Staff enhanced our visit and got us on our Hike from Valbone - Claudia & Gravril were perfect hosts who answered all our questions. Comfortable and close to everything you need. Loved the gym nearby they were very accomodating also. I cannot look passed the staff they were so patient and helpful.

The rooms were spotless, modern, and very comfortable. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful throughout. The location is great – close to the center but in a quiet area, which made the stay even more relaxing. Overall, everything exceeded expectations and offered great value for money. Highly recommended!

• luis h (10/5): Localização perfeita - Localização excelente, em rua tranquila, segura e muito perto dos bares e restaurantes da zona de pedestres. Quarto e banheiro de bom tamanho, bem limpos e com ar condicionado. Equipe da recepção extremamente atenciosa. Apesar de existir garagem subterrânea, esta é reservada para hóspedes que fazem passeios pela região e deixam o veículo no hotel. Para os demais hóspedes, o estacionamento é amplo, bem em frente ao hotel, do outro lado da rua, em um terreno de um prédio em construção, mas muito tranquilo para estacionar. O café da manhã (nota 10!) é servido no restaurante do hotel, que fica a não mais do que 100 metros de distância. Bem ao lado da porta do hotel há um bar, onde se pode relaxar com uma cerveja ao final de um dia de visitas pela cidade.

• Gini (10/5): Heerlijk verblijf op een top locatie - Lekker stadshotel op een top locatie. Heerlijk ontbijt en vriendelijk personeel. Heerlijk grote kamer gehad in de Suite. Alles beviel. Er werd wat gebouwd in de buurt, maar wij hebben daar weinig overlast van ondervonden.

• Joseph (10/5): - Himare is a very busy location with several beach front options. This property is right in front of the beach. There are beach umbrellas available for the guests, however, you better get there early. It is very close to many restaurant and shopping opportunities. The roads are very narrow and congested. There is no parking at this location, but there are a few paid parking options a few hundred yards away. The breakfast was great with a nice variety of options. Everything is very clean and well kept.

The first one was really nice, but the AC was not working. The bathroom in the second room could have used some repairs, and had a leaky sink. However, the AC in that room was working. The location was great!

Walking distance to pedestrian street in town centre. Excellent quality and comfortable room. Quiet location.
• Travelhui (8/5): A nice room in a cheap hotel - For the money, this hotel offers a nice room: modern design and clean. Bed and beddings are comfortable. Strangely, on my second night there, part of the ceiling light just clicked on by itself, and I couldn't shut it off. It went off by itself after about a minute or two: a bit spooky. That is pretty much all you get though. The front desk is nice but not too helpful: they can't help arrange taxi or tell you accurate information about buses to Tirana. The breakfast they offer is not onsite: it is in the hotel's sister restaurant a few hundred meters away. There is a cafe next door, but it offers no food whatsoever: strictly coffee only (as it is with every other coffee bar in the neighborhood). So long as you know you are just getting a nice room and much else, you'd be fine.
• Lonnie (6/5): DO NOT STAY HERE. Much better more reasonably priced places to stay in the vicinity. - Big, modern room. Comfortable bed. Large bathroom. Big soft towels. It was the most expensive place we stayed in Albania and no hot water for shower when we arrived. Very disappointing after returning from hiking in Theth/Valbona, and no apology or contact from manager. Breakfast not included. Electrical sockets were falling out of the wall. Electric blind didn't work. Staff at front desk was not helpful/knowledgeable of local area or friendly. We stayed somewhere else in Shkodra before going to Theth for a fraction of the price which was a much better stay.

The location is good - a bit away from the main street which also means it's nice a quiet but still within walking distance to the main street and the restaurants/bars. The receptionist wasn't super informative and we didn't really get details on breakfast. We ended up going somewhere else so I can't say how it actually was.

• Wentink (10/5): Very nice central hotel downtown Shkodër with very friendly attentive staff - Very clean and modern hotel with extremely attentive staff, at least from the black haired receptionists. Also the cleaning women did an excellent job and were very friendly. The hotel ist located in a small road very close to the Boulevard Skënderbeu and therefore many restaurants, shops and cafes within 5-10min walk. The breakfast is served in a cafe restaurant within 2-3min walking time and the waiters were very friendly too. The breakfast was delicious. A little minus we didn’t get was why breakfast was not served on the outside terrace but only inside in the room. But it was not a problem at all, would have made our experience just way better. Parking is good due to the hotel parking lot which was closed off with a chain and the receptionists let you in and out quickly Also advice for activities by the reception were great, all at all we recommend the hotel very much!

• Ameer (9/5): Nice boutique hotel - Nice boutique style hotel, it has a secure car park opposite, which is always locked. It is in a quiet location. The staff were very helpful and suggesting places to visit or a good restaurant. The location is good, very near to town and the other way near to the old village. The rooms as very near to each other, so when somebody goes in or out you can hear the doors bang.

• Verified traveler (10/5): Great place - Very nice hotel with a big room. Clean and fresh, loved staying there. Super central and quiet from the hustle and bustle. Only minus is they don't have a kettle to boil water for tea or coffee, which I would expect from a place with this standard. Also it's very loud from the paper thin doors, so difficult to sleep if people are up early, even with earplugs in. Still I would stay here again :)

• DanO68 (10/5): Modern, comfortable, and quirky - and a great gym! - Located in the heart of the city, you can’t do much better than the Petit Hotel Elita. The location is great, just a few short blocks away from the historical center and the pedestrian area. Tons of great restaurants around and only 100m from a bike rental agency. There is plenty of free parking out front which is always a nice bonus in these old cities. The hotel is new, modern and well-maintained. It’s also a bit quirky as they’ve used a lot of non-right angles in the construction and decoration of the rooms. Many things you’d expect to be square or rectangle are not, which I thought was a very interesting effect. Our corner room was very large and airy with plenty of windows. There was a spacious sitting area, a sleeping area, and a large bathroom. Plenty of space to unpack and lay things out. The room was clean, very comfortable, quiet, and we had a great sleep. There were 2 TVs, one in the sleeping area and 1 in the sitting area, but no English language programming that we could find. The free Wifi seemed to be a bit slow most of the time. Big bonus - hotel guests get free access to a commercial gym only about 100m away from the hotel. The gym is complete, as you’d expect, full of cardio machines and a huge variety of machine weights and free weights. We were really impressed by the friendly, service-oriented hotel staff. They spoke great English and really made us feel at home. We had an amazing stay and would love to stay here again. Highly recommend to other travelers.
• Tracy (10/5): Great location, hotel, staff, and gym!!! - This is a wonderful accommodation option right in the heart of the city! A large parking area is available in an empty section, right across the road from the hotel. The staff here are super efficient and friendly. We were leaving early, so a take-away breakfast was organised for us, which we appreciated! Aside from the location, which is great, we were super impressed with being able to use a nearby fully-functional (and independent) gym, free of charge. Our room size was huge, with a separate lounge area. I would not hesitate to recommend this hotel to anyone passing through for a night, or several nights. Nil

Staff provided nothing…no attention, no help, no info ….not even a free local map or able to give directions to castle(its main city attraction)….simply felt unwelcome there! Their restaurant charges 15 euros for breakfast which is 3 times other good local places and would not serve someone wanting just a coffee and croissant …said no! Many other good options in this town… a five star hotel there for same price !

O quarto é amplo, mas o problema foi o ar condicionado que fica na entrada do quarto, na altura do chão e é de controle central. Chegamos em uma tarde de muito calor e o ar condicionado não dava vazão. Ajustaram somente a noite e foi ok. Seria melhor que o aparelho ficasse na direção das camas e o hóspede pudesse controlar a temperatura. Reservamos o passeio para Shala River direto na recepção. Notem que demora quase 4h para ir (van + barco) e depois para voltar (na recepção informaram 2h, mas isso não é nem o tempo da van).

• Chelsea (9/5): Superb - The bed and pillows were the most comfortable throughout my time in Albania. Very modern, comfortable room. Great location. Food really good at the restaurant. The staff were helpful and accommodating. I would recommend staying here. The AC was not very powerful and struggled to cool the room during the day. The coolest it would get was 22. At night, it would get down to 20. Also, in order to allow the air to flow into the room, I had to keep the curtains open on the one window. Otherwise, the curtains would cover the AC vent.

Der Sat-Empfang ist sehr gestört. Das Frühstück im Restaurant 100 m. (gehört zum Hotel) ist bei 7 Tagen etwas eintönig. Und nur eine Tasse Kaffee/ Tee. Auch kein Büfett. Tischfrühstück. Schade. Wenn wir wieder in Shkoder sind, wohnen wir wieder im Hotel Petit Elita. Danke.

We informed the receptionist several time and they send a house keeper to clean however the smell was still the same which is a downside for the hotel
