We asked to change the room, reception refused saying that they’re fully booked, but when I tried to book a room with the app there were several room suggestions. We asked to cancel the booking. I moved to another hotel. Waiting for the refund.
aaronsQ3273CX (10/5): What a hotel should be - I stayed here for four nights after a work trip to Yerevan. It is exactly what a luxury hotel should be. Amazing building, great bar, a nice chill lounge, good restaurant, and a fabtastic room with a strong, hot shower.. Bar is well stocked. Staff are friendly without being obsequious, quality is excellent without being excessive. Everything we needed, we got. Considering the price isn't that much more than any other hotel in Yerevan, it's an amazing deal. I will stay here everytime I visit yerevan in the future

The room was spacious, clean, and beautifully designed, with all the amenities I could need for a comfortable stay. The bed was incredibly cozy, and I slept like a dream. The hotel facilities were top-notch, especially the restaurant with its delicious food and excellent service. The location was perfect, close to major attractions but still peaceful and relaxing. This place truly exceeded my expectations, and I can’t wait to come back. Highly recommended for an unforgettable stay!
Ali_Nourian (8/5): 9/10 - I've been to this hotel several times; it's actually my favourite hotel in Yerevan. The location is perfect, two to five minutes away from North Avenue and Republic Square on foot. In fact, wherever you want to visit downtown is close enough. The hotel itself is very clean. Room sizes are reasonably big, and you'll have enough space. They have an incredible breakfast menu, especially the cakes, which are a work of art. Two minor issues as a regular customer: 1. It is unacceptable for a five-star hotel to charge for fresh orange juice at breakfast. 2. The bathroom shower set and cabin are somewhat old and need renovation. 9/10 in my opinion.

izabelphilippa (10/5): Perfect location and ambience - I visited for 4 nights with a friend.I would also recommend this hotel for couples or business trips. It’s perfectly located in the city centre at Charles Aznavour Square with a wonderful fountain view from most of the beautiful suites. The rooms are lovely and we stayed at the Kochar Grand Suite which was once a home to a famous Armenian artist. The service is great - the staff is super friendly. We enjoyed the spa and the rooftop pool as well. I could only recommend this place.
stevebintley (10/5): Perfect location and brilliant service - I had a short but very enjoyable weekend stay here and if you’re looking for a hotel with great service, perfect location and classic luxury then you’ll enjoy staying here. The staff arranged a very effective airport transfer for me and checking in was a welcoming and delightful experience, with the staff throughout the hotel speaking great English. Despite my very early arrival I was grateful they were able to find me a room, helped I assume by the fact the hotel seemed very quiet throughout my visit. There’s two lifts serving the accommodation floors, which are painfully slow, but the glass design overlooking the bar area detract from this, and the ‘day of the week’ carpet changed daily is a luxury touch you don’t often see anymore. My room was on the top floor and a standard category. It was a luxury feeling room and I really liked the clean decor. All the amenities you could imagine were present and it would be really comfortable even for an extended stay. Electric sockets were at both sides of the bed, plenty of lighting options and effective air conditioning which wasn’t too loud. It was also possible to open the window. There was a fully stocked mini bar as well as complimentary bottled water. The bathroom was small with a shower rather than bath, but it was perfectly clean and again had all the small touches you’d want from a top end hotel. Housekeeping proactively checked the do not disturb sign during the day and did a great job even late into the afternoon, although on one occasion the water bottles weren’t restocked. The lounge and bar area on the ground floor is spacious and comfortable, but best of all is open 24 hours a day. They offer food and a wide range of drinks, with the friendly staff able to make recommendations and engaging in good conversation. It was never very busy during my stay but it was still a pleasant place to relax late in the evening and a perfect spot to catch up with some work. I found the location ideal, just a few steps from some key sights and surrounded by lovely restaurants and bars. With the hotel reception able to offer advice or arrange any form of transport there’s no need to feel cut off! There’s quite a bit of art to admire throughout the hotel and small displays on each floor, including a shoe polishing machine outside the lift which is a good touch. Checking out in the very early hours was a seamless experience and next time I’m in the city I’ll certainly be staying here again!

rephTravels (8/5): A Very Good Choice for Yerevan - Grand Hotel Yerevan has a bit of faded glory feeling to it, given that this is a rather senior hotel. The location, however, is really quite good and is located a short walk from the beaten path, which allows it to be quiet and convenient simultaneously. The rooms are also quite comfortable, clean, and nice. On balance, I think this hotel is a very good choice for Yerevan, for business or pleasure. The breakfast was also quite good and I was generally pleased with the service.
checconen (10/5): Fine and exclusive - I spent three nights in Yerevan Grand Hotel. The hotel and the rooms are new and elegant. The service is very good and also the elegant bar has a wide menu with good products. The hotel is located in the beautiful Charles Aznavour square with a nive fountain.

However, our view was of an abandoned property and junkyard-like area, which didn’t give us a good feeling about our stay in this downtown area. The breakfast buffet was great with lots of options and pastries, plus we ordered an Armenian omelet, which was included. I recommend staying in this hotel overall.

The cleanliness, location convenience, high end service and amazing staff all make my stay wonderful each time I visit. I have brought guests from abroad who have all enjoyed staying at the hotel as well. The guest experience ambassador Syuzi Ayrumyan always makes sure that all my needs are taken care of and that I have an amazing time. The staff is very friendly and ready to provide any help. Breakfast is not very varied, but quite tasty. When private events are held in the inner “winter” garden, it feels as if the musicians are playing right in your room. Very loud and noisy.

Super nice that they lend out umbrellas. Nice redo on an old soviet building, ALL staff need to be more customer oriented. Cleaning staff were great. Surprisingly the Robert Cavalli Shampoo/conditioner/soap was especially top notch.

Breakfast was below the basics, mattress and pillows were not comfortable ,the whole Hotel smells like a department store with strong cheap air freshener . My new room was better but not good had broken shower door and some other stuff I took pictures The main hall by the piano had very dirty carpets. If you have been traveling for more than a few hours, Deep Tissue Thai massage (she was actually from Thailand) is not a choice. I think its your only choice. It was so good that after 60 minutes, I asked her to go for another 30 minutes: spa amenities are great as well... sauna jacuzzi, pool open on rooftop only when weather is forgiving. 3. Live classic piano and violin would resonate the bar area from 6 pm to around 10 pm: I badly needed that relaxing atmosphere from having a bad jet-lag... 4. Breakfast, lunch and dinner restaurant... great food with windows looking at the busy famous street Abovyan… really a cute place. 5. A lot of entertainment in walking distance... Tumanyan Khinkali House (half block), Martini Café for a quick bite or coffee (right next door to the hotel and dress to impress there as you will come across to local celebrities and show off LOL tourists), and my favorite boutique store for men one block away LaGalleria (Stefano ricci, D&G, Fendi, etc. etc. if you are up for some serious shopping). 6. There are so much more... I had a short three day stay and those are my experiences that I have enjoyed.

Verified traveler (10/5): Wonderful Stay! - We had a wonderful time. It’s a top class hotel with great service. Lovely standard and quality of the rooms. A lovely pool area with good sun exposure. There’s live piano in the lobby every day. It was great. They should improve the elevator doors though as they are slightly dangerous.
Kiair (10/5): Great location! - The hotel's location was great but it comes with the price of a noisy street at night. Armenians hang out hard into the wee hour of the morning! It's very clean and the staff were super helpful and friendly! Next time I'd request for a room away from the street.
Ivy (10/5): Perfect Location and Great Service - I was really happy that I chose this hotel! The location absolutely couldn’t be better! I could walk everywhere and as a single woman felt safe walking at night. It’s in the heart of it all, and just a few minutes from the big sites. I loved the rooftop pool (rare at hotels in Eastern Europe and the Caucasus), although I thought the rule that you couldn’t have water bottles or beverages in lounge chairs was weird. The service of the reception was great— they were welcoming and did a great job arranging transportation for us and even answering questions via email. I loved the breakfast as well— the only thing was there was too many things I wanted and I couldn’t eat them all. The space for the breakfast was nice as well. The air conditioning worked well in the room, but I also loved the balcony over the street (again, very uncommon in Eastern European/Caucasus hotels). Also loved that each room had its own (strong) WiFi, and that the other parts of the hotel had WiFi as well.
Todd (10/5): Heavenly experience - Was dangerously jet lagged from my trip from Los Angeles and not sleeping with insomnia. Felt like walking into heaven and being treated by family. They are dedicated to your peace and comfort. The Italian restaurant was artful and bar lounge was a mystical place for gathering. Secret gem. You must try their spa! In one part of the spa experience I had a vision of hold hands and walking on the beach with my recently departed mother.
Verified traveler (10/5): Excellent location - This is the spot you want to be in when visiting Armenia. Located in the city square, you can easily hit all the main spots on foot. Get in a car and hit sights on the outskirts with ease. The hotel was excellent and boutique in nature. Decent breakfast buffet. As clean a hotel as you can find anywhere.
Narine (10/5): Perfectly located, with wonderful dedicated staff - Wonderful hotel all around, with great staff who catered to our needs. Very happy; will be back! P.S. For summer visitors: there is a pool, kids loved it.
