• Laura (4/5): - Looks like it is an older property and need serious updating. There was a lot of mold around the roomsand broken furniture, especially around the pool and the beach. The kiddie pool had algae around the outside that looked like it hadnt been cleaned in a very long time. It is unfortunate, but the pictures of this hotel are very misleading. Also, they do not have enough space to seat everyone for dinner at the buffet which makes a huge line to eat dinner. It was wild. You definitely do not want to be waiting on line with three hungry children. The rooms were very small and the beds were full size. The weird thing was that they were very close together. I was really disappointed in this resort and ended up leaving after I saw a huge Roach hanging out on the wall.

I hated going to the bar only one server at all times, to get a beer it took over 15 minutes. The best experience was in the restaurant Cocoa grilled and seafood, we had dinner there every night Rodolfo was our waiter every night amassing service he deserves a raise. Food was excellent as well.

If someone is smiling at you or being nice or helping is because they want to sell something at you. Too many sells force people very little service staff.

We went with our kids, and it was a wonderful beach for them to explore, swim and have fun. The only thing I did not like was the fact that the bedroom did not have a balcony.

• Joree (4/5): - I would not recommend this hotel. The rooms were outdated and dirty and small! The restaurants and food available were not good! We paid to upgrade to the hotel next-door in order to be able to use their restaurants and pool. That was a little better, but not by much. At the upgraded hotel, there were no chairs around the pool to sit on. The only chairs available were at the beach. So while my kids were swimming in the pool, I had nowhere to sit. There was only one bartender at each bar, so you would stand in line for a good 15 minutes to get a drink. The drinks had a chemical taste to them. Most of the restaurants were the same way. At the sushi restaurant, there was only one person working. So I stood in line one day for 45 minutes to get sushi by the pool. The little kitchen areas around the pool with food, were terrible! The hamburgers were definitely not hamburgers! No outdoor bar to sit at. The pool is also closed every night at 8 PM, which is pretty early when your kids want to stay swimming. Entertainment didn’t start until after 10 PM. So as your kids are trying to sleep, the very loud music goes until midnight. I definitely would not recommend going here. But you get what you pay for. I learned my lesson. I will definitely pay more money to stay at a nicer resort.
• Ana (6/5): - Check-in line was extremely long it took almost two hours at the time check-in time opened. The welcoming guest personnel instead welcoming you they immediately wanted to sell you packages and didn't care about your real needs they just wanted to sell. We told the housekeeping we needed more towels and come to clean our room and they never showed up. The next day, housekeeping said they have a hotel policy of not cleaning everyday and they didn't bother in notify us when we asked for the service. Since lots of people used the big pool then it became dirty very fast, not sure every when they clean it but next day you can still see a black sheet of oil and remaining of sun protector products on the surface of pool water.

The food was decent , if you book the oasis palm you only have a few A la carte restaurants to choose from, the rest you have to pay for just fyi.They had shows and activities most of the days. The beach area is decent. There’s always a wait in line whether it’s to check in or buffet, even when waiting for the elevator. The check in process was very frustrating, had a super early flight + a long wait at the airport, then arrived at the resort around 2pm (check in was 3pm). They gave us our wristbands and were told to return to the check in lobby at 3:30 pm to receive our rooms and activate our wristbands but so did about 30-40 other guests. We were exhausted from the early flight didn’t get our rooms until 4:30-5pm. We had to return a few times to the lobby by stairs because wristbands were not activated correctly. Other than that issue everything was okay. There is staff that is by the elevator offering pirate ship boat rides for free but they are trying to sell timeshares. Overall the resort is okay. I give it a 3/5 Stars.

Didn’t like that they didn’t have a reservation under my name so I have to wait until a room is as available. The coffee maker in the room was broken and the personal care supplies was minimal. We were 3 people in the room and only want could use the shampoo, soap, etc… Also temperature in the room is locked. You can’t adjust it. Many option of restaurants but not all of them are open. It is really difficult to book one, we ended eating dinner outside the hotel in local restaurants. The hotel in general was good with a lot of activities to do.

We had to try three different rooms because they all had mold—so much so that after checking the third room, the front desk employee admitted they were all in the same condition. Common areas were left dirty overnight. They also had live music every night that went on late into the night. The resort is advertised as family-friendly, but it’s hard to get any sleep with young kids when loud music is playing so late. The buffet area was dirty, and the employees used questionable procedures to restock and keep the food fresh. This is definitely a property that saw better days a few decades ago. If all you care about is price, this might work for you—but if you want a clean, quiet, relaxing, and safe place, don’t bother. We ended up checking out four days early because we tried to speak with management about our concerns, and they simply didn’t care.
• Lissette (6/5): - You get what you pay for. We were here in 2016 and it was ok, so I thought we could give it another chance. Immediately as soon as I checked in, I got pulled to the side and pressured for a 90min breakfast to learn more about the hotels, I said no and she kept insisting, after 10mins of back and forth we kept saying no and she just let us go. Back in 2016 and now, this is the only hotel that I have been at that they try to pressure you to do things instead of letting you enjoy your vacation. Then, the towels and sheets were stained in our room and had to request for them to be changed. Two days laters more stained towels. The shower water was cold and was told to get the hot water running I need to turn the cold water all the way, slightly turn the hot water and then turn on the hot water from the sink. Had to do that everyday to get hot water in the shower. The good food was in The Agave, La Hacienda, and Cocoa. The waiters In these locations were very kind. Tony was the most genuine waiter. There is not enough seating near the pools, so if you plan on having a pool day wake up early and find your chairs. I will say that the beach was clear, no seaweed, no waves, very calm and beautiful. My kids really enjoyed being in the water. Also, the time I did need things, front desk helped and later called back to confirm that we did get the clean towels and if the water was fixed. All in all I won’t be coming here again.

Eating and sweating constantly makes the food unenjoyable. The food is sometimes good, but onthe last day I got sick to my stomach. I came home and still have severe diarrhea. I have traveled through several countries and a variety of resorts and have never written a bad review….this resort changed all that. Food preparation/serving was not safe. Black mold in the bathrooms. Cleaning….instead of replacing dirty towels, housekeeping just took them. Each day. 1 bottle of water is supposed to be provided/restocked…nope, just took everything….except the glass which was dirty and had used q-tips and cotton swab in it…that they left. Toilet didn’t work…they did fix that in a timely manner. Only 1 bartender for the entire beach area and pools. We got 1 night at a restaurant and that was it. Buffet for the rest of the time. We were outright ignored when getting service and disrespected. An attitude came even though we said please and thank you for everything. Doors were closed right in front of us as we walked up to them. I was so excited to visit Mexico as it was my first time and have heard great things from friends who have gone there and friends that live there. The experience at this hotel… Travelocity should seriously question their relationship with this vendor. The first comment out of client concierge’s mouth was “well, I hope next time you stay at the Sens side.” No welcome no hello. • V3174PFstacys (4/5): Not delighted - I would not recommend this hotel, had to wait for room, too few servers, long lines at the bars, pool was terrible, missing steps, husband fell getting out, also had to help several other people out. Food was fair. I realize it is a family resort, but children need to be kept out of pool with the bar.
• Sandra Ribeiro (2/5): - The photos on Expedia are misleading — many are from the neighboring Sens property, which is also owned by Oasis. When you arrive, you’re faced with limited dining options, long lines (sometimes over an hour just to eat), and some restaurants require reservations. Access to certain pools and restaurants is also restricted unless you pay for an upgrade. They blame Expedia for the confusion but still pressure you to upgrade. They also push timeshares aggressively, which is frustrating. The poolside bar on the Oasis side was filthy — definitely not a place you’d want to eat or drink from. I don’t recommend this resort or any Oasis property. They constantly try to charge extra for everything. I upgraded just to get decent food, but my room stayed the same. If you want a relaxing vacation, book somewhere else.

As we were told the Oasis bucks could get two 25min massages where as it only covered part of one. Likewise the tours said the Xal-ha was a 1 hr bus ride and it was actually 1.75hpura away and I found that misleading and annoying.

We were in the palm building which is right in between grand and Sens. since I booked through EXPEDIA they would not do a refund even when I was speaking to the manager and the Expedia assistance I was there for less than 4 hours at this time. Our room was like a crabby motel room. We stayed for 5 nights and only got the room cleaned once. I had to call twice to get towels. We were told that we couldn’t use the pool that was between our building and the Sens. It was the Sens “pool”. Same thing with the bar. Even though that was right next to our room and the closest to us. Why would you connect a restaurant to a resort building then say well you can’t use this one. The bar at the ocean was slow ALWAYS had a line. The works never asked if you needed anything, but they were too fast to pick up those plastic cups. I would barely finish, and they would come and collect. We went to try to use the slides at the kid’s club. We were told that it was being cleaned, and we would have to wait till 330pm we came back and then it changed to 4pm then they had a movie on so my kids couldn’t use the slide. The app is not good. We tried 4 nights for reservations. Was denied every time. Tried different restaurants and times still I would get a sorry nothing available. Even tried the CHAT they weren’t able to get us in. We had the buffet every breakfast and dinner. It was horrible. Same cold “hot” food. Nothing different and everything tasted the same. We actual left the resort to get food down the street twice. The rooms are clean the restroom by the restaurants and in the public area are gross filthy. The service overall was awful! The workers didn’t speak English or only a handful did. My spouse is Mexican, and we have been to 6 resorts in Cancun/Riviera Maya area, 1 Cozumel and 1 Cabos. I have NEVER left a bad review. It was JUST bad. Overall, booking on Tuesday and left Saturday. Didn’t have time to research or even get any to choose from. Now reading the reviews I see that it’s not me or the time IT’S THE RESORT!

• Samantha (4/5): - The reason I am ratings this property is due to a few reasons. First check in went smooth and the first impressions of the hotel were great. The restaurants did have weird hours and after check in almost nothing was open were the least of the issues. Because our room TV or phone did not work. The shower would not drain and when asked to be changed to a different room the manager said we could upgrade or check out tomorrow at 11 and check back into a different room at 3. It took over an hour to find a working room for us to stay in.

• 284krystals (2/5): 💩 - We went for my Birthday. I never write reviews but do not stay at this resort! We arrived Friday night. The staff acted as if we were a bother to them. I was in the shower and the water was not draining but that’s not the kicker. Literal feces came up from the drain! We packed all of our stuff and went to the front desk. They argued with us that we did it and they didn’t even say sorry!! They were nice enough to give us a downgraded room. Never again!
• Troy (6/5): - Very slow service at all the restaurants. Food was underwhelming. Majority of restaurants closed the majority of the time. Last bar closes at. 1 am, other things like arcade close much earlier. Adults only pool had no hot tubs, just Luke warm. No room service at all. Restaurants don't allow to go food. Elevators sooo slow, not enough for building.

• Rachel (2/5): - BEWARE. READ b4 looking at pics and booking. This oasis palm is attached to Sens which is not included in this hotel. Meaning that access to the 7 advertised is not included. So yes you will be sitting next to a hotel bar you can't use without the Sens bracelet. This is false advertising. All the nice restaurants you see in the pics and web cost extra. Download their app first and look. The 2 buffets included are without a doubt terrible. We spoke to many guests and not one found it acceptable. Disgusting. And I am not a foodie. I do not care about food nor get excited. But palatable food is required. One item of the entire stay was good. This place is a joke. Book oasis palm and you get the ghetto side of the hotel.

• 984cliffordb (2/5): Worst hotel food will kill someone and staff are thiefs - Only stay in this hotel if you want to die from food poisioning or have your valuables robbed by the cleaners. Never stay in this hotel worst hotel in cancun. Staff do not care. After my whole family got food poisioning and had sickness and diahrea for 4days they told me my family were lying we found 30 other people who had food poisioning from the hotel they also closed the restuarant where we became ill for 3days. Also the day before we was going home we had not had our room cleaned for 4 days so i asked at reception for it to be cleaned, they sent a cleaner and we left our room for it to be cleaned after returning to the room being cleaned we realised my rolex watch was missing. Staff were very unhelpful didnt really want to help just wanted us to shut up was scared of other guest hearing. Just dont stay here you would have a better holiday sleeping on the beach.
• shimam699 (2/5): Varning !! So bad , don’t book - We had a terrible experience at Oasis Palm and with the salespeople who sold us the dolphin and adventure package. They completely scammed us. The activities they promised were not available. They guaranteed us a private dolphin experience, but it turned out to be in a group. The salesperson totally lied to us, and we paid almost $500 for two adults and two children for an experience that did not match what was advertised. The hotel itself was extremely disappointing. The pools were dirty, the water slides in the kids’ area were closed, the food was terrible and almost the same every day, and the hygiene was poor. The entire hotel was dirty. The rooms were sandy, and despite asking them to change the sheets, they did not do so for three days. I had to ask multiple times before we finally got clean sheets. The minibar was not included and came at an extra cost. Everything was so bad that after five days, we decided to switch hotels by contacting our travel agency in Sweden. This was by far the worst hotel I have ever stayed at. If I could, I would give it one star – or even less.

• BRIAN (2/5): - Property was more run down then what it shows online. There's also no reason on pricing on upgrades. Bunch of people got free upgrades, some paid half for double the amount of stay....etc. certain staff are good and others were had poor hospitality

• Bhrooz Muhammad (10/5): - Amazing place for family we are a familof 5 with 3 kids they just love it and enjoyed alot and the food options amazing and so delicious Mexico for sure im coming back staff amazing you know what everything is just excellent for the family keep it up i made alot of friends Roony amazing guy Enrique best Raul the best and help me with my situation he knows what I mean LOL and Mr Aldo too amazing keep it up guys my first trip in Mexico for the first time was just amazing.
• RAJASHRI (4/5): - No activity and shows for family. Checkin was so slow and staff was not cooperative
• Izabela (8/5): - The property is ocean facing with no waves, making it easily swimable. The ocean water was warmer than the pools, we were always able to find couple of chairs to use. The pools are covered by large trees for the most part. Nice playground for the kids on the beach, great drinks and food. Some food options are looking questionable but visiting different countries will always involve something exotic, you can have it or not. Room was what we expected, comfy beds and clean. Oasis palm bracelet will only get you to one buffet restaurant and one al carte option which was pretty disappointing. The pictures with blue slides and mushroom shower are taken at the kids club not open just to anyone which was deceiving. There was no drinking water restocked in the mini fridge, why even bother with one if a hotel cannot provide a basic necessity. No night club on the resort was very disappointing. Two bars open at night with one ocean facing so you get to hear people having fun until at least 3am. Noisy AC and not sealed windows creating whisling noise. Staff was outstanding, always willing to help, approachable and friendly. Little resort, not terrible for the price but not something I would recommend to a friend. Most likely won't go back.

• Ovi (6/5): - Overall, this is one of the cheapest resorts, and it has almost everything. If you set your expectation according to the price, this is good resort. The service was good. Cleanliness was okay. I had issue with WiFi connection, they did not help me 1st and second try, they asked me to call customer service, and the customer service told me to go to desh, no one were trying to help, as I insisted that this needs to be address, finally one person from the desh helped me and reconnect my wifi. This is should not be that difficult.
