Rooms, service, and staff were all fantastic with no problems encountered at all. Each staff member was engaging, professional and courteous. Service support for breakfast and lobby drinks was beyond terrific and meet our needs quickly and efficiently. The hotel location is central to Rome with only a few minute walk to Piazza Barberini. Quiet street made for a good night’s rest. The front desk made several suggestions for nearby restaurants which we took and enjoyed thoroughly. All in all, we can’t wait to return.

Breakfast was full this morning, and we waited around 10 minutes (in fairness for a table of 6) and even that was handled in a classy manner with us being comfortably seated and brought coffee whilst we waited. Would certainly come again.

- Petite_fit (10/5): Rome Vacation - The hotel staff in particular the first desk were very accommodating and professional. I enjoyed a nice cup of tea while waiting for my room (early check-in). The room was ready within 15 minutes after checking in. The hotel is simply beautiful a step back in time in terms of the opulence and grandeur. It’s very convenient in terms of Rome attractions and Vatican City (15 minutes taxi ride or public transportation 4 minutes walk from hotel).

From the moment we arrived the service was exceptional, warm, genuine and effortless. It’s impossible to single anyone out because every single member of staff was outstanding. Nothing ever felt like too much trouble and everything was done with a smile. Travelling with a child who has severe allergies can be stressful, but here we felt completely safe and understood. The team handled it with real care and confidence, which allowed us to properly relax and enjoy our holiday. The hotel itself was spotless, comfortable and incredibly convenient, but what really makes it special is the atmosphere, friendly, welcoming and calm throughout. We absolutely loved our stay and would return without hesitation. One of those rare places where everything just works.

However, if we are happy, I do write a TripAdvisor review. I was a bit hesitant about writing this review because the room we were given had a window that did not open and did not receive any daylight. Still, I decided to write it because overall it is a nice hotel. The location is central. It is a 2-minute walk to Barberini Metro Station and about a 15-minute walk to Via del Corso. The room is luxurious but has a lot of marble. Of course, some people may really like that. The bathroom is comfortable. We had dinner at the Onyx restaurant and enjoyed it. The breakfast is good. I especially loved the croissants.

- 665CC665 (10/5): Great family experience especially with young children - Great family experience! Our family of 9 (6 adults, a 3 year old, a 1 year old, a 6 month old) stayed here in July 2025. We had 3 separate rooms. The hotel was clean, well decorated and the rooms were spacious. The staff was fabulous! The staff was very courteous and attentive. They were especially kind to the children/babies in our family. They learned their names and call them by name during our stay. We utililized room service once on our arrival day and the restaurant for breakfast two mornings, both were exceptional and would recommend. The staff were also very helpful with directions, suggestions and currency exchange. We would definately stay here again. Also, prior to our stay and reservation, Valeria Bocchino, reservation agent, was extremely helpful with questions and helping us book the the best rooms to suit our needs.

When guests raise complaints, they are treated with arrogance and indifference. The reception service is terrible, unwelcoming, and staff members seem permanently stressed, unable to even offer a simple smile. I was initially placed in an accessible room that I did not book, with a very high toilet, no shower enclosure, and an overall uncomfortable layout. When I complained, the alternative offered was a room next to a very noisy street, which the staff member Mariateresa herself admitted was not worth changing to because of the noise. The restaurant offers extremely limited options, with prices far too high for the quality delivered. The food is expensive, limited, and unpleasant in taste. Basic items such as shampoo were not properly replenished in the room, and overall cleanliness was poor. This was an accumulation of issues that clearly does not justify the investment. There are infinitely better hotel options in Rome. NEVER STAY AT THIS HOTEL.

Every thing was outstanding the front desk staff were awesome from directions to helping with rides to restaurant recommendations. The nightly turndown service was excellent as was the morning breakfast with everything from brewed to order coffee to breakfast to Prosecco! We were on our way to Milan and Switzerland but this stay was by far the best! Forza AS ROMA!

Our room was lovely, and the bathroom especially was very spacious and spotless. The location couldn’t be better: central yet perfectly quiet. We were only there for two nights, so we didn’t have time to experience the spa or breakfast — but we will definitely be back!

Because the day you arrive, they will call you saying that they are having an issue with their floors (probably overbooked) and that we will have to go to the different hotel. - Lynsey (9/5): Comfortable, quality hotel but don’t expect a seat by the pool when it’s hot. - This hotel ticked most of the boxes for our three night stay in Rome. It is well located, spotlessly clean and the staff are attentive and helpful. Breakfast choices were plentiful and our son’s dairy allergy was well managed. It’s a beautiful building with plenty of charm and all the extra touches you’d expect from a hotel in this price bracket. Well located, we could easily walk to many of the sights in Rome we wanted to see, but took a cab to the Colosseum due to the heat. We ate dinner at the hotel on the first night and were a little underwhelmed. We thought it was overpriced and didn’t live up to our expectations sadly. The pool on the roof is really too small for the size of the hotel, with nowhere near enough seating and little in the way of shade. It was almost 40 degrees so we really needed a space to cool off and ended up back in our room :(

Greeted by an incredibly rude front of house staff member, with some serious attitude! The concierge unfortunately were not well informed about the area and couldn’t give us any local recommendations on where to eat or what to do. And, we came back to our room to find a dirty cloth left in our bathroom on the sink! Not what we expected after all the amazing reviews and given this is a Hilton. We’re very loyal Hilton guests but not for us in Rome next time sadly.

It is in a relatively quiet sidestreet but also just a 10 minute walk to both the Trevi, the Spanish Steps and the main shopping/restaurant areas. There is also a small pool on the roof which was great for a quick swim after so much walking and it has a spa. More importantly, the staff were uber professional and yet warm and friendly - they honestly could not have done more to make my birthday break a special one. Most notably, Antonella and the breakfast team and Marieteresa who was at the end of the WhatsApp making sure every request was fulfilled, speedily. They all went that extra mile. We would highly recommend this hotel and will definitely rebook when we return to Rome.
