On the last day I called for help with luggage but they didn’t show up. We wanted to get a taxi so we talked to the front desk and they said to go up front. At the airport the driver said the hotel charges a fee and we were charged double the amount of what we paid when we used a limo to get to the hotel from the airport. We did not hear about it when we asked at the front desk. Maybe tell us when we asked before we used the taxi?
- Maurizio (10/5): Beautiful views at the heart of JBR - We booked a one bedroom apartment with a sofa bed. The spaces were big, all was new and clean. We were told at check in that it might have been noisy, as it was on lower floors and at night there was going to be music. Indeed it was. We would have liked to know it in advance, but at the end we had not trouble sleeping

- michael (8/5): - reception were absent on many occassions or took ages to answer phone. bedrooms not kitted out well. no tvs. only phone in sitting room to contact reception. All rooms only two king beds. cannot split...no roll out beds ever available . very unusual for 5 star. traffic jbr constantly busy...long wait times going anywhere.

I called the reception (they take forever to answer) and they sent over cleaners who didn’t really do much. This hotel charges a fee for room cleaning which is ridiculous and we had to call several people to adjust the hot water settings. The view and hotel room was spacious and the area is highly coveted. Will not be staying here again.

Kokemus oli erinomainen: huoneisto oli todella tilava ja hyvin varustettu, jokaisella majoittujalla oli oma huone ja wc. Huoneisto oli erittäin siisti, emmekä huomanneet mitään puutteita. Sonder toimii Rixon -hotellin yhteydessä, joten palvelut olivat yhteiset. Allasalue, ravintolat - kaikki huippuluokkaa ja hyvin toimivat. Erityisesti haluan kiittää palvelua. Tunsimme itsemme joka päivä tervetulleiksi ja pienimmätkin toiveet huomioitiin jo ennenkuin edes ehdimme niistä kertoa. Mahtava kokemus!

- Anita (2/5): Terribly disappointing for a 5 star hotel - The room and facilities were fantastic. However many small problems meant the overall quality of our stay was poor. Cups and plates were too high to reach (even for a normal height person), no UHT milk provided for coffee, the floor boards were very squeaky (even though new), the pool staff harassed us about tips - we tried to pay via card but they would not accept, then would not take our next drink order because no tip was paid, and we were left sweating in the garage waiting for a baggage trolley for far too long. Finally, our room was directly above 'Lock Stock' (awesome restaurant/bar) but music was loud in our room until well past midnight.
- Verified traveler (10/5): - Honestly Sonders/Rixos Dubai Marina was better than I expected for the price. Place is luxurious and super clean. View of pool and beach is breathtaking in the trendiest area of Dubai. All the staff (front desk to valet to housekeeping) was very friendly and helpful. They even gave me a complimentary 5pm checkout. Definitely recommending Sonders!
- Verified traveler (8/5): - The views of the room in which we stayed was amazing! The hotel IS connected to the Rixos and amenities are shared. There is a nightlife (bar/lounge) that you may need to take into consideration. The room itself was nice, modern, and stocked with basic needs for cooking and dining in room. Some items need attention, ie: lights in master and a bathroom did not turn on, floors were a bit dirty and needed attention, as with minor other items. . Front desk is onsite and they were very helpful and accommodating. Overall, great location, room as described, and would stay again
- Verified traveler (8/5): - The suite was beautiful! Large rooms with three bathrooms, full kitchen etc. Did not have room service which is okay. The only problem was that the water in the shower was always hot. The water tanks got heated up in the 105F weather outside. However, this is a known problem in Dubai and good hotels have infrastructure to cool the water. This wasn't available at Sonder.

- Syed (10/5): Amazing New Hotel - Brand new hotel in the highly regarded JBR area. Reception was very quick to address any concerns we had. They cleaned our room every day although their site says otherwise. Great access to the heated resort pool at Rixos and walking distance to many great restaurants. Apartment was huge, almost too big with brand new amenities and a great view of the Palm islands

- Abdulrahman (10/5): - The Suites are very large and have wonderful views of the Arabian Gulf and the Dubai Palm Island from upper floors. Very near to restaurants, shopping, and entertainment for all ages, on the beach and off the beach. Staff was very nice. Main problem was in not providing slippers, ropes, and only provided free water bottles on the first day.

- Verified traveler (8/5): - Amazing spacious apartments in central location. The hotel is brand new and apartments finishing touches are still being addressed. But what makes the experience great is the amazing team of staff working there. The front desk were extremely accommodating and especially the main manager Bola who works extremely hard (always seem to be working) to make guest stay at hotel as seamless and Comfortable as possible. Despite my short stay compared to various request I had, Bola always seemed keen to address any of the issues ASAP to make sure may stay was of highest quality. I would highly recommend the place especially with family or for longer stays given the size of apartments and location

- Verified traveler (10/5): - I had a wonderful stay at sonder JBR. My apartment was comfortable, modern, spacious and extremely well decorated! The facility was great as I had access to a private beach and the location was central and walkable. The staff were very friendly and attentive to all my needs. I loved the fact that the apartment was serviced daily! The only inconvenience was the lack of signage on the floors but was informed they were setting them up in the coming weeks. I would definitely stay there again for short and long term stays.
