- amylA7313UD (2/5): Unprofessional – Hotel Closed With No Notice - We booked this hotel directly through their official website in August for two stays during our Thailand trip (Nov 1–3 and Nov 9–11). After a 13-hour flight, we took an hour-long Grab ride to the property, only to find the entire hotel closed, driveway blocked, and a security guard showing us a printed notice on a clipboard stating the hotel closed September 8 for renovations and rebranding. Even our driver was shocked and confused. This hotel never sent us a single email, message, or notification that they were shutting down for renovations. So they closed after we booked, never informed their paying guests, took our money, and simply expected people to show up to a locked gate? To make it worse, a lady from inside the building came out and told us to “try Booking.com for a refund,” even though we booked directly with them. Completely irresponsible and unprofessional. Because of their incompetence, we were stranded in the rain with our suitcases, walking to five different hotels, all fully booked and left scrambling to find last-minute accommodations during Thailand's peak season. We emailed the hotel immediately that day to request refund for both of our reservations. They didn’t reply until November 11, the very end of our trip. Their response? A copy-and-paste email starting with “Dear Valued Guests, warm greetings…” followed by a long paragraph thanking us for our “continued trust and support” and saying the hotel had been closed since September for renovations. THE SAME NOTICE THE SECURITY GUARD HAD US READ. No explanation for why they never notified upcoming reservations. No responsibility taken. No urgency. And now that everyone is posting Google reviews about their recent experiences, they have since turned off their posting! Shocking! This was hands down one of the most unprofessional, inconsiderate, and poorly managed hotel experiences I’ve ever encountered. Even if they reopen under new management or a new name, I would avoid this place at all costs. Seek accommodations at the Holiday Inn if you’re staying in Sukhumvit area. They took us in right away.
- Tourist101_AU (2/5): Terrible, nil communications, no refund - they're happy to leave booked customers in the lurch - I booked in late July 2025 - and paid in-full - for a mid-Sept 2025 4-night stay. On 8 Sept 2025, I received an email saying the hotel was rebranding but "You don’t need to do anything... Everything about your booking and the address of the property remains the same". This was untrue, as I discovered on arrival. Given the above email, we arrived assuming the hotel was open - but it wasnt - see pics. This left us stranded at 10pm at night having to pay extra for a late booking elsewhere. The owners obviously dont have much concern for customer experience. We were left in the lurch, financially and logistically. I would avoid this hotel at all costs. A considerate hotel would have emailed customers saying the hotel was closed and refund us beforehand - so we could book elsewhere. But they didn't have the decency to do this. We have never even been contacted by the hotel afterward and never received a refund from them or any compensation. Booking.com did refund us however. It is not clear why the hotel failed to respond to multiple web chat and email enquiries, before and after arrival. Why couldn't they even respond? Very very disappointed. AVOID.
- Amonrat (2/5): - I didn't really want to rate this place 1 star. Unfortunately, it was like a situation that I wish no one would experience. Disclaimer: I received a full refund from Expedia and some compensation. We arrived on September 15th at midnight and are hoping to check in (check-in counter is open 24 hrs. as per the reservation details) and are very excited about this place plus I was extremely exhausted from a 23 hrs. long flight. In front of the hotel was so dark and didn't have any light and no signs..We thought we went to the wrong place. I spotted 2 people who I assumed to be security guards sitting in the dark in front of the door.. I showed them my booking for 4 days 3 nights with a prepaid amount.. One of them said..ohh! this place is not open for anyone to stay in, it is temporarily closed and under renovation..I was shocked and asked when the renovation happened.. They said a week ago, I booked this place a month before my arrival date and there was no one ever contacted me to let me know about this situation or to prepare me to book a new place to stay, I was so disappointed, exhausted, and at that time it was very difficult to find a new place to stay for 4 of us This review is neither for a discredit of the hotel nor Expedia, However, this review is for travelers who book a place (any place) in advance, pls save yourself from a situation like this, call them to make sure that your room is ready to stay in, and that the hotel exists.. Don't be like me :(

The food is good there is a 24 hours professional spa with a nice swimming pool. In sukhamvit area this is such a real deal.

When I checked in the young kid on reception insisted that I pay extra for my wife as their rules state you pay per person! Be careful of this. I got my money back the next morning after escalating to the manager who was off when I checked in. In addition, our shower was broken, as was the toilet. The rooms are tired looking. There are plenty other better options nearby, even if you pay a little extra, it is worth it.

- Gabriella (8/5): - This hotel is in the center of many things and a quick walk to the BTS or Metro. I found it very central and with the Em District around the corner, there was incredible shopping and food at an arm's length. Traffic is a lot in Bangkok and many destinations are 30-1 hr in cab so just keep that in mind, but the BTS being nearby makes it all the more convenient. Lovely staff at check-in. My only complaint was it's a very big, conference feeling like hotel and they were doing construction in the room next to me during the day and didn't warn me. My stop in Bangkok was to catch up on sleep after a long trip and flying again to Phuket. So would've liked for them to be mindful of that.

- myto17 (10/5): Convenient and Comfortable - We stayed in the Deluxe Twin as we were a family of 4 (5yo and 10yo). Children stay free if they use existing bedding so we let our eldest sleep on the sofa and we brought a blanket with us. Room: Plenty of space for all 4 of us including our 8 suitcases. Bathroom is a bit dated however we only used it for freshening up and it did it's purpose. Aircon worked well and shower was powerful. Smart TV in the room so the kids could watch their own netflix shows. Mini fridge came with a little freezer compartment. Hotel: The pool was lovely, towards the afternoon, around 4pm it was shaded so the kids could play without having to worry about getting sunburnt. Plenty of loungers and was never crowded, pool towels were supplied. Breakfast was next to the pool and was OK. This kids found something to eat so that's all that mattered. The lobby had vending machines and are self service. Reception and door staff are attentive and helpful. Location: Super convenient, just off the main road for access to the BTS (Sky train). Also opposite the main road is EmSphere shopping mall with a food court and grocers. A 24hr coin operated washer and dryer only a few mins walk away. We used this throughout our stay. Plenty of convenience stores, hair and massage parlors line the streets. The hotel isn't perfect but for the price we paid compared to what other hotels were charging, we did not mind this. Overall we enjoyed this hotel and the kids were sad to leave. Will book again if we ever visit Bangkok in the future.

The porter (i believe Todsapron?-early afternoon shift) was also very helpful with luggage, questions, and getting taxis. great location and a fantastic price. larger sized room for the area. rooms could use a refresh, but hard to beat the value. would stay again.

- Wipapond (10/5): - We often stay in Lotus while visiting Bangkok. Great location and price typically is hard to beat for this level of hotel. They've been slowly upgrading, but it is still showing it's age. Good size rooms and we often get upgraded to higher level rooms. Good size pool where can swim laps. One thing I wish they do more regularly is to clean room windows on the outside. Hotel has beautiful views of the city, but durty windows are distracting.
