• Tatjana (8/5): Völlig i.O. für kurze Aufenthalte - Lag sehr gut für unsere Veranstaltung, die wir besuchen wollten. Personal sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Frühstück für den Preis mehr als angemessen. Bett sehr bequem, Kissen etwas dünn. Leider kleine Klimaanlage, sondern nur ein kleiner Ventilator. Nur als Hinweis😉,Unterkunft bzw. Gebäude nicht mehr das neuste, daher wahrscheinlich auch keine Neuerungen wie Klimaanlage.

• Birgit (10/5): Super toll - Ich hatte ein tolles, riesiges Zimmer im Erdgeschoss des Nebengebäudes. Angenehm ruhig, die Matratzen herrlich hart, ein bequemer Sessel mit Fußteil, eine Couch und der Clou eine gemütliche Terrasse mit Bank und Stuhl. Das Frühstück war preiswert und ließ keine Wünsche offen. Man läuft 5 bis 10 Minuten zum Zoo und 5 Minuten zum KaDeWe und Wittenberg Platz. Ich komme auf jeden Fall wieder. Das Berliner Wetter bzw die Eisheiligen.
• TarekSol (7/5): Nice hotel - Very clean and beautiful and cozy room. The bathroom is top notch, the balcony is great. The bed is very comfy. The hotel in itself has this interior design which reflects its interesting history. I made use of the balcony which is accessible from my room. The balcony has a table and four chairs. The location is great. The staff is very friendly and nice. The internet speed is not fast enough, maybe because my room was in the 5th floor? There's a limit to how many devices that can be connected to to the wifi (3 at most), and that was inconvenient because I travel with more than 3 devices. Room key needs to be left at the reception upon leaving the hotel. Even though I could imagine why that is reasonable (for example to police who goes in and out of the room, as to not "smuggle" an extra person), it felt uncomfortable. The room in itself is very clean, but on one chair it seems as if there are old stains. Maybe the chair is clean despite the stains, therefore the chair looked unappealing to sit on. Thankfully there's another wooden chair in the room. Despite all of that, I'm satisfied with my stay, and would book a room there again in the future.

• Susanne (10/5): Hotel mit einem ganz außergewöhnlichem Charme - Ausnahmslos sehr freundliches Personal, das jeden Wunsch zu erfüllen versucht. Obwohl das Hotel ausgebucht war, bestand zu keinem Zeitpunkt der Eindruck, das Mitarbeiter gestresst waren. In diesem Hotel merkt man, das alle Mitarbeiter gerne in ihrem Beruf arbeiten. Es gibt keinerlei Beanstandungen!
• Marcin (10/5): Bardzo polecam! - Bardzo dobra lokalizacja. Dobre śniadanie. Czyste pokoje. Bardzo miła obsługa. Parking hotelowy wewnętrzny. Hotel wiekowy, ale czysty, w bardzo dobrej lokalizacji (blisko komunikacja autobusowa i stacje metra). Blisko do ZOO (90 metrów). W pobliżu sklepy, bary, puby i restauracje, a także centrum handlowe BIKINI. Brak klimatyzacji, ale są wentylatory przenośne w pokoju.

• Jan (10/5): Een comfortabel verblijf, dichtbij bus 100. - De betaalbaarheid en ligging in het hartje van Berlijn, in combinatie met (klant-)vriendelijke medewerkers en een altijd bezette receptie, voor een veilig gevoel. Eigenlijk niets. Ik kan me voorstellen dat het ontbreken van airco in hartje zomer als een gemiste wordt ervaren. Maar daar heb ik dus geen last van gehad dit verblijf!

• nicolas (7/5): - la ubicacion es buena, y el baño esta bien. la cama es comoda no me gusto que la habitacion tiene dos camas una enfrente de la otra. me parece caro para lo pqeueña que es. tampoco me gusto que me controlaran si invite a un amigo a dormir. he reservado la habitacion y claramente esa persona iba a estar solo esa noche. te cobran el agua de cortesia

Es ist ein altes Haus und die Zimmerausstattung ist optisch etwas altbacken. die Badezimmer sind recht neu. im grossen ganzen gibt es hier nichts zu beanstanden keinerlei Punkte die mich an dem Hoet stören. Wenn ich etwas nenn müsste, wäre es das immer wieder erneute ausfüllen der Daten, obwohl ich ca. 3 mal jährlich das Hotel nutze. Wie gesagt ist das aber meckern auf hohem Niveau

• Maximilian (4/5): Nicht für Folsom etc. geeignet! - Lage, kein Straßenlärm, freundliche Rezeption Leider hat mich dieses Hotel sehr enttäuscht. Bringt ein Hotelgast einen Gast mit so fragt die Rezeption den Namen und Aufenthaltszeit des Gastes ab. Absolut inakzeptabel, absolutes No-Go. Das Frühstück war wirklich schlecht, mit den Brötchen hätte ich vielleicht sogar Fenster einwerfen können so trocken und hart (mehrere Tage war es so). Neutral: Ausstattung war etwas älter, muss man mögen, Schlüssel soll an der Rezeption abgegeben werden (gibt es auch bei anderen Hotels, muss man ebenfalls mögen). Alles in allem rate ich persönlich dringendst davon ab dieses Hotel für Events wie Folsom oder Easter Berlin zu buchen.

• Audrey (8/5): - This is a historic and quirky old building with lots of varied art pieces. The location is good and close to public transportation. The room was large. The breakfast was pretty good, though better if you arrive early. The room was clean but the carpet and curtains were a bit old and tired. The lighting was also pretty dim. Though this didn't bother us, the elevator stops between floors, so you always have to carry your luggage up or down a short flight of stairs.

• Adriano (1/5): Eins der schlechtesten Hotels in Berlin, in denen ich je war. - Das Beste an dem Hotel ist die Ausgangstür, wenn man endlich geht Besuche sind nicht erlaubt, egal ob man an der Rezeption Bescheid gegeben hat oder nicht. Beim Rausgehen muss man den Zimmerschlüssel an der Rezeption lassen. Das Personal ist extrem arrogant e total schlecht informiert, was den Aufenthalt angeht. Ich kann dieses Hotel absolut nicht empfehlen. Eine schreckliche Erfahrung über Silvester!

Als ich ihn mit hoch ins Zimmer nehmen wollte, um ihm etwas zu zeigen, meinte die Dame am Empfang, das das nicht ginge, das keine fremden Personen mit hoch ins Zimmer kommen könnten. So etwas ist mir in 45 Jahren reisen noch nie passiert. Auch die Tatsache, dass eine Empfangsdame die elektronische Eingangstür am hellichten Tag schließt und man klingeln muss, ist mehr als gewöhnungsbedürftig, in der Nacht sehe ich das ein, aber nicht um 13 oder 14 Uhr. Meine Konsequenz, dieses Hotel sieht mich nie wieder.

• Martina (7/5): Alles wie erwartet. Danke. - Zimmer war sehr ruhig, netter Empfang. Zentrale Lage. Etwas zu warm, da die Heizungsrohre durch das Zimmer verliefen. Ist bei Altbau aber wohl nicht zu ändern.
• Lia-Maria (9/5): Kiva vanha hotelli - Henkilökunta on nykyään todella ystävällistä, aikaisemmilla käynneillä palvelu oli ajoittain tylyä. Nyt kaikki meni loistavasti. Aamupala on hyvä. Hotellin sijainti ihan metron vieressä tekee liikkumisen helpoksi. Hotelli henkii ihanasti vanhaa aikaa, paljon kauniita yksityiskohtia. .

• Malcolm1248 (4/5): Awful stay ! Avoid at all costs - Awful dated guest house - not a hotel at all! First greeting by a blond lady who barked orders at us and was charging us for all kinds before we’d even checked in . I have never in all my years of travel been charged room tax based on the size of the room ? Bizarre . Then tried to say we had made two separate bookings , again not true and that my friends room did not come with breakfast, I’ll get to the what they call breakfast. The room ! It was like what I can only imagine Anne Franck lived in , so small you could barely walk in it or turn around . Dirty yellow stained bedding , a pillow that belonged in the bin !! So soft and infirm It was impossible to sleep or get comfortable. The breakfast ! €15 they had the nerve to charge for curdled milk , filter coffee and a very small selection of bread and cereals . The hot open was a small container of cold scrambled egg and small sausage things we only had the one day of our entire trip it was vile to say the least . Staff were on the whole unpleasant apart from one young girl on reception. They made it plain they did not want you there , why make yourself available to travellers then especially British if you don’t want us there ?? On a whole I would never return here or to Berlin in fact , I have passed my comments to easyJet holidays and Hays travel ( UK ) not to send anyone there it’s just not fit for purpose .
• Heike (8/5): Insgesamt haben meine Freundinnen und ich den Aufenthalt als sehr angenehm empfunden. - Ein nettes gemütliches Hotel in guter Lage. Das Personal war aufmerksam und hilfsbereit. Das Frühstück könnte etwas abwechslungsreicher sein. Für Vegetarier war das Angebot etwas klein.
• Airam (1/5): Nos estafaron 416€ - Pagué por una habitación superior y, al llegar, nos dieron algo completamente distinto a lo anunciado en las fotos. Nada más entrar ya se veía que no correspondía a la categoría contratada: la distribución, el mobiliario y los acabados eran claramente inferiores. Para rematar, la papelera seguía sucia con restos de los anteriores huéspedes, lo que deja clara la falta de cuidado en la limpieza y el control de las habitaciones. Al informar en recepción del error, el personal intentó “solucionarlo” ofreciéndonos otra habitación similar, pero de menor calidad e inferior categoría a la que habíamos pagado, sin plantear en ningún momento devolver la diferencia de precio ni ofrecer una compensación mínima. Es decir, pretendían que aceptáramos una habitación peor, pagando lo mismo. Esa noche no había ningún responsable ni encargado disponible que pudiera tomar una decisión real, por lo que no nos quedó más remedio que dormir allí la primera noche, aun sabiendo que no era lo que habíamos reservado ni lo que habíamos pagado. Al día siguiente, ya con más calma, solicitamos marcharnos del hotel y un reembolso proporcional por las noches no disfrutadas, teniendo en cuenta que el servicio ofrecido no coincidía con la reserva original y que el problema venía claramente de su gestión. La respuesta fue un no rotundo: nos denegaron cualquier devolución y se quedaron con todo el dinero de las noches restantes ya pagadas, a pesar de que decidimos irnos precisamente por su error y su falta de voluntad para solucionarlo correctamente. En resumen, un sitio al que no pienso volver y que, en mi opinión, otros viajeros deberían evitar. No solo por el fallo en el tipo de habitación y el estado de limpieza, sino sobre todo por la forma de gestionar el problema, la ausencia de un responsable cuando se le necesita y la negativa absoluta a ofrecer un reembolso justo. Un ejemplo claro de cómo no debe actuar un hotel con sus clientes.

• Alfred E. Neumann 1999 (8/5): Wir kommen sehr gern wieder. - Ein cooles "altes" Hotel in bester Lage. Alt - nicht falsch verstehen. Es ist ein altes Haus mit sehr viel Charme und sehr schönen Inventar. Alles gut.

• Philipp (1/5): - Lage war gut Als wir nach 7h Anfahrt ankamen war das Hotelzimmer nicht fertig hergerichtet. Also sind wir um 15:00 Uhr (wie angegeben) wieder gekommen. Hier wurde uns dann der Schlüssel gegeben. Also sind wir (müde von der Anfahrt) ins Zimmer gegangen. Wo wir dann allerdings feststellen mussten, dass es nicht angerührt wurde seit der letzte Gast raus ist. Man bot uns ein Ersatzzimmer an. Auch dieses nicht sauber. Dann hat man uns gebeten doch bitte eine halbe Stunde im Hotelgang auf einem Sofa zu warten. Kein Anbieten von Getränken oder Ähnliches. Nach 25 Minuten kam dann die Mitarbeiterin und meinte, dass sie nun nur noch saugen müsse. Aber leider nicht weiß wo der Staubsauger sei. Reinigungspersonal war anscheinend nicht erreichbar. Bei Abreise wollte man uns dann auch noch die Parkgebühr doppelt verrechnen. Dies haben wir nicht bezahlt.
