- Knoll (9/5): - Wenn auch das Zimmer nicht groß und die Ausstattung in die Jahre gekommen war, war an alles gedacht was ein Reisender brauchen könnte. Das Frühstück war sehr gut und abwechslungsreich. Besonders gefallen hat uns das gemütliche Ambiente des Raumes, in dem das Frühstück eingenommen wird. Alles war sauber und das Personal dezent höflich. Die angebotene Happy Hour haben wir zwar nur einmal aus Zeitmangel genutzt, empfanden wir aber als tolles zusätzliches Angebot.

- Evelina (3/5): Unpleasant experience - The only part I liked was the location. The room had no windows, so the interior felt dark and cellar-like. It was also very cold, about 15C when I arrived. After I turned off the AC, a strong moldy smell filled the room which I believe was worsened by the lack of ventilation. I had to request a heater but it provided little help.

- rika (8/5): 古きよきプチホテル - 古さは感じるものの、生花や果物がルームにありインテリアや配置に美意識を感じた。 朝食もまずまず良かった。夕方無料のハッピーアワーがあり、種類は少な目だけどバランスよくメニューをルーティンされていた。 ワイン、ビールなどあり良かった。 台北のホテルは朝食つかず高いのに、このお値段でコスパです。スタッフも日本や日本語を話せる人がいて安心でした。 泊まったお部屋の窓があったが、開けると隣りの建物の裏壁で残念、外の匂いが入り、換気出来なかった。 照明は暗めでムーディだけど、昼間はもう少し明るく出来るといい。自然光が欲しかった。観葉植物などの緑もあるといい。

- Carol (5/5): Underwhelmed - Location was great, staff are friendly. Price was good for DaAn. Poor housekeeping - we stayed 8 nights in two rooms, a suite and the superior double. As soon as I walked in I saw multiple strands of hair in the bathroom from the previous guest, and mould in the shower - rooms are very old & dated. They don't vacuum the rooms every day so had to request it separately. There's no central heating (only aircon and fan) so we were freezing and had to request extra blankets and an electric heater. No basic amenities (govt regulated) or mini bar items, breakfast ends at 10am and the range is limited. No parking available, no gym.

- Christian (9/5): Very nice stay at a perfect location. - Extraordinaria Staff. Always helpful and very friendly. The location is perfect in DaAn. Price is also relatively good when you compare it to other hotels in the area. If you stay in Taipei consider the DaAn district. Rooms could use some renovation - it is not the most modern hotel in DaAn, but again it was more than appropriate for the price.

Sadly no gym and swimming pool - was quite disappointed. Initially thought I saw a picture of a gym when booking but not sure if got taken down or something.

It is not necessarily the most modern hotel, but it is clean, extremely comfortable and is very charming, from the stationery in the desk to the fresh fruit on a pedestal and the free mini bar. Plus, the staff are very friendly and accommodating. A home away from home in Taipei.

The staff is friendly and the hotel is clean, comfortable, and modern - all you need when you’re away from home! I would highly recommend this hotel and would stay here again.

Plus, we knew the area — SOGO basement’s grocery store & food court for albeit pricey, wonderful deli & bakery treats for dining in our room. All of the staff communicated quite well with non-mandarin speakers & helped with various special requests. I rarely rate & review, but this hotel was perfect.

- Parichat (8/5): Small and cozy hotel. - Tucked away in a hidden alley of the busy Da’An area. Many restaurants around especially hi ends. Rooms are nicely decorated though a bit dated. Breakfast spread is very good. Far away from train stations, either Da’An or Zhongxiao-Fuxing, but walkable if weather allows. I personally like to run at Da’An Forest Park so it is a bit of a distance to get there.

Overall did seem like a great 4 star hotel.
