There was an extra step after pushing the button of floor option. I tried all options of the extra step with no solution. As well the electric system was faulty. The card to insert that was to turn on/off the lights, also turns off the heat. It was ice cold in the apartment. The host said to pull out the card to turn off the lights, which turned off the heat. As well, luckily I had a flash light at the bedside so I could see in the dark to turn on the lights. Initially,I thought it was the remote to manage the thermastat. The host said he would reboot or reset? the remote the next day. But when I awakened, the remote was still blinking 00 and he never responded as to the cause and solution of the heating mechanism.

It is dark, the AC doesn’t work, no black out curtains and very very dangerous and pitch black stairs leading 4 flights to the drab room. The pictures of the seating area are actually outside the room and not part of the booking.

Faltaria poder encender la calefacción del baño o dejar instrucciones. De todos modos si contactas con los anfitriones te responden rápido.

The staff were very nice and helpful through WhatsApp. I didn’t realize it wasn’t a staffed space, more of a bed and breakfast. I was confused at first when they texted to ask for my arrival time- then when we arrived we had to wait on the street for 15 min as he had to take care of an emergency at another apartment. Overall, this was a place to crash- so it was clean and in a great location- we were happy with the booking.

• Tammy (8/5): Exactly what we were looking for! - The apartment is quiet, but still close to the attractions that we were visiting. We are a family of four (children 11 & 17) and we were within walking distance to Santa Maria Del Fiore, Boboli Gardens, Palazza Vecchio, Piazzale Michelangelo (for sunset), Lots of Shops, Bars & Restaurants and the train-station (15 mins with little feet in 37 degree heat!). We had everything we needed for a 3 night stay and Leonardo was helpful and always at the end of the phone if we needed anything. The apartment was clean and had a kettle, small fridge, AC, hairdryer, complimentary bodywash and a safe. The only thing I will say is that there is a small lift that is accessed up one flight of stairs, so if you have a buggy or wheelchair you might struggle. We just used the stairs to the top floor to work off the Affogato's and Gelatos!

Allowed us to check out a few minutes late and store our bags which was a huge plus. Awesome area as the neighborhood has amazing dining options. Everything is walkable from there too.

• Todd (10/5): - We had a wonderful family trip (with 2 teenagers) to Florence and enjoyed staying at Santo Spirito Venti. Our room was spacious, clean and we gad attentive service. This neighborhood is across the Arno River from the Florence City Center, but short walk to the Duomo, Ponte Vecchio and Uffizi Museum. Thiis oltrarno neighborhood was less crowded and quieter than the historic center. Our host Leonardo was very helpful with recommendations for restaurants, gelato and arranged our early morning taxi ride to the airport.

• Jorge (8/5): - Great, lively area of popular bars and restaurants very walkable to major Florence sights on both sides of the river. Room is small but efficient and comfortable. I do miss that it is not a full-service hotel. The host, Leonardo is very nice and had some great restaurant recommendations, but he is not normally present. In order to check in, first you must arrange by phone/text to meet you on the street to let you in and finish the process. I recommend it for travelers used to travel light and who don’t require traditional hotel services, but not for everyone.
• Jiayi (5/5): Passable - Location is in great, walking distance to all attractions. The room is a bit old, but understandable as it is in a historical building in center Florence. The host is friendly and very helpful with the check in process. We left some cash in the safe of the room and lost some of it when we're away during the day. Don't leave valuable belongings or cash in the hotel.

• Nancy (3/5): Find someplace else to stay - The only thing I liked was where it was located Where do I start. The room was way too small. I felt like I was in a closet. There was a smell. The floors weren’t clean. The pillows were very hard and uncomfortable. I wouldn’t recommend that other than if you want to stay in a tiny little closet, but I would not return plus we didn’t even use our last night. We moved on
• Charlotte (8/5): Good location, nice place, issues were resolved quickly - The location is great. The owner who greeted us on arrival was very helpful and knowledgeable about the area and later messaged with suggestions for dinner and gelato. The beds were very hard. I had a stain on the throw on my bed, but this was remedied when I reported this. Our coffee pods were not replenished each day, but after asking we were given more. Breakfast is in a lovely chain of coffee shops, but it’s a good 5 minute walk away. Overall, it’s a nice place to stay, in a good location, but if you have mobility issues, there are steps to climb before you can access the lift Softer bed, no coffee and sugar being replenished without having to ask for it as you would have to wait until housekeeping came back the next day.

You will have access to almost all the shops and attractions, the property was extremely clean. The bed was very comfortable, I was impressed with the sheets quality. Reserve it and you won’t regret your decision.

A great part - The room was large and the air con was good The staff , Filipio was amazing and so helpful. The elevator was a plus! The added breakfast was quality but on Saturday they don’t open up til 830 which was late for day of departure. He adjusted the safe to get it working. I was surprised it was an bed and breakfast because we thought it an apartment But we liked it regardless
