Clean and tidy and spacious in a ~200 square metre room. Good hospitality too. Thank you Tiffany from the hotel greeted us before and during the stay.

- puishanmariac (10/5): Great professional service from Front Desk Thomas - Great location, 3 minutes from Fortess Hill station. Neighborhood had plenty of eateries and supermarkets. Great professional service by Front Desk Thomas, very welcoming. Common area and room very clean. In the middle of strong typhoon, hotel very thoughtful not only having regular menu. But have special take away menu with very reasonable price. Great management as avoid guest going out when everything shut down during typhoon.

I was surprised that they didn’t provide bottled water, toothbrushes, etc., but they explained that this was due to the government’s environmental protection policy. The Fortress Hill MTR station and the A11 airport bus stop are just a few minutes' walk away. A pedestrian bridge protected us from the rain and the scorching sun. Restaurants, supermarkets, bakeries, and laundry shops are all nearby. Since it rained a lot, I didn’t like the puddles at street level.

- Kaman (10/5): - Very happy with the hotel. The hotel is two blocks away from the MTR and has a shelter bridge that connect to the MTR. The A11 airport bus drop you off a block away so very convenience as well. Has a beautiful outdoor pool. The room is spacious and updated. Two little thing is that the main lobby is little tricky to locate and the hotel elevators are slow and only seem to work one at a time despite that there are 4 available.

Quickly checked me in and had helpful information about what to see and do in HongKong. The room was already cooled off, which was awsome after coming in with the heat and humidity. Beautiful room, clean and my room had a view of the harbor. Bed is soft, pillows were super soft, but you can request firm or medium from the staff. Glad I picked this hotel to stay in.

- pui (8/5): - Expedia did not put my middle name which caused a few problems at check in.Had to show my booking with Expedia app which I had my middle name in the app.I has to show my email from Expedia plus my mobile number so I could get the room.Got a room directly in front of the lifts so can hear some noise.The heavy chair in the room so when I try to sit down would can a noise on the floor.This I can hear from the room above me.If you do not come by taxi and come by MTR then you have to get to the hotel over the bridge which has positives.You avoid the bright sunshine / when it rains.Luckily I read previous customers about how to get to hotel.The room was adequate especially for Hong Kong.Bathroom was clean.There was also a face flannel which quite a few hotels no longer provide.The was face tissue too.A negative was not drinking water.In other North Point hotels that I stayed in.There was filtered water with a jug to contain the water.Hotel has breakfast,lunch,tea time and dinner but did not have time to sample.I find May hotel prices are affordable.If same low prices will definitely return.The daily cleaning you can press clean my room or do not disturb.Will look forward my next visit to Hotel Alexandra if prices is low but sadly looking at November time I doubt I am willing to pay the double the price !

- 138jamesn (8/5): Great central location for a HK city break - Warmly welcomed and a smoothie and efficient check-in at this nicely located hotel. The entrance and lobby area hallways are all very grand looking with far more chandeliers than are probably necessary for function but looks great. My room was a standard room and it was reasonably sized for a HK room with a very comfortable bed, small seating area, table and unit that included a microwave (they offer 30+ day stay offers which looks like really good pricing). The bathroom is small but the use of mirrors make it feel larger and the shower is ample and spacious. The pool is nice for getting a few lengths in although in the evenings tended to have people lounging in it so harder to swim. The gym is small but reasonably equipped with various treadmills, cycles, free weights and other machines. They provide towels and water too. I didn't eat here but the smell from the dining room as I arrived and left was mouth watering. I think this is one of the best value hotels bearing in mind the quality and location. I would definitely stay again. My only gripe is the TV channel list didn't appear to match the channels being shown!

Convenient location, tons of restaurants within 10 minutes of walk, 5 minutes walk to subway station, a short block to the main road King's Road. Ended up I cancelled another hotel and stayed in this hotel again for another week after cruise.
- Vincent (10/5): Brilliant! - Perfect, what i think is a hidden gem in HK. Location is perfect and only a 5 minute walk over the footbridge at Fortress Hill station. The reception staff welcomed me so warmly and advised my room was ready to check in even though i was 4 hours early which i was extremely grateful for. An Ironing board was provided promptly on request. I would 100% stay here again on my next visit to Hong Kong
- Fu (6/5): - Enough room in thw room. A sofa bed for day time sitting. More storage room under the sofa bed. Seems dufficukt to maintain the temp in order to have a good night sleep. Either too cold or too warm. I like most part of the hotel but one major dislije is the damp floor. The wood floor from the area beyond the bathroom towards the window get damp for some reason. I suspect its related to where the AC blows out the air. Its not safe and not comfortable and its the main complaint i have. I wont return until its fixed. I like everything else duribg my stay.

- poonam1905 (10/5): Super comfy stay - The hotel is fabulous, loved the decor of the hotel…the room size is pretty decent and has all the basic necessities. I was in HK for a work trip and had a very comfortable stay. The staff is also pretty helpful, if you need early check in or late check out just ask the staff and they really are helpful. The location is very convenient, lots of coffee and grocery shops in the vicinity, the area is also pretty safe even late in the night, the MTR is also at a walking distance ..I will surely stay in this hotel during my next visit.

Check in, not so good,2 people on reception taking a long time sorting out problems,approx 25mins. Room, traveling around Asia visiting 5 different places and this one has to be the smallest of them all,wasn't happy with it at all,reported to the reception, was told all rooms are the same,don't believe that.!!!!!! Breakfast,their was a variety of food to choose from unfortunately the hot food was cold/luke warm as well as the room itself. Bar not impressed it was part of the breakfast room,cold and not welcoming.(4 chairs at the counter) Staff mostly where friendly and helpful. I have traveled a lot over the years,although it is my first time to Asia. Asked about the swimming pool and was told it was closed.It is April no excuses given. Management need to wake up,I'm sorry about this bad review as I genuinely had hope to finish our 40th wedding anniversary trip on a high.

The first time we came to stay in Hotel Alexandra was back in Dec 2023 and we were so impressive that we promise ourselves that when we come to Hong Kong again we definitely will stay in Hotel Alexandra because of the service . Joeland Lo the Front Office Manager was very professional and offered to help even for minor little things . He took an extra mile and treated us like valuable client and also as a friend . We felt so warm and comfortable like staying at home because of Joeland . Thomas Leung of the Front Office was fantastic . He was very patient, polite and willing to help whatever he could . Both Joeland and Thomas were the main attraction that we came back to stay in Hotel Alexandra because they offered the best service that made our stay a happy one . On the other hand I would like to give credit to all Front Office staff and even the housekeeping team as they responded my request immediately . The hotel is clean and glamorous especially the marvellous hallway and the beautiful banquet function rooms. Our family will come to Hong Kong again within the next 12 months and will not book for any other hotel but only will stay in Hotel Alexandra .

Also, to handle the high humidity in Hong Kong, we have to turn the AC to very cold to avoid the wet and sticky flood. If their AC has build-in dehumidifier that will be great.

- LTINTravel (8/5): Hotel Alexandra is a good choice - I booked a hotel guest room online probably at its best price…so I found no amenities in the guest room! I really need a shower cap to prevent getting my shoulder length hair wet. However, the location is perfect. I could walk all the way from exit B of Fortress Hill MTR station to the hotel on a covered foot bridge! The younger staff members at the reception desk were quite proud that they were right and that the customer must have been wrong. However, the senior manager on duty was flexible and took friendly decision to offer a room with writing desk which was what I needed most for my business trip, and I had called up the hotel to make sure that it has this room type before I booked a room online for eight days. Good stay, nice cleaning lady and good partial sea view.

- frankcp2024 (10/5): Hotel Alexandra hotel Hong Kong review - The hotel is right the center of Hong Kong. From the airport you take City Bus A11. This bus will stop about 5 minutes walk from the hotel. You can easily find food, convenience stores in this area. You can access to anywhere in Hong Kong with their bus and subway’s system , taxis and uber. The hotel is new and clean with beautiful lobby design! We stayed at the clover room which has a city/harbor view. The room is average in size but it’s sufficient for us since we had experienced with hotel room size while traveling to Japan The hotel staff are really nice. When we got there we were greeted by very nice and professional front desk team. Especially Joeland Lo and his associate, Kummy Leung went extra miles to help us when we found out my wife passport was lost! I highly recommend the Alexandra hotel to anyone who wish to visit Hong Kong.

- Gregory (6/5): - Not the best location and the rooms are small. We had connecting rooms and it was still small. The staff weren’t that nice/helpful with our luggage either.
- JOHN LAB MAN (8/5): - The lobby misrepresents the hotel....because it suggests the rest of the hotel is nice and luxurious....but rooms are at best 6/10. They're small and not that luxurious...but you get used to it. So disappointing the swimming pool was out of action....guests should have got a discount. Also staff are generally very polite...and multilingual which is good to see. They need to convert through outside courtyard into a cafe. That will bring in more customers.

- April (10/5): Top hotel - Excellent stay from start so finish, I asked if I could have a room close to the lifts as I have had a knee replacement and one step from the lift I was in my room. Close to the metro, buses and trams, very good
- Terence (8/5): Hotel Alexandra North Point HK - This hotel is in a quiet neighborhood of Electric Road. There is an Oil street open space and recreation area next to the hotel. The hotel itself is very well furnished and has a restaurant, cafe and a takeaway pastry shop. The staff is very helpful and there is stable wi-fi. Housekeeping will check on whether the room is cleaned each day.
- Hon Kin Benedict (10/5): Beautiful, clean, spacious, fantastic location - Wonderful stay at this beautiful hotel. Perfect location near Fortress Hill MTR (but away from the noisy traffic) and plenty of eateries and grocery shops nearby and also near bus and tram stops. The room is clean, spacious (for HK hotel standards) and the lobby is stunning. There's a gym and pool as well. Staff were all great including housekeeping.

- Chung (6/5): - First of all, it was really frustrating when the hotel staff advised us that they couldn't find any reservation record of our stay, despite our showing of the payment to Expedia and Itinerary number. The hotel staff advised us to contact Expedia Canada to sort that out ourselves and as such we have to call long-distance from Hong Kong. While it was finally sorted out, it was extremely stressful and costs us money to pay for long-distance roaming. Other than that, overall the hotel is OK.

- kengohcp (4/5): Worse hotel service experience - This hotel is a standard, low-cost option that is typical for Hong Kong, where most accommodations are small. It offers minimal amenities, with very basic provisions in the room—there's no ironing board, toothbrush, or bottled water provided. Unfortunately, the room quality and service leave much to be desired. I wasn't impressed with the city view room, as it directly faces residential condos. The sea view room offers only a partial view, which isn’t worth the price. I'm staying on the 10th floor, and I recommend higher floors above the 30th for a better experience. The hospitality here is lacking; don’t expect good service, particularly from the younger staff, who seem poorly trained. On the other hand, a few senior staff members are acceptable. While the hotel is near an MTR station, getting to the hotel can be challenging. If you have other options, I suggest avoiding this place. Try the Holiday Inn Express instead; they offer better service, are more accommodating for business travelers, and include breakfast, all for a similar price.
