Important Information

On-site parking is available for $30 plus tax per day. A renovation project of the sports complex will take place from Apr 20-May 24, 2026. During this time our tennis, pickleball and basketball courts will be completely closed. Work to be done daily from 9:00 am-6:00 pm.Guests are required to show a photo ID and credit card upon check-in. Mengfei (8/5): Nice clean service apartment - Very large rooms and lots of amenities on site. Close to sea world and 10 mins drive to universal studio. There was roof renovation ongoing in our building, we were warned about the noise at check in but they were unable to locate us another room as there were no other availabilities. Also be aware, parking for $30 a day is very expensive. In addition to Florida tax and other tax, our stay was a lot more expensive than expected

Marygal5 (10/5): An oasis on I-drive - Would highly recommend. Stayed here for 5 nights attending a conference nearby. This resort really grew on me. The grounds are lovely with well kept paths,pools, and common areas. The gym was really great with all new equipment, H20, and good a/c. There were plenty of towels and loungers at the pools and people taking up towels when leaving and not reserving spots. The vibe is friendly and polite. All ages here from young kids to older couples. The staff are super all around and wish everyone a good morning. This goes a long way. The room was well stocked and very clean. I am picky and was glad to see spotless soft furnishings, plenty of towels, alt day tidy, plenty soaps, detergent etc. The screened in porch was a real asset and I loved sitting outside without fear of bites. I thought it would be ideal if you had kids or an infant as you could sit outside without spraying them with bug spray. Only area I could possibly fault was the front desk not answering the phone and the lack of healthy options at restaurants for lunch/ take out. I am not a health nut but everything had cheese, bacon, Cesar dressing etc. You get the idea. I thought I found yogurt with granola but no, it was cheesecake stuffed in a jar. lol. The on-site shop has a few items but pricey. 6 dollars for one Chobani yogurt. 5.50 for bottle of water. I used the I trolley to commute but it is a bit of a hike (10-15 min) from the resort and in the heat was not for everyone. It was fine on my own but if with family I would have rented a car. I used some ubers and they can pick/drop right at front door of reception. I would definitely consider staying here again. Wish I had a few more days in paradise!

We couldn’t regulate the AC therefore, we were cold the majority of our visits except when we sat on the patio, which was a nice view overlooking at the golf course. Less little snats in the bathroom sink and AC adjustment.

Our room was damp and there were little black bugs in the tub every night. Also don’t care for the concierge trying to sell you stuff while you’re trying to check in and out.

Y4120UBmaryp (8/5): Chairs - I absolutely love the Marriott grande Vista. One of my only complaints is in the golf village, there are never enough lounges to get any sun. Every day we went down there by 9:30 every chair was taken but nobody was in it. I moved a chair over so that we could have hours in the Sun and this guy came down and started yelling at me that I was stealing his chair. He said people had put their stuff there at 7:30 in the morning and left so he did the same. They're not supposed to save chairs but workers walk right by and don't notice. This man was literally towering over me as I sat down yelling at me and being very aggressive, over a chair. I sat there for the next hour and my chair riddled and anxiety not able to move. Marriott either needs to cut down some of those trees so that there is Sun for everybody or enforce the rules.

Kitchen is a good size. Dining area is ideal and the bedrooms and bathrooms were spacious. bonus of having a washing machine and a dryer in the apartment. it was noisy at times being on the ground floor and near the elevator.

They conveniently avoided telling us that we could cancel within 10 days and held us hostage until we agreed to try it. They would not respond for two weeks when we tried to cancel. They pray on the elderly and are ruthless. In addition they made promises that they denied after we finally were able to get through to their office.

norman18 (10/5): What a great experience! - After a 7 year hiatus we returned to our fave Vacation Club, Marriotts Grande Vista. A welcoming like no other, a bottle of Cabernet delivered to our villa with a warm greeting card. And the same villa in the West Village that we stayed in back then. Golfing at the challenging nine hole golf course and Roberto arranging our cart and clubs. Thrilled to see he is still there! We did have an issue that I will not detail,however the way it was handled by Front Desk Management, Amani and Jesse was compassionate, expedient and professional. Thanks for the snacks, wine and balloons. We will return with our American friends who joined us for a few days. Nice to see other Canadians returning to Florida. Thank you for the memories! The two bedroom villa with its lock off was meticulous and appeared to be updated. Of course the 85F to 90F sunny days added to experience.

Eva (7/5): Nice and comfortable room/villa, hotel facilities average - The room ("villa") was well equipped and comfortable. Problem with aircon was quickly repaired by helpful staff. Grounds well maintained and view from good-size balcony pretty. Both pools were very busy, unwelcoming. If there was a quieter adult-only pool we did not find it. Overall this was too expensive. We expected something more select and, for the price, a little more luxury in the hotel facilities, such as pools, bars, restaurants, shop/store.

travelwork (4/5): Unacceptable staff response to numerous complaints this visit - very disappointing - My husband and I were looking forward to visiting this property again, having had a wonderful first visit in 2018. There are still many pros about the property. We want to give a shout out to Chance Pena in the Pre Arrivals department, who went above and beyond to accommodate our requests for specific property area and specific buildings and floors, so many kudos to him, for outstanding customer service. The unit itself was in great condition, the property is also beautiful - all of that was as great as at our last visit. But this time, we had to make numerous calls to the front desk, because our next door neighbors were smoking weed on their balcony multiple times each day. Not only is weed not legal in the state of Florida, but regardless, this property is a NON SMOKING property!!!! I don't care what the neighbors were smoking - the fact is there are designated smoking areas on the property and a unit's balcony is not one of them. I called the front desk at least four times throughout our week long stay and was met with several different responses, none of which included that it would be taken care of , meaning that the neighbors would be told to stop smoking on their balcony or there would be a fine. I was given wrong information, and at one point a front desk person defended using weed in Florida "if it's for medical marijuana purposes." Again, regardless, this property is non smoking. I have since had multiple calls with various people from the security team, and finally with someone from the front desk department. All of them kept on apologizing, apologizing, and apologizing, saying things like "I'll make sure to follow up, and it's a training issue and I will address it, etc....." Nevertheless, I was an unhappy guest throughout my stay. I kept on getting apology after apology, and with each call I got more and more frustrated because at the end of the day, not only was there never an offer to try to move us (although we shouldn't have had to be the ones to move), but also, there were always excuses for why more could not be done to get the neighbors to stop smoking on their balcony. I want to say that apology without behavior change is manipulation. I have dealt with Marriott many times before, and have most times been met with at least some kind of offer to help us with more than just an apology. As much as we both enjoy this property, I am extremely upset and disappointed at how little was done not only during our visit, but indeed after we have returned home. In fact in my most recent conversation, I was told "well, we could only give you Marriott Bonvoy points, but you're not Bonvoy points members." Not only is this a sales pitch and insulting, but also it's shady. This is Marriott. It's a huge company. I'm quite confident that if they really wanted to, they could find some form of compensation that would benefit me other than Bonvoy points. Again, I have had times at other Marriott properties when I needed to make a complaint and I was met with generosity in that a form of compensation to make up for whatever the trouble was has been offered to me. I am disappointed and upset that I was met with repeated apologies and nothing else was done, not only during our week long stay but since returning home as well. So if you want a nice place to stay, this property is certainly lovely, but if you have any kind of issues, don't expect much in the way of any attempt to do anything other than apologize repeatedly. Unacceptable.

J603CInathaliel (6/5): Hot and noisy stay - We have stayed here about three times before and had never had a problem but this time it was very dissapointing. The ac did not work at night. When we call they pass us to engeneering which never picks up phone than we went to front desk which told us to call maintenance which send us to engineering. Needless to say no answer... We were also charged $ 30 a day for parking which was in a week $ 210 total. At 6:30 am there was noice of the grass cutting machine just when ac starts working...

17wandalust46 (8/5): Knowledge of the resort layout is helpful. Great for families. - First of all, consider why you want to vacation here. This is generally a place for families. The MVC in Orlando is multi-generational-from young kids to senior citizens. What area you want to stay in also depends on your reasons for being here. This is the largest MVC available. If you want quiet, and relaxation, you want to be in the Golf Village. Small kids? You want to be near Copa Loca, and the kiddie pools. I have a 90 year old father. He has been going to Grande Vista for the past 20 years with my mom. Sadly, we lost my mom in 2023-but dad has wonderful memories here. It’s important to locate him in a familiar area where he can easily find his way back to the room. The planning of your stay and having the front desk honor what has been agreed to through reservations is difficult. Too many times I have been referred back and forth between the front desk and member services. Depending on the desk person, some are more accommodating and helpful than others. The concierge staff are extremely helpful. If the lines are long at the reservation desk, the concierge can often answer questions. Enjoy your trip!

Nicole (4/5): - The staff at the front desk and boat rental location were friendly but the service workers at the bars/restaurants were very dry and not personable. It didn't seem like they had enough workers for those areas and they were overworked. 99% of the people we met (customers) were very rude and demanding and acted as if they owned the resort amenities. Countless times they would purposely walk into you to push you off a sidewalk or jump in front of you while you were trying to order. There are pools located within the facility but were jam packed with people. For a resort that big with a ton of buildings there should be more pools as well as having staff to monitor the pools. There is an adult pool from 8am till 1pm that was filled with kids splashing around because the other pools were too full. Staff did not ask them to leave. Prices at the bar/restaurants were really high and the food/drinks were mediocre. The second we hadroom was beautiful and comfortable. The first room was smelly and the balcony was at eye level with people in the hot tub, we asked to move rooms and the staff was accommodating and moved us after snide remarks from the person the desk agent had to call and ask for permission to move us. The desk agent was nice even though we could hear the person they were talking to on the phone. We checked out a day early and went to a nicer resort due to the lack of amenities available and some dry staff. The grounds are well kept and the maintenance staff were great. Guests and bar/restaurant staff had no courtesy, at least the ones we met and dealt with each day we were there.

Die Couch mussten wir mitten in der Nacht selbst beziehen, obwohl wir angekündigt hatten dass wir sie brauchen. Auch fehlte eine Decke, es gab nur ein Leintuch und das war zu kalt für die Temperaturen die es mit Klimaanlage im Zimmer gab. Pools waren sehr voll. Restaurant am Golfplatz nicht toll, besser wo hinfahren.

marymC7773DQ (8/5): Great resort except for the pool chair hogs - We've been at the Marriott Grande Vista for this past week. Our unit is spacious and very clean. We have a two bedroom and has the basic needed items (i.e. several laundry detergents, dishwasher tabs, paper towels, coffee, coffee filters). The staff here are all fantastic. Very pleasant, accommodating, and will assist you anyway they can (when needed). Ironically we haven't seen any of the pushy time share sales people, and when I had a question regarding my timeshare, again, very helpful and not pushy in the least bit. Check-in is at 4. Don't come here expecting earlier, and then get ticked off because you can't get into your unit before then. Here, 4 means 4. Several restaurants and bars on property. Store is pricy, which I expected. There are several Walmart's, CVS and Aldi close by. Now .... the pool. Main pool is very nice. Rosy, the pool security attendant is wonderful. People come to pool at 7 am and lay claim to the chairs by putting a towel, book or T-shirt on the chairs and disappear so no one else who's actually at the pool can use the chairs. Rosy sticks by the time rule, and if you are not there for a period of time, you loose your chair, which is fair. Saw one woman argue with her as she "reserved" six lounge chairs and remained empty for over two hours, and Rosy removed their belongings. The woman was so rude to Rosy saying "where are we supposed to sit now?" Needless to say, if you're going to claim a chair, stay there and don't complain when you hog a chair and lose it.

Der Gesamteindruck des Appartements war abgewohnt, die Fenster waren kaum zu öffnen. Es hatte keinen guten Geruch im Appartement. Eines der Bäder war alt.

Too many people at pools - difficult to find chairs. Twice staff tried to pressure upsell - 1) you’ve been “specially selected” to go listen to sales pitch for 1.5 hours (was for payment but quantum of which depended on whether I was single or not. As single with kids I would have gone less than married w kids. weird and discriminatory! 2) I was also “specially selected” to receive offer to pay now to come back for discounted rate. But the “Offer only good for next 2 hours” while that particular staff member was on shift. Must have sales goals.
April (10/5): Absolutely Gorgeous Resort - Everything from the time we checked in was perfect. The resort is so spacious and welcoming from the daily activities to the well equipped rooms. We will definitely be back

Lyndsay (5/5): - Booked a family Disney trip months ago. Traveling with small children. Reached out months ago for two rooms near each other, and followed up right before the trip as suggested. Got there at 6:30pm with a baby and was told if we wanted rooms near each other as requested we’d have to wait at least an hour. Waiting until at least 7:30pm for a check in with babies after flying all day isn’t an option. We then had a two bedroom and the second bedroom smelt so strongly of mildew and wet dog we couldn’t even use it!
Linda (9/5): Our stay was wonderful! - Loved the room setup. Bread for families traveling together. When we booked back in December, we requested that rooms be near each other. ( 2, 2-bedroom units) One ended up being farther away. That was challenging with children.
