- Lyssa26 (8/5): Good times! - Had a great time back, since their closure last year due to renovations. Some changes were noticed like their lobby area, rooms appear smaller than before with some changes, the AC needs improvement, 68f was the coolest. Snacks/food area in the reserve area/adults only area was better before with more options. No changes were noted in the adults only area, before closing we were told an infinity pool was in the works for this area, disappointed not see this be. With it just being reopened, staffing is short, we had to wait awhile for most restaurants for food to be delivered, the cabana beds also took awhile, only 1 person, taking care of guests, where as before there was always 2 people working that reserve area. Over all had a pleasant time, Estephany our personal concierge was great! She made sure we had everything we needed and more. She went above and beyond helping us to celebrate an anniversary and birthday. We had nice dessert surprises at dinner and back in our room with special wine, champagne and room decorations! Thank you Estephany for making our stay special, we appreciate you! Look forward to coming back.

- 732doc4444 (8/5): Still Luxurious, But Changing - I’ve been visiting this resort for over 10 years and have brought family, friends, etc. The Reserve has been a mainstay for me, a place of peace and relaxation. My post-renovation visit, however, was disappointing. The caliber of service seems much lower and less personalized. The special Paradisus luxuries like cookies at night, having your bathwater run, or having someone unpack your luggage were not even offered. The renovations have made the rooms feel much smaller and would benefit from better planning. The 60 inch TV screen that never even came on completely blocked half the gorgeous view in the ocean view junior suite. Although this was once a customized experience, I found it difficult to acquire fresh hot food from room service, or even fruit, juice, etc., in the mini bar, which was consistently stocked with sodas and beer. I drink neither. This visit was twofold: time to celebrate my birthday and intended to provide a thorough review for my corporate Clients, but it seems this spectacular destination is still transitioning after being closed for 10 months. The classic birthday balloons and bottle of champagne is still a nice touch, but the Melia service I’ve appreciated for years was gone.

- Gmiller5374 (10/5): Great Resort Amazing Staff - We just returned from a 7 night stay at Paradisus Cancun. My wife and I wanted to come back after the renovations were completed this year after an amazing stay in March of 2025. All I can say is that the resort is great and the staff is amazing. We will be back again and again with our next trip already planned for later this year. We were blown away by the attention to detail and the fact that many of staff remembered us from our last stay. Restaurants were all very good. Food in general was all very good. Drinks were aplenty and served quickly. Entertainment was available as well. Zestys was a very warm atmosphere (temp wise) Blue Agave was very accommodating, Pizza ok, coffee shop great, ice cream place great, buffet not so great. Amazing People....Not in order Julio is amazing Ceasar is amazing Alejandro is amazing Valentina is amazing Gemma is great Yamil is great Jesus is great David is great (last day 5/20/26) Mickey Mouse (they know) is great Donald Duck (they know) is great Please know that many travelers to this resort come from outside of the USA and do not tip (part of their culture), but the amazing people in this resort deserve a little attention. They give you their undivided attention while you are there to make your stay amazing so please consider a tip to show your appreciation. While not expected it is well received as they work very hard for everyone that is there tips or not.
- E7477BZterriw (8/5): Without a doubt - Apart from not being accommodated to the Reserve side of the resort, our experience was exceptional with our concierge Estephany. We made an intentional decision to make the best of our stay. Estaphany was patient, she listened and she heard us. She was very accommodating and made sure we had everything we needed. If she didn't have the answer, she found the answer. Service was exceptional. Our entire team worked together to make things happened even after requesting our snacks get restocked. We were always greeted with smile and a warm welcome from the heart. The food was good. Our favorite were the lamb chops from the Sante restaurant and the Ribeye steak from Sal restaurant. They were well seasoned and tasty 🌝. We had a catered dinner for two on the beach. Enjoyed every moment. Big shout out to Javier from Santa restaurant who made sure I had my fix of mangoes in the mornings. My other waiters, Roberto, Jorge, Francisco, Jesus (Zesty) and Ignacio (he was new in this position, however made it happened. The spa was exceptional. Wendy and Veronica were very welcoming. They explained the process the best way they knew in English, and it was perfect. Wendy did very well with the deep tissue massage and Veronica did worked on my husband knots in his shoulders. Both ladies were great. Husband celebrated his 54th birthday and we knocked off three things from our bucket lists. 1. Parasailing 2. Jet Skiing 3. ATVs We had a oceanview junior suite was small to our liking but we made it work. Atmosphere was very warm and inviting. Not many people on the resort that because of reopening, children still in school or world climate. Location was good. We were not very far from the international hotel. We took a short drive in the taxi to shop for souvenirs. New fun area for children added. Oh, and there is new bridge which from what hear the locals are Super excited due shorter commute. - lamiller111 (10/5): Great trip - We recently spent a week at this resort. It is vastly improved over a trip we took early last year before the remodel. We are circle members and have been members of Melia for around 15 years. Our concierge, Rodolfo’s outstanding. Our Grandkids 5 and 7 loved the kids club and the water zone pool. Our favorite restaurants were Sal, Sante, cappellas and Kai. Many of the staff are new since the reopening and were getting up to speed but all were friendly and eager to assist us with any need. We will definitely be back soon.

We had the pleasure of staying at Paradisus Cancún in the second week of May for our anniversary. Our concierge Javier (Javo) was professional and friendly and took excellent care of us. He arranged dinner reservations, secured pool-side day beds and recommended activities daily. The service from all the staff was top notch. Our room at The Reserve exceeded our expectations and the view was perfect. We were sad to leave but will be back! Thank you!

- N5545DHmarkg (6/5): Average Resort - Nothing Special - My family and I stayed at the Paradisus for a family vacation. As soon as we arrived, we weren’t off to a great start. We requested two beds, but they insisted the only had a king size room available. Apparently they were doing this to a lot of guests when they arrived. After arguing for about 30 minutes, they accommodated us with a double bed room. As well as the other guests. I guess it’s common practice to argue with the guests when they arrive? I don’t see any other why they insisted they didn’t have any double bed rooms available when they clearly did. The pools were really nice, but some tiles were chipping off. Most disappointing about the resort was the food. It was average at best. The à la carte restaurants were not very good apart from the Blue Agave. One night we tried going to the Italian restaurant and were turned away saying they were overbooked, but the restaurant was about 70% empty. Not exaggerating. Also, you weren’t allowed to make reservations unless you were a member. Which meant the average guest would be stuck eating at the buffet every night. This is a terrible system in my opinion. Forces you to pay extra or settle for the bare minimum. The service overall was subpar. I believe they were understaffed for such a large resort. I know they just reopened in April but clearly they have not got down the routines yet as they were constant lineups everywhere. Nothing was labelled at the food stands or bathrooms. Looking for a bathroom is basically an Easter egg hunt, including which room is male or female. The resort itself was not air-conditioned, despite being enclosed, the elevators are basically small sweat boxes. To top off the resort, one of my family members found cockroaches in the shower on the last day. The resort did have a beautiful piano bar room and the bartenders were very nice as well. The resort needs to be better managed and better staffed and it could be a true 5 star resort. As it is right now, it is maybe 3.5–4 stars at best. I’ve been to about 7 different resorts in Cancun and the Paradisus ranks among the bottom 2. We will not be returning, but hopefully they can get their act together in the future.
- AaronMo22 (10/5): The Reserve at Paradisus was perfect for couples wanting a quiet retreat! - We had an incredible stay at Paradisus Cancun and would return in a heartbeat. The resort’s unique design and architecture immediately stood out, and the recent renovations are beautifully done—modern, classy, and thoughtfully integrated while still honoring the original style. While there are a few spots that show the resort’s age, the updates more than make up for it. We stayed in The Reserve, which was incredibly relaxing. It felt like a true retreat within the resort, and we had no trouble getting private cabanas, which made our time by the pool even more enjoyable. The common areas throughout the property are stunning, with gorgeous views everywhere you look. Service was exceptional across the board. Javier, our concierge, was outstanding and made sure every need was met with ease and care. The food truly exceeded our expectations. We were especially blown away by Kao—the service and quality there were top-notch. Mario, our server, was attentive and made the entire experience memorable. Capella was another highlight, where Edgar provided fantastic service and the meal was excellent. Honestly, every restaurant we visited delivered great food and kind, attentive service. All around, this was a wonderful experience. Beautiful setting, great food, and even better people. Highly recommend.

- angeliag870 (8/5): Honest paradisus reopening review - We went on a family vacation for my Dad’s 70th birthday the 2nd week the hotel opened. This was our 3rd time staying at Paradisus Cancun so we definitely had expectations but knew there could be some hiccups as they re-opened. The first 2 days were rough starting with check-in and having to have our room switched. The front desk staff is new so they are working through a majority of the issues and it took quite a while to resolve. The 2nd day at the pools you have to get down and reserve your chairs and umbrellas and people were straight up coming and physically moving umbrellas and chairs to different spots and throwing our stuff off. Yes this is a guest issue, but pool staff should be monitoring this. Josmari was a manager that really listened to our concerns and helped resolve the issues by the pool. By day 3 things SIGNIFICANTLY improved and our last 4 days were lovely. They were on a better trajectory and I think things will get back to the Paradisus we love in the next few months. My brother did the family concierge and his concierge Alex was absolutely fantastic going above and beyond making sure my dad‘s birthday was celebrated. We loved our food at KAO, SAL steakhouse and Capella’s. Plus the coffee and gelato shop is amazing. One knock I will say is that they have scaled back the amount of food options for children for example, the Asian restaurant no longer has teriyaki chicken bowls, so kids are pretty much eating burgers, chicken nuggets, pizza every day and not a ton of allergy, friendly options for egg allergies The staff who have been there for years and a couple newbies is truly what made it so wonderful in the end. Shout out to Baltazar and Vianney by the main and kid’s pools - stick with them and they will treat you great. Alejandro (Alex) and Perla in the coffee shop make THE best iced lattes. We have been with Alex for three years and he is just the absolute best. Every morning we’d look for Armando, Pascual, Jerry and Manuel in the Gastro and they always took care of us. Emmanuel at Sal and Anabel and Fanny at Zesty were so sweet. All in all, they are still working out in their kinks, but it is getting better each day and I think it will go back to what we’ve known and loved very soon.

- Anastasiia (8/5): - Great location, nice modern rooms, and concierge Eduardo Mena was outstanding -he went above and beyond, often resolving issues before they even arose. We stayed at the hotel both before and right after the renovation. Unfortunately, aside from the room updates, nothing else seems to have changed. The buffet had very limited food options, and there were extremely long lines -we even had to wait for something as simple as boiled eggs. During lunch, staff were painting areas nearby, and the smell of paint spread throughout the entire buffet, which was quite unpleasant. Room service was inconsistent -after calling, it took about three hours for them to show up. By that time it was already late at night, and we had put up the “Do Not Disturb” sign, which was ignored. Housekeeping was below expectations. We had to document issues with photos, including hair in cups, dirty tissues with debris, and cigarette packaging, and send them to the concierge. Waiting times are a serious issue at this hotel -waiting an hour for a burger by the pool seems to be considered normal. In general, waiting is part of the experience here. The gym is outdated -while it has basic equipment, everything is quite worn out and could definitely use an upgrade

The service is inexistant, it takes 20 minutes to have a drink at the pool bar, you have to wait at least 45 minutes to have a reservation at the restaurant and when you are there they make you wait 30 minutes.. The staff is rude and not accommodating. The staff really don’t care about their guess. And the hotel is missing employees. We’ve tried to talk with someone at the hotel and they don’t even reach out to us I will definitely not recommend this hotel

The rooms are nice but as a whole this hotel is not ready to be open yet. Buffet just not open sometimes, no signs or advance notice. There's a beach shack for burgers fries etc not open yet, rusty nails and plastic construction materials strewn about at the bottom of the stairs to the beach. They selectively delete comments on Instagram so there's a reason you only see complimentary comments. It's a nice place for sure but lots of work still to be done here.
- MSNC2014 (2/5): Either the most exclusive hotel in the world — or something quite different - Paradisus Cancun appears to have allegedly reopened after renovation on April 1, and from the beach it actually looked quite nice. We had stayed there many years ago, were intrigued to see the refreshed property, and were even considering moving over from our current hotel. That turned out to be impossible — and not in the chic, velvet-rope, ultra-luxury sense. We first walked up from the beach side, simply hoping to have a quick look and speak to the front desk. Instead, we were curtly told to leave. No problem, we thought — perhaps just an awkward misunderstanding. So we tried calling the hotel multiple times. We asked their hotel operator to connect us to the front desk, and each time the call was dropped. Four times in a row. Still assuming this must be some opening-week chaos, we later drove over in person to speak to the front desk directly. Security called up, disappeared for a while, then came back to inform us that we were not allowed to enter and should call reservations. So we did. Central reservations genuinely tried to help and, to their credit, were clearly embarrassed once we explained what had happened. But they could not help either, seemed almost at a loss for words, and were unable to provide even an alternative direct number or email address for the hotel. So: is this simply an astonishing customer-service breakdown? Or is Paradisus Cancun aiming to become the most exclusive hotel in the world — not because everyone wants to get in, but because apparently no one can? By the end, we were left wondering whether it was a hotel or a very elegant cover for some more mysterious operation. If so, mission accomplished.

Day one - sorry you can’t sit on those sun loungers unless you hire a cabana. Plenty of loungers but speakers and music everywhere. Music very loud especially when the entertainment is around the pool. Not for those who like a quiet break. Although there are plenty of middle aged people who think they are still 20. They have a quiet area but it is only for use of Residence Members - and All Inclusive are not members… Restaurants are very good. Steakhouse was another £250 for dinner. Lemon Fish - Peruvian cuisine was better and included. Rooms and service exceptional. Beds large and comfy. Tour selections are ok They have a desk and rep in Adults section but prices can be higher than the same on line. They will offer discounts including US$100 to listen to the Melia Circle sales pitch.. There is another desk with a greater selection of tours in the Family area.
- khughlee (10/5): Greqt food and great holiday!! - This resort is perfect for families. Too bad it was closed for renovation this year. There is a huge pool in which at the end there is a kid's pool. While swimming to the kid's pool, there is icecream and pizza! There are also jacuzzis on the way. Walk down the pool, and there is a beautiful turquoise ocean with no rocks and no seeweed. The ac and fridge didn't work in the two rooms that we were moved to, but I understand the renovation will fix that. Cielo restaurant is amazing! The food there was the best in any resort I been to. Hopefully, this resort will open soon!
- 779ariellec (10/5): Amazing Staff - We have been going to Paradisus since 2017 around 1-2x a year (with a few exceptions, including during the pandemic). I have reviewed the hotel before in terms of the room, amenities, etc., but will skip that part-- the hotel will be closing for an approximately year-long renovation and it would be better to review once again after the facilities have gotten a refresh. What I would really like to review is the primary reason we continue to go back year after year, which is the staff, most especially the staff across the many restaurants on the premises. I have traveled to many places around the world, including numerous all-inclusive resorts throughout the Caribbean. Experiences have varied but never have my family and I felt quite as genuinely welcomed and cared for as we have at Paradisus-Cancun. These they represent the hotel with the utmost professionalism and customer service. They have become such friends that we keep in touch with them on WhatsApp to share life updates, holiday greetings, and simple check-ins to say “hello”. The hospitality we have felt from these individuals goes way beyond it being their job. They not only remember our tastes, preferences, restrictions, but go so far as to help us when sick (having soups and other food brought to our room), make special meals and desserts to accommodate us or just to celebrate our being there, and even bring us gifts and tokens of friendship, which means the world, particularly when done for our young daughter. By doing this and much more, time and again they have shown us that we are not just hotel guests or customers, but family. It is why we return there instead of experimenting elsewhere whenever we want a relaxing vacation away from stress. My husband and I started going there when we were just dating, and since then they have seen us go from dating, to married, to expecting (they took very good care of me while pregnant) to having seen our daughter grow from one visit to the next. During one of our visits, we brought our friends with us (two families with their children) and they felt similarly comfortable with, and well-treated by, our Paradisus friends. The following list of names is not exclusive by any means, but it includes the names of the people who have had the most impact on us and with whom we have developed genuine bonds that go beyond the confines of the hotel and our stays therein. They take pride in their work and, above all, take human connections seriously. Thank you to them and all of the wonderful people who have taken such great care of us throughout the years and who have made Paradisus feel like home. We are excited to see the improvements with the facilities, activities, etc., after the renovations, and we look forward to returning, with the sincerest pleas and hopes that the individuals mentioned above be retained-- their presence is what really makes Paradisus, and no number of upgrades or luxury additions will make up for their absence. They are Paradisus-Cancun and their absence would be a terrible loss for the hotel.
- vdhlakovic (10/5): True paradise. - Amazing hotel, luxurious rooms, delicious food, reach self-service breakfast, but most of all friendly, helpful, always smiley staff, from concierge, bell boy, cleaner, gardener, entertainer, bartenders- everyone there was always super friendly and customer oriented to fulfill every need. It was exceptional. The hotel is cleverly intertwined with a jungle vibe with wooden pathways leading either to another part of the hotel or to the beach. There is Adult only section for everyone to be able to relax, chill etc, while family friendly part offers a variety things to do of you have children. Top attraction is aqua Park.
- dward0115 (4/5): Disappointed with kids club experience - I am currently staying at Paradisus, and while the resort itself is absolutely beautiful, my experience with the Kids Club has been very disappointing. I was informed to bring my 8-year-old daughter 10–15 minutes before check-in time if the children would be leaving for another activity or location on the resort. We arrived early, around 5:50 PM (check-in was at 6:00 PM), but I was told that she could not enter because they were only accepting children participating in the show. Her cousins, who were right in front of us, were allowed in, but my daughter was turned away. She was heartbroken and spent the evening in our room crying, not understanding why she couldn’t return to a place she had enjoyed earlier that day. She had been there all day and only needed to leave because the staff were taking their scheduled break from 5:00 to 6:00 PM. When I asked when she could return, I was told 9:30 PM — which caused me to miss my 9:00 PM dinner reservation. There also appears to be inconsistency in the check-in process. When I registered my daughter, I was not asked to present her passport, yet another family member was told her child could not attend without showing one. Additionally, the Kids Club is only available for children up to age 10, leaving limited activities for older kids, which can be challenging for families traveling with children of different ages. Overall, while the resort grounds, rooms, and amenities are stunning, the lack of organization and consistency within the Kids Club was disappointing. For a family-friendly resort, I expected a smoother and more accommodating experience for children. Unfortunately, based on this, I would hesitate to return or recommend Paradisus to other families.

There is a musician that comes from 8-9 and that is it. 6- No shower to wash your feet from the sand 7- No volleyball Boulders on some parts of the beach that hit you as soon as you walk in. 8- Songs playing at 5-6 in the morning. Don’t know where it’s coming from. 9- Can’t use the facilities after 6pm although our bus pickup is at 8pm.

- photogirl81 (10/5): First all inclusive - I understand they're closing for remodeling, so I'm not sure how accurate this review will be soon but I wanted to say that even before the remodel we had a wonderful experience. We booked in the reserve and I'm so glad we did. We were swept up when we got there. Offered drinks and popsicles and escorted to the reserve area. Jose met with us shortly after checking in to talk with us about what we were looking for and booked all of our dinners for the whole trip. We spent a lot of time at the reserve pool, where we were well taken care of. The time of year we were there I guess was a slow time because there were no lines or waits for anything. Not a lot of nightlife. Things wrapped up pretty early, but there were some shows and games and crafts to keep up busy if we were inclined. There are a couple of tables set up in the main area to help book excursions too so you don't have to plan any of that ahead of time or leave. Anything we did set up was just at Aquaworld just across the street. Many things I read people complaining about turned out to be very nitpicky and didn't have any negative effect on our experience.

- Arlington (8/5): - Really enjoyed the property. Great food, staff, and location. Only thing I will say is check your room and make sure nothing is broken when you first check in. Report it immediately if so. I got charged $160 usd for the closest door that was already broken. We didn’t even use the closest during our stay. So we didn’t know to report anything. We opened the door to enter the room & it bumped the closest causing it to fall over and the shutters went everywhere. They “replaced”the door but didn’t even put it back on the tracks. So we just had to tilt it at a slant to make sure it didn’t fall again. The property was closing for renovations towards the end of our stay for 2 years. So I’m assuming they were trying to just get as much extra money as they could before closing.

She brought such a calm, kind, and sweet energy to the entire process, making us feel supported every step of the way. Our wedding was everything we dreamed of and more — and so much of that is because of Abigail’s dedication and heart. She truly has a gift for this, and we genuinely believe she should be leading all weddings at the resort. She has a way of making you feel special, like your wedding is the only one that matters. We can’t wait to come back and visit once the renovations are complete — hopefully for our anniversary — just to see Abigail again and thank her in person for making one of the most important days of our lives so memorable. - rozmaris2025 (10/5): 5-Star Service Thanks to Eddier and David! - I stayed at this hotel in April with my family—10 of us in total—and we chose the main building so I could be close to the restaurants due to my knee issues. I also have several dietary restrictions (gluten-free, dairy-free, and acid reflux), which can make traveling challenging. The first day was not easy as I struggled to find food I could safely eat. Thankfully, Eddier took the time to meet with me personally, and thanks to his care and attention, I was able to enjoy my meals without getting sick. David, the chef, went on above and beyond for the entire 8 days of our stay. He prepared special meals for my husband and me, delivered them to our table whenever he could, and explained each dish and its ingredients with care. While the resort could use a lot of upgrading—especially the guest rooms, hallways, and beach chairs—the staff’s friendliness and dedication truly made our trip memorable. Because of the special care from Eddier and David, I was able to relax, enjoy my vacation, and spend quality time with my family. The food was absolutely delicious, and I’m incredibly grateful. Five stars for the exceptional service!

This has been one of the best vacations we have had at the Paradisus Cancun and highly recommend them!! We were celebrating my Birthday and Mother’s Day and wow, it was such a marvelous experience! Over the years we have developed relationships with the team. They are more like family to us and it is the main reason why we keep coming back year after year. We have been to other hotels in Cancun over the years, but there is no comparison with regards to the team! - JenniferKollias (10/5): Amazing Club Meliá Experience with Rodolfo - Everything about Paradisus Cancun was wonderful! The pool was incredibly large, the ocean was crystal clear and a beautiful shade of blue, the Bali beds were clean and comfy and the chaise loungers were plentiful. The servers came to the pool to take drink and snack orders starting at 10am. We lived on Pina Coladas, Mango Daiquiris, Sweet Tea, Nachos and Guacamole everyday. Restaurants were delicious but the buffet was our go-to. Lots of choices, no reservations needed and service was fantastic. Rooms were large and the Oceanview balcony was gigantic. My mother-in-law had timeshare so we were members of CLUB MELIÁ during our one week stay and was appointed a private concierge named “RODOLFO”. He was simply the best and made our vacation so easy and relaxed. RODOLFO texted us every morning when he arrived at the resort and asked if we needed anything. He made all our dinner reservations and he booked us 2 Bali Beds for the week. RODOLFO made sure to walk by at least 2 times a day to make sure we were happy and all our needs were met. We also had the ability to text him 24/7 if we needed anything at all and RODOLFO always answered promptly and professionally. We had mentioned my daughter would be celebrating a birthday and turning 17 on our last day. We were pleasantly surprised when we returned to our room and discovered RODOLFO had decorated the place with balloons, banners, towel animals, rose petals, cake and champagne! He also made us dinner reservations at LemonFish so we could enjoy sushi on this special night. This was the sweetest and kindest gesture and RODOLFO made her 17th birthday in Cancun so wonderful! When we return to Paradisus Cancun after the renovations, we will definitely request RODOLFO to be our concierge again. He went over and above our expectations and was extremely good at his job! He was quite an asset to CLUB MELIÁ. We are looking forward to returning in a year when the resort reopens all fresh and new. Thank you RODOLFO and Club Meliá at Paradisus Cancun for a spectacular experience and unforgettable memories! SEE YOU SOON

- Bruce Frederick Palabrica (10/5): - Had a great time spending a week long vacation at Paradisus Cancun. The interior of the hotel and the food was better than we were anticipating. Staff was very kind, helpful, and attentive. Anabel at Flora was an exceptional waitress. The food was fresh, light, and delicious. Abraham and Carina from Ginger were excellent. The Tequila and Mezcal tasting were top notch and I learned a lot about the local drinks. Daniel the entertainment coordinator was great. He planned fun activities everyday and we really enjoyed his energy. Hotel was a bit dated (however they are going to renovate at the end of May for a year) and the pool looked like it needed to be filled up with more water.

- Brooke (10/5): - The Reserve was excellent- included 2 days of daybed reservations by the pool and concierge that booked all excursions and dinner reservations nightly. Food was better than other all inclusive resorts that I’ve stayed at in Cancun. However, some of the steaks at Sal’s weren’t edible (Top Sirloin). The shortrib was great. The nightly entertainment shows were 6/10. The last bar (Ginger) closes at 11pm which was fine for us as we went to bed around then. Overall would recommend for couples vacation.

Our true new favorite place to go. Rooms and hotel were super clean, amenities are superb, location is the best, close to everything and a great swimming beach.

- Brian Varela (2/5): - Do not stay at this property. The first day we got there we started by getting drink at the pool. The drinks tasted bad as if the water had something. We then went to dinner, the plates of food were in extremely small proportions, the food tasted bland and unseasoned. Later that night my stomach was upset by something I ate. The service was the only good thing. Once it turned night we went to our room where we found 2 cockroaches in our room. We immediately went to the front desk and asked for another room. Once given our new room we instantly checked everything and found a cockroach on the window curtains. We went to the front desk and asked for a complete refund which they did do, however, by then it was 12AM and no other place would let us book a room for the night as they asked to book it online but it was technically already the next day so we couldn’t book for that night. After some thinking, me and my wife decided we would uber to the airport and sleep the night there and head back home from how bad of an experience this place gave us. Thankfully our uber driver recommended a residence inn, and they had a room for the night. Don’t waste your money on this horrible place in dire need of renovations and pest control.
- alvarezrhm (8/5): Great spot but be cautious of food outside in pool area that they can bring you out. - The food outside will have your stomach upset and I mean UPSET. On Saturday morning(3:30AM). Fireworks,loud partying, and music started until almost 5:00AM keeping everyone up. There had been a wedding a little earlier so not sure if that was why but still very annoying.

- Verified traveler (6/5): Disappointed – Hotel to go under renovation - I stayed at Paradisus Cancún and was disappointed to learn during my stay that the hotel is closing soon for renovations—something I wish had been disclosed at booking. The wear and tear showed throughout the property. Our room's A/C underperformed, and we had a leak from the overhead HVAC system. Maintenance said the pan overflowed, this was right above our luggage. Thankfully, our hard-case bags were closed. I had to place towels and a bucket myself to manage the water. Service was inconsistent, likely due to being understaffed. There were clear communication gaps between departments, our cabana reservation made days in advance was not honored, and no one seemed aware of it. While the beachfront location is beautiful and some staff were friendly, the experience fell short of what you'd expect from a resort at this price point. Since the hotel is closing for renovations, this review may not hold long-term value, but I do believe Hotels.com should better inform guests about these situations ahead of booking. You’d expect a hotel with this brand name to take more pride in its current condition.
