• THERESE (10/5): - The twin room was bigger so we had more space. Filling breakfast. Unlimited coffee and hot chocolate. Location was perfect - just across Gare du Nord. Laundrette was only short walk. Restaurants everywhere. Cleaning can be tweaked a bit - the cleaner left a rag in the room. (However, everything was cleaned very well!)
• Tetiana (8/5): A perfect place for one night before catching an early train from Gare du Nord - It’s facing Gare du Nord, so perfect location if you need to catch an early train. But that being said it’s still Gare du Nord, so it’s pretty crowded and noisy at any time of the day or night. The room was really clean. The property was Ok. Some minor moments: - hair conditioner was hanging next to the wash basin, and hand lotion in a shower cabin, so a question was were the packages mixed up or the products inside them, - smart TV is not connected to the Internet, so you cannot use your apps like Netflix or others to watch on this TV.

• charbelassaff (2/5): Definitely a skip! - I stayed at Timhotel Gare du Nord for the weekend. Honestly, I didn’t like this hotel at all, but I didn’t have many other booking options. Yes, the location is convenient since it’s right in front of Gare du Nord, but the area itself is crowded, dirty, and doesn’t feel safe. The lobby is basically non-existent. I don’t even know if you can call it a lobby—two people can barely stand next to each other. Everything feels extremely tight and uncomfortable. The elevator is honestly a joke: it fits 1–2 people максимум, it’s cramped and shaky, and going up and down with luggage becomes a nightmare. Expect to make multiple trips. The room was small but fine—it had what we needed. The only decent point is that the price is relatively affordable. Now the real issue: the staff. I don’t want to be rude, but the level of professionalism is very questionable. Communication in both French and English is poor, and one staff member in particular was extremely unprofessional. Our luggage didn’t arrive with us and was supposed to be delivered to the hotel from the airport. I called reception from my phone while I was out to check if it had arrived. The guy said yes—but then immediately started talking and sharing details without even asking who was on the phone. That’s completely unacceptable. You don’t just give out guest information without verifying identity. It honestly made me feel like my information wasn’t safe at all—like anyone could call and get details. Very disappointing. The breakfast is another joke. Very small, very limited—basically a tray with some cheese, jam, and a few basics. Definitely not worth the money when you can pay the same elsewhere and have a proper, even “gastronomic” breakfast. On top of that, the breakfast area is literally attached to the front desk. The reception, luggage space, “lobby,” and breakfast are all squeezed into what feels like 10 m². It’s just ridiculous. Overall, I was very disappointed and I would definitely not come back.

• llllamine (1/5): Bon accueil, mais problème d’hygiène très grave - L’accueil à la réception était bon, avec un réceptionniste très gentil et professionnel. La chambre paraissait correcte au premier abord et la vue sur Gare du Nord était appréciable. Le plus grave a été un problème d’hygiène inacceptable. Nous avions laissé dans la chambre des gâteaux achetés au Ritz, dans leurs boîtes, pour le lendemain matin. Au réveil, les boîtes étaient remplies de fourmis. Cela a complètement gâché l’expérience. J’ai contacté l’hôtel par mail ainsi que via Booking pour signaler la situation. On m’a proposé un remboursement de 50 % du montant de la nuit, que je n’ai toujours pas reçu à ce jour, alors que j’ai demandé un remboursement total vu la gravité du problème. Très décevant, surtout pour la gestion de la réclamation.

• Midlandsgirl187050 (10/5): Great for a short break - This was perfect for what I needed as a base for three nights in Paris. As a woman travelling solo I wanted somewhere I could find easily from the Gare Du Nord and without having to navigate lots of side streets. I felt extremely safe there and staff were all welcoming. My room was clean and modern with most plug sockets having USB charging ports, a kettle was included along with coffee/tea/biscuits too and there was free WIFI throughout the hotel. My windows opened into a courtyard - not much of a view but was very quiet and there was a smell of croissant each morning. Body moisturiser was included in the bathroom along with conditioner (but not shampoo) along with a hairdryer.

De locatie is ook een groot pluspunt. Ondanks de nabijheid van Gare du nord geen hinder ondervonden van omgevingslawaai. Een aanrader! De badkamer was wat klein voor iemand, zoals mijn zoon en mezelf, die zich moet inwrijven. En het tapijt zorgde voor reactie bij mijn zoon met huisstofmijtallergie.

Rummet var inte städat och klart efter vi checkat in och kom med våra väskor till rummet . Efter en ganska lång diskussion fick vi gå ner till lobby igen och vänta 30-40 minuter ytterligare. Men personalen var ändå trevliga och bjöd på kaffe.

The front desk workers were very friendly and helpful. They he breakfast was decent. The baggage storage was also ideal and very helpful while we wandered around waiting for our train departure. The property felt safe, the concierge was available 24/7. The noises from the elevator doors open in and closing during cleaning was very loud and disruptive. There wasn’t a mini fridge and because there was not phone to contact the front desk, the service was less than ideal.

• THERESE (9/5): Great customer service and value for money. - Our room was ready before the official check in time. Location was right across Gare du Nord. Excellent, friendly but very professional service. The room wasn’t cleaned even when I put the “please clean” sign outside the door. However, the hotel manager more than made up for it. He gave us the necessary toiletries and gave us free breakfast. They also made sure it was cleaned the next day. Many thanks.

• Anthony (9/5): A really pleasant surprise - The location was perfect for our overnight stay, having arrived on a late Eurostar from London. Our check-in was friendly and efficient. The room was quite spacious and very well designed. The hotel decor was pleasing. There was almost no noise from the station concourse. The breakfast was overpriced so we ate in one of the nearby brasseries.
• Q8640QUkateh (10/5): Book this hotel for convenience and affordable quality! - The location of this hotel is perfect! Literally 67 paces from the front door to the entry of Gare du Nord! Staff were lovely, and the hotel was immaculately clean. Beds were comfy, and the shower was enormous! There is a small lift (with two steps up to it!), so be prepared you may have use it one at a time. If you are a wheelchair user, contact the hotel about access, because I would say you wouldn’t get a wheelchair in there (but I don’t use one so don’t know!). Our triple room had really great beds, with a king size and a large single bed, both of which were very comfortable. The shower was enormous with decent water pressure. Again, immaculately clean with products provided. For a hotel directly opposite an international train station, we slept really well. Of course there was some noise but nothing massively disturbing! Lots of amenities nearby, and I would recommend to anyone to use the metro system. It’s super easy, and you can get on it at Gare du Nord. We had the breakfast which was lovely but there’s lots of choice nearby.

When we were checking out, it was raining and it was difficult to get a taxi but he went out of his way to help us find our ride. He even helped us carry our bags. We liked the location of the hotel, the cleanliness and size of the room, and the assistance provided by the staff on duty named Franco.
