• carlos (3/5): Un hotel para no volver - La ubicación fue lo único que nos gustó La limpieza muy mejorable, la ducha la encontramos atascada, las toallas en 3 días no las cambiaban, la habitación no se limpiaba y hasta encontramos ropa de anteriores huéspedes. Nunca me había encontrado algo así, además de un quinto piso con difícil accesibilidad por escaleras estrechas.

• Fouss (8/5): - Le personnel de l'hôtel était vraiment sympathique, nous avons été très bien accueillis, par chance la personne qui nous a accueilli parlait un peu français ça a grandement facilité le contact. La chambre était propre, la literie confortable et la salle de bain bien que petite ne manquait de rien. Nous étions au premier étage avec une superbe vue sur le canal. Nous reviendrons, un rapport qualité-prix au top!

• Analiza (1/5): Worse Stay ended up moving to other hotel. - Nothing. Zero. It's the worst hotel we've ever stayed. So dirty and smells molds. Bathroom is always wet. Tissue holder is rusty. Carpet is so filthy and smells really old. I got itchy skin after sleeping one night. We suppose to stay for 3 nights but we ended up checking out in the morning. We don't like everything. Don't book here. It's so dirty. Nice in the lobby but if you go inside it's ao dirty old and moldy. I asked for refund bec the picture in the post looks so nice but pics are deceiving. If you open the bathroom door smeld moldy all over the room. So disgusting. I messaged booking.com many times about this issue to what ther call 24/7 customer service but it's been 3 days now and no answer. I messaged the WA of the hotel but ignored my message and nobody was in the lobby when we needed to leave. We couldn't wait for 2 hours bec we needed to find another hotel.

The bed should be classed as a day bed, not even the size of a single bed and it was very uncomfortable, it felt like it was on a slant. There was no hand wash, body wash, towels and no drinking facilities. The hotel was at the more affordable end of the scale but I can't say it was value for money. Far from it.

• Francisco (10/5): Ótimas opção custo benefício. - Localização é perfeita. Da pra ir a pé para os principais pontos turísticos. Cama boa. O Hotel tem cafeteira e recepção durante o dia. Os anfitriões são super solícitos. O aquecedor é muito fraco. Para épocas muito frias pode ser um problema. E o banheiro é pequena, mas muito pequeno mesmo. A toalha de banho ê bem pequena, do tamanho de toalha de rosto. Tinha duas para cada, mas mesmo assim era ruim pois ficavam muito molhadas. Não tem serviço de limpeza do quarto e troca de toalhas durante a hospedagem.

• hugo.perez.01 (9/5): - La Ubicación No funciona el ascensor. Y eso ya lo habia visto en los comentarios, asi que supongo que lleva mucho tiempo. Pero lo peor es que viajé con mi madre, una señora de mas de 70 años, y nos dieron un piso 4. Sufrimos bastante con eso.
• didel11 (2/5): Find somewhere else - This is the worst hotel I have ever stayed in. I was aware that there was no lift and was put on the second floor. My luggage was taken up for me which was a plus. There was not even shower gel let alone shampoo and conditioner. The TV (not a smart tv) wasn’t working as a result of someone cutting a cable and the whole street was out. A previous occupant had broken the power plug and I had to use the one that was at the same level as the light switch. I was supplied with a power board. I asked if there would be a deduction for this inconvenience and was given a firm no. The room was so small. It was a challenge to walk around it. The bathroom was so small that I had to towel dry in the room. The shower took at least 5 minutes to heat and water went everywhere. No bath mat was supplied and the towels were the size of hand towels. The walls were so thin you could hear conversations from adjoining rooms and people walking above. The bizarre thing about the room was the number of mirrors. I counted 6 plus 2 on the ceiling. Maybe they are hoping to make the room look bigger. My room was not serviced the first day but it was the next two days and I was given fresh towels. This was the first time in a hotel that locked my suitcase when I went out. On a positive note the bed was clean and comfortable. The hotel is in a very convenient location and I was able to walk to all the places I wanted to see.

• Michael (10/5): Love it would stay again! - Old world charm on the canal. If you like character and don’t care about fancy but comfortable and clean with history you will like this hotel. The rooms are very small but comfortable. The owners and staff are awesome and great hosts!
• Marcos Jose (5/5): Bad at arrival, good at leaving. - The attention of the two gentlemen (Mario and another one I never got the name) in the morning. Perhaps I should add the quick solution to the massive problem we had upon arrival - the room assigned to us was not cleaned after the last guests - but the problem was created by the hotel management. The room assigned to us was not cleaned after the last guests. We discovered it after going up narrow stairs with a large suitcase and it took time to get someone to answer the Emergency number. We were already looking for another hotel when the phone was answered in the 3rd or 4th try.

• Maroussia (7/5): Charme de l’ancien et emplacement top mais beaucoup trop froid pour séjourner une nuit de plus - L’emplacement était parfait, nous pouvions tout faire à pied. Le lit était confortable et l’hôtel transmets bien les informations par message donc tout était prêt avant que j’arrive La chambre d’hôtel était glacée, le radiateur ne marchait pas et l’isolation n’aide pas, heureusement une employée nous a donnée 1 couverture de plus mais il fallait dormir en pyjama ainsi qu’un sweat-shirt par dessus. L’eau de la douche était soit glacée au début soit bouillante car l’arrivée d’eau froide ne pouvait s’allumer. Et nous entendions les voisins d’à côté mais nous étions préparés à ce que ce soit comme cela. Nous avions pris des gel douche avec car j’avais lu dans les commentaires et cela nous a bien aidé.

• Hakan (7/5): Great location but it is so difficult to take a bath. - Great location. Staff was so friendly and kind! Toilet and bathroom was tooooo small!! I couldn’t pull my pants without opening the door and getting out. There is no elevator and the stairs are to narrow to carry big luggages. But it is a heritage building it is normal I guess.
• Nelli Tunde (8/5): Excellent location, nice little place, but the mold issue needs to be adressed - Small but comfortable. The hotel is at a great location, beds are comfy, hallways and rooms are clean. Luggage drop at arrival and check out worked out well. Definitely great value for money considering the location. While everything is nice and well cleaned, The mold situation in the bathroom should be addressed, it is unfortunately not a cleanliness issue anymore. The bathroom just smells of it and there is visible black mold all around the bathroom and unbearable humidity inside, which the loud ventilation does not seem to help at all. It is lucky that it does not linger out to the room. Therefore staying 3 days, while it was not pleasant we did not really bother but it seems to be a serious issue. Additionally it is true, walls are paper thin and you can hear everything from other rooms. This was not an issue for us, but if you are bothered by noises, this will not be a pleasant stay.

• Miriam (3/5): No lo recomiendo. - Excelente ubicación -Reservamos y Pagamos la habitación desde Julio y en ese mismo momento pedimos que por favor nos dieran una habitación en los primeros pisos porque una de las personas que viajaba era mayor y no podía subir las escaleras.........llegamos en octubre y nos dieron una habitación en la tercera planta..... -Instalaciones muy viejas. Y no es porque no se pueda remodelar porque la recepción si está moderna, simplemente no le han metido dinero a las habitaciones. - Baño sucio, alfombra de la habitación pegajosa, ventilación del baño pésima. En ese baño había que girar sobre tu propio eje para bañarte, un gordo no puede entrar.

Also the lobby & lobby bar were closed Sundays & Mondays so couldn’t even get a coffee in the mornings. They advertise the lobby bar that is beautiful but never open. Room was smal, tv didn’t work and the lighting in the bathroom was awful. Only met the staff on check-in and checkout.

When you are in Amsterdam you don't stay much in your hotel so it's was fine but ... Tv didn't work It's was a little cold and humid in the room (blanket too small for 2+ towel didn't dry during the night or the day) It's was clean but used (old furnitures rugs and sanitaries) Stairs for more than 4 floors so don't bring too heavy luggage ... Bring your soap and shampoo

Pas d'isolation phonique et des voisins très bruyants. Sèche cheveux moisi, installation électrique douteuse. L'emplacement, la jolie façade et le classement du bâtiment n'excuse pas la vétusté intérieure. On attend mieux pour 180 euros la nuit. La caution a l'entrée n'était pas précisée.

• ANASTASSIOS CONSTANTIN (6/5): - I am used to small European hotels and I generally like them for being “unique”, as opposed to the big chain hotels. I didn’t mind the lack of elevator or the steep, narrow staircases. However, certain things could and should be better. For example there was not a single electrical outlet in the room. After looking around for half hour, I found behind the curtain a short extension cord connected to an outlet in the ceiling. The bathroom was incredibly small with the toilet bowl almost touching the sink. There was minimal lighting and the main light fixture was hanging from the ceiling. The reception was open only a few hours in the morning and in the afternoon. Closed from Friday afternoon to Monday morning. It would have been useful if some of these details were included in the description of the hotel. Nevertheless, I did enjoy my stay. I hope the other rooms are better than the one I had.

Not a place you would want to spend any time in except for sleeping. Terrible value for the price. it would have been good to have breakfast service as there were no cafes in the vicinity which were open early.

Así mismo aunque hay televisión, no se pudo ver ningún canal durante la estancia , excusándose en que no es un problema del hotel(creo que ese problema o negligencia del hotel es duradero). Igualmente me cobraron 100 euros que dicen es en concepto de “depósito”, y eso no constaba en las condiciones que figuraban en la reserva(supuestamente se me devolverá)

• Limedandelion (8/5): Great Location but Small Rooms - I have mixed feelings about this hotel. Our basic room was extremely small—the bed took up most of the space, leaving little room for luggage. The bathroom was also cramped, with a curtain across the shower that let water spread across the floor. There is no elevator, and the stairs could be tricky if you have larger luggage. We also had noisy neighbors, though the owners (who were very kind) resolved the issue quickly. On the positive side, the location is excellent and the lobby area with food and drinks is very nice. Other rooms may be better than the one we stayed in.
