- Melinda (2/5): Avoid this hotel! - Lovely staff - very kind and helpful Almost everything apart from staff! Can’t actually use toilet without door banging against you - it’s way too small. Bed uncomfortable and mattress slants to one side. I’m surprised the toilet issue isn’t looked into. Also the lift never works, shower doesn’t drain properly, mould on curtains, no chest of drawers or cupboard space. For just under £600 for two nights I feel like I’ve been ripped off.

There was no coffee or tea maker in the room, I missed that. On the second day the elevator was out of order, which meant I had to walk steep stairs with my bad knee. Took away a bit of my experience

La posizione è invidiabile adiacente alla stazione, alla partenza dei giri turistici con battelli di ogni compagnia, nell'area centrale più vivace ma senza esserne disturbati, possibili acquisti di ogni genere dai supermercati alle attività per turisti, distante solo dall'area musei d'arte, raggiungibile a piedi con una meravigliosa passeggiata tra i canali della città. possibilità di usufruire della piccola hall al piano terra per fare colazione con una macchina carica di latte fresco che produce un cappuccino come al bar! Personale disponibile che parla più lingue (incluso spagnolo e italiano), per un problema all'ascensore non funzionante e la sfortuna di avere un caviglia in pessime condizioni dopo una caduta per strada ci sono venuti incontro. disponibilità di lasciare gratuitamente i bagagli in luogo custodito la pulizia delle parti comuni, scale ma in particolare i bagni comuni posti al primo piano e ad es il rifornimento di salviettine etc... scale di acceso e corridoi angusti ed articolati per raggiungere la meta, tuttavia la posizione all'ultimo piano era davvero tranquilla e piacevole

- Bruno Madonna (7/5): Hotel under renovation and undisclosed stairs let us down, luckily the staff did their best - Excellent location and reception staff especially Valentina who did an amazing job or resolving problems with our stay Booking.com indicated the property had lifts which was incorrect. Navigating a flight of steep and rickety stairs was required to access any of the rooms. Hotel was being renovated at the time of our stay
- Juerg (7/5): Praktisch und OK. - Sehr gute Lage. Ruhiges Zimmer zum Innenhof. Praktische Einrichtung, alles vorhanden, was man für ein oder zwei Nächte benötigt. Frühstück wird nicht angeboten, aber viele Kaffees in der Umgebung. Kopfkissen unbrauchbar, viel zu dick, nicht elastisch. Unter Art Hotel stelle ich mir etwas anderes vor. Es war einfach ein Zimmer in einem Altbau. Charmant, aber nichts Besonderes.

La cafeteria y locker disponible 24/7 magnifico, siempre fué un buen spot para organizarnos antes de salir o de subir a la habitación. el espacio en la habitación y la disponibilidad del ascensor en la planta baja que sufrió un desperfecto en dias anteriores dejándolo fuera de servicio temporalmente.

- Kuba (7/5): Słaby personel - Blisko centrum. Spałem w tym hotelu kilka razy i bardzo często zdarza się czekać na personel meldujacy na recepcji którego nie ma na miejscu. Nie reagują na dzwoniący telefon czy dzwonek ponieważ nie słyszą bądź są zajęci sprzątaniem pokoi. Straciłem tak ostatnio 30min na czekanie i szukanie personelu po korytarzach hotelu. Płacimy za noc hotelowa więc jeśli nie ma automatycznego meldunku to ktoś powinien na recepcji być zawsze mobilny by nie marnować swojego czasu.

- Martin_22 (8/5): Hôtel de charme, bien situé pour un séjour agréable - Hôtel excellemment situé au centre d'Amsterdam à quelques minutes à pieds de la gare centrale et de tous les lieux historiques. Chambre petite, le lit prend toute la largeur de la pièce mais très bien agencée (réfrigérateur, coffre fort, télévision, wifi), toilette - salle d'eau individuelle. Le lit "king size" est très spacieux et confortable, l'éclairage est varié, la salle d'eau est récente et très bien entretenue. Le plus de cet hôtel est l'accueil, le professionnalisme et la gentillesse du personnel qui fait tout pour que vous passiez un agréable séjour. L'escalier, type échelle de meunier, pour monter de l'accueil au 1er niveau où se trouve l'ascenseur. Le bruit de couloir des voisins qui sont rentrés "avinés" tard dans la nuit.

The staff are very friendly, the heating worked perfectly and it was okay for short term stay. We booked from one day to another, so the prices were up and the room was very small, but not necessarily a criticism.

- Liana (4/5): Disappointing but at least it was central. - The location was close to the train station. The room was tiny, had minimal amenities, and was very plain. Not at all ‘dressed up’ like the pictures or at all what we expected for a “fashion” hotel. It was completely plain like a travelodge. Our room was also next to the lift and stairwell that we could hear people using 24 hours a day. The desk was allegedly 24 hours but we only saw the person who checked us in and out. The coffee machine was supposed to be available between 7-9 but wasn’t working 2/3 times we went to use it. No extraction or window in the bathroom. On the third day the hand soap had been removed there was just the hotel shower gel. I paid over €800 for 3 nights!!!!

I feel that we should have been given a discount considering the noise from the construction and the elevator out of order

- Shu Ya (9/5): - Location couldn’t have been better. It’s super close to Amsterdam Central yet at night it is quiet and you can sleep peacefully. Having individual airco in the room is also a huge plus as you can turn it on just when you need it. Staff were friendly and helpful throughout the stay ;)

Lift was broken so had to climb narrow creaky stairs all the way to the top floor, with cases.

- Kyle (10/5): - Great short stay on a weekend trip to Amsterdam. The place is very close to Centraal and quite easy to find. Close to most attractions and places for food and shopping. My room was surprisingly larger than the picture (a rarity in booking.com). What stood out about my stay was how kind the staffs were. It was a really short trip but every interaction I had with the staffs has been pleasant, they were very welcoming and friendly.

- Michelle (4/5): Un hôtel qui ne correspond pas à sa description sur son site ! - La localisation très proche de la gare. Pour le prix payé, cet hôtel est décevant. En effet, la chambre réservée ne correspond absolument pas aux photos du site (pourtant réservation d'une chambre de luxe). Les rideaux laissent passer la lumière du jour, la salle de bain est petite, mal éclairée et ventilée. Les lampadaires qui servent de lampes de chevet ne s'éteignent pas depuis le lit. Nous étions au 5ème étage et malheureusement pour nous, l'ascenseur était en panne et il y avait des travaux dans les couloirs... La salle à manger que vous voyez sur les photos du site n'existe pas. Il s'agit juste d'une pièce ou plutôt d'un couloir exigu. Quelques tables et chaises vous permettent de prendre un café et un thé (gratuit) avec une machine posée sur un bahut. Il vous faudra cependant, jongler avec les voyageurs qui tentent d'atteindre le local sécurisé pour déposer leurs bagages. Tout le monde empruntant ce fameux couloir de détente appelé "pompeusement" la salle à manger.

- Harriet (5/5): Expense for what we got. - The hotel was in a good location, staff were helpful. We didn't get one of the 'designed' rooms. The bed in the room we had touched 3 walls it was such a small room. No kettle or tea making facilities. The safe was strapped to the fridge.

- Marco (7/5): Posizione e personale super,ma... - Posizione super strategica per tutti i punti di interesse principali e vicino alla stazione, personale super cortese e disponibile, molti spazi condivisi e funzionali, caffè the gratuiti sempre disponibili, doccia del bagno nuova e grande. Camera molto piccola e senza punti di appoggio, noi viaggiavano con 2 zainetti e non abbiamo potuto disfarli, il phon era dentro la cassaforte sospesa al muro, perché unico posto disponibile. La Camera aveva una finestra che dava nel corridoio interno e per giunta bloccata(un po claustrofobica). Presenti 2 cuscini,ma entrambi alti, alla richiesta di uno basso, non era disponibile. Prezzo non proprio economico per quello che offre.
