water, towels or a celebration. Staff made our anniversary and birthday celebration really amazing and one to remember for a long time. Location is great. Close to Central world, other malls and Akara Sky. Right in front of the hotel is the BTS Sky train stations. Spa staff were very welcoming and warm. Byredo bath amenities were fantastic and a great touch. After being out all day exploring the beautiful city of Bangkok, I always looked forward to coming back to a hotel that felt like home. Would most definitely stay here again if I have the chance to come back and would recommend to others.

We usually go the Shangri La hotel when we are in Bangkok but we were told that it was being refurbished so e decided to select another hotel and we were extremely satisfied with this one. - N5897QBjudithk (8/5): Wonderful hotel but time for a room refresh - We stayed for two nights at The Athenee in Bangkok. We always choose this hotel because of its excellent location, close to the Ploen Chit BTS station, but also because of the fantastic pianist, François. Unfortunately, on Friday he only started playing at 8:00 pm, so we missed him during pre-dinner drinks. However, he kindly continued playing longer especially for us afterwards. He is truly wonderful and a real highlight of the hotel experience. The gym is spacious and well equipped, and the swimming pool is also large and very pleasant. The staff are extremely friendly, and the breakfast is the best I know — with super friendly service. The bakery is beautiful as well, although we were disappointed to see that the delicious baguettes have been removed from the menu. The rooms are a good size and clean. However, just like during our previous stay, we noticed again that the rooms have a slightly musty smell. We believe this is due to the carpeting. It really feels like the rooms are due for an update, particularly replacing the carpet with laminate or wooden flooring. Both our room and our son’s room had the same slightly damp smell, which is a shame. We sincerely hope that this feedback will be taken seriously, because the hotel truly deserves a 10 out of 10 thanks to the staff. However, this issue might make us consider staying elsewhere next time.

- travelbkkb (10/5): Superb choice in BKK - Excellent. I am on long stay here for many months and its great. Well led by K Irada and K Sopida who are very proactive and understand customer loyalty. One of the best aspects is the Club Lounge led by K Damisa. She manages a great team that cant do enough for you. She is a great asset to the hotel with her kindness and ability to anticipate the needs of guests.Evening food selection is extensive and breakfast good. Everywhere feels fresh and clean. Highly revommended.

Good location with easy walking distance to local attractions. Arrived early but room was ready for us right away. Great pool area had no problems getting a sun bed and pool staff made sure you stayed well hydrated throughout the day

Must visit when in Bangkok! They even gave me a birthday cake to bring back to the hotel! Just great!

The service is also very good the staff are very helpful especially Panida & Kao who serve us today very sweet and kind. Seafood section is my fav spot Yummy Yummy~. Lovely time in Rain Tree Cafe 🥰

BTS a 300 mt Centro commerciale molto bello e di classe super a400mt In Bangkok credo sia la zona più bella Hotel Bello ottima Piscina Breakfast molto buono e posizionato vino alla Stazione BTS e il più bellissimo Centro commerciale super lusso Central Embassy di Bangkok. Però se ho voluto guardare Australian Open di Tennis ho dovuto andare in un Bar . L’Hotel non ha il canale a Pagamento per tutte le gare o Calcio che avvengono nel Mondo. Questo un 5 Stelle dovrebbe avere anche questo Servizio. La Catena Marriott penso che possa permettersi di acquistare un canale a pagamento e non solo quelli gratuiti. Spero che in futuro di organizzino.

- Yulhyang (10/5): A Voyage to Our Local Root is a must at the Athenee! - We visitied Athenee hotel to celebrate our 2nd wedding anniversary. The room was beautifully decorated with flowers for our special occasion. The staff was super kind and helpful. We also attended "Vogae to Our Local Roots" - a quick tour of the hotel to learn its history. At the end of the tour, we visited a suite room and had an opportunity to take picutres in Thai traditional costume. Gap, who was our guide, was very kind and took nice pictures of us. We received our photo in a cute photo frame! This became our favorite souvenir from Bangkok. (Thanks again, Gap!) We loved this hotel, but the food selection at the breakfast restaurant and executive lounge could be improved - as there are many good other options already in Bangkok!
- Luke (10/5): Proper luxury and great breakfast at reasonable price - Comfortable, beautifully decorated rooms. Great pool and reasonably priced poolside drinks. Fantastic breakfast. It's a bit of a walk down a busy highway to the nearest overpass connecting to a mall.

- Guillermo (9/5): Good stay at The Athenee - The comfort from the hotel is outstanding, just like being at home. The breakfast was fascinating, especially the juice bar where guests can order fresh fruit juices. The linen is prime quality and the room is soundproofed. So, if you come to rest, The Athenee is a great place to stay. One more advantage: it is near Central Embassy, a mall where it is possible to change money. There was a misunderstanding when trying to set the bill on our arrival. The hotel did not accept debit cards, just credit cards. However, they didn't convey that information to us. After charging us our debit card, they said the hotel cannot retain the payment, but it was already debited from our account. Furthermore, the receptionist said our money would be refunded in one month... At the end we sorted out how to set the bill, but it would have been great if the hotel staff could explain better all the guest's options.

- prapatm (10/5): I appreciated during our Brunch with my family - I visited The Rain Tree Cafe at the afternoon today. Khun Natnicha is the service assistant in the restaurant. She was very nice and kind support us during our Brunch with my family. The food was incredible especially sashimi which was very fresh. In overall, I appreciated here and will definitely visit again.
- Q6667UTstefank (8/5): Excellent location - The Athenee Bangkok is only a couple of metres walk to BTS Phloen Chit station, one of the most prestigious business locations in Bangkok with plenty of shopping and dining venues near-by. Welcome was absolutely friendly, and all of the door and front desk team members were extremely friendly and attentive. Our room was held in standard five-star design, pleasant and perfectly clean. Our view of the Phloen Chit skyline was not spectacular, but very nice. Our dinner at the House of Smooth Curry surpassed our expectations, regarding both meal quality and service. The welcome at breakfast fell short of the previous experiences, as we had to sign a form to declare that we had been admitted to the restaurant. Even though selection was huge, quality did not meet our expectations, especially the coffee was of questionable standard. Unfortunately, the public restrooms were not clean. Finally, the Check-Out was far more technical and not super friendly, especially compared to the overwhelming welcome. Still, our overall impression was absolutely positive and we are definitely considering to come back.

- Tracey (10/5): Fabulous hotel - This hotel is amazing. Staff are fabulous, every single one of them, from the cleaners right up to the managers and they are all treated the same, all respected. I love visiting this hotel. Food is very good, facilities are great. Nothing is too much trouble for the staff. There is nothing to dislike.

In particular, Chef Sang-Arun (Ma-Meuw) and our server Sang were so helpful, kind, funny and lovely in helping my wife get delicious food that is gluten free and fit her allergy requirements. They both are incredibly good at their jobs and deserve the highest praise!
- jkJ8389BQ (10/5): A very delightful stay at The Athenee Bangkok - Love the beautiful room, The Club Lounge and mostly the staff who go all out to make our stay a pleasant one. Tar and his colleague, H were most helpful and we enjoyed spending time with them during the daily activity curated for guests. Check in and check out were a breeze. Love the Phan Phum that are used to decorate the lobby. Very exquisite. The butler and housekeeping staff were most kind to set up a beautiful decor in our room as we were celebrating our 42nd Anniversary. The location of the hotel is superb. Very pleasant surrounding yet near the BTS and Central Embassy.

- Jtung74 (10/5): Fantastic Stay - Retrurned to the beautiful Athenee Bangkok for the third times. I visit Bangkok very often and always tried some new hotels but I think Athenee stands out - great value, very friendly service, good facilities and very good location. It is not as new or fancy as other new properties but it definitely has its charm and well blended Thai elements. The biggest plus for this hotel is of course the consistent service and its wonderful associates. All the housekeepers did their job well. Both rooms I stayed were kept in excellent condition. Samai who cleaned my first room on the 8th floor was very detail minded. She even left a small card to the reindeer soft toy I was given at the airport. It brightened up my day. At the reception, both Thawanya and Heather did an excellent job with a smile. Nothing is too much trouble for them. So was the lady Onanong at the pool - she is attentive, and always remembers your needs. Jirwat and Ink at the concierge desk were also very approachable and treated me like a real friend. I also cannot praise enough the hard working, energetic and super friendly Duangdao at the breakfast. The brealfast spread int he Rain Tree cafe was already great quality and quantity, but it was made very special due to her extremely hard work to make fresh juice so startt my day, and always wears a big smile. It’s the team member like her that draws me back to Athenee trip after trip despite so many newer properties in Bangkok.
