• Ann (9/5): Wonderful MidTown Hotel - The room was spacious, quiet and clean. The location was perfect, near Grand Central and easy to get anywhere in the city: the Bronx, SoHo, and Brooklyn. Staff was very friendly and helpful. I loved the Agency of Record bar next door. Great design and cocktails too. There could have been a luggage rack and the mirror structure would have been a good place to incorporate that. Instead the mirror was projecting off the wall and taking up valuable space in the room.

Petite salle de sport avec la possibilité de remplir sa gourde avec une station d'eau filtrée Le premier soir, une première chambre qui ne correspondait pas à notre réservation mais le changement a été effectué dès le lendemain matin avec un personnel à l'écoute qui a fait au mieux et nous a permis d'avoir ensuite une très belle vue. Climatisation/ventilation qui fonctionne mais difficile à régler
• Lucia (9/5): Sehr schöner Aufenthalt in Zentraler Lage. Top Hotelangestellte. Sehr Sauber! - Die Lage ist sehr gut. Man kann sehr viel zu Fuß machen, aber die Subaway z.b. Grand Central Station oder am Bryant Park ist ist in der Nähe. Das Personal ist außerordentlich nett und hilfsbereit! Schönes Boutique-Hotel! Orginell eingerichtet. Zimmer sehr sauber. Das Hotel liegt in Midtown - sehr zentral. Es ist eigentlich nie ruhig auf den Straßen und das hört man auch im Zimmer. Wir haben es nicht als störend empfunden.

Beim Einchecken wurde meine Kreditkarte eingelesen, angeblich nur zur Kontrolle. Meine Kreditkarte wurde mit 200 Dollar belastet, obwohl ich die Hotelkosten komplett bei Booking.com bezahlt habe. Hier würde ich mir bei der Buchung mehr Transparenz wünschen, dass vor Ort noch weitere Kosten hinzukommen. Das ist nicht die feine Art.

• Victoria (8/5): Bel hôtel bien situé - Le rapport qualité prix de l’hôtel était très bon car les chambres sont très spacieuses, le lit était également très grand et surtout d’un incroyable confort ce qui est très agréable ! L’emplacement proche de la gare centrale est juste parfait car il permet d’être proche de tout en seulement quelques arrêts de métro, je recommande vivement. Les espaces communs sont joliment décorés Nous avions malheureusement vu sur un mur (malgré plusieurs demandes anticipées de la part pour avoir une vue dégagée) donc non seulement ce n’est pas très joli mais en plus nous n’avions pas de luminosité donc la chambre était très sombre. La salle de bain est de taille correcte en revanche le lavabo était minuscule je n’avais jamais vu ça dans un hôtel et il n’y a aucun endroit où poser ses affaires dans la salle de bain, nous avons dû tout laisser sur le bureau de la chambre (pas super pratique)

• Kelly (10/5): Excellent hotel in a great Midtown location - The room more than met our expectations, with plenty of space (especially for Midtown Manhattan) and clean and well-maintained. The view of the Empire State building was amazing, and the staff could not have been more accommodating and helpful. We also loved the location, with walkable access to both Grand Central, Bryant Park and Times Square/Theatre District. We would happily stay there again. Nothing negative comes to mind. It wasn't a cheap stay, but none of the places in that area will be. I felt it was a good value for what we got and the excellent staff.

When arriving at the front desk the employee told us we still had to pay the local tax. However I showed him our confirmation with Booking, which included all taxes, he would'nt believe us. He put a deposit of approximately 600$ on my Mastercard. A day after checking out the Renwick charged the full stay EXTRA on my Mastercard (however everything was paid with booking) AND they put an EXTRA deposit on my Mastercard for approximately 1800$ Now, TWO weeks after our stay there still has been NO refund, nor a complete answer. I have reached out to The Renwick itself, as well as to Booking.com Our stay was booked with Booking.com AND fully paid. • Erwin (8/5): Fijn verblijf - De locatie is prima, gunstig gelegen op enkele minuten lopen van Central Station en de Chrysler Building. Verschillende koffieshops en broodjeszaken in de buurt. Bryant Park is ook op loopafstand. De kamer is ruim opgezet met 2 kingsize bedden en voldoende opbergruimte. De badkamer schoon en ruim genoeg. Een waterkoker is toch wel een gemis. Hoewel er gratis koffie en thee beschikbaar is, is dat niet de hele dag door, dus in de avond een kopje thee of koffie op de kamer is wel lekker.

• robinbQ6400JV (8/5): Good Location, Rooms, Rate + 2 Queens - Good location, rooms and rate. We were pleased that this room had 2 queen beds -- a rarity in many NYC hotels. The room was also fairly spacious, particularly for NYC. Our only criticism (if there is one) is that the room was dark, but it was nicely furnished, in good condition and clean.

• Scenic559087 (6/5): Average. The beautiful lobby does not match the room. - The hotel reviews really had me duped. The hotel lobby was small but beautiful. The front desk person was personable and attentive. There was a club/restaurant directly next to the elevator. The elevator does not require a key to get one or to your floor so that is something to consider for security purposes. But the room! The lobby’s clean and beautiful esthetic did not translate to my room. There were stains on the carpet, the windows were duct taped shut as I discovered while I was trying to pull up the shades, the desk chair had a broken wheel that feel out randomly, there were marks on the wall, etc I was so disappointed.

• Paul (8/5): Very pleasant - excellent location makes up for any shortfalls - great value for money. - The location is outstanding making it excellent value for money. You can get virtually anywhere in midtown Manhattan by foot. I didn't use the restaurant as I found it dark and uninviting.

• Screpel (7/5): Bien dans l’ensemble une fois la déception de la chambre non conforme passée. - Grande chambre agréable, emplacement parfait La chambre ne correspondait pas à la description réservée. Il devait il y avoir une chambre fermée + une pièce avec canapé lit. En réalité il n’y avait qu’une seule grande chambre. Le tapis et canapé étaient tachés, rideaux fatigués ça méritait une rénovation. Salle de bain propre et agréable.

• Lata (2/5): Stay at your own risk and be prepared to be ripped off for no reason. - Good location The check in was tough. I had a flight delay so I couldn’t come on the day I was booked- I had messaged the property and got a reply saying it was fine and I could come anytime they were open 24/7. But when I got there, the person was like you are a no show so we don’t have a room- I had to show her my messages and then she spoke to someone- took some time- finally checked me in. The room keys were out of order so I had to be let in- and wait for someone as he was at lunch. The hotel has no services like tea in the room or downstairs. The only tea that was available was at 7 am. Then on checkout, I was charged $229.74 as a no show charge. This the person charged without any word to me. I asked the person straightaway when I saw my bank debit for the amount. He says it was no show charge. Well, I did say I was late and you did say it was okay so where is the no show- flights do get delayed and we are in the middle of several wars, incase you have not noticed. Most air spaces are closed. He asked me to take it up with booking.com. I did and they sent a message from the hotel saying they won’t refund the first night stay- I wasn’t asking for the first night stay- only the no show charge on top of the first night stay. Booking.com asked me to take it up with the hotel. I did message the hotel too. No success. I have paid in full for my stay and no stay $880 or so and another $229.74 for free. I did not ask for the room rent to be refunded- I asked for the no show charge- the hotel writes saying we can’t refund the first night stay. No, it’s not the first night stay. It’s the no show charge I am asking for refunded. So between being a genius level 3 customer of booking.com and a “guest” at the hotel, I’ve had a horrible stay as well as been charged ridiculously extra for a no show. An informed delayed flight is going to be charged?
• Evelyn (8/5): Good location. Would recommend depending on price offered. - Good location. Wonderful staff. Good noise isolation from the street if needed, not so from other rooms. Good-sized room for NYC standards. No coffee machine or kettle in the room. The coffee they offer in the lobby is AWFUL, undrinkable american drip coffee - no tea or anything after 11:00 am. The one sold next door is not good either. Not handicap accessible.

• 150lionelf (10/5): Everything was perfect - We have just spent a week as a family of four in this hotel. The architecture is typical of New York—very beautiful, very clean, and very convenient, especially with its proximity to Grand Central for subway access. The staff is very friendly. Coffee and tea are available at all times. 4 bottles of water every day in the room. The room was spacious and comfortable. We highly recommend this hotel

Bottiglie d'acqua sempre in stanza e possibilità di riempirle nella piccola palestra. Personale disponibile e veramente cordiale! Vasca nel bagno (forse è dovuto alla tipologia di stanza) e polvere...... La struttura ha il suo fascino, ma non è ok per allergici.
