- BRENDA (8/5): The beach is beautiful, food is great, the rooms need some care and renovation - The location, the beach is beautiful It seemed it needed maintenance, the fridge didn’t work and I went with my baby so it was much needed. The curtain was broken so we couldn’t work the blackout for naps and nighttime, I reported it many times and they didn’t fix it until the third time I actually went to the lobby. So half our stay our curtains didn’t work.

- Manuel (10/5): Great stay, wonderful staff - Wonderful Location, beautiful gardens and public spaces beach is astonishing.Breakfast is delicious and with a great selection of fresh items including always some type of daily Mexican dish which is a highlight. I was given a room lacking furniture, and very disappointing layout compared to the other times I had stayed here.I always book same category (King size ocean view) what a surprise to see this type of room.Thankfully once I called, they rectified their mistake immediately and move me to a “normal” king ocean view. Staff in pools, brach and restaurants is great as well as in concierge. Reception staff is a hit and miss and it’s the first impression to guests. General Manager is such a fine gentleman, Martiniano and Ruben on the beach are Outstanding. It’s always a pleasure to comeback to Presidente Intercontinental

As a regular customer I would like to rate and recommend this 5 star resort 🌟 We have been to 5 different rooms over this years since 2020. Face the beach or the lagoon both side as impressive. Breakfast is wonderful as the restaurant is face the beach. The service is impressive with great staff Gustavo, Jonathan, Antonio super attentive always around to make sure you are having good options. I hope this review can reach that team. Housekeeping really good, fresh towels, turndown everyday. Room is sparkling and very presented. The service on the beach and pool is excellent. The staff always around providing the best service I’ve even seen. The only thing that I would recommend to the hotel is make The Gym better providing more machines, leg press, cross training, hatch squat machine, more benches and dumbbells as the place is big it can fit more machines there. I have been 5x times since 2020 over 6 years never seen any new equipment and the guests using the Gym lots. Another thing was a bit disappointing was serving squash as orange juice is really bad giving the standard of the hotel. It doesn’t match with the 5 star resort. Luckily we’ve found natural orange juice in the Cafe just upstairs with a good view. I hope the hotel can read this review and make this few things better for the guest. Super recommend the place for honey moon, there’s nice restaurants, food is one of the best 🤗

When we first arrived, they gave us a room with the view of the Nichupte Lagoon. The room, was moldy, smelled bad. Seems like it was not opened or maintained for a while. They moved us to another room, a view of the parking lot. Breakfast was ok but expensive. Front desk would not check us in until after 3pm, even though they had rooms available. Desk people, very sour attitude, not nice, helpful. We waited in the lobby. Overpaid for this night through Booking.com and hotel. Luckily, we only paid for 1 night and found Kin Ha., Beach Escape suites next door. Stayed with them for 2 nights….amazing stay at Beach Escape. Doesn't deserve an excellent rating. Shame on you BOOKING.COM

Here’s a short and professional summary you can use: Our stay was extremely disappointing due to poor customer service and serious safety concerns. From the moment we arrived, the staff treated us poorly and refused to check us in because our daughter did not have a physical ID, even though both parents provided all necessary documents. During our stay, I suffered food poisoning after eating shrimp at the hotel restaurant and spent the entire night vomiting. When I reported the issue to the front desk, the staff dismissed my concerns, made excuses, and showed no urgency or care, despite the possibility that other guests could also become sick. No compensation was offered. In addition, our children’s plastic bathtub filled with toys was stolen. We asked the hotel staff for assistance locating it, but once again our concerns were ignored and no meaningful help was provided. Overall, the hotel staff was unprofessional, unhelpful, and showed no concern for guest safety or satisfaction.

- Constantin (8/5): A perfect beach is worth all compromises. - This hotel has the perfect beach (no seaweed) and a very nice layout of the outdoor facilities. Very friendly and helpful reception staff. The hotel director made multiple rounds per day to see if everything is OK. The hotel itself is rather outdated. In both rooms we had the aircondition was faulty. In one we could not get the temperature above 17°C at the other the ventilation was only max or none. The Breakfast restaurant staff was overwhelmed with the number of guests.

Non mi è piaciuto vedere persone arrivare presto per posizionare gli asciugamani mai successo prima , ma comprensibile dal momento che i posti sono molto limitati. Non mi piace l’idea che chiunque può accedere dalla spiaggia e prendere gli asciugamani come gli ospiti dell’hotel questo perché non c’è nessun controllo sicurezza Non lo consiglio per chi desidera fare un soggiorno relax va bene per una notte in transito.

- Robert (8/5): Wonderful place for a beach vacation - Nice beach, excellent gym, good kid-friendly swimming pools, rooms are regular comfortable hotels rooms with coffee machine and min fridge. Life guards on duty during the day watching over the beach area which was wonderful for open water swimming and had a very large designated swimming area marked off by buoys to keep motorboat traffic out of the swim area. I made good use of the paddle boards. Also, I especially appreciated that this hotel in not all inclusive, while I loved the restaurants at the hotel, I was also interested in dining in the city center. I would appreciate some more shaded areas both at the pools and on the beach. Perhaps some umbrellas could be added.

Der Strand war großartig, schön gepflegt und sauber. Es gab immer ausreichende Liegen. Wäre nett wenn das Hotel mehr Programm anbieten würde, abr im Grunde war es alles ok. Wir haben nahe gelegene Zimmern, aber das wurde nicht erfüllt. Dafür haben Sie uns ein etwas besseres Zimmer mit Pool Blick, was für die Hunde nähe zum Hundeparkt war, daher fühlten wir uns entgegengekommen. Für die Hunde gab es Hundebetten und Wasserschalen, und das Personal war sehr verständnisvoll mit den Putzzeiten. Es gab üpberall Wasserpender, was uns sehr positiv überrascht hat. an sich das Check in war etwas langwierig und uns wurde kein Wasser angeboten obwohl es so warm war, aber mittlerer weile ist überall so und Vormittags gibt es doch Kaffe und Wasser für alle.

- Tamara (8/5): Zimmer zur Strassenseite nicht empfehlenswert - Das Personal war zuvorkommend und freundlich. Das Zimmer ist an sich schön eingerichtet und sauber. Der Strand ist wunderschön. Ich dachte es ist nicht so schlimm aber die Zimmer zur Strassenseite sind echt extrem laut und nicht isoliert. Wenn man den Aufpreis für ruhige Zimmer mit Meerblick nicht zahlen möchte, empfehle ich den Aufenthalt nicht.

- Tamara (9/5): Suite mit Meerblick sehr empfehlenswert - Die Betreuung durch das Hotelpersonal wird mir in guter Erinnerung bleiben. Aufgrund eines stornieren Fluges haben sie mich gut beraten und die beste Zimmeroption für uns gefunden. Die Suite zum Meer hin ist wunderschön und ruhig. Strand wunderschön mit genügend Sonnenliegen. Es lohnt sich je nach dem mehr, direkt über das Hotel zu buchen mit dem Treueprogramm wenn man z.B. spätere Check-Out Zeiten möchte. Ich bin zwar IHG-Member aber habe diese eine Buchung über booking.com gebucht, was nicht anerkannt wurde. Frühstücksraum eigentlich schön gelegen aber sehr voll und hektisch.

- Wendel (7/5): Good facilities and a beautiful beach, but the service leaves something to be desired. - The hotel has a wonderful beach, good beach tents and pools. 1 - Breakfast is poor and needs to get better urgently. We noticed that some things were not fresh, especially the fruits and breads. It seemed overripe (fruits) and a little hard (breads). Some of the sweet breads were below expectations and had an eggy taste. We definitely missed higher-quality food at breakfast. And you could offer some cakes too. Besides, it's too bureaucratic to order coffee and hot milk, because you have to call a waiter, but they take a long time and often bring wrong orders. 2 - It's too expensive to consume inside the hotel, especially the drinks. Basically, we had to eat out every day. 3 - The bathroom has no pressure in the shower and taps. 4 - We decided to check out early, and we were told by the hotel staff that a 1 day penalty would be charged. They refuse to give me a receipt. However, we agreed to it trusting them. But, after we left the hotel, they refused to pay me the partial refund saying that I should ask it to the Booking platform.

Musste mir umständlich ein Postamt suchen. Ist mir in 40 Jahren Reisen noch nie passiert! :-(

- 294megip (10/5): We will come back - El Presidente was a fantastic first stop on our yucatan tour. We woke up every morning with a breathtaking view to the ocean. Definitly one of the top 3 hotels i have been in the last 20 years, and we ve travelled a lot. The staff is well trained, kind and friendly. You can see and feel that they like what they are doing, with high quality outcome. Would like to mention Maribel and Eric who are providing a high class outdoor food experience at the Le Cap restaurant . We will come back for sure!

- Oxana (10/5): Insgesamt geben wir dem Hotel 10 von 10 Punkten und können es absolut weiterempfehlen! - as Hotel hat uns insgesamt sehr gut gefallen. Es ist sehr groß, komfortabel und gepflegt. Die Zimmer sind wunderschön, modern eingerichtet und mit neuen Möbeln ausgestattet. Der Ausblick ist einfach traumhaft. Auch die gesamte Anlage ist sauber, ordentlich und sehr gut gepflegt. Besonders schön ist der direkte Zugang zum Meer. Am Strand stehen Palmen, was eine tolle Urlaubsatmosphäre schafft. Der Sand ist weiß und sehr angenehm. Das Frühstück war sehr lecker und abwechslungsreich. Es gab eine große Auswahl, und man konnte sich verschiedene Omeletts frisch zubereiten lassen – das war ein echtes Highlight. Der Service war ebenfalls sehr gut. Das Personal war freundlich und hilfsbereit. Besonders positiv war, dass wir unseren Aufenthalt um zwei Stunden verlängern konnten und später auschecken durften. Das fanden wir sehr entgegenkommend. Auch wenn einmal Handtücher gefehlt haben, wurden diese sofort gebracht. Ein kleiner Minuspunkt war das Meer: Es gab Algen im Wasser. Natürlich ist das ein natürlicher Umstand, für den das Hotel nichts kann. Außerdem ist das Meer sehr flach – zum Schwimmen war es dadurch nicht ideal. Für Familien mit Kindern ist es jedoch perfekt, da das Wasser ruhig und seicht ist. Direkt am Ufer gab es keine Algen, diese waren eher weiter draußen, wo es eigentlich tiefer sein sollte – allerdings konnte man dort wegen der Algen kaum schwimmen.

Ist ok, aber für den Preis den man zahlt darf man mehr erwarten… Frühstück ist gut, aber das Abendessen ist für die Qualität viel zu teuer…

- shannoncY5590LH (10/5): Miss it already! - Just arrived home last night from another wonderful 6 days at the Presidente. My husband is a pilot we can and do travel all over but this is the one place we have returned to 9 times. The beach is the best in Cancun, the food is fantastic, and the service is top notch. We are treated like family every time we arrive. Miriam and Gonzalo go out of their way each day to make sure we have everything we could possibly need I can not say enough about these 2 amazing people. Also Reuben, Alejandro, the breakfast staff, all the staff at The Cap everyone works so hard and it is appreciated very much. If you are looking for a relaxing , beautiful beach holiday with amazing people this is the place. Thankyou again can’t wait to see you in October.
