Guest Reviews
- Steve (10/5): Exceptional - The staff is simply amazing in every way.
- Tina (10/5): dreamy - We had such a wonderful stay while in Tokyo. The hotel is gorgeous and the staff was so accommodating.
- 818zainabb (10/5): Perfection! - The perfect stay ever, you can’t get wrong with this hotel. From the check in to the check out every thing was above our expectation.
- A. (10/5): - Exceptional service, well kept rooms and courteous staff who go above and beyond to give you the best possible stay.
- LeslieTeng (10/5): Lovely stay in Tokyo - Extremely comfortable and pleasant stay. The room itself is spacious and well thought-out. The shower has good water pressure, and the amenities are of good quality. The breakfast is overall good, and the eating area is bathed in natural sunlight. The service is very good; if you decide to go out for an early morning jog, you’ll find that the staff has already prepared by the front entrance jogging route maps, water, power bars, and towels for your exercise. The front desk also makes a note of your departure time and will call to arrange a taxi before you’ve even left your room to check out.
- Duro (9/5): Superb -
- Abdullah (10/5): Amazing friendly staff great facility - Super nice and friendly staff members, the room size is great and the location near to everything you need None
- Faisal (10/5): It was a beautiful full rounded package. - The Staff. .
- Anonymous (10/5): Exceptional -
- Dream52811570542 (10/5): Home far away from home - Although the hotel is a bit dated, that’s exactly what gives it its charm and warm, inviting atmosphere. From the moment a staff member greeted us right on the platform at Tokyo Station, we were impressed by their kindness and attention to detail. The service throughout our stay was exceptional, and every detail was thoughtfully executed.
- Carolina (10/5): Exceptional -
- Jayesh (10/5): Awesome..!!! - I wanted to take a moment to express my heartfelt appreciation for the exceptional hospitality and wonderful service I experienced during my recent stay at your hotel. From the moment I arrived, I was treated with warmth and kindness that made me feel truly valued and cared for.
The attention to detail and commitment to excellence that your team demonstrated were truly impressive. Every interaction, whether it was with the front desk, housekeeping, or the culinary team, was consistently exceptional.
Please know that your hard work and dedication have not gone unnoticed. You have set a high standard for hospitality, and I feel grateful to have had the opportunity to experience it.
Thank you again for making my stay so memorable. I look forward to the opportunity to return in the future.
You guys deserve a 7 star review
- jayg174 (8/5): great location, awesome service - Great location, excellent service, what you would expect from a Four Seasons, it is walking distance from the central train station, which is good and bad, because you hear the trains all day and into the night, which is a significant drawback. Otherwise, the staff and facility were top notch, and the 3-Michelin star restaurant, Sezanne, is in the hotel, and it is one of the best meals I have ever had
- sheharyar (6/5): - Dated property. Otherwise good
- Bee-Lee (10/5): - The hotel is conveniently located outside Tokyo station which lots of dining options shoppings surrounding it. Besides, the service was excellent and the room was good size and clean. We really enjoyed the freshly baked madeleines. They were so good and delicious. However, we were disappointed with the toilet bowl. We had stayed in a few hotels prior to checking in Four Seasons on this trip. All the hotels we had stayed, from 3-stars to 5-stars, had the most updated toilet bowls with remote control flushing. This hotel is still using the conventional flushing.
- davidcthaw (10/5): A true delight - I absolutely loved my stay at the Four Seasons Tokyo at Marunouchi. From the minute I entered the hotel until the moment I left, I was cared for with wonderful warmth, gentleness and kindness. Everyone went the extra mile to make my stay as good as it possibly could be, going above and beyond what I could possibly have expected or wished for. I hope just one example will help to illustrate this: when my sister and her daughter arrived in Tokyo after their flight from London, they too were welcomed to the Four Seasons with the sort of kindness and friendship that washes away the weariness of a long journey.
My room overlooking the train tracks of Tokyo Station was extraordinary. The room itself was wonderful - as comfortable as anyone could want. What made it so special, though, was the uniqueness of its view. To watch the trains coming and going to and from Tokyo Station was a joy - the sort of experience you will find nowhere else in the world.
Just one more thing: when I arrived, the team at Sézanne had left a gift of the most gorgeous madeleines for me - another small act of kindness that made staying at the Four Seasons at Marunouchi such a delight. Thank you so, so much.
- tj-eckleburg (10/5): Great hotel - The entire experience here was amazing. The staff were excellent. We really enjoyed it. Excellent breakfast as well is not to be missed. Would recommend this hotel to anyone and I would definitely go back. If you want to go to the famous restaurant you would need to book in advance - we couldn’t get in but the concierge booked us a fantastic alternative option that was itself amazing.
- gather-together001 (10/5): Outstanding stay would come here every time in Japan! Customer service is unmatched. - Excellent hotel to beginning your stay in Tokyo. The staff is attentive, thoughtful of needs especially if it is your first time in Japan, and centered on customer service. The hotel is not as new or modern but the service is unmatched.
The location is outstanding being next to the train station and in the middle of Ginza. I would definitely stay here again!
- RENEE (10/5): - Wonderful !!
- Heather (10/5): - The service was excellent. Thank you to the front desk staff and concierge staff for all the help with taxis, directions, and calling restaurants for us. Special thanks to Yuna for helping us find the right train at Tokyo Station at the end of our stay. Also thank you so much for the breakfast staff who helped us get everything we needed each morning, especially for our child who is gluten free. Our deluxe premium room was large and so sunny This hotel is convenient to the subway and Ginza and is a serene respite from busy days in Tokyo.
- Kerry (10/5): - We had the most fabulous stay at this property. Our room was sizeable, immaculately clean and well serviced. Everything was seamless at this hotel and made for a very comfortable base after many very busy days in Tokyo. Super conveniently located for travel and always felt safe. Staff were so friendly and always keen to offer assistance, even to the train station at the end of our stay. Cannot rate highly enough. Thank you
- James (4/5): - An aging Four Seasons and it shows. Understaffed and clearly in the route to a renovation in July. The hotel is also next to the train station - convenient is you’re travelling but you get train track noise in the rooms.
- 518nehar (10/5): Amazing family trip at the Four Seasons Marunouchi! - We had the pleasure of staying at the Four Seasons Marunouchi for six nights last week, during the beautiful cherry blossom season in Tokyo. We had an incredible time at the hotel -- the entire staff was so welcoming, understanding, warm and accommodating. The location of the hotel is ideal -- so close to Tokyo Station and so easy to get to all the other neighborhoods. Both my children (ages 4 and 7) were treated like princesses, and everyone working at the hotel went out of their way to help them and make all of us feel at home. They even brought special treats and gifts for both of my girls because it was my daughter's birthday during our stay. We couldn't ask for a more beautiful experience. My husband and I also had the pleasure of dining at Sezanne, which was truly a one-of-a-kind meal and the best service we have had at any Michelin starred restaurant around the world. Can't recommend Four Seasons Marunouchi enough - and special thanks to Keigo for his help in making reservations and his kindness throughout our trip.
- Traveler227 (10/5): Great Location and Service - The Four Seasons Marunouchi was really perfect for our needs. It’s only a 2 minute walk from Tokyo Station so perfect when traveling by long distance train. It’s easily walkable to many tourist attractions and relatively central for the rest of the city. The rooms are dated but very spacious and the public spaces including the restaurant are very nice. The service was extraordinarily good and the front desk and concierge team were so helpful in providing some great recommendations and reservations for our family. We would not hesitate in staying here again.
- seerked (2/5): What a dump - What an actual dump. Where do i start. First, although we had a reservation we confirmed 3 times. Then they tried to down size due to availability when we arrived, surprise! . Then their rooms were gross. Seriously. Dirty on the edges, skin flakes everywhere. Also power grid - no usb c chargers - run out to 7/11 ladies and get the actual chargers no other hotel in Tokyo requires but here you do! Also everything is old and slimy. Have fun! Never again. Stay at the Edition, we should have gone back,
- Ayush (10/5): - Amazing staff, Convenient location, spacious (Tokyo standards), a little noise from shinkasen every now and then but renovation (was told) would take care of it. Overall, Great stay!!
- Vincent (10/5): - Staff are friendly and helpful. Property is clean and room is very well equipped with many amenities.
- Vincent (10/5): - Very friendly and helpful staff. Room is well equipped and clean.
- Nahyeli Garcia (10/5): - Excellent stay!! Lov FS Tokyo
- Connector10007037937 (10/5): Absolute Best Staff!! - This hotel had the best customer service of any Four Seasons I’ve ever stayed at, which is already a high bar. Such kind and helpful staff. Rooms were large enough with plenty of amenities to be comfortable for a family of 4. Breakfast was delicious. Just an example of the above and beyond behavior…we were only staying in Tokyo for one night then heading to Osaka. We mentioned we’d love help selecting a train around 1pm check out day. They were waiting for us in the lobby and had two very friendly staff walk us all the way to the train station with our bags. Walked us through the ticket purchasing process, even waited with us and translated for us as we had some unexpected train delays, suggested food items we should try on the train, and then helped us onto the train with our luggage. So very grateful for their kindness and help. It really made what could have been a stressful situation into breeze and a pleasant conversation we will all remember fondly. Thank you to the best Four Seasons staff in the world!
- M6019QHgregt (6/5): Underwhelming - We were underwhelmed with our stay at The Four Seasons Tokyo at Marunouchi. Having just experienced The Four Seasons in Kyoto, we did not find the staff overly helpful, and the experience as a whole was underwhelming given the reputation of The Four Seasons. The bar and restaurant on the 7th floor (as well as the fitness center) were convenient and comfortable. However, the hotel itself is outdated and seems not to have been modernized at any point.
- Brion (9/5): Nice, confortable landing spot in the heart of Tokyo. - Nice location in the heart of Tokyo. Next to main train station and easy access to many subway lines. Staff was very helpful, especially given that this was our first time in Japan. Nothing
- Scott (10/5): - Fantastic property but the staff goes above and beyond. We feel lucky to have found this terrific place.
- Guy (9/5): Superb - Received an upgrade to a lovely corner suite on the second half of our 7 day stay
- Niu (9/5): Overall, comfy, clean, convenient. - Many considerations for little kids Bed too soft
- Sandeep (10/5): - Great place to stay if looking for a place near Ginza. Very nice rooms (probably more on the modern side and not the cozy/warm side). People complain about train noise but it’s charming and a part of central Tokyo IMO. A noise maker app using the in room Bose speaker drowns it out at night. About a 10min walk to Ginza and <5min walk to trains. Staff are SUPER nice and friendly. Concierge made us an unforgettable sushi omakase experience. Highly recommend.
- Fabio (10/5): Exceptional - The hotel is located in the perfect spot. Cozy. Staff is super friendly but News some detail renovation amd you can gear the trains approaching and leaving
Very good place to stay in Marunochi walking diatance to Ginza Train noise
News a but renovation ( Rooms)
- Horace (10/5): - Serving staffs are excellent and prompt to provide assistance.
- Matt (10/5): Clean, luxurious and well located. Staff amazing -
- Robert (10/5): - Everything was excellent
- Patti1987 (10/5): Exceptional -
- Nurul (10/5): It was an exceptional blend of luxury, comfort, and thoughtful service. - During my stay at the Four Seasons Hotel Tokyo at Marunouchi, I was truly impressed by the exceptional service. We made a birthday request for our daughter, and the hotel went above and beyond by surprising us with a delicious cake in the room. The room itself was a peaceful sanctuary with triple-glazed windows that kept the noise out, and the bed was incredibly comfortable—one of the best I've experienced. Small touches, like the welcome treats in the room, made our stay feel extra special. It’s a perfect blend of luxury and relaxation right in the heart of Tokyo. While my stay at the Four Seasons Hotel Tokyo at Marunouchi was excellent in many ways, I did wish that the room service offered more options for **Muslim-friendly food**. As a Muslim traveler, having a variety of Halal or at least clearly marked vegetarian options that adhere to dietary requirements would make the experience even better. While the overall service and dining options were fantastic, having more inclusive food choices would add another layer of comfort for guests with specific dietary needs. It’s something I hope they consider in the future for a truly all-encompassing experience.
- Leontko (8/5): Great convenient location but abit old - Vibes: The hotel decor is abit dated and you could kinda tell that it has been around for a while.
LOCATION: Great location about 3-5 mins walk from Tokyo station.
SERVICE: Service is top notch. Staff were all very friendly and saw to our needs quickly. Also enjoyed their free daily FRESHLY baked macrons (they bake on request!)
ROOM: The room was really big, considering that it’s Tokyo. Again, it feels abit dated and not modern. Also, our windows were facing a big construction site so there wasn’t much view.
GYM: Gym was pretty well equipped and spacious. No complaints here! We managed a few solid workouts.
MEALS: Didn’t have any meals there although their in house restaurant was supposedly very good.
Overall: No complaints about the place and it was nice but not mind blowing.
- Tanathep (10/5): - Great stay and excellent convenience within 20min walk radius to plethora of shops and restaurants. Reservations for restaurants also done professionally via the concierge team (Olivia). Thank you for a wonderful stay.
- Jason (10/5): Exceptional -
- yxlin27 (10/5): The review of the nice Four Season Hotel - The lobby was well set up with seats near the door and providing kids toys and books. The room was spacious with nice snacks prepared and had a beautiful from my room. The chairs were enough for an indoor breakfast and I think the people should not change it as it is perfect for us. ~ Isabel, 8
Very awesome location and wonderful attentive service! Another amazing Four Seasons property!
- Samuel (7/5): Family trip - Location and friendly staffs. Dated toilet facilities. Absence of bell desk staff to help with luggages when arrived at hotel.
- Stephanie Van (10/5): - I had an excellent vacation stay here - so much so that I canceled a different hotel I had booked in Tokyo to come back. Every staff member was wonderful and they went above and beyond in every way - I wish I wrote down more names, but would like to thank Quentin, Matsao, and Keiju among others. If you stay, I recommend the breakfast, which has a lovely champagne and breakfast bar - it was a lovely highlight before and the walking! Everything was very clean in rooms, just a couple areas in the spa room needed a little love in the high moisture areas. View looked out to a construction site, but I didn’t hear any noise.
Thank you for a wonderful experience!
- HomeIdaho (10/5): The Best Hotel Experience of My Life! - My 9 night stay at the Four Seasons Hotel Tokyo At Marunouchi was the best hotel experience of my life.
A dedicated and courteous staff made my stay so enjoyable it was like a home away from home. High quality service from the Bellhop, the Front Desk, the Concierge team, the Maison Marunouchi restaurant, and the Bar was always friendly and personable.
The hotel itself is smaller than most Four Seasons with just 57 or so rooms. This makes it a bit more intimate, quieter, and allows for the personal service you receive. It's comfortable in its' design and the rooms are spacious. A couple of review mention it is 'worn out', I did not see this at all. Yes, it is not brand spanking new (there is a new Four Seasons about 5 minutes away by taxi if you want that) but worn out not at all.
Location wise it is a very good base to explore Tokyo. Transportation is a breeze as you are right next door to Tokyo Central for subway and rail connections. Taxis are wonderful in Tokyo and they are readily available. The Imperial Palace and Gardens are a 20 minute walk away. Finally, for shopping, the Ginza district is two block away.
My room was as spacious as any other Four Seasons I have stayed at. A wonderfully comfortable king bed, a full bath with shower and bathtub, electric controlled curtains and shades all made it a restful room.
Hopefully I will be able to stay here on future Tokyo trips.
Pro Tip: If you are staying for more than 3 nights check to see if Four Seasons is offering their "Stay Longer" promotions. Here you get a free night for every three nights stayed. Also, be prepared for a 20% tax rate - same for all Tokyo hotels...
- Kovalenko (2/5): Good location with terrible facilities , staff not helpful - Not a real four seasons really poor service terrible property Only good thing is location everything else is terrible
- Cynthia (9/5): Great time in a week ! - Great hospitality & location Simple and comfortable bed with pillow menu

- Amro (10/5): - Staff is fantastic, hospitable, room was great
- Mariano (10/5): Amazing concierge team - Location Small
- Engels (10/5): Exceptional - evrything nothing
- C4299VDdenisr (10/5): Extraordinary staff, extraordinary service, extraordinary hotel - My wife has cancer. Prior to our arrival, I contacted the extraordinary concierge team to facilitate everything possible to make my wife’s stay as comfortable and enjoyable as possible. Every staff member went out of their way to make us feel welcome, appreciated, and yes, loved. They created a memorable, wonderful experience for us that we will cherish forever.
- Frank (9/5): Magnificent - Without exception the staff was wonderful.
- SusanD2370 (10/5): Impeccable Service by an Amazing Four Seasons Staff - Four Seasons never disappoints! And this Four Seasons hotel was amazing! Recently stayed here for five nights, and from the front desk to the concierge to the breakfast every morning in the restaurant to room service, the service provided from each and every member of the staff was impeccable. The location was also great, just a few minutes walk to Tokyo Station.
- josephbartolome (10/5): Our Last Day and Night in Tokyo - We had a wonderful experience overall in Tokyo from the people, culture, food, and activities for kids. During this vacation we travelled to Kyoto, Tokyo, and Seoul and stayed at different hotels at similar price points as the Four Seasons. Our trip to Seoul was a last-minute decision and decided to fly there and back from Tokyo. We selected the Four Seasons because it was near the Tokyo Station and figured we can spend our last day in Ginza, shopping, and trying restaurants at the Tokyo Station. To our surprise, the Four Seasons at Maranouchi and staff exceeded expectations. Although the technology in our suite appeared to be outdated, everything worked, the suite was well-appointed, service, and cleanliness was beyond exceptional. Although our plans were to explore the city one more time, we decided to spend our last night in our suite enjoying the view, amenities and room service.
The following day, we asked for directions to a restaurant and the bellman walked us to the restaurant and ensured we were clear on how to get back to the hotel.
Thank you to the staff for making our last night and day so memorable and special!
- 675briann (10/5): The Staff and Location makes this a great Hotel for a family vacation - It was our first time in Tokyo and what an amazing experience. The staff was unbelievable. The location cannot be beat - you are central at Tokyo station, literally steps away and able to get onto all the transportation very easily. Walking distance to the amazing Tokyo station,
Imperial Gardens, Ginza shopping area and the fish market. We also walked to the Dome attractions with the roller coaster. The staff is amazing at this hotel - the best we had in all four hotels we stayed at in Japan with Four Seasons and that says a lot because the other hotels were amazing too. Olivia was unbelievable. She set up multiple tours for us, helped of pick up tickets on the bullet train to Kyoto, made wonderful suggestions for restaurants and even helped us with booking the four seasons in Kyoto and Osaka. Without a doubt, Olivia went above and beyond our expectations. Quentin was also fabulous. He works the dining services was warm and friendly, and had great recommendations for activities and even set up a meeting in Kyoto with multi generation shop owner who show us a very authentic Japanese process for producing ginger products. Will be back to the wonderful city of Tokyo and will stay at this adult Seasons.
- joannp653 (10/5): Recognizable delicious North American appies and drinks at the bar . Well worth the price . - If your looking for a taste of North America in Tokyo , then have a drink and order some familiar food here. We had fries a burger , and appies that we recognized at the bar and it outstanding … They also have a creative drink menu . All served in four seasons style and great service . Yes it’s pricey , but it was so worth it .
- Dr (9/5): Good location ,excellent staff - Top location friendly staff A bit tired ,needs renovation
- Thana (9/5): Great couple of nights for the entire family - Nice location
All the facilities were as expected
Staff were very friendly and very helpful. It was little but hard to fine at first but then it was ok.
- Diana (10/5): - Beautiful, clean and great service. Only thing I would add is a plugin near the mirror outside of the bathroom. There was one in the bathroom, but I hate to hog the bathroom while doing my hair…. But everything else was amazing.
- Jaber (10/5): Exceptional -
- Sarkis (10/5): We will be back ..luxury, comfortable and best costumer service I’ve ever seen.. thank you 😊 - What can I say!! The hotel is very clean, quiet, comfortable and the location is right in the middle of everything and 2 min walk to Tokyo station .. short walk to main shopping area..
the staff are very attentive and helpful, they treat you like family, one of the staff members walked with us to the train station to catch the train to Narita Airport, he helped me buy the tickets than he walked with us all the way to the platform.. special thanks to him 🙏 Some of their rooms are facing the train station, so if you don’t mind a bit of noise then that’s ok.. train service stops between 12am till 5 am ..
however, it’s not a big deal ..
- Bongiovanni (10/5): Highly Reccomend if your happy to spend the $$ - Excellent Staff , extremely friendly Nil
- Sunil (10/5): Awesome trip, our whole family love the stay at Four Seasons at Marunouchi - Staff was awesome. The way they receive you and till we depart. Every request is taken with utmost care and they would act accordingly to complete the request ASAP. One of the best service team I have seen in my travels Ok even though I have nothing to point really, there is always a place for improvement for everyone. Likewise, here also, breakfast spread was not very good. But then you have lot of places around you that you might want to explore 😜 for Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner. Reservation are a must in the Ginza area if you are planning to go to some good restaurants.
- Chengsi (6/5): Sooooo poor facilities can’t sleep good! Can’t believe it happened in Four Seasons. - Really nice service and helpful staff!
Good location The facilities are toooo old. Can’t believe I can hear the neighbors noise in a 5 star hotel in Tokyo city.
And the closet open itself during midnight, so horrible! I thought someone was hidden in the closet. And it happened twice.
The curtain can’t be closed tightly, we waked up in the early morning by the sunlight.
Poor and unsupported pillows.
- Morton (10/5): Wish I could spend the rest of my life in that hotel - Almost everything It lacked a pool
- Janice (10/5): Exceptional -

All the staff we encountered were super friendly and helpful, and I say this with comparison to other four seasons hotels in Japan. The staff truly went above and beyond to ensure we had a pleasant experience. They were very patient and helpful in offering us trip tips and guiding us to the stations, actually platforms we needed to go. Room was also clean and quiet, everything worked great. Definitely will stay here again next time we’re in Tokyo. Thanks!
- Wolfgang (9/5): Superb -
- Chrisilda (10/5): - Convenient
- Mohamed (10/5): Exceptional -
- Sharlene (10/5): - The property location is excellent right next to Ginza shopping area . Lots of restaurants around . Service at the hotel was as good as it gets , staff taking care of all your needs .
Their restaurant Sezanne was just an amazing.
- David (8/5): Very good - Great room. Great hotel. Helpful staff. The hotel in common with other South Korean hotels likes to take deposits (rather than guarantees) that they refund once the bill has been paid. This means that foreigners get charged three lots of exchange. It would be better if they set themselves up to accept a credit card guarantee rather than demand a deposit. It would be simpler all round.
- Abdulmohsen (9/5): Superb - Everything Limited in-room dining menu
- G (9/5): Superb -
- Clay (10/5): - Great location.. very friendly staff.. great high end products.. one bedroom suite very spacious

I was really impressed . Yea the food wasn’t so great but everything else was on point There is need to bring more to the menu .
- Eric (6/5): Not four seasons standard - location 1) Room is Old and dated
2) TV is still 2K and dark and old model
3) The BED is not stable! The whole bed move when sit down on bed. Also the mattress is BAD and not flat
