Location is wonderful, also in terms of public transportation The room under the roof 234, was a little small. It doesn’t have enough electrical outlets to plug appliances like telephone and Computer or they are hard to reach. Maybe it’s meant to be a one person room, because there were 2 single beds, one lower than the other which had an extra mattress on it to level. That was uncomfortable.

I book for group of 20 people for my company, Due to a mistake on the part of the hotel, the staff refused to provide breakfast in a very unfriendly manner, even though it had already been paid for (via RAI Hotel Service). 3. The voucher next to the minibar mentions in very small print that the free drink is only valid at the restaurant. I find this way of misleading customers dishonest. 4. After the check out, staff added drinks I did not take from the mini bar 5. For dinner we were 15 peoples. We were obliged to take a full menu despite the most of people wanted light dinner.
• Soren (4/5): décevant - La situation géographique de l’hôtel est très pratique et bien située. Le restaurant est agréable et la qualité des repas est au rendez-vous. Les parties communes de l’hôtel sont jolies, bien entretenues et donnent une bonne première impression. L’insonorisation est vraiment insuffisante : les murs semblent très fins. Nous entendions tout ce qui se passait dans les chambres voisines, même des bruits très légers comme quelqu’un qui branche quelque chose dans une prise. Nous pouvions aussi entendre les chambres en face de la nôtre. Les casiers/portes font énormément de bruit, ce qui ajoute encore aux nuisances sonores. Résultat : nous avons très mal dormi. Le prix est, selon nous, beaucoup trop élevé par rapport à la qualité globale de l’établissement. Le rapport qualité-prix n’est clairement pas au rendez-vous.

• Monica (8/5): - Beautiful hotel with easy access to Oosterpark, attentive staff, great location, great mix of historical and modern facilites, the food at the restaurant is worth the price. Thin walls (the couple staying next to mine had a baby and I can hear him crying very loudly). The site approved a late check-in at a specific time I requested, but the reservation was cancelled for that very reason (they mentioned my reservation was cancelled due to a "no-show up" at the regular check-in times and disregarded the late check-in approved request). I was fortunate the staff was very friendly and capable to reinstate it, but in a few hours.

• Assel (10/5): - Hotel Arena in Amsterdam was a fantastic place to stay. The location is beautiful, right next to the park, with a calm and relaxing atmosphere. The room was clean, comfortable, and nicely designed. We especially enjoyed the quiet surroundings after a busy day in Amsterdam. The staff were welcoming and helpful, which made the stay even better. I would definitely come back again and highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Amsterdam.

Leider war das Zimmer sehr schmutzig, im Restaurant sitzt man auf schmutzigen Stühlen, der Zimmersafe funktionierte nicht, es gibt im Bad keine Ablagen für Kosmetiktasche und Kosmetikartikel und Fenster wurden auch schon lange nicht mehr geputzt.

Sehr nettes Personal Relativ lange Wege, Kombination von Lift und Treppensteigen. Badezimmertür endet direkt im Bett, dadurch relativ eng. Zahlung einer Kaution erforderlich.

• B4954WPmiah (6/5): Nice stay overall, but some improvements needed - Hotel is set in a lovely location being oosterpark, restaurant and bar area is nice too. They offer bike rental, umbrella rental and free lockers which are useful to hold luggage if you arrive before check in, or need somewhere to store luggage. We had to change rooms straight after checking in as there was a nail poking through the floorboards. Second room was much more spacious however there was an awful sewage smell from bathroom if shower/toilet was used. Our room was only cleaned once, you are advised to put the ‘clean my room’ sign out if you’d like your room to be cleaned however it was only cleaned once despite putting this out each day. We stayed in 225 and within this section there were a number of rooms being renovated, so there was lots of noise with construction being carried out. Not ideal being woken up by construction, however didn’t bother us too much during the day as we were out and about. Distance to centre of Amsterdam is a fair walk. Having been before and stayed in a different area, I’d suggest if you are planning on walking into the centre most days, stay somewhere a little closer than Hotel Arena.

• Freimut (7/5): Hotel in guter Lage mit Potential nach oben. - Die Lage des Hotels ist gut. Binnen 20 Minuten ist man fussläufig in der Innenstadt. Auch die Lage des Hotels am Eingang zu einen Park ist sehr schön. In vielen Bereichen war das Hotel leider nicht ganz so sauber. Die Aufzüge und auch manche Flure waren nicht sauber. Es fehlt hier anscheinend eine Person im Hotel, die täglich durchschaut und Mängel wie auch die Reinlichkeit aufzeigt bzw. überprüft. Auffallend war, dass 3 Tage nach unserer Anreise im Flur immer noch Gläser, leere Sektflasche und Saftflaschen herumstanden. Sehr unangenehm waren die warmen Temperaturen, zwischen 25-27 Grad im oberen Schlafbereich. Das Klimagerät ist auf 18 Grad nach unten begrenzt und somit lässt sich der obere Bereich des Zimmers nicht herunterkühlen. Eigentlich müsste nach dem thermischen Gesetz die warme Luft oben abgesagt werden und unten wieder gekühlt eingeblasen werden. Die kalte Luft strömt nach ihrer Erwärmung eh wieder nach oben. Das Klimagerät ist bei voller Leistung zudem unangenehm laut.
• Jasper (6/5): Expensive, pretty average, wish we were invited to the loud wedding - Amazing location, beautiful building, amazing bar area. Stunning rooms, albeit starting to age slightly. This is and remains one of my favourite spots in Amsterdam, but they need to be careful when it comes to value for money. I’ve stayed here 3 times before (for business), sadly this stay (for personal use) was pretty poor. For £250 a night I was surprised at how we were treated. 1) my wife needed the room early for work calls (messaged in advance, only 1.5 hours in advance), but they couldn’t facilitate at all. 2) very noisy room in the AM (our room was evidently next to the area where the cleaning staff aggregate mugs, bedding, cups etc. which meant lots of banging and clanging from around 8am, which wasn’t great and meant a disrupted sleep. 3) room was not that clean, dirty floor when we came in, 4) shower would flood instantly when used, so we had to put a towel down (a barrier) to prevent water sitting near the loo, 5) there was a massive wedding the the hotel which meant the nights stay was veryyyyy loud and chaotic (pure chaos in the evening with drunk guests), i understand that the hotel would have made lots of €€€ that night, but I feel normal guests were completely negated, 6) room was not turned around despite asking for this before we went out on the 2nd night (no towels changed (after we used them to mop the flooded shower), no coffee reset etc.), which was really bad

Kahve makinası detayı iyi. 1.Resepsiyonda yaşımızdan ötürü diz problemi yaşadığımızı söylediğimiz halde bize daracık merdivenli asma katlı bir oda verdiler ,her lavabo ihtiyacımız için daracık, tutunma bariyeri olmayan, dik bir merdivenden inip çıktık. Banyo yaparken duş zemininde yükselti olmadığı için tüm tuvalet, banyo su içinde kaldı ,odada havlu kaydırmaz bir duş terliği yoktu, ıslak zemine basarken düşme tehlikesi geçirdik. Odada ütü yoktu. konakladığımız üç gün boyunca hayatımızdaki en kötü yastıklarda uyumak zorunda kaldık. Yastıkların içi boştu, boyutları kareydi. ortopedik değildi. Defalarca yastık istedik resepsiyondan ama göndereceğiz deyip göndermediler. 2.gün odamız değişti , yeni odamızda merdiven yoktu ama bu seferde ses izolasyonu çok kötüydü, koridor ahşap ve çok eskiydi, yer yer halı altındaki boşluklara bastıkça zemin sallanıyordu. Tüm ayak sesleri ve konuşmalar odamızın içindeydi, bir de odaların tam ortasına denk gelen küçücük bir alanda düğün töreni vardı müzik ve kalabalığın gürültüsünden uyuyamadık. Odamızda İki single yatağı birleştirmişler ve çift kişilik yatak yapmışlar , uyurken farkında olmadan ortaya doğru kim gelirse iki yatağın arası açılıyor ve ortada boşluk oluşuyor. Bir diğer üzüldüğümüz olay arkadaşım ingilizce bilmediği için ben parkta yürüyüş yaparken kahvaltı için oda numarası isteyen bir görevli ile dil problemi yaşamış .Ben yanlarına gittiğimde personel son derece kaba bir şekilde yüksek sesle bağırarak arkadaşımı azarlıyordu. Oysa ki bir kağıt kalem uzatsa arkadaşım oda numarasını direkt yazabilirdi. Peynir ülkesinde otel kahvaltısında daha çok peynir çeşidi görmek isterdik. Üç gün boyunca aynı iki peyniri yedik. Resepsiyondaki görevliler güler yüzlü idi ama bir yastık talebimizi üç gün çözemediler.

• javier (8/5): Ubicación perfecta y limpio pero muy caro para calidad de habitaciones. - La ubicación es lo mejor de este hotel. También su calidad, porque es moderno, limpio y muy bonito. Lo malo: que no vale enteramente lo que cuesta. Las habitaciones son lofts con escaleras muy estrechas y el espacio es realmente reducido. Para una noche lo aguantas pero si vas a estar más, acaba siendo cargante.

We struggled a bit with the temperature in our room, and I wish the restaurant catered better to veggies. But small feedback.

The hotel is quite large, which actually made it a bit fun at times trying to find our room. - A large, well-kept hotel that feels very comfortable overall. Everything was clean and had a pleasant smell throughout the property. The location is great, making it easy to get around and explore the area. I wasn’t a fan of the bathroom layout in the room, as it had a glass wall and didn’t offer much privacy when sharing with someone, especially in a twin room with single beds. Aside from that, everything else was great and I had an enjoyable stay overall.

Hyggelig betjening. Koselig restaurant, og flott gårdsrom der man kunne sitte fint og rolig med en drink. Fin park rett utenfor. Litt slitsomt med lang, bratt trapp opp til soverommet. Litt bråk fra gata utenfor.

• Chloe (10/5): Comfortable stay in peaceful park in Amsterdam - Located in a residential park, restaurant and outdoor area have a great ambience and the room is spacious and comes with everything you need including a coffee machine! The shower in the room didn’t have a ledge or door to close the shower so it was a bit cold and left a significant amount of water on the floor. Restaurant a bit overpriced
