- Padraig (10/5): Short stay in London - Staff were very friendly and attentive. Rooms are decorated tastefully and it is set in a great area. Nothing

- Ingo (10/5): - I recently had the pleasure of staying at this hotel, and I can honestly say it exceeded every expectation. From the moment I arrived, the staff made me feel genuinely welcome with their warm hospitality, professionalism, and attention to detail. Check-in was quick and seamless, and the front desk team went above and beyond to ensure my stay was comfortable from start to finish.
The hotel itself is absolutely beautiful — clean, modern, elegant, and incredibly well maintained. My room was spacious, spotless, and thoughtfully designed with comfortable bedding, high-quality amenities, and an amazing view. Every detail, from the lighting to the decor, created a relaxing and luxurious atmosphere that made it feel like a true getaway.
One of the highlights of my stay was the exceptional service throughout the property. Every staff member I encountered was friendly, courteous, and eager to help. It’s rare to find a place where customer satisfaction is clearly such a top priority. Housekeeping did an outstanding job each day, and the overall cleanliness of the hotel was impeccable. The staff remembered me from a previous stay.
The location was also perfect — convenient to nearby Victoria Station with its attractions, restaurants, and shopping while still feeling peaceful and quiet. The hotel amenities were fantastic as well. The pool area was relaxing, the fitness center was well equipped, and the dining experience was excellent. Breakfast each morning was fresh, delicious, and offered a great variety of options.
What truly sets this hotel apart is the overall experience. It’s not just a place to sleep — it’s a place where you genuinely feel cared for and valued as a guest. Everything was handled with professionalism and genuine kindness, which made my trip even more memorable.
I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for comfort, luxury, outstanding service, and a stress-free stay.

- Reena (9/5): Great Hotel in London - Our 1 night stay at the Eccleston Hotel was exceptional. The staff arranged a free room upgrade with extra touches; birthday card and small gift on arrival. The attention to detail was great. Easy location and close to all amenities. I would highly recommend the Eccleston Hotel and would stay again.

- N6540VPchrism (10/5): Great Little bolthole in the centre of town. - An excellent small hotel, with high tech rooms and excellent staff. Reasonably priced too and only five minutes walk form Victoria station!
- Ellie (10/5): -
- Beata (6/5): - Comfy bed, clean room, friendly staff, good localization and it's very quiet Feels like fun room features like frosted glass doesn't work. Heater in the bathroom also didn't work. There's lack of hangers in bathroom it's hard to get towels dry
- simon (4/5): Mediocre. Had much better. - Rooms were ok My room had noisey plumbing and a blue wall light that could not be turned off. I had to drape a towel over it.
Breakfast was very mediocre. Tables weren’t laid with cutlery. No cooked option. Over priced for what it was.
- Rasha (5/5): Would not stay there again. - Good location. Rooms were modern and clean. The evening staff were unfriendly , uncooperative and unreasonable. Room was overheated and the only way to prevent it over heating was to turn it on to air conditioning which made it too cool. My room was downgraded because the only executive room category that I did book for was in the basement. They didn’t event attempt to compensate. I suggested throwing in free breakfast or at least complimentary water bottle only to get robotic, we can’t do that. They didn’t event let me switch to my category room when it did become available. They said once you pick a room you can’t change it.
- Nikki (10/5): A great stay - Great place, the location is ideal and perfect for us as we were seeing shows at the Victoria theatres.
- Rola (10/5): Excellent hotel - Everything
- Colin (8/5): -
- Jason (7/5): -
- Stella (7/5): staff were very accommodating and location suited our stay. I would return - Location was good and felt safe. limited surfaces in bathroom to put personal toiletries etc
no tea bags in the room
- marceloc1961 (10/5): Great hotel, great service, great location, in other words.....great! - Not my first visit nor will it be my last. Wonderful staff, hotel is close to transportation, restaurants, and shopping. Will return!
- Stephen (10/5): - Friendly and helpful staff, lots of useful technology inside the room, comfortable bed, free water provided, safe area, beautiful lobby, nice soft lighting options in room, good shower and amenities The window blind not working properly, tv in bathroom, but did not affect our stay
- vanessagkenny (8/5): Friendly staff - Super helpful staff, clean and convenient location. Fab beds! A few minor repairs needed in room and breakfast needed replenishing more frequently.
- Sven (9/5): -
- Ian (10/5): - Gadgets in the bedroom were amazing and the hotel overall was great! N/A
- Noble (8/5): Great potential for this hotel in a wonderful setting let down by tech failure - Very upmarket in a wonderful location Air on in room failed and we got a rubbish nights sleep and £60 compensation
- Julia (10/5): - The staff was really friendly and accommodating, i was travelling alone and felt safe I am really sad that i couldn‘t buy the room fragrance haha
- Manu Franceschetti (9/5): Very Good. - All good. Forgot the name but the lady at the reception from Australia...? was very nice and professional. Breakfast was ok... but some warm food would be welcome.
- gary (10/5): Perfect! - Everything was better than could ever imagined, very welcoming and comfortable stay.
Perfect!

- eyelovetravelling (10/5): Beautiful stay - Gorgeous hotel, it feels like a home from home. The bed was divine, as was the shower. I love this location too, only minutes away from Elizabeth Street and Eccleston Yards. The nicest staff too. Thank you.
- Y4458IFabbyr (10/5): Amazing mom/daughter trip - My mom and I traveled from Utah USA to stay at the Eccleston square hotel in London. We were so pleased with the location (walking distance for several incredible sights and shopping areas. 8 mins from the Victoria tube station), very attentive and kind staff (always available 24/7 at the desk and happy to help). Very safe in the area. All together made for a wonderful trip due to the helpful and kind staff at eccleston square!
- Cruiser60082729505 (10/5): 服務周到 - I'm from Taiwan and I'm so grateful to Desiree and Bill. They helped me a lot, especially with the language barrier; they were incredibly patient. They also immediately changed my room when there was a problem. Thank you so much! The hotel service was excellent, and I highly recommend staying here.
- Emma (7/5): Fine but nothing special - Location was good, staff very friendly No mirror anywhere near where you could dry your hair. No access to Netflix or other streaming services unless you had your own account which is misleading.
Booked a superior room but didn’t feel that there was anything special about it - no balcony or large bathroom as suggested
- penguinlady13 (10/5): A little slice of heaven in the middle of London - Thoroughly enjoyed my stay at Eccleston Square Hotel. Special shout out to the wonderful desk staff Desiree, Eden, and Maitri who went above and beyond helping me with all my questions!
Super comfy beds, great location!
- Claire (10/5): A wonderful stay in a wonderful hotel - Friendly, helpful, polite staff. Luxurious room: extremely comfortable bed, great shower, beautiful toiletries. Clean and fresh. N/A
- Joe (10/5): -
- Madalena (8/5): -
- AlonsoLob (10/5): Great time at Eccleston Square Hotel - We were very comfortable at all times, even before arriving, they helped us on WhatsApp to solve doubts. The staff, lovely. Good breakfast and very good cleaning throughout the hotel. Excellent location.
- Dale (10/5): -
- Catherine (6/5): - Location Rooms are far too small and too many gadgets
- 450carleenc (2/5): A total disappointment!! - We choose this recommendation from a popular travel book and what a total disappointment! The staff were accommodating but the room was a total disappointment! After the 4 suit cases were in the room, there was NO way to walk around the bed! The bathroom was so small and poorly arranged you could barely turn around. There was no added amenities except one very small bar of soap and soap in the shower. This room was smaller than the smallest cabin on a cruise ship! The pillows were very soft and fluffy but for $400/night, the pillows were hardly worth it!!
- mattjend (10/5): Luxurious stay, convenient location - Loved staying in the Eccleston. It was a short walk from Victoria, staff were friendly and helpful, and the room was lovely. Great nights sleep after a long day of travel.
- Franklin (10/5): - Enjoyed our stay
- Debra (10/5): - The rooms are small but very clean and modern. The staff at the front desk is exceptional. Good location.
- JOSE ANDRES (6/5): It is ok but there are better options for the $ - Booked this hotel for 1 night, as transit to be close tot he train station, 1st impression is great, hotel looks clean, goo ambiance downstairs, once to my room, room is ok, however the bathroom is extremly small, the door to the shower hits the sink so it does not open fully and I need to manuever to access such shower, also not all the toiletries mentioned on the website are actually available, and the grout in the bathroom had mold.
Staff is friendly overall; however, they are not good at solving issues.
The continental breakfast is extremely lackluster for the price of the hotel and the upcharge for breakfast.
Bottom line, if you really need a hotel for the night, this will do, but there are better options nearby.
- Jacob (2/5): - When my wife and arrived back at the room the shower was running and the bathroom was flooded. It was noIt was around 23:30 and the overnight staff was useless. We ended up walking down the street to the July and
- Joshua (4/5): - The Ecclestone Square Hotel was a great hotel in 2011 when it opened to great fanfare… and it does not look as though it has been updated or maintained, or gone any attention in the intervening 14 years since.
- Gina (10/5): Great location - The hotel has a very convenient location. It’s close to the train station. The neighborhood is very nice and quiet with coffee shops and restaurants nearby. This is the third time my husband and I stay at this hotel. Staff is friendly and helpful.
- Akshta (1/5): The most disappointing part of the stay was the staff’s noticeably cold and dismissive attitude—espe - The hotel was in a great location and matched its “smart hotel” description perfectly. The hotel’s location is convenient for getting around the city, but my stay came with several issues. The room was much smaller than expected and felt poorly maintained. The shower and sheets had a noticeable musty smell, and the shower drain wasn’t functioning properly.
It also seemed the room was positioned near major plumbing, as there were frequent sounds of running water at different times of the night—I even recorded the noise. These disturbances made it difficult to relax or get a full night’s sleep.
In addition, the staff interaction left something to be desired. When booking through a third-party site such as Booking.com, I found the reception noticeably less friendly and not particularly willing to engage, which gave an unwelcoming impression.
Overall, while the location is practical, the combination of maintenance issues, noise, and unhelpful service made the experience disappointing.
- Peter (7/5): - Great location!
- LB7300 (10/5): Great Option for a London Visit - The hotel is located in a great neighborhood with easy access to all sorts of public transportation via Victoria Station. Additionally, it's a quick walk to shops and restaurants in Pimlico or on Elizabeth St. Can also walk to the Tate Museum. Although a busy area by day, quiet at night. Rooms are small (most are in London), but nicely designed - only negative was unflattering lighting in the bathroom. The beds are super comfortable, and there's a mini fridge plus coffee maker. Staff is friendly and helpful. Consider this a find! and would definitely stay here again.
- Bruce (10/5): Great place to stay - Great hotel in a great location. Staff is friendly and knowledgeable.
- Carolyn (8/5): For people who welcome new technology! - The hotel is small and recently renovated. The staff is very helpful! As advertised, many of the feature in the room are high tech, so if that isn’t of interest to you, prepare for a learning experience. The beds are very comfortable and the location is nerdy close to Victoria station.
- KonstantinosP226 (10/5): EXCELLENT HOTEL - POOR BREAKFAST - My family and I had 2 rooms on the 1st floor, with balcony, which viewed in a beautiful garden.I believe its an opportunity to have balcony in London,in a road with beautiful buildings. Location is excellent, near to Victoria station, but very quiet neighbourhood.
The hotel is well decorated and uses a lot of technology in the rooms which is very convenient and not at all complicated.Trully the rooms are small,it's an old building, but you get used to it, when you arrange your suitcases.
But the highlight of the hotel is Eccleston Garden which is private only for the residents.
What a beautiful and peaceful garden! Don't miss it.
And about staff,is very warm and helpful.
The only thing that must be improved is the breakfast. It is very poor in variety and in quantity.
My advice : Book room with balcony and visit the garden!
- Jeremy (8/5): -
- JORGE (8/5): - Space in room is very limited
- Princewood_court_ (4/5): Overall thumbs down - Poor lighting, especially in the bathroom. Wife had trouble seeing to put on makeup etc. Plugs did not work with converter to use flat iron. Staff is very pleasant, rooms are small (which is always expected in this part of the world). Hotel is very clean
- Lynette (8/5): Pleasant stay, safe and quiet neighborhood. Overall staff was very friendly and helpful. - We chose this hotel for the location primarily for safety and quietness and since we’ve stayed here before over two years ago it was a very pleasant stay. It was more expensive than other hotels in the area so we may have to check what other rates are. The staff were very friendly and helpful. Desireé was especially so when our original room we booked the frig wasn’t working. We had told Anish who we as nice but he told us that the card needs to always be inserted which we had but the frig still didn’t work. Also, we didn’t mention this but the first room wasn’t as clean as we expected so that’s why I rated it with an 8. So the first day we stayed in that room until the next day when Desireé switched our room and so kindly put us on the the same floor which was so great of her. The frig was working and the room was cleaner. Paolo was great too. He’s very friendly. We enjoyed tea with some of our friends and he brought out a very nice tray of goodies. Our British friends felt very posh. The room service was really good. Food was delicious and reasonably priced. When we checked out the guy behind the counter which I don’t remember his name was not as helpful or friendly. We wanted a receipt but he just told us it would be sent through our email. I always want a paper copy but he didn’t offer one. I overheard as we were leaving that one man complained that the a/c wasn’t working and on another floor it flooded with water. We felt bad for those occupants but glad we didn’t have that problem. Next time we come to London we may check out other accommodations in that area. However, we may come here since we are comfortable here too. As was already mentioned above what we didn’t like.
- JORGE (8/5): - Small room
- Jere (10/5): Nice hotel with park - The hotel was really good. The service was really good and the concierge were very helpful. The food service from the bar is very limited, but was good. It takes a little getting used to all the new electronics in the room and how to work everything. Some negatives were Almost no counter space in the bathroom and no electric plug-ins in the bathroom. We had to plug our electric toothbrush in the sleeping area. If you have a chance, let them open the gate so you can sit in the park. It’s a private park and it’s beautiful or spending a couple hours reading or just relaxing.

- Susan (10/5): - Fantastic staff. Very clean. The rooms are small but that is an acceptable trade off for the location, service and cleanliness. I will definitely stay again.
- Robert (8/5): Quiet and smart but could be more luxurious. Excellent location - Great location, very close to Victoria Station but in a quiet square. Very modern and hi-tech. Comfortable beds and modern but small bathroom.
Turning the lights on and off proved a challenge but we eventually worked it out. Supremely quiet hotel.
Staff very friendly and helpful. Little in the way of luxuries in the room. Coffee machine with 3 pods and 2 bottles of water. Tea available via room service. No biscuits. Considering the price paid this was disappointing.
Paid nearly £30 for breakfast but also poor value for money. Underwhelming continental choice and we ended up having cereal, juice and tea.
- Catherine (9/5): Comfortable hotel in a beautiful and safe area - The hotel is situated in a beautiful area near Belgravia. The hotel staff was very welcoming, our room was well appointed with a large king bed, perfect for sleeping. We were given a room in the basement level but we adjusted and it turned out to be perfect for the one night we were there.
- dhnyc25 (4/5): Not worth the premium - If you are looking for a luxurious stay, I would look elsewhere.
We had paid more for a King bed with a garden view but upon check in were told our room was in the cellar. I've never stayed in a basement room, but after a long flight thought we'd give it a try.
When we were headed to sleep we noticed spiders and webs and asked to be switched to a room with a garden view as we had booked. After 1.5 hours in the middle of the night, the very nice front desk attendant cleaned the webs and disposed of the spiders.
We had a separate pre-paid booking later in the week and this time did have the garden view room. It's smaller than the cellar room, but feels better to not be in a basement and have more natural light. Again this time I found small bugs, stains, etc.
Aside from the feeling that the hotel wasn't very well taken care of, the garden is actually across the street and you must ask the front desk to give you access.
The area is nice and quiet, situated in a calm part of town with a good amount of restaurants and grocery stores within walking distance.
I am not a regular reviewer but a very frequent traveler; I had reached out to the hotel in advance to give them a chance to make this right between us.
I would not stay here again if it were $100 cheaper per night.
