• Evelyne (8/5): Auf jeden Fall zu empfehlen. Tolle Lage, super nettes Personal, sauber und gepflegt. - Die Lage ist sehr gut, gleich bei der Victoria Station. Das Zimmer war ausreichend groß, das Personal ist extrem nett und zuvorkommend. Frühstück wird täglich frisch auf Bestellung zubereitet, es gibt mehrere Auswahlmöglichkeiten zwischen warmen und kalten Optionen, auf Wunsch auch extra Mahlzeiten gegen Aufzahlung (zb Cappuccino anstatt Filterkaffee etc.). Ich komme gerne wieder aber beim nächsten Mal würde ich mir auf jeden Fall ein Zimmer im obersten Geschoss nehmen. Unser Zimmer lag im Ground Floor gleich neben der Rezeption und wir haben nachts jeden Check-in gehört. Man hört auch die Schritte und den Lärm der Zimmer oberhalb.

• Helmut (8/5): Nettes Hotel in guter Lage - Das Hotel ist sehr sauber, auch Bad und Toilette, hochwertige Hand- und Badetücher, Frühstück ist schmackhaft und wird frisch zubereitet. Relativ zentrale Lage, vieles in 30 - 40 Fussminuten erreichbar. Für Besucher die - wie wir - gerne gehen und durch London streifen, gut gelegen. Wie fast überall gute Pubs in der Nähe! Lage zwar zentral, aber ÖPNV fußläufig in der Regel 15-20 Minuten entfernt. Das inkludierte Frühstück ist gutes und frisch zubereitetes englisches Frühstück mit wenig Abwechslung, ansonsten ist Aufpreis fällig. Zwar nicht negativ, aber als Hinweis: es ist ein kleines typisch englisches Hotel, mit schmalen, verwinkelt und engen Gängen und Treppen Es ist - wie in anderen Bewertungen schon festgestellt - sehr hellhörig, was bei uns nicht störend war, weil die Bewohner der entsprechenden Zimmer "unserem" Rhythmus entsprachen. Könnte aber auch anders sein!

• Susan (6/5): Good location, small room - The Windermere Hotel is in a really good location near Victoria Station. It's an easy walk to Westminster and Buckingham Palace. The security is excellent, with someone on reception all the time, and a card entry door - the staff were always very pleasant and helpful. Breakfast was also good. Our room was small for the price - there was only room to open one small case and we were squeezing past each other all the time. You wouldn't want to spend any time in it. It felt a bit dated, particularly the bathroom which could definitely do with an upgrade. The heating arrangement was very strange and unsatisfactory - the room was cold, and the radiators completely cold (including the towel rail), and we were told the air conditioning had been turned off because some guests felt it was too hot, but they could give us a controller (the bracket on the wall was empty) and we could turn it on until the room warmed up, but this would make everyone else's room hot too. We would then have to call them to switch it off.

La Posizione è ottima centrale e silenziosa, vicina alla stazione di Victoria a metro e autobus, 5 minuti a piedi. Essendo una casa Vittoriana le stanze non sono particolarmente silenziose, soprattutto per i rumori interni. La colazione è alla carta, ma la scelta è limitata. Se si soggiorna per più di 4 giorni di fatto si esauriscono le proposte del menu. Il rapporto qualità prezzo non è del tutto soddisfacente.
• SARA (9/5): Bella zona residenziale - Posizione centrale. Ottima colazione. Camera spaziosa (al secondo piano). Unico difetto bagno piccolissimo. In camera c'era sempre una caraffa con acqua, bollitore con the, caffe, lattini e dei biscotti. Consigliatissimo Zona residenziale e molto silenziosa.
• Chenxiao (8/5): Overall nice for a one-night stay in London - The reception and brasserie staff are all friendly and helpful. The room is quite small but clean. The complimentary breakfast is really nice. Not sure if it’s just my room, but the wall between the room and the hallway is super thin. The floor is probably old too and very creaky and I could hear the guests upstairs at night very clearly. Overall it wasn’t too big an issue for me personally, but those more sensitive to noises might be affected.

• Maria (10/5): - Hemos estado 3 dias en Londres y sin duda este es el mejor hotel donde hemos estado. a 10minutos de Victoria, es decir genial para moverse al aeropuerto y metro. Está en una calle tranquila y silenciosa perfecta para descansar. La habitación tiene para tomar cafe, secador de pelo, tv etc. Lo mejor: el personal, no hablamos mucho inglés y no hemos podido interactuar demasiado, pero todos los de recepción y el personal del desayuno hay sido super amables. El desayuno es muy completo y hemos podido combinar algunos platos entre ellos y nos han proporcionado fruta fresca. Sin duda volveremos allí la próxima vez que vayamos a Londres. Gracias por todo!

• Atif (6/5): Cozy hotel for really short stays! - The hotel is very cozy, with a family like feel to it. The staff are nice and are very welcoming especially at breakfast time. The rooms are clean The room we had was very small, especially the bathroom which was the smallest I’ve seen in a hotel. The sink was tiny. The sound isolation is not great, we could hear people moving around the hotel as well as people snoring from the floor above. Windows also did not block the noise so well but thankfully noises from outside remained very quiet after 10pm. Lastly the rooms need updating.

• MIREYA AIDE (7/5): Falta de aire acondicionado - La ubicación y estaba limpio, personal amable Que dice aqui que tiene aire acondicionado y si si lo tiene pero no te dejan usarlo no te dan el control porque el clima es fresco en Londres, pero la habitación no lo es, es calurosa, abrí ventana y no corría aire a pesar estar fresco afuera, además tienen una lámpara afuera en la calle que al abrir la ventana para que entre aire alumbra mucho y no pude dormir bien, entre el calor y la lámpara que iluminaba mucho y no poder cerrar la ventana porque se sentía calor. No pongan que tienen aire acondicionado, ya que no dejan encenderlo al no dar el control . Graciaaaaaas

Les photos montrent plus que ce que c'est. Dans un hotel, on aime bien les petits déjeuners en buffet ce n'était pas le cas.

• Susanne (8/5): Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt und würden das Hotel wieder buchen. - Wir wurden äußerst freundlich empfangen und konnten sowohl vor dem Check-In als auch nach dem Check-Out unser Gepäck im Hotel abstellen. Bei Fragen und Anregungen zur Stadt stand stets jemand an der Rezeption zur Verfügung. Auch das Frühstücks-Restaurant war gemütlich und man wurde freundlich umsorgt. (Man sollte jedoch das englische Frühstück mögen) Ein bisschen mehr Abwechslung beim Frühstück (es fehlte Obst und Marmelade, Honig oder Nuggataufstrich oder Käse) wäre schön gewesen. Aber für 4x frühstücken war es ok.

• Angelique (8/5): Het verblijf is zeker voor herhaling vatbaar. - Het ontbijt was prima . Het meeste personeel was heel vriendelijk. Bed was heel goed. Douche was heerlijk en heel schoon. Douche was een beetje klein. Bovenburen hoorde je goed lopen.
• Astrid (9/5): Top Hotel für einen Aufenthalt in London - Das Hotel liegt in einem schönen, ruhigen Viertel und ist nur ca. 10 Gehminuten vom Bahnhof Victoria entfernt. Es gibt auch einige Bushaltestellen in der Nähe. Die Ausstattung ist zweckmäßig und es ist sauber. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt. Das Frühstück ist sehr lecker und wird frisch zubereitet. In der Umgebung gibt es aber genug Restaurants und Pubs. Das gesamte Personal ist sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Wir würden jederzeit wieder buchen, wenn wir in London sind. Einzig kleiner Minuspunkt sind die einzelnen Treppenstufen, die man vom Aufzug aus noch gehen muss.

• Catharina (10/5): Familiäre Unterkunft mit Stil und Herz - Persönliche Charme schwebt über das Hotel, sehr nette MitarbeiterInnen überall. Gute Betten, individuelle Frühstücksgestaltung. Das Badezimmer hatte eine große schöne Dusche - perfekt! Für müde Füße - oder mehrmaliges "ins-Zentrum-fahren" - vielleicht doch ein paar Häuserblöcke zu weit weg von den öffentlichen Transportmitteln.

• Noora (3/5): Emme tule valitettavasti toiste - Sijainti oli ihan hyvä. Emme oikeastaan missään vaiheessa kokeneet oloamme tervetulleiksi hotelliin, ennemmin oli olo, että olemme haitaksi ja tiellä. Henkilökunta oli muutamaa poikkeusta lukuunottamatta epäystävällisiä. Aamiainen oli iso pettymys. Kolmannen osapuolen kautta hotellihuoneen varanneille aamupala oli eri kuin suoraa hotellista varauksen tehneille. Aamupala oli huomattavasti suppeampi, sitä myöten suorastaan huono. Myös ravintolaan pelkästään aamiaiselle tulleille tarjoiltiin eri ruuat. Tämän myötä aamiaisen arvosteluihin ei ehkä kannata luottaa. Pöydissä oli laput, joissa kerrottiin, että kannattaa jatkossa varata huone suoraa hotellista, jotta saa paremman aamiaisen. Emme kokeneet oikeudenmukaiseksi, että meitä ”rangaistaan” jälkikäteen kolmannen osapuolen käyttämistä huonevarauksessa. Tällaisen toiminnan myötä jää myös miettimään, saako huonompaa palvelua ja huonomman huoneen samasta syystä. Hotellihuoneemme oli myös ala-arvoinen. Suihku ja WC olivat kylpyhuoneessa, mutta allas ei sinne ollut mahtunut, vaan oli makuuhuoneen puolella. Suihku/WC oli erittäin pieni ja siellä toimiminen oli siten erittäin vaikeaa. Itse huone oli nuhjuinen eikä sitä oltu sisustettu laisinkaan. Ei esim. taulua seinällä tmv.

• Britta (8/5): Gutes Preis-Leistungsverhältnis, wirklich zu empfehlen! - Nettes, gut gelegenes Hotel in gepflegter Wohngegend. Gut angebunden, ruhig, sauber und gut geführt. Leckeres Frühstück. Am letzten Morgen mussten wir länger auf einen Tisch im Frühstückscafé warten, da auch Gäste von außerhalb dort frühstücken können. Wurde durch den aufmerksamen und netten Service wieder wett gemacht.

• Elif (9/5): sauberes Hotel in guter Lage - Wir waren für zwei Nächte in diesem Hotel und haben unseren Aufenthalt sehr genossen. Besonders hervorheben möchten wir die unglaublich hilfsbereiten und freundlichen Mitarbeiter – wirklich top! Die Lage ist ebenfalls ein großer Pluspunkt, da das Hotel ganz in der Nähe der Victoria Station liegt und somit perfekt angebunden ist. Das Frühstückskonzept ist etwas anders als erwartet: Statt eines Buffets gibt es frisch zubereitete Speisen. Das war zwar gut, allerdings haben wir ein klassisches Buffet ein wenig vermisst (vor allem Dinge wie Ei, Honig oder Marmelade 😄). Das Hotel war insgesamt sehr sauber und gepflegt. Wir können es auf jeden Fall weiterempfehlen!

• Klas (9/5): Mysigt litet familjehotell i lugnt område med bra standard som ligger centralt och nära bra transporter! - Läget är superbra nära till Victoria station med tåg till/från Gatwick men också tunnelbana och bussar. Litet trevligt familjehotell med trevligt bemötande och bra service. Bra rum! Lite stressigt ibland på frukosten som serveras vid bord vilket är mycket trevligt men blir lite ont om tid ibland trots snabbt arbete av personalen.
