• andycY7004LL (8/5): Hotel Daniel, Munchen - OK so again, having read mixed reviews, was a little uncertain what to expect. The Hotel is literally just off the S-Bahn station exit - but as the S-Bahn is underground, zero noise! Munich Flughafen-Karlsplatz 15 euros per person, takes 45 mins. Same in reverse. Check-in was quick and easy with very welcoming staff. We were upgraded from Standard to Business room. Room 517 on level 5 - VERY quiet and spacious. Room was clean. Yes, a few minor maintenance issues if I wanted to be really critical, nothing worthy of complaint. Yes the Hotel is perhaps a little dated, but only just. Bathroom all OK, everything worked. Good shower, hair dryer and heated towel rail. Complimentary hand and body soaps, tissues etc. LOVELY comfortable bed - pillows weird, large and square, but you get used to that. Mini-safe in room, smart TV. No fridge or tea/coffee making facilities, but then we read that so took out own kettle etc. Breakfast (06.30-10.30) was perfectly adequate, with staff again extremely helpful. Usual offering is boiled eggs, hot sausages and bacon. Bread rolls, Prezel. Cereals & Yoghurts. Cold meats, cheese, pates, fruit and some cucumber/pepper/dates. Some cake & jams. GREAT Coffee freshly made for you. Seriously, you could not complain about the breakfast. Hotel is 10-15 min walk to Marianplatz and is just off Karlsplatz, so a really great location. Daily Glokenspiel shows at 11, 12 & 5pm. Around the hotel there is a McDonalds & Burger King and a number of stores where you could buy snacks. 5 mins to the main shopping. Koeningsplatz a 10 min walk. We took a taxi one lazy day from the hotel to Odeonsplatz and it was 9 Euros. The Residenz is aqmazing but VERY big - took ages and a LOT of walking. Very few seats, no cafe. You cannot take bags with you, but DO take a bottle of water, you will be glad you did! Hotel check out is 11am, but we were able to leave our case in a secure room until 5pm as we had a late flight. Vending machine in reception, water, pop and a few sweets. All in all, a great Hotel, well positioned and well worth it. Highly recommended!

• alinegibertoni (2/5): Misleading information and poor service - I had a very disappointing experience at Hotel Daniel in Munich. The main issue was that the listing indicated that the hotel offered parking. However, upon arrival, I was informed that there is no parking available at the hotel. This caused significant stress and inconvenience, as I had to spend a long time searching for parking nearby after a long trip. This information is misleading and should be clearly corrected. Unfortunately, this was not the only problem during my stay. Housekeeping was inconsistent — our towels were not replaced, and the bathroom was only superficially cleaned. On one occasion, there was even an unpleasant smell, which made the experience quite uncomfortable. The shower did not work well too, it cooled all of sudden in the middle of the bath. The overall service also felt unfriendly. After raising the parking issue, I felt that the staff treated us differently, with a lack of attention and courtesy. We also checked the breakfast option (which was not included), and it did not seem worth the price at all — very limited and unappealing. Overall, I did not feel welcomed or well treated during my stay. I would not recommend this hotel, especially if accurate information and good service are important to you.

• Walter (4/5): Enttäuschend - Hervorragende zentrale Lage direkt neben U- und S-Bahn-Station. Freundlichkeit des Personals individuell sehr unterschiedlich von aufmerksam, freundlich und bemüht bis ignorant. Das Hotel macht aufs erste einen freundlichen Eindruck, Leider hatten wir ein Zimmer zum Innenhof: Unerträglicher Dauerlärm bis spät in die Nacht wie von einer überlauten Lüftungsanlage. Fenster öffnen auch deshalb nicht möglich, weil vor dem Fenster ein allgemein zugänglicher Balkon war. Somit: Schlafqualität in einem stickigen Zimmer sehr, sehr eingeschränkt. Wer dieses Zimmer im Sommer zugeteilt bekommt, ist wahrhaft zu bedauern (es gibt keine Klimaanlage). Frühstücksbuffett äußerst bescheiden.

• Merrin (7/5): Convenient location - location Breakfast is not worth the money. I suggest the buffet at Flemings Hotel München-City or Mercure Hotel Muenchen Altst. Both hotels are about a 5-10 minute walk. The breakfast at those hotels is about 18-25 euro and it is worth the walk if there you enjoy all you can eat breakfast buffets. The food at those is health and has many options.

• MURAT (6/5): Öncekiler gibi değildi - Çalışanlar çok yardımcı, otel ve odalar çok temiz. Odamız soğuktu, bir türlü düzgün ısınmadı, klima bazen çalıştı, bazen çalışmadı. Isıtıcı verdiler ve soğuktan dolayı hep çalıştı ama bazen klimada kafasına göre çalışınca bu seferde sıcaktan nefes alamadık

• Igor (7/5): - Отель находится в 5 минутах ходьбы от Карлсплац. Весь центр рядом. Уборка каждый день. Пришёл-убрано. Поменяли полотенца и спасибо. Всё не новое. Кровать продавлена. Полотенца старые. Заселяют долго. Завтрак не брал,но зашёл посмотреть и желание там есть не появилось. Рядом в переходе хорошие кафе со свежей выпечкой и кофе.
