The first desk lady was very welcoming and nice. Many things were in construction. The a/c wasn’t working and was being worked on our whole stay. Which can make any stay in Fl very uncomfortable.

- W6554APcatherinek (2/5): Unscrupulous Management Team - Lovely hotel in a great location but spoilt by the management team particularly Tasjiknik Magaroo. We had a number of issues during our stay which the hotel agreed to £144.89 compensation. The compensation was promised to be paid on the day we checked out. It was eventually authorised after having to contact the hotel on numerous occasions but the payment was rejected by my bank (purchase reversal). I sent proof of this to the front of desk manager Tasjiknik Mangaroo who has totally ignored my correspondence for the payment to be reissued. Reached out to customer service who kept referring me back to the hotel who have continually ignored my request. Still awaiting the compensation that was promised to me in good faith. This is so unprofessional and disappointing.

Zal hier zelf nooit meer boeken - Wat prima beviel was het Kingsize bed en de faciliteiten, zoals het zwembad, sport en dat er gratis shuttle vervoer naar Universal parken was In de junior suite willen de bedden voor de kinderen erg tegen. Er was een onderschuif bed waarvan het matras op de grond lag. Verder viel het ontbijt tegen, deze hadden we voor 4 personen bijgeboekt, maar we kregen maar voor 2 personen een tegoed voucher. Voor het geld op de voucher kon je met zijn 2en zelfs niet eens eten. Erg teleurstellend. Daarnaast wordt er niks van gezegd als gasten met een speakerbox muziek draaien bij het zwembad zelfs als je klaagt. Ze vinden dat blijkbaar heel normaal.

- Ray (4/5): Clean room, broken amenities. - The parking was very confusing. My partner wanted to pay on his credit card, but they could not accommodate this. Everything needed to be charged to my room. The clock in the room was completely dead because somebody took the power cable. The toilet is too low to the ground, and just based on this, I will not be coming back. People with bad knees should not be staying at your hotel. The ice machine on floor 12 and floor 11 were not functioning. I did not like the fact that I had to fight for my breakfast and only received a $25 voucher which did not cover any drinks. None of this was explained to me when checking in. Although the rooms were clean and comfortable, I will not be staying here nor can I recommend your hotel.

- jasminetZ4886OM (4/5): Be prepared to be inconvenienced - Hotel appears to be nice upon checkin. Staff that I encountered during check in was friendly and helpful. The agent that I encountered during check had trouble locating my reservation and took about 15 mins before she was able to find me. The reservation was for Mon 3/9-Thurs 3/12. She apologized and mentioned that it was stuck in the system and ensured me everything was all set. I thanked her and proceeded to signal for my son to come in with luggage since he waited in the car with family who was dropping us off. We made it to the room Monday evening and it was extremely hot. I was going to bear through it but couldn’t. I went to front desk and the same agent who assisted me was kind enough to move us to another room. The new room was much cooler. I then had to go move all of the luggage from one room to another. I couldn’t help but to sweat being that the first room was scotching hot and I didn’t have help since my son left once he placed luggage in room to leave back out with family. There was no cart available to help move luggage so I just struggled. Once inside of the newest room, I noticed stains on carpet leading into room but looked over it. The room seemed better until I went into the bathroom. It smelled of urine/ sweat which I narrowed down to either the floor being cleaned with a dirty mop or it was the shower curtains. Because, I don’t really like complaining, I sprayed Lysol freshener on the curtains but still couldn’t deal with the smell so I gave in and called for someone to replace. I refused to have those curtains touch me nor go into the bathroom until it was corrected due to the smell. I contacted house keeping and someone came right away. The older lady who was sent, knocked on the door once and was walking away as I was opening the door. I looked down and she left the new shower curtains in a bag on the floor for me to put up. Although, there was a language barrier I asked her if she could hang the curtains? She agreed, I helped her to hang them being that she was an older woman. On Tuesday, once we were back from doing activities we attempted to go down to the arcade but it was locked. I stopped by the front desk to alert them, and was told that the arcade was removed earlier that day. With that being said, I said okay and decided that we would just go to the pool. The pool is advertised as warm but was extremely cold so we changed our mind on getting in pool and just decided to play corn hole for a while. Wednesday morning, I was awaken by the construction crew having a meeting in the hallway. I ignored it because I could obviously see that certain areas of hotel was tapped off in plastic and I would rather hear them talk then to hear the drilling. I turned tv up to drown out the conversation and decided to lay down for a bit before we started our day. Shortly, after getting comfy in bed, the sound got worse. So, we decided to just get dressed and leave earlier in the day. I went downstairs to try to find a microwave to warm our food , there was no microwave and was told they would bring one. After waiting awhile, I called and was told they would send someone right away. The lady came maybe 10 mins after 2nd call. She also knocked once and left microwave. She didn’t speak English and a translator had to be used in order for me to ask her to bring inside of room. I have a sore back and couldn’t bend to lift it. I then went to iron my son’s suit and noticed mold in the iron. When we were heading out for the day, I asked front desk if they had dry cleaning services, he said yes. But, it was too late for me to drop off ( this was around 11 or 12 in the afternoon ) if I left the clothes, I wouldn’t receive until Thursday evening around 4:30pm. I thanked him and declined since we were checking out Thursday at 11:00 am. After being out most of the day, we came back, showered and left right back out. We didn’t until later that night. We awoke to the sound of drilling at 7:40 am. It would stop for a while and then start back. Each time we would fall back asleep it would start back. I called front desk to ask the hours of construction, I was advised 8am-8pm. There is NO way that you can fully REST at this hotel. When I called front desk the guy I spoke with was rude and kept cutting me out. I asked if he could allow me to speak and eventually I asked about compensation. I’m not expecting to have everything comped. But, more than one night should be comped or at least discount the other nights. He told me that’s all he would do and he’s not doing anything else, if I wanted to complain I could come down at 4pm to speak with a manager. I explained that my checkout was at 11 this morning, so I wouldn’t be able to come down due to me no longer being there. He told me to just call. My mood was already bad because I couldn’t sleep and now I have to deal with his poor attitude . So, to avoid being ugly with him, I ended the call. He called right back saying, “ yes, you disconnected “ if you KNOW that I disconnected why would you call me right back to further escalate things? The hotel should put on website that the amenities that draw you in are non existent and that there will be construction bright and early each day lasting until you go to sleep. I regret not staying with family and booking this hotel. I booked so that I could relax and enjoy time with my son but instead was inconvenienced the entire time. ( I also read where some people were offered credit for dinning but I didn’t receive anything, during check-in I was told that they didn’t offer anything-Not sure of requirements and wasn’t a big deal to me) While writing this review I got a knock on the door from house keeping. They have never come this early during the entire stay. I told her I’d be checking out in a few hours. She apologized saying, she came to wrong room! I feel like it was on purpose to further keep me from sleeping!!

- MyLittleVoyage (10/5): A great base for an Universal Studios trip - Conveniently located a short drive away from Universal Studios property, including Volcano Bay, Hotel Landy offers an affordable, clean and modern hotel in a premium location. With a range of facilities including outdoor pool and bar, this is a great base for families and friends alike. The first impressions were great - a large, open, airy lobby area with bar seating was incredibly inviting. The pool is visible directly behind the bar, slightly hidden by tasteful foliage. The mood lighting really set the scene for our late arrival, which was pleasing. I booked the room with a couple of weeks notice, and prepaid. On arrival, check in was effortless and took less than two minutes. Heading up to the room, I was pleasantly surprised by just how large it was. Even with two Queen sized beds, there was plenty of room for luggage and other personal artifacts. The beds were incredibly comfy, with extra pillows without the need to ask at reception. At the bedside were plenty of power outlets, as well as over on the vanity unit - great for recharging all of the devices I travelled with. The bathroom was clean and large with an abundance of storage space. We enjoyed the facilities at the poolside as a group of friends on a couple of the evenings, and had a great time. Even for April, it was not busy at all, and there were only ever a handful of other people making use at the same time. The bar offered great cocktails at a decent price, and these were able to be enjoyed on the loungers at the poolside. Location wise, you can reach MCO airport in under fifteen minutes, with the Universal parks being less than ten minutes drive. The Magic Kingdom was also fifteen minutes in a car, making for easy access to all of the theme parks in the central Orlando area. Even a trip to Disney Springs in an evening took us just twenty minutes - great and convenient when travelling with friends as there are plenty of eateries to relax and enjoy a bite together at. I highly recommend The Polite Pig if you’re a lover of BBQ meats and platters! All in all, Hotel Landy is definitely a property I can recommend. It’s rooms are clean, spacious and affordable, and offer an elevated space to relax during your (undoubtedly) busy trip to Orlando. Highly recommended.

The hotel has a beautiful pool, a nice restaurant, and a bar if you want to stay in for the night. The rooms are nice and roomy. I found the Landy Hotel to be a diamond in the rough. Very close to Universal Studios. We were actually referred by locals. I will be back! Finding a good hotel at a good price in Orlando can be tricky at best.

The hotel is cheerful and colorful with a nice outdoor area and good food. The staff was very kind and responsive. The room was spacious and very clean. And the bed was extremely comfortable with great pillows too!! We were very happy and felt it was a great value compared to other hotel chains around it. Very good proximity to the theme parks too. We would definitely recommend to any of our friends visiting the area.

- mgalas412 (10/5): Boutique vibes, big-resort energy (without the chaos) - I stayed at Hotel Landy for a business trip (February 2026) and it honestly surprised me—in the best way. It has that fun, boutique “vacation mode” atmosphere, but it still works perfectly if you’re here for work and need an easy, comfortable home base. The pool + jacuzzi area is a whole vibe: you’ll see everyone from “5-year-old living their best life playing lawn games” to “25–90 and lounging poolside with a drink.” There’s cornhole / lawn games, plenty of space to relax, and it feels lively without feeling overwhelming. They also have a bar open until 11, plus really solid food + drinks for a boutique hotel (not the usual sad hotel-menu situation). The staff was attentive and genuinely friendly the entire stay—check-in, questions, everything. Bonus points for the market on-site with the basics (snacks, drinks, quick grab-and-go items), and the location is super convenient—close enough to Universal/Orlando parks to get there fast, but far enough away to avoid the mayhem and keep the price reasonable. Overall: fun, easy, great atmosphere, and a legit good stay whether you’re here for work, a couple’s trip, or family time.

If you're booking because its a "Universal Hotel" the reality is the following: the shuttle leaves once a day 830a and returns at 7pm (period). We never even found where it picked up. Uber was between $8-$10 each way. There is no airport shuttle ( yes, that is clearly posted) Uber was around $30. The location was ok but its not really near anything. They did send something out to be dry cleaned for us. It was a nice place to stay but not theme park friendly

- jadenb1983 (8/5): Overall great stay - I visit Orlando often and was very excited to check out this hotel as I had never stayed here before. I really liked the retheming done by Marriott when they purchased this property- the retro styling is well done and the building has a very classy feel. Rooms were well appointed and spacious, the staff was friendly, and the location is extremely convenient to Universal, the highway, and I-drive. I didn't make use of the amenities because my trip was very short (less than 2 days) and was for business. While I had hoped to at least take a dip in the hot tub, I happened to visit on the weekend with unseasonably cold weather for Florida... I wasn't about to go outside in my swimsuit with weather in the 30s 😂 My one complaint is that the parking is atrociously expensive, and nobody even told me when I checked in that I would need to pay for it- they asked me to scan a QR code and told me parking was only for hotel guests. They neglected to tell me that self parking costs almost $40 a day after tax! I was flabbergasted at checkout to have them charge me almost $80 for my two nights there- which is actually more expensive than parking at Universal up the street. I've stayed a lot of hotels, and generally self parking is included- but even when it's not, I've never seen it be this expensive. This is more than valet parking was when I was in Boston, which is really saying something. I likely would have given my stay five stars if it wasn't for the parking factor. I might hesitate to book here again because of that additional cost per night.

Sehr gute Parkmöglichkeiten, direkt vor dem Hotel. Guter Starbucks Coffee im Shop des Hotels. Im Lobbybereich gab es eine Baustelle. gebucht wurde inklusive Frühstück, aber es gab nur einen limitierten Gutschein, der nicht für das gesamte Sortiment des Shops eingesetzt werden konnte. Es gab kein Frühstücksbuffet, sondern ein frühstück, à la carte in einem separaten Shop im Erdgeschoss. Der Café musste separat abgerechnet werden, jedoch wurde dafür ein Gutschein im Wert von 15 $ pro Tag und Zimmer dem Gast zur Verfügung gestellt Dem Restaurant/Barbereich fehlt es an Gemütlichkeit
