Jill (10/5): Perfect hotel in Rome!! - We loved everything about this property! The location is ideal, the rooms are very well equipped and comfortable, the breakfast is divine and this hotel is literally in THE PRETTIEST street in all of Rome.
Serdan (9/5): Overall still a good stay thanks to the location and atmosphere, but the climate control policy is w - A great location that truly delivers on its promise — steps away from Piazza di Spagna and the Spanish Steps, which made exploring the city incredibly easy. The atmosphere and decor of the property have a charming, intimate character that felt genuinely Roman rather than generic hotel. The staff were attentive and warm throughout our stay. A few small things could be polished here and there, but nothing that affected the overall experience meaningfully. Would recommend for couples or anyone wanting to be right in the heart of Rome. The one notable downside: the room was uncomfortably warm during our late April stay, and we were told the air conditioning cooling mode was not yet activated for the season. For a city that can get quite hot in spring, this felt like an unnecessary inconvenience — it did affect our sleep comfort. Something worth knowing if you're visiting in April or May.

Az egyik szoba ablaka a lifthofra nyílik, de nem kell megijedni, az tiszta, és egyáltalán nem büdös, a másik szoba ablaka az utcai közlekedőre nyilt, az is rendben volt. A szobák jól felszereltek, még esernyő is van. Igényes az egész szálloda. MÉG VISSZAMEGYEK Érkezéskor kauciót vonnak le a kártyáról (ezt sehol nem jelzik előre), de kijelentkezés után egy nappal már vissza is kaptam.

As a family of 5 it can be hard to find room configurations that work but Maison Roma’s family suite was perfect, offering privacy for parents and kids alike within one suite. It was my husband’s 50th birthday and the staff went above and beyond helping to book restaurants, making recommendations and providing wonderful drinks and pastries to celebrate. The location was excellent on a beautiful, quiet, yet historic street near the Spanish steps. Highly recommend and hope to return. Nothing, it was excellent.

We went in early April and while it was warm the AC was not yet on, so we were told to open the windows. This wouldn’t normally be an issues however our room opened to the courtyard below where people would be smoking. As non-smokers this was a challenge for sleeping at night since we had to keep the windows closed to avoid smoke fumes entering the room which got quite hot.

VHAKAK (10/5): Wonderful hotel - Stayed for 4 nights, on our first visit to Rome. The hotel location was perfect, on a beautiful quiet street 5 minutes walk from the Spanish Steps. Our bedroom, breakfast buffet and the hotel ambiance were all great, but the team of people that work there were what made our experience truly exceptional; everyone was so kind, helpful, friendly, and we were made to feel genuinely welcome. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend staying here, and hope that one day we will return.

588alexander (6/5): Great location, amazing staff but some room for improvement - My partner and I stayed here for a week in January. This hotel is truly located in the heart of Rome, close to absolutely everything. The staff is fantastic, incredibly accommodating and friendly! Housed in a former monastery, the hotel features a very beautiful exterior, lobby, and dining hall. However, there are a few things we believe the hotel could do to contribute to an even better experience. The hotel relies heavily on its location, and while the appearance suggests an upscale hotel, to be honest, we didn't unfortunately quite get that same feeling throughout our stay. We were assigned a room on the first floor. We had expected the room to be more inviting and offer the same feeling we met upon arrival. It was also very noisy on our floor. If you stay here, be prepared for loud door slamming and hearing other guests passing in the corridor. This applies to the afternoon, evening and night, so to avoid waking up at night – bring earplugs! We really hope the hotel finds a solution for this. We also felt the AC in the room wasn't the best. It didn't affect us much since we were out most of the day, but when we woke up in the morning, the room felt warm and stuffy. The bed however was comfy and nice. Unfortunately, the breakfast and food did not quite meet our expectations. There was an impressive selection of sweets and pastries for breakfast, but other aspects could be improved. For example, unless we went down when breakfast opened, the hot dishes, like the scrambled eggs, were often barely warm or cold even. The bacon was often overcooked or burnt. On one occasion, after a long day out, we ordered toast at the hotel. We were obviously aware of what we were ordering, but for 15 euros per person, receiving industrial sliced bread felt a bit sad and uninspired, especially in a country like Italy with its amazing food culture. It was such a contrast to what we had become accustomed to in the city. In summary: friendly staff and a great location. Less good were the room and the food.

SHIBANI (5/5): Great location but not worth the price of the room. - Front desk staff Francesca was very nice and very very helpful. We appreciated that. The location is fantastic Paper cups in the room dilute the experience. Housekeeping was below average. Towels were store so high I couldn’t reach without climbing the toilet bowl. Risky. Many times the dirty tea pot or cups were not cleaned unless I called the front desk. There was no tea or kettle in the room -had to call for it. Not acceptable for a 500 euro a night room. We were offered a choice between a king or twin beds. We chose twins but the room was so tiny that both twin beds were placed adjoining each other and kept sliding in the night as my son rolled across the gap. Very uncomfortable. But o was too tired to pack and unpack again and again to change rooms. Management of the hotel needs more work. There is no sense of luxury at all.

azzurri4ever (10/5): A pleasant stay in the historic center of Rome - We found Maison Roma to be the perfect hotel for our needs. It is located in Via Margutta, one of the most roman of the Roman streets. The location was ideal for us because we wanted to be at a reasonable walking distance to the major sites of historic Rome. The hotel is between Piazza di Spagna and Piazza del Popolo so we were able to easily stroll to the various landmarks (Pantheon, Fontana di Trevi, Piazza Navona, Piazza di Spagna, just to mention a few). The Vatican is little far, but we found it to be a pleasant walk. We were in Rome for the Jubilee, and the staff was extremely helpful. For those how need public transportation there is a Metro station, Spagna, nearby. The room was reasonably large and well appointed. The staff was always ready to help without being intrusive. The buffet breakfast was very good and the gentleman there made a good espresso. We shall return for sure
