- James (9/5): Extremely welcoming and enjoyable! - Our room was very clean, spacious and had plenty of amenities (we were kindly upgraded to a junior suite). The only negative that we have, is that there was a strong smell of sewage when we opened the balcony doors and use the jacuzzi outside (we fully appreciate that can be out of the hotel's control) but that was the only matter that wasn't fantastic. The smell of sewage coming from outside when we had the balcony doors open or used the jacuzzi on the balcony.

- Alexander (8/5): I recommend Ville Sull'Arno and location - The hotel offers all essential amenities, such as an indoor and outdoor pool, a modest but sufficient gym and spa. Our room was small but comfortable. It's unfortunate that booking through Booking.com resulted in rooms I consider less desirable than those booked directly. We overlooked the busy road from above the reception, but this did not detract from our stay at Ville Sull Arno. Keep in mind that the roads are currently under construction for the new tram line. I think Booking.com might sometimes have rooms that aren't quite as nice as those from other providers. That's just my personal thought about Booking.com, and I’d be happy to be proven otherwise! I suggest considering Ville Sull'Arno as a good option, although it might be a bit too far for older family members to walk into the city.

Colazione ottima ed abbondante, dolce e salato presenti in varietà e di buona qualità (la sala colazione è stupenda). La spa non è molto grande ma ben curata, piacevole la piscina al coperto. Struttura molto ben tenuta, personale estremamente cordiale e disponibile.

Frukosten var bland de bästa hotellfrukostar jag ätit (inte största) men hög kvalitét på allt som serverades. Lite långt om man vill gå in till stadskärnan iaf om det är varmt eller lite sämre väder. - Jane (8/5): Kam anbefales, hvis man vil bo lidt væk fra centrum, men i stedet ha’ pool og “feriestemning”. - Faciliteterne var fine - dejlig pool og fint spa-område. Godt med afslappet barmenu til frokost eller den lille sult. Man skal være klar over, at der er ca. 45 minutters gang til city. Dog er der en shuttle på faste tider. Maden i restauranten var god og rimelig i pris, men ikke gourmet.
- Ziad (6/5): It is a nice facilty with rude unclean staff that is not the premium location (everything is +30 minutes walk). - The history and the facilities and the outside look. The cleaning and the service staff feels like they are forced to help around or clean the room. However, the waiters were nice and good in the restaurant. Be ware of the charge on exit as they put a tip of more than 90 euros on the tap without telling you until you catch it and adjust/remove it yourself.

It completes the entire experience in a way that makes you not want to leave. Ville sull’Arno is one of those rare places where luxury is not loud, but deeply felt. - SHAKEYJAKEY1 (10/5): Lovely place - My wife and I stayed here for 3 nights in a fantastic spacious room with a spa bath, overlooking the River Arno with a private balcony. We were celebrating our 10th wedding anniversary which the hotel honoured with various special touches, thank you! We loved using the spa and had it to ourselves on numerous occasions. The food is excellent and we enjoyed the breakfast as well as an evening meal (the Florentine Steak is incredible!) The outdoor pool area is lovely to laze around in the sun. We used the free shuttle bus which drops you right into the centre of town and collects you also. The staff are all very attentive and helpful. We will definitely stay here again when in Florence!

Das Frühstück war ebenfalls hervorragend mit hochwertigen Lebensmitteln zubereitet Parkgebühr von 29,- Euro täglich und das automatische berechnen des Trinkgeldes sollte bei Buchung angegeben werden.

- Elise (9/5): Super! - Super fijn verblijf gehad met onze hond en baby. Het personeel was zo lief en vriendelijk voor onze hond en baby, dat vinden we altijd zo belangrijk! Verder een mooi schoon hotel, we maakte elke dag een wandeling naar het centrum van Florence, ongeveer 30 min lopen. Heel fijn hotel en het was ook prettig dat er room service was zodat we soms met ons zoontje op de kamer konden eten. Het ontbijt was ook heel goed en gevarieerd! Zou dit hotel zeker aanraden!

Service exceptional - friendly and nothing too much trouble. Fabulous room overlooking the river, light and spacious. Excellent free cocktail in the bar! Breakfast ample with great service. - seantL3466EE (10/5): Great stay for Spring Break - Quality boutique hotel. We were close to where our daughter was staying and outside ZTL on the river. Free shuttles to downtown Florence. The breakfasts were delicious and we ate dinner at the hotel which was authentic Tuscan specialties. The front desk was so courteous and helpful. The Turkish bath and sauna were bonuses. They made it easy handling our rental car even when we had to leave at 3 am our final night

The on-site restaurant was very good, as were the on-site spa facilities. A welcome bonus was the shuttle to the city center which operated pick & drop services multiple times a day!

The breakfast staff were extremely polite, warm, and welcoming, which made the mornings especially pleasant. The staff from reception were also amazing, thoughtful and professional. The room was spacious and had a strong vintage, historic character. If you appreciate Renaissance aesthetics or have an interest in the Medici era, you would absolutely love staying here. The mattress was a bit too soft for our personal preference, so it wasn’t the most comfortable for us. My girlfriend and I tend to prefer firmer mattresses, as they are better for our backs. This is purely a matter of personal preference and not a reflection of the quality of the hotel.
