• Broughton (8/5): This was a comfortable, clean and convenient medium price hotel, with good catering. - The location was quiet (perhaps surprisingly), with very little noise either from inside or outside the hotel, so that I slept well. The bed was comfortable, and all the linens and towels were excellent. Good that an iron and ironing board was provided. The restaurant was excellent. The room was relatively small, although I understand that this was constrained by the existing building. The lack of any kind of shelf in the bathroom to use for personal belongings was a nuisance. Lack of any kind of handholds in the shower was a difficulty for me personally (and actually potentially risky). I found it impossible to just have a bedside light on.

• CECILE (8/5): Solo trip à Londres, très bien ! À bientôt - Très bel hôtel, très bien situé dans le quartier de Bloomsbury. Proche de la gare St Pancras, de Russell Square et de nombreux commerces. Chambre double très confortable, bien équipée et excellent petit-dej ! Londres est une ville chère, le prix est en adéquation avec le coût de la vie mais reste élevé. Sinon, j’adore cet hôtel pour moi parfait en solo trip.

Friendly and efficient staff, good food. The light bites menu was really good. Nice to have decent coffee in our room. Location perfect for us as we were en route from King’s Cross to St Pancras. The bedroom was lovely but there was hardly anywhere to put things- only one very small bedside table. The tv was very complicated to get working and a bit of written information would make that easier.

Lack of storage space- needs at least a shelf or small moveable trolley in the bathroom to put personal toiletrees on. Room was also a bit pricey for what it was as it was small. Bottled water in the room wasn't sealed either, looked like it had been refilled a few times as it was a little chalky/dirty.

• Jodie (8/5): Lovely room and location. - The decor was beautiful and easy to find. Perfect location. Couldn’t hear anything and we were on forth floor on the front. Perfect sleep. I paid in full when I arrived and wanted a card put down. All because we had starling bank cards which can’t hold for some reason. They required £50 in case we damaged the room but get it back at check out. This needs to be stated on the booking.com. I felt a bit embarrassed like I wasn’t classy enough to stay there 🥺

• Amber (9/5): Very Comfortable & Great Location - The hotel's location is excellent, only a few minutes walk from Euston, Kings Cross and St Pancras stations. The staff were friendly and helpful. The room, while small, was very comfortable and quiet. Breakfast had several vegan options. The lighting in the room was not great. There were bedside lamps, reading lights and mood lighting (in the headboard and under a cabinet), but in order to use them the main lights had to be on. You couldn't just have the mood lights/reading lights/bedside lamps on. Speaking to reception at checkout, this isn't a fault and is apparently the intended design; very odd.

Hotel also has a restaurant of its own. Bed was great, great value for the area. Bathroom was small and was easily flooded when in the shower. Water pressure and shower were great but by end of shower water was everywhere. Did not make the experience of staying bad but towels would have to be changed daily due to clean up of the floor.

Het ontbijt was uitgebreid en vond plaats in een prettige, rustige ruimte. Het hotel is niet zo massaal en daardoor comfortabel. De badkamer was klein en de douchekop zat vast waardoor je hem niet in de hand kon nemen. Het putje zag er niet zo schoon uit. Het wasbakje in de badkamer was klein, wat ervoor zorgde dat je snel water morst.

Bar staff seemed very unhappy to be working aswell. There was aircon in the room but did not seem to work as room still very hot throughout stay.
• James (1/5): Poor and over priced. - The room was extremely small, with very limited storage space and only a couple of hangers provided. On Saturday evening, while we were having a drink, a mouse ran through the restaurant seating area and into the lounge. We informed staff, but they appeared unconcerned and took no meaningful action. The mouse was seen again a few minutes later coming from behind a sofa. There was no manager available when we tried to raise the issue. As a result, we did not eat in the restaurant and chose not to have breakfast there either. I later complained by email and was refunded £45. I would not stay here again.
• Dimitri (6/5): - Location in the middle of London; clean; friendly; breakfast is both UK and continental Small room, small bed. The "double-bed" was at most 1.40m (4'7") wide. After the upgrade for an additional 30 pounds a night, we got a decent room with a normal-sized bed. 300 pounds a night is way too expensive.

Well furnished and equipped room, which was very quiet and with a large comfortable bed. Delicious breakfast in an elegant dining area. Beautifully creative art on the walls throughout the hotel.

We stayed 3 nights and the fire alarm woke us up 2 mornings and possibly a third if we weren't up and away for a flight 2. The bar is supposed to close at 11pm which we knew and appeared at 10:50 for a night cap to take to the room but as no one was in the bar they had closed early. On a Saturday night in a London hotel to close early was kind of ridiculous 3.One side of the bed didn't have a bedside locker, it was obviously removed and not replaced

Breakfast good, lots of choice. Good location for National Museum. Would have preferred an alternative menu for the food in the restaurant, but that is just personal choice. Maybe if they offered a plainer traditional bar menu to cater for other tastes ?

• Ruth Toone (8/5): Lovely staff, good location and a very decent restaurant made this an easy and enjoyable stay. - The room was great with just enough space to sit and chat without having to sit on the bed! This was something we specifically wanted. The bed was very comfortable and the fact that the windows could be opened a decent amount was much appreciated. We would have used a fridge in the room, had there been one. The lift needs a re-vamp! It shows the wrong date and time and gets the floors mixed up.

• Syed (7/5): Convenient and comfortable - The location was perfect for me as I travelled into and out of Euston railway station. The hotel is close by. The room was on the larger size relative to other London Hotels. Staff were friendly and attentive. Although I did not dine at the hotel another resident commented on how good the food was. This is a general criticism of almost all hotels in London that are generally over-priced for what is on offer. This hotel is no different. It was not good value.
• Megan (6/5): Reasonable stay but would not seek it out - The bed was comfortable, the bathroom was clean and the water pressure was good. The breakfast was tasty and the coffee machine both in the room and for breakfast were good. Location is very good. The cleanliness of the room was below what I would have expected as unfortunately there was a lot of dust e.g. on the bedside tables. The room was quite noisy at night because it was next to the door to the stairwell which was not a soft close door. The bathroom had a musty damp smell. The layout of the shower meant that the floor of the bathroom flooded with water from my shower. The lift either malfunctions frequently or requires above average expertise to operate as frequently the doors seemed to have a mind of their own and guests appeared on floors they did not wish to visit. For some reason the lights are either all or nothing and there is no in between for some evening mood lighting before bed. There were two light switches on either side of the bed and one turned everything on and off and the other had no discernible function. I do not experience this price point as good value for money but that is probably largely the same wherever you go in London.

The hotel itself is very conveniently located being very close to king's cross and not too far from the covant garden area. Room wasn't very large though that seems to be the british standard. My main complaint is that the shower only had half a door which sprayed water all over the bathroom. Neither of these were big issues for the one night I stayed but I probably wouldn't book for longer than a night or two.

• Emily (10/5): Brilliant - would stay here again - Staff very helpful, we arrived late for an activity due to delayed trains and they had no problem quickly taking our bags of us and letting us rush off, every time we went to reception they were very helpful and friendly. Probably the best experience of hotel staff we've received so if you read this thank you we appreciate it :) No issues with our stay - if any downsides it would be the rooms being small but it can't be helped and doesn't ruin the experience, its more just a practical issue for getting ready and moving around but if you're not spending a lot of time in the room you'll be fine
