- Ninflin (6/5): Up its own behind - Well location it’s perfect but there’s are other hotels in the area better priced with the same location, we arrived at around 1pm got told the room wasn’t ready, fair enough but during our three day stay others arrived earlier with kids and cases and larger groups and all checked into room ahead of the 3pm. We went to the roof terrace to wait for our room … photos make it look a lot better, floor slabs uneven service poor …. Asked for hot water convinced it was from the hot tap, ice coffee 6 cubes of ice and a cup of black espresso . Not good and they wanted to charge me for the privilege of this mess. Breakfast if you like a cooked breakfast stone cold and a toaster that pretends to toast this is your kind of breakfast… cold buffet was good rest very poor. Two days the roof terrace was shut because no staff, the main entrance door was broken and the young receptionist short red nails face of importance who thought she was really posh shouted at my daughter because of her faulty door and my daughter not holding the handle great reception skills …. Get the door fixed ASAP or restrict access… room was ok but tight on the coffee and milk, mini bar scam as usual… no bottled water and when we arrived and asked for a cup I got told I could have my tea out of a glass provided … thank you so much for that outstanding hospitality. The only good thing about this hotel is Cuban the barman he is normal nice friendly and helpful in the non atmospheric Midmost hotel the rest are either poor attitudes or sitting on phones in rooms like the cleaner. Pretending to clean legs dropped over the chair …. Get the hallway carpet cleaned. An over priced experience …. Should have stayed at the Radisson this hotel was stunning when we went for lunch .
- C_W_J_Smart (10/5): Return Visit: Just as great as the first time - We had stayed at Hotel Midmost on a previous visit to Barcelona and had a great visit, it was the obvious choice to stay there again. It is a wonderful boutique hotel in a great location. The rooms are well appointed; however, a bit on the small size, not really an issue, but be aware. The staff are all very friendly and helpful. The location is a quick walk to the metro, and short stroll to La Rambla; it is close enough to be easy to access, but far enough not to be too noisy or busy at night. There is a nice shopping plaza about a 15 minute walk away. There are small shops and food outlets close by. The star of the show is the breakfast buffet available in the mornings; a wide selection of options is available.
- shaikhaa377 (2/5): ⭐️ (1/5) – Unacceptable Attitude from Front Desk Staff - Unfortunately, our stay was negatively affected by a very poor and unprofessional front desk experience with a staff member named Maelenn, in addition to unresolved room issues. We left the room at 1:30 PM with the “Please clean the room” sign clearly placed. When we returned, the room was not cleaned, and the sign had been changed to “Do Not Disturb” without our knowledge. At reception, Maelenn first said housekeeping could come shortly, then after making us wait over 30 minutes, she claimed “no cleaning today”, as if we had already been informed — which is not true. Her attitude was extremely bad: dismissive, mocking, and defensive. She laughed while we were explaining the issue and insisted staff could not have touched the sign, instead of apologizing or offering any solution. On top of that, the bathroom ventilation fan does not work, causing very high humidity, and we noticed insects in the bathroom, which makes the lack of cleaning even more unacceptable. There was no apology, no effort to help, and no basic respect shown. A simple issue was made far worse due to her unprofessional behavior and poor customer service.

- Trip06000161232 (10/5): It’s a wonderful hotel! - It’s a wonderful hotel! The location is perfect for exploring the city, and we were able to see Barcelona very efficiently. All the staff were extremely kind and welcoming. The breakfast was very delicious. The room was clean, comfortable, and tidied up every day. Coming back to the hotel felt just like returning home. We were deeply touched by the surprise they prepared for my son’s birthday. Thanks to this hotel, our trip was truly amazing. Thank you so much! 素晴らしいホテルです！街歩きに最高のロケーションで、とても効率よくバルセロナを観光できました。スタッフみなさんはとても親切で温かくもてなしてくれます。朝食は最高！お部屋は清潔で心地よく、毎日整えてくれます。ホテルに戻ると自宅に帰ってきたかのようにホッとできました。息子の誕生日にサプライズしてくれて感激です！こちらのホテルのお陰で最高の旅行となりました。ありがとうございました。
- O1781GQaaronb (10/5): Beyond my expectations!!!! - As soon as we walked into this hotel we were greeted by the AMAZING staff!! You couldn’t get a better location in Barcelona. The rooms were very comfortable and traditional. We also had a room with a balcony. I like my 5 star hotels but definitely would return to this hotel again!!

Check the size of the room you wish to be in as some are quiet small rooms. It has a lift so it was accessible. A very small step at the front when entering. Lots of breakfast options in close proximity.

- magnwn (10/5): Amazing. - The hotel is perfectly located to enjoy the city. It’s a lovely classical design hotel outside and ‘boutique’ style interior. A open foyer, marble staircase such a welcome. We were greeted by a lovely lady lady that helped with our check in, information about the hotel & history of it, the city, etc. We had a lovely room, beautifully bed, pillows and laid out wonderfully. A coffee machine, bottles of mineral water, snacks, etc. I could go on! Bathroom spot less, dressing gown, slippers. Mini bar, etc. The roof terrace is amazing, sun beds, an infinity pool, a bar and seating area to eat. The pizzas are fantastic, service brilliant and all over looking the city! The library down in the basement - where breakfast is also served, is light open and peaceful, a lovely setting. The breakfast is wonderful, great choice and quality, loved it. Cannot fault the hotel and the staff are so helpful. Ideal for a city break. Thank you all.

- michael (10/5): - I Like the atmosphere of the property, decor, the stainless steel small pool on the roof, the lounge chairs there. The Staff were all very nice. I was dissapointed in the small refrigerator in the room which absolutely didn't cool AT ALL. They need to replace them. I stayed here last year and it was the same. This is not an expenisve fix and makes me perhaps reconsider staying there again.

The bed and pillows were also very comfortable, a big plus! The common spaces were simply WOW. The rooftop with its bar, sun loungers and pool is stunning; a great spot to unwind away from the city. I would definitely recommend this hotel!

The only thing that could be improved on is the the hotel needed a bit of maintenance here and there, small things really - the shower riser adjuster was broken and in the second room we had booked the toilet seat was loose. Would still recommend overall.
- Adrian (10/5): A great choice for a Barcelona City break - A four night stay, room was a good size and comfortable. I personally found the bedding a bit hard, but I like a softer mattress. Breakfast was good and consistent allowing us to fill up for a day of sightseeing. Room was clean and tidied every day. Air conditioning was quiet and worked well. The hotel itself is well positioned, being very close to las ramblas. Our room was on the first floor and we had no noise problems. It's close to the metro and the main tour bus stops at place de catalunya.it is also ideal if you are keen to walk with the gothic quarter very nearby. The Sagrada Familia is a 45 minute walk, but it's very flat and an enjoyable trek through friendly neighbourhoods. The *pool" is small, but we went to the terrace on the roof a couple of times and used the pool to cool down. I would definitely recommend this hotel, especially for couples.

- hanno8686 (2/5): Disapointing - Unfortunately, my stay at this hotel was very disappointing. The rooms are extremely small—even the suite did not match the photos shown online. The staff were unhelpful, unwelcoming, and completely lacked the attitude of hospitality. They were not willing to solve any issues and did nothing to ease guest frustration. Housekeeping is supposedly “upon request,” but despite placing the housekeeping tag on my door, no one cleaned the room. When I asked, they simply said I should’ve requested it again, which makes no sense. On top of that, there’s no luggage assistance—something that should be basic at this level of hotel. I would absolutely not recommend this hotel. It does not reflect the quality or service standards it claims to offer.
- ewtbml (6/5): Centrally located hotel - The room was nice if a little worn in places We had to ask for the bathroom to be cleaned twice on arrival as the floor and shower had dirty foot prints on it. It had a little terrace which was a bit grotty and not cleaned whilst we stayed there. There was cigarette ash and nail clippings all over it. They was no bottle of fizz in our room which I pre-paid and then they wanted to charge me for it at again at the end. There were plenty of toiletries in the room. I did like the roof terrace and the bar where the staff were very helpful and beer was good. The reception staff were very pleasant and helpful. The young lady was always singing and smiling Breakfast was not 4 star quite limited and bland. Some decent croissants wouldn't go a miss. The coffee was good though

The location is great, we visited all the places on foot. The girl at the front desk is wonderful and always happy to answer questions and chat. Even patient while I tried to speak in my Spanish (which I haven't used in almost 9 years) Rooms are great and very clean. And there is everything you need to feel good :)

- 187elodiel (2/5): Moldy room and not worth the price - We visited in June 2024. The bathroom was covered by black mold (picture), and the swimming pool was simply an oversized bathtub. We feel that the quality of accommodation provided was far below the standard we anticipated and could have been found at a much cheaper hotel in the neighborhood.

I loved the small touches in the room, it felt like a true 4 star, which can be rare in Barcelona. The place looks just like the ohotos. I didn't get the name of the person who checked me in but she was kind, efficient, and gave me such great information. The bar tender on the rooftop was also great. I only have good things to say. Would definitely return. Transit is at your door step or a few steps away, including transport directly to the airport for 7€. Many great food options and shopping nearby. Can walk to many tourist attractions too.

I personally love swimming and found the pool too little and would have liked a bigger pool. The aircon was super cold too but you can make adjustments yourself. I would recommend the property. The hotel staff were friendly and helpful, the hotel was secure and safe and had the added attraction of a small but much needed pool on the roof .
- Adam (10/5): - Just Perfect! We had an amazing stay at Hotel Midmost in July 2024 (2 Adults and a Child of 10). Everything was fantastic from the high standard and luxuriousness of our junior suite to the superb breakfast and the roof top bar and pool. We all enjoyed a nice cold drink and a dip in the pool after a busy day of sightseeing with great views whilst doing so too from the hotel rooftop terrace. Staff were friendly and helpful and the location is right in the centre of the city making top attractions and great restaurants all within walking distance. We would definitely stay here again and were sad to go home!

Couldn’t fault a thing, warm welcome and our bags stored and then taken to room once available leaving us free to enjoy our first day. The room itself was inland facing but lovely and quiet, spotlessly clean with thick robes and slippers provided. We also had 2 complimentary glasses of cava relaxing in the small rooftop pool along with a couple of other cocktails which were very reasonably priced! Wouldn’t hesitate to recommend and would definitely stay again!

- Julian (4/5): Disappointing to the point of not going again. - Unfortunately I can’t share a good review. The most uncomfortable bed. Terrible cheap mattress to the point you could almost feel the springs and definitely hear them. Also very uncomfortable pillows. Sorry, for a $350 night I expected a decent bed. This was far below. Also the shower floor was “dirty” stained and bad looking. Invest a minimum and get it properly cleaned or replaced. And very thin walls. One could hear everything, room above when flushing the toilet or shower, when people would walk by the hallway or go up and down the stairs. Sorry but not good for this price at all. And on top the main elevator was out of order. Not staying there again nor recommending it.
- Rebecca (10/5): Lovely hotel and convenient location - Amazing hotel. Central, quiet, clean, comfortable, and very professional and friendly staff. The pool is tiny- more like a sitting pool than a swimming pool but honestly that was a blessing for having my 2.5 year old with me! Breakfast was great. The main elevator broke but the staff let us use the staff elevator in the mean time. So lovely and I would definitely stay again!

We felt the staff was friendly enough, but from all the other reviews, we had expected a little more helpfulness, when we asked questions and needed assistance we were made to feel like we were being a bother, and never got direct answers. The overall cleanliness could use some work, an issue we took up directly with the hotel. The luggage storage was very convenient for us as we arrived at 9 AM and our room wasn’t ready Until 2 PM. The highlight for us was the breakfast, great variety, everything tasted fresh!
- Chloe98876 (2/5): SHAME ON YOU MIDMOST HOTEL!!! - My boyfriend got punched in the face by a stranger nearby while we were walking back from dinner. As soon as we arrived I asked immediately for help to the staff who was working the nightshift. I asked for ice and he completely dismissed us saying he didn’t have access to the bar and said to try to find an open shop!!! He didn’t even ask if my boyfriend was ok or what happened. I’ve never been attacked in my life and was utterly shocked by the complete lack of care and help to help my boyfriend from a random attack. SHAME ON YOU MIDMOST!!

- JumboJetJohnny (8/5): Great Boutique Hotel in a fabulous location. - Great boutique hotel in a fabulous location. We took a junior suite and had plenty of room, with seperate bath / shower and toilet & washroom. Our corner suite also had 3 balconies with views over two streets and there is access to a rooftop bar & patio area with a plunge pool and sun beds. The Midmost also serves a generous buffet breakfast in the basement and we found all the staff friendly & helpful. The hotel is a 5 min walk from La Ramblas, 10 mins from the Boqueria Market and 15-20mins from the Gothic quarter. The hotel is also close to Dreta de L’Eixample district with its numerous shops, restaurants and malls.
- Tod (8/5): - Great location with the Ramblas within walking distance. We had a room on 4th floor overlooking busy street, but when the balcony doors were closed the room was surprisingly quiet. Breakfast buffet was excellent- just as good as one would get at a larger, more expensive hotel.

The hotel has 24 hour door service and we felt very safe here. It is a good value to price for a 4 star hotel,not many frills but good clean bathrooms and nice towels. Beds were ok also.

- nutty267 (10/5): Wonderful city break - Not far from the Airport, Midmost represents everything needed for a short city break in Barcelona. A boutique hotel with friendly reception staff, clean rooms with a good size en suite bathroom, close to the Metro for ease of travel around all the landmarks, shops, restaurants,bars and bakeries. Check in and out was seamless. Roof top bar was a nice addition and I’m sure the small pool would be welcome in the heat of the summer after a long day exploring. We will be back.

Lovely comfortable bed & great big bathroom, air-con is much needed & works well. My only complaint would be that we didn’t get anymore teabags or small water for the room from the chamber maids. The location is fantastic for exploring the city, the breakfast was varied and tasty. We were impressed with the blackout curtains in the rooms allowing lazy mornings and a very comfortable bed! You wouldn't know the hotel is next to the road as it is well soundproofed too. All in all a great stay we hope to return.
