- charlesgN6088KW (10/5): Expensive but convenient - We stayed here just one night then switched to another Universal Hotel that was much cheaper (Terra Luna) for our final two nights. Let me explain why- The big perk of staying at this hotel specifically was included express passes for both of us for Islands of Adventure and Universal Studios. This was for both CHECK IN and CHECK OUT days for the hotel. So you can do what we did and park at the hotel, grab your card for express pass and immediately enter the park for early entry even though you won’t be checking into your room until later. Then the following day we loaded our stuff into the rental car and you’re automatically checked out in the morning, but your express pass is good until the parks close so 12:00 AM that night. On top of having express passes by staying here, you get early entry (1 hour earlier) by just staying at any Universal hotel. Additionally, this hotel was a short 5-10 minute walk to city walk and / or both entrances for IOA or US. It also had shuttle options and a boat ride, but we just walked each time. The hotel was very nice and our room was too. If you plan on buying express passes for multiple people for multiple days definitely just consider staying at this hotel or one of the other two that include them to save a bit of money. Because let’s be honest everything in Orlando and Universal is expensive so save some money where you can.

- spursi241052 (10/5): Royal Pacific Club Level - My wife and I did a three-night stay in a room with a king bed on Club Level of Royal Pacific. It was an excellent experience overall and I would recommend it if you can splurge on this level. Advantages were: - easy boat ride or walk to the entrance of Islands of Adventure. 10-15 minutes - an easy shuttle bus ride to Epic Universe - 20 minutes, busses are nice, city transit style ones - we did this with a taxi back and forth to the airport and did not have a rental car. With car you would pay an overnight parking fee - We did the pool in the afternoon of two of the days, very shallow, rarely gets over 3 feet in depth, no trouble with getting a lounger, lots of families and kids playing pool volleyball and bouncing around but plenty of room in the pool, lots of attentive lifeguards - gym was fairly large, off the pool area, plenty of cardio options. No Peloton bikes at this hotel. - We did not eat in the main restaurant or bar as we had the Club access for breakfast, snacks, and supper. Bfast was 7am-10am, supper 5pm-7pm, and as a nice touch, desserts were served 8pm-9pm. - Food quality exceeded my expectations and was comparable to a high-quality airport lounge. Menu theme rotated each day with kids' options (chicken tenders) and adult options (Asian chopped salads, beef ragu) available. Soups such as coconut curry veggie and lentil were fantastic. Beer/wine included with lovely wine selections. Bottled water was available as self-serve. - Lounge was never overcrowded, board and other games are available if you would like to hang out - getting your food in the lounge both going out and coming in from our park day made things so much easier for us - Staff was also fantastic, eager to help, chatty with the guests. Sydney and Tori were very helpful. - Early park access is included on your room key card for this hotel. Only disadvantage was IOA opening time was moved up to 7am for our day there but we wanted breakfast, also starting at 7am, so we did not use our early entry privilege that day. We were able to use early access at Epic. IOA/USF priority line access was also included on the hotel key card, but we rarely had a line at these two parks. You can keep the cards after your stay so a nice souvenir.

Vale la pena quedarse ahi por que te incluye el pase express Creo que la oferta gastonomica podria ser mejor. Las opciones para comer/cenar en el hotel eran: restaurante amerciano, otro de sushi y otro asiatico. Creo que deberia haber uno italiano (pastas, pizzas...) o mediterraneo (ensaladas...)

The room itself is a standard room with 2 small queen size beds, a wardrobe, and a WC bath/shower room with seperate sink area, which means that for 1 night it was bearable because you get 2 days of express passes and are within a short walking distance of Universal City Walk and the 2 parks. Its the unlimited express passes for the parks, with a short walk that you are paying for, and it was a good deal as my wife had found that it was cheaper to do it this way for a mid-week 1 night break then to buy 2 days of express passes. We arrived early, around 0645/7am and checked in, received our express passes, left our luggage with luggage services and went to the parks. We got early entry so was in the queue before 8am and on the first ride by 8am - straight on. The hotel is walking distance, a nice quiet walk before hitting the crowds so you dont need the water shuttle. We actually needed a break from using the express passes so went back to the hotel and had a few hours at the swimming pool in the afternoon, before going back to the parks. The hotel itself was ok, but nothing great. In summary its the location and express passes that you are paying for.

- Natalie (9/5): Beautiful hotel, friendly staff, will be returning. - The property was beautiful, clean, close to parks if wanting to walk or the boat journey was lovely. The staff were friendly and helpful. The pool area was beautiful and the drinks from pool bar were really good although very pricey. The rooms were very warm, not much control over the air-con system.

- s2010m (6/5): Still nice but could be better - We have stayed here multiple times over the last 10 years and although it’s obviously still a nice hotel it doesn’t have the same magic feeling that it used to have. The highs are the lovely entrance, unlimited express passes, the location, the ease of the water taxi, the pool nighttime entertainment after the parks and these are the reasons we return year after year. However it’s the small details that have changed my opinion on it… the warm welcome with the Hawaiian leis we used to get has definitely dampened over the years. The rooms need soundproofing. We were awoken with multiple screaming children up and down the corridors from 7am, knocking and banging in the middle of the night… The beds are comfortable but could do with more than a blanket and comforter. Our blackout curtains wouldn’t properly close. An $8 tag on the water in the room. The toilet isn’t very private - sliding door no lock. It would also be useful to have the toilet separate from the shower so both could be used separately for a family. For a price tag of £818 for the night, a good nights sleep and a free water should be included :)

- family52018 (2/5): Disappointing stay! Beware of express pass limits - Wish I could give zero stars! I’ve never been so happy to check out of a hotel. Staff is very junior with no seasoned professionals to guide them. Reception bounces you to vacation planning and when vacation planning can’t help they bounce you back to reception and then reception bounces you concierge for help linking tickets and hotel reservation on app. Our room was not ready when we checked in and we asked bell stand to hold bags -and bring to our room when ready. Hours later our bags were still in the lobby. When we went to bell stand they pointed to bags by concierge and told us we can grab them. Most hotels would bring your bags to your room- not at royal pacific. We booked a hospitality suite that must have had floors replaced. I guess they never thought of changing length of door which caused sound issues. All night long we heard people, elevator, and even bar music from lobby. For $2k a night I would expect a quiet room with no sound issues. When I asked to be moved to another room, I was told the hotel was sorry about the noise but safe travels. I escalated the issue and was told the hotel was at capacity and there was nothing they can do. Finally- anyone considering this hotel should be aware that express pass is only good in universal and islands of adventure. It is not good at Epic. If your are staying at this hotel for express pass access to all parks you are better off staying at a nicer hotel off property and paying for express pass separately.

- nugenthorne_79 (10/5): Great stay! - This is the 2nd time we have stayed here with 4 years apart and loved it as much as the 1st time! Our room was a good size with plenty of storage, room service every day with fresh towels and a bed change after 3 nights! There is a fridge for light shopping - agreed it would be nice for a bottle of water in the room but we did a DoorDash so wasn’t an issue! The onsite shop/restaurant was good for coffee and breakfast items - cereal, pastries, bagels etc. The pool area could do with a revamp as slightly tired but plenty of towels - for laying on as well as drying on! The walk/boat to city walk and the parks is fab - I will certainly miss it!

The location was walking distance to the parks and a water taxi was also available from the hotel if you are tired. The small market to grab breakfast, coffee, ice cream and snacks in the hotel was very convenient. The shower drain wasn't working so good in our room. It felt like it was about to flood. With this level of hotel, I expected things to work better. I also wished the hotel had a general store for medicine, first aid and feminine hygiene items.

- Rahel (4/5): Schlechte Preis-Leistung - Personal war freundlich, gute Gepäckabgabe. Pluspunkt sind natürlich die Unlimeted Express Pässe. Mini Badezimmer, Kingsizebed hatte die Mindestgröße was ok war. Teppichboden, unterm Bett nicht gesaugt was zu einem heftigen Allergieschub geführt hat. Fernseher zeigt nur Filme an die das Hotel anbietet oder Werbesender. Internet war zwar für Social Media gut, falls man streamen möchte hätte man nochmal 10 Dollar zahlen müssen. Über 800 Dollar für eine Nacht ohne Getränke oder Essen für so ein Zimmer war eine absolute Frechheit. Das Parken für einen Tag war ebenfalls mit knapp 36 Dollar absolut überteuert. Wären die Express Pässe nicht inkludiert gewesen, wäre es ein Reinfall gewesen.

- romain (10/5): amazing family moment - wonferful hotel, great staff... everything is made to enjoy your dream stay at universal studio. going to the theme park with a boat is amazing! multiple choice of restaurant: breakfast and sushis are very good. Coming from Europe, we had read that the hotel offered a currency exchange service (euros/dollars). Unfortunately, the daily limit is $100, and we only had €100 bills... therefore, we were unable to exchange any money. $100 might be a maximum that needs to be reassessed.
