Guest Reviews
- Stefanus (3/5): Poor and very disappointed - The price. That is all I liked anm the Barman and The Congolese Guy who booked me in was very friendly.....but there was nobody there to properly asist Very unorganised.Facilities very poor. Not clean. No proper kitchen facilities. Very unorganised reception. Comapared to Melville house they are very poor. Plenty of pot smoking - Not My idea of fun if You want to relax and You have to smell the shit for more than 30 minutes

- Layman (1/5): Cheap… but at What Cost? - They say “cheap is expensive,” and wow… this place really went above and beyond to prove that point.
The bed deserves special mention, if your dream has always been to sleep directly on metal springs with a thin layer of fabric pretending to be a mattress, then congratulations, this is the place for you. I left with a sore body and a newfound appreciation for chiropractors.
The room had a very distinct smell. Not quite sure what the theme was somewhere between “forgotten storage unit” and “questionable life choices” but it definitely wasn’t fresh.
In an attempt to escape the room, I went to the entertainment area, only to be warmly welcomed by cockroaches. At least something there was lively and thriving.
To give credit where it’s due, the place is in a quiet, safe neighborhood which is great, because you’ll need peace and safety to recover from the experience.
All in all, not worth the money. Unless discomfort, mystery smells, and unexpected insect encounters are part of your travel checklist, I’d suggest looking elsewhere

- Mziwenhlanhla (1/5): Bad - I book to sleep one night but I don't sleep there. The code for gate was not working. No one was answer the calls no security. I want a refund Nothing poor service no communication with the guest house
- Nunes (6/5): A place 2 stay - I liked that the place it is clean and secure for my car and for me. Beautiful property in a great area! Close 2 shops. People other than the staff r pretty friendly. I love trees on the property!! I did appreciate it when the Owner heard my complaints he did apologise and for the nxt stay he did say it will be better 4 me!! I chose this place cos of the wifi and unfortunately in the girls dorm I couldn't get wifi which was very frustrating and I had 2 go out in the cold 2 use it and last night was very cold. I enquired about this and I did whatsapp the Owner but go no answer only until the morning. The 1 staff lady was rude 2 me when I arrived as I arrived at peak time and she told me 3x she was busy and this her time 2 serve and make money. I did understand that, however, I had 2 wait 2 get taken 2 my room and she didnt follow the Owners instructions, which made me unhappy. I had a long day and I just wanted 2 get 2 my room. Her attitude was rude, disrespectful and aggressive and uncalled 4. Then the Chef I asked him 2 bring me hot water so I cld make some tea and he brought it in a drinking glass not a proper cup 4 tea so his fingers were burning. Then they didn't have a 2 pin plug in the room I stayed in, so I had 2 ask the security guard to loan me his, which he did. Then this morning I asked the Chef for hot water again 2 make tea and he then brought me his kettle from his room and said this was his and I must return it. So I didnt bother to use the kettle. The Owners apologised and said they only saw my messages in the morning. I then returned the key and left.

- Senna (10/5): Exceptional -
- Metsemebedi (1/5): Bad - Nothing at all except for location The place is filthy dirty.
- Charmaine (7/5): Good - It was near to my lodging place, safe and secure. Shower water was cold.
- Maaladiatla (3/5): Poor -
- Makete (8/5): Very good -
- Wayne (3/5): Poor - The rooms were decent, the environment was good The facilities were terrible. No hot water, TV wasn't working. Exiting the guest house was a mission as staff didnt give the code for entry and exit. Sat and waited almost 15 min to get out. Not good if you need to be somewhere on time.
- Ndamulelo (1/5): Water - There was no hot water, and bath room door doesnt function well
- Buso (3/5): Alright. - I had to pay for breakfast but it was said yo be free. I couldn’t shower on the first night, the water was cold even on the last morning I showered with cold water. The carpet on in the room had so many stains like there has been no maintenance for years. But oh well, I had brought my own blankets, they only had a cover, super old, sheet ancient old, I think if I had tried to touch them at all they would have torn. I saw that the building is on auction, I’d advise they do better next time but oh well. Bedding.
