- Nataliya (10/5): - Hotel Papadopoli in Venice The hotel is located just a few steps from the train station and next to Piazzale Roma. If you arrive by car, parking is available nearby. The hotel has been renovated and offers a pleasant atmosphere. The staff is also very friendly. The room is very nice and has everything you need. I would gladly come back again.

- Yuliya Shuvalova (9/5): Уютный отель у вокзала с атмосферой Венеции - В день заселения у мамы был день рождения, мы упомянули об этом на ресепшене — и это не осталось без внимания. Когда вернулись с прогулки, в номере нас уже ждала бутылка шампанского. У отеля красивый, атмосферный дизайн. В лобби много интересных деталей: статуи, картины, необычные инсталляции с перьями, витрины с украшениями и изделиями из муранского стекла — всё это создаёт ощущение, что ты уже в самой Венеции, даже не выходя из отеля. Расположение очень удобное: близко к железнодорожному вокзалу и автовокзалу — можно спокойно дойти пешком с чемоданами. Прямо перед отелем остановка водного такси, рядом много магазинчиков и всего необходимого. Номер был комфортного размера для троих взрослых, чистый, аккуратный. Воду пополняли каждый день. Большая и тоже очень чистая ванная комната. Классные тапочки - не обычные белые одноразовые, которые выбрасываются после использования и загрязняют природу, а красивые тапочки, которые можно забрать домой для многократного использования. Очень понравилась итальянская традиция подготовки номера ко сну: каждый вечер, когда мы возвращались, на кроватях нас ждали вкусные конфетки — мелочь, но создаёт особое настроение. У отеля есть красивый внутренний сад. Можно спокойно прогуляться, послушать шум деревьев, который переплетается с криками чаек и бакланов, пролетающих и проплывающих по каналу рядом — очень атмосферно. Забавная и милая деталь: во время уборки у двери ставят маленькую игрушечную собачку — знак, что номер убирается. Плюс на всех дверях висели красивые пушистые венки — мы были в рождественский период, и это добавляло уюта. Завтрак хороший: достаточно разнообразный, много фруктов, овощей, есть веганские закуски и бутерброды. Особенно понравилась панна котта. Также есть печенье и кексики в индивидуальных упаковках - удобно брать с собой. Проходит всё это в очень красивом зале с видом на сад — приятно начинать день. В номере не было нормального стола для работы — только небольшая полочка под телевизором, что не очень удобно, если нужно посидеть с ноутбуком. На завтраке, с учётом уровня отеля, немного не хватило более «премиальных» позиций — например, красной рыбы и шампанского, которые часто встречались в других отелях такого же уровня.

- vwakesahi (2/5): terrible experience, please avoid - We booked this hotel for our Venice trip in March 2026 but unfortunately due to the war in middle east, we had to cancel our plan. Their behaviour over the email thread to process our refund even when we were eligible for full refund was terrible. First, they outrightly told us they won't give refund. In normal time it would have been ok. But we didn't cancel our plan, our flight were not operational due to the war. Then when I told them that we're eligible for refund according to our booking policy they emailed me back that they're looking into the situation and then again disappeared. I had to constantly chase them. It was so disappointing the way they behaved in such a situation. I cannot imagine staying at a hotel where the staff has no empathy for the guests.

One of the main reasons we chose this hotel was its proximity to the bus station, as we had an early flight on our departure day, and it worked perfectly for that. There is a nice bar area where you can sit and relax while overlooking the Ponte dei Tolentini bridge and the canal, which was a great spot to unwind. Breakfast was excellent, and the breakfast room backs onto the Giardini Papadopoli landscaped gardens, making for a very pleasant start to the day. We travelled in January, but I imagine that in the summer months the large doors would be opened onto the patio and gardens, which would be a beautiful setting to enjoy breakfast.

The hotel is beautifully maintained, and the staff were consistently friendly, welcoming, and attentive. The location is fantastic—just minutes from the train station and perfectly positioned for exploring Venice, which is such a wonderfully walkable city. As Accor Platinum members, we were delighted to receive a generous upgrade to a beautifully decorated room featuring a charming balcony. It was a lovely space to relax and soak in the atmosphere of the city. The breakfast buffet was excellent, offering a wide variety of high‑quality options, and the housekeeping team was impeccable, providing thoughtful turn‑down service each evening. All in all, this was a true 5‑star experience from start to finish. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and were genuinely sad to leave. Highly recommended.

- Kerem (8/5): A centrally located luxury hotel with notable shortcomings - The location is great and the lobby and restaurant are beautifully and lavishly designed and the welcome is very enaging. You really do feel a sense of luxury and abundance. The room had very confortable beds and good bedding. I booked a deluxe room with a view, and the view was indeed beautiful. The room itself, however, was quite small and, more importantly, had a persistent and unpleasant smell that did not disappear even after several hours of airing. The bathroom also lacked sufficient heating, making it uncomfortable to use in the morning. I was shown alternative rooms that did not have the smell, but these had no view. Overall, this made for a disappointing experience. Were it not for the odor, I might have considered staying again. However, given that this is a relatively modern building rather than an old palazzo, a problem of this kind should not occur.

An excellent hotel. The dinner menu was a bit restrictive for my tastes. I eat elsewhere after the 1st night. Breakfast was good.
