Wir hatten kein Ticket für Straßenbahn etc. gebraucht. Alles gut zu Fuß zu erreichen. Das Frühstück war sehr gut, alles da was man braucht. Und vor allem sehr nettes und zuvorkommendes Personal! ./.
• Frank (10/5): Hätte nicht besser sein können - Zunächst einmal ist die Lage herausragend - direkt an der Moldau/Karlsbrücke. Daher kurze Wege in die Altstadt oder auch zur Prager Burg. Das Zimmer war phänomenal: Größe des Zimmers, Aussicht auf Moldau, bequeme Betten etc. Das Frühstück war gut. Beim nächsten Besuch Prags ist das Archibald wieder unsere erste Wahl. ./.

• Mindaugas (7/5): Overall - good located, easy accessible, but please pay a bit more attention on food variety. - Very good located - almost city center, just a minute away from Charles bridge. Travel from airport to hotel with public transportation - good, however last few hundred meters you will need to go over small paving tiles, which is a bit inconvenient with heavy luggage's. Very clean, rooms. Quiet at night, next to doors there are couple of local restaurants. Very first day had a conflict with receptionist, concerning additional city fee. Just wanted to clear why, and informed, that we already pay with booking, but she did not hear and ordered to pay asap. Although we were not right, but attitude to customer I would say rather unpleasant. The name of person is Ksenia. Breakfast from day to day is the same all time long. Very basic, very standard, even lack of fruits, from my point of view. Variety of cheeses, scrambled eggs, sausages, boiled eggs. Missed porridge :) From good side on food - they have policy called "day time brunch" - starting I guess 12:00 you can get soup and prepared sandwiches, coffee free of charge. The furniture in room is a bit strange - old from one hand, but it does not look fancy of very convenient - just very old. The bed itself - very convenient.

• Antony (7/5): Overall pretty good. - 1st of all this property wins on location. 2nd the room was a good size and we did not feel like we were ontop of each other. Breakfast was adequate....But..they need to improve on the layout and coffee / tea facilities (not up tp scratch). As mentioned above the coffee and tea facilities were sub standard. Now - What I dont like is surely / moody / lack of communication skill in reception staff - the chap who booked me in was ok - But the young woman on the day we checked out - well words fail me (actually they dont but I cant be rude) she lacked all of the above.

• Pharmacister (10/5): Perfect location, stunning view - We stayed at the Archibald only 2 nights, but I would definitely return. The location is perfect, right at the foot of the Charles bridge. The room was bright and spacious with a gorgeous view of the Vltava river. The breakfast buffet was very good. What we really appreciated was the brunch served in the afternoon. After walking all day it was nice to have a hot bowl of soup. I would highly recommend this hotel.

La nostra camera era grande e pulita, con vista sulla Moldava e sul ponte. La colazione molto buona (ovviamente con scelte salate predominanti, ma le opzioni dolci erano decisamente appetitose). Ottima struttura! Credo che sia un modo di essere (perché trovato anche in diversi locali in giro per la città) della gran parte della popolazione che non appare particolarmente aperta e socievole.

• Sylvie (8/5): Heel fijn hotel op een goede locatie nabij een park en Charles bridge, prima voor bezoek aan Praag! - De kamer was goed ruim, er was airco maar ook een ouderwetse plafond ventilator. Het uitzicht over de rivier was prachtig. De badkamer was prima. Het ontbijt was hier de grote tegenvaller, erg gericht op Engelse gasten, weinig echt verse producten.

Perfect location, riverside, just off the steps down from the Charles Bridge ( Lesser Town side), Brilliant views from our room, great breakfast, spotlessly clean, top customer service. Zur Prager Burg fährt die Straßenbahn 22. Das Frühstücksbuffet hat noch Luft nach oben. Wir hatten leider ein ebenerdiges Zimmer an einem Parkplatz erhalten. Da wir mit offenem Fenster schlafen, war das nicht so optimal. Man bot uns einen Umzug für den kommenden Tag an.

• Marcin (7/5): Good conditions but unhelpful staff - The location was excellent. Breakfasts were good. The room was clean. I requested to be able to sit in the dining hall after its opening hours for 1 hour, since I had a really important online meeting, needed a place to focus and it was the last day of my stay. Unfortunately the manager refused to let me inside. I did not understand and was disappointed by this inflexibility. Also the staff replies to the Booking message after a few days only.

• Reinhard2509 (9/5): - Sehr schönes älteres Hotel in guter Lage (direkt an der Moldau). Ruhig gelegen in einer Seitengasse zur Karlsbrücke. Geräumiges Zimmer und annehmliches Badezimmer. Sehr umfangreiches Frühstücksbuffet in angenehmer Atmosphäre. Gutes Preis-/Leistungsverhältnis.
• Courtney (6/5): Location was great but the rooms were so-so. - Great location. A stone’s throw from the Charles Bridge and across the road from several restaurants. Easy walking distance to many of Prague’s must-sees. The rooms were small and rather shabby. The cleaning folks spray some type of disinfectant in the hallways and rooms. So much that we had to leave the window and door open throughout the night to air it out. It was ghastly. The shower has no water pressure and you have to be an acrobat to get in the thing. The sides are rather tall.

O café da manhã aos finais de semana são fantásticos mas durante a semana decaiu, como cheguei sábado e fui embora quarta pude contatar isso.

• Marta (5/5): Expected more from a hotel with ratings this high. - The beds were comfortable. The second room we were moved into was pretty nice. And the location is good. The walls and floors are made of paper, so it was super noisy. We were at first on the second floor and had a family above us. From 5:30am they were up and about and sounded like construction above us. The second night we were moved to 4th (top floor) and heard our neighbors alarm go off at 4;30am. The breakfast wasn’t great either. Just barely passable. Overly salted eggs, sausages and beans and ran out of plain yogurt after our first night, so was forced to eat the other gross items. The hotel is in need of an update especially our first room on the second floor and main area/lobby. How this hotel is this highly rated is a bit of a mystery to me. Expected much more. The shower was also so small, my husband who is 6’2” couldn’t stand straight up, but had to crouch to fit. It’s not bad, but faaaaaar from good or great.

• Susan (10/5): A Delightful Hotel in a Very Beautiful City - The Archibald at the Charles Bridge is close walking distance to everything. There are little cafes around the campe that have little terraces out back along the e river. The rooms are comfortable and the breakfast tics all the boxes. We had no complaints and would stay here again. Jana, at the front desk, taught us some simple words in Czech and we need to come back to practice.
• Mirihilover (10/5): Great Location for everything Prague - This hotel is in a perfect location right next to Charles Bridge and a 5 min walk from the Metro/trams. Next to Kmpa park it is in a lovely quiet square with pubs and restaurants nearby. Lovely traditional hotel with simple decor - white and wood. The room was spacious and the bathroom had toiletries and hair dryer. There was tea and coffee provided. Mattresses were a little firm for me and I prefer firm. I put the comforter under the sheet and this worked fine. Breakfast had a range of options all from the buffet. There was also an unexpected free lunch of soup and sandwich which was simple but tasty. Really welcome on our first day while we settled in and got the feel of the place. Staff really helpful and friendly and luggage store was helpful as we arrived early and left late. Highly recommend this hotel. You won’t be disappointed.

Am primit o camera mare si cu o vedere superba, la Vltava si Podul Carol, care intr-adevar arata impresionant. Micul dejun a fost foarte bun si diversificat. Existau si optiuni sanatoase, iaurt, seminte, multe fructe. Pe langa cafea si suc, au si multe sortimente de ceai. Totul a fost foarte bine, nu am avut nemultumiri.

• Marta (9/5): A ne pas manquer !!!! - Emplacement idéal. Alors que l’hôtel est au pied du pont Charles, il est silencieux. Nous avons très bien dormi. Le petit-déjeuner était bon et nous avions vraiment le choix. Tout était propre. Je n’ai absolument aucun point négatif sauf peut-être qu’il manquait un peu le sourire du personnel.
• Marijke (9/5): Zou iedereen die Praag wil bezoeken dit hotel aanraden. Makkekijk te bereiken ook vanaf het vliegveld met openbaar vervo - Heerlijke locatie aan dit mooie pleintje. Voelde als een klein dorp naast de drukke Karelsbrug.
• Pascale (10/5): - Emplacement de l'hotel excellent ! tout peut se faire à pied, des restos à proximité, un excellent petit déjeuner, un séjour parfait dans cet établissement pour découvrir Prague !
