It was very small and, most importantly, had a window covered with plastic. There was also no way to open the window. I asked for a room change, but was told it wasn't possible. Being in such a small and constantly dark room was very unpleasant. Pokój, który otrzymałam całkowicie różnił się od pokoju na zdjęciu. Był bardzo mały i przede wszystkim miał okno zaklejone folią. Nie było też możliwości otworzenia okna. Prosiłam o wymianę pokoju ale otrzymałam odpowiedź że to niemożliwe. Przebywanie w tak małym i ciągle ciemnym pokoju było bardzo nieprzyjemne.
• Annabelle (8/5): Für uns als Familie richtig gut! - Wir sind als Familie mit zwei Teenagern angereist und hatten insgesamt einen sehr schönen Aufenthalt. Das Zimmer war sauber, ruhig und großzügig geschnitten. Zum Aufladen von digitalen Geräten gab es sowohl deren gängigen Steckdosen als auch USB-Anschlüsse, so dass nicht unbedingt ein Adapter mitgenommen werden muss. Das Frühstück war ausreichend und hat für den Start in den Tag auf jeden Fall gepasst. Kaffee/Tee/Wasser/Saft/Obstsalat - alles da. Die Lage des Hotels ist hervorragend – ein idealer Ausgangspunkt für Sightseeing. Auch das Personal war durchweg freundlich. Insgesamt würden wir das Hotel zu 100 % weiterempfehlen und jederzeit wieder buchen. Einziger kleiner Kritikpunkt ist das Frühstück: Bei einem Aufenthalt von fünf Tagen wird es etwas eintönig, da es kaum Abwechslung gibt. Die Auswahl ist recht einfach gehalten (z. B. Toastbrot als Grundlage für Aufschnitt (weiß/vollkorn, kleine Croissants und Schokobrötchen - kein Brot, keine Brötchen oder anderes Gebäck).

• sally (8/5): We would very much book again but not include breakfast. - Its location and the room. We stayed for four nights and the room was kept spotless and was available for our early arrival. Staff were very friendly and keen to help. We made use of the ‘keep luggage’ service which was very helpful and easy to use. We found the breakfast too noisy as it was very busy most of the time. The quality of the food meant we just had cereal. We were aware on booking that this was likely to happen.

• Michał (7/5): Good location for visiting London tourist attractions. Breakfast below average. - Hotel location is good for visiting London attractions, next to Aldgate East tube station. There are few restaurants and grocery stores around. Breakfasts were exactly the same every day. Scrambled eggs were tasteless, with no other eggs options. The only type of bread was toast bread (no regular break, buns, etc.). There were no vegetables apart from a single salad (greens mixed with tomatoes, pepper and vinegear).

• Jakub (7/5): Reasonably priced - Close to the underground. Clean however the policy of no toilet brushes is weird. The room was quiet. Breakfasts. The quality of hot dishes could be improved. The sausages were awful, scrambled eggs always cold. The bread was awful. The hotel took an additional 50 Pound deposit without letting me know in advance. They didn’t ask if they could do it, they just informed me that they are taking the deposit. I don’t know why are they doing it, as it was released at checkout without doing anything.

I didn't like that customers were not informed about the caution deposit. It's not good to get to the hotel before customer is aware of the fee. For customers sent by office, provision would have been made. I am still waiting for my refund from the bank.

No smart tv so can’t connect your phone, movies are available to purchase, ridiculous! Staff did not ask about the stay on check out.
