- Lori (6/5): - We stayed here 6 days. The positives: property is clean & great location. All rooms face the ocean. Beach is beautiful, pools are clean, plenty of loungers, pool towels. Mixed drinks were fantastic! Staff is friendly…especially the ladies at the tour-desk! Sunsets were amazing! Negatives: the property is old. And not ‘vintage’ old, just…outdated. The toilet plumbing resort-wide is questionable. (We were told by multiple people that the tap water is filtered, we drank it with zero issues). The rooms are TINY. We are average build and had to turn sideways to walk between the bed and dresser. I have no idea how more than 2 people could fit in one room. These are ‘no frills’ rooms. Mattress is ok, and they don’t clean rooms during ur stay. You have to ask for fresh towels. Food was decent..the first 2 days. Then it’s just repetitive. They rotated 2 restaurants for dinner, so you had to ask daily where to eat. It didn’t matter because you will be choosing from the same variety every meal, everyday. Limited lunch items. We ate burgers & chicken by the pool most days. Several areas weren’t open on site & the gift shop was rarely open during posted hours. All eating is outside or open-air dining. They need ceiling fans! I should add: there was nightly entertainment. Singing, music etc. our absolute favorite was the steel drum band! It was awesome! Transportation was available onsite, for extra fee, but made it very convenient! Overall it was quiet & relaxing! Solid 3 stars.

Staff was very pleasant and accommodating, but the resort is very dated and the check in process fair. The food options at the buffet for dinner and lunch were limited, but I’m guessing that’s because it was low season. Still feel it could have been better. The large pool is very nice and has a shaded area near the swim up bar.

- BEATRIZ A (4/5): - The location is perfect!No complaints about the beautiful beach, bar, or the food at the outdoor restaurantThere is only one option for dinner and that is the buffet.They try to have different food every night but overall the food was just ok.Breakfast/lunch were pretty much the same every day.They do not have enough staffing and therefor you dont get housekeeping unless you pay for the upgraded room and even with that we only got our room cleaned twice during an 8 day stay.We were not happy about the room and when asked about an upgrade they said they could not do it and needed permission from a higher supervisor that was only there during the morning.We paid for an ocean view with a king size be and they said they did not have any king size beds on any other floor other than the bottom level.Our view was not the best even though we paid for it.There were not that many people at the resort and therefor should've been able to accommodate a free upgrade to the next level room and to the third floor but they wouldn't do it. We were extremely disapointed by that.We got to the resort after a long day of travel and they did not have any water dispenser or water bottles to offer.They had some welcoming drinks off to the side sitting in the hot sun but that was not even offered to us or any of the other 10-15 guests who were ahead of us also checking in.They only had 1 person working the front desk.There was an empty fridge in the room, not what you expect from all inclusive resort

- Robin (10/5): - We really enjoyed our stay. Since it was the off season and the weather was iffy, we weren't sure what to expect. Although they were doing maintenance because of the time of year, I'm happy to say that the property exceeded our expectations. The food was quite good, the rooms were clean and comfortable, the facilities themselves were in good shape overall, and because it was off season, it was easy to hang out in a variety of places without being crowded. We had a few torrential downpours with thunder & lightning and the seating under the covered areas was a bit limited, but the staff worked hard to make sure everyone was comfortable wherever they decided to hang out. It was a great stay and we wouldn't hesitate to go back, especially in the off season.

- Juan Senor (2/5): - Avoid at all costs. Jolly Beach Hotel is a disaster. The place looks like it hasn’t been touched since the 70s, everything is old, tatty, and literally falling apart. Rooms smell damp, paint is peeling, furniture is broken, and the whole place feels neglected. The so-called “all inclusive” is poor, with bland food and watered-down drinks. Staff seem tired of apologising for things not working. Honestly, it’s more depressing than relaxing – avoid at all costs unless you like staying in a crumbling ruin.

And u have to ask for clean towels if you want one. The only amazing thing about this place was Beach. The staff was very nice as well. They only have two places to eat besides the snack shack by beach. But the pizza/italian place you need a reservation. And only one night a week they serve Italian food any other is pizza. Remember you need to reserved. Just be cautious it’s really dated. By 10 pm unless u go off property there’s nothing to do.

Bathroom door didn’t give privacy. No coffee or tea facilities in bedroom. Extra charge for cleaning the room. All common areas need a lick oif paint and some updating. Food was average. Not enough light in outside dining areas.
- Susan (8/5): - The pool was very nice and was kept at a pleasant temperature. The ocean was also very nice. The beach chairs and umbrellas could use an update. The all inclusive was very good, but there was an issue with the wi-fi in the rooms.
- Keryn (8/5): - The major attraction at this location is the beach, by far one of the best on the island. I was able to visit a couple others on the west coast and they were all stunning, but just walking out from your room to Jolly you're not going to missing out. The property is a bit dated, but well kept. Wish I read the email message from the the resort before not at the end of the stay. Room service is an additional USD10 and has to be requested. Only at the end of the third day we just caught the house cleaning lady and asked for clean towels. So just remember that you can access clean towels at anytime, not house cleaning. Now as it relates to food, I did see 3 restaurants on the website. However, only two of those are actually indoor with servers seating you. The third one is opposite the pool bar which has grilled food. It's more of an outdoor setting with tables and umbrellas between the grill hut and the bar, as well as open seating upstairs the bar. The pizza restaurant is by reservation only on the day of, please be sure to do so very early like 7.30a.m. It's fully booked out on weekends and only open like 3 days per week. By far the best dining experience with a different menu offered each night, Italian basics with great pizza options. Finally the daily restaurant where breakfast, lunch & dinner is served, wasn't five star meals. But for meeting needs of three square meals, it didn't fail with an omelette station, daily soup, and a different theme every day.

- Nancy T (6/5): - Just came back from a 6 night stay. I'll start with the good: the beach is absolutely GORGEOUS! Nothing but white sand and crystal clear blue water. The workers were all super friendly. Now for the bad: The property is very outdated. The room was small. The toilet barely flushed and the air conditioning stopped blowing cold air after day 3. There was mold in the bathroom shower. The TV in the room was small with terrible picture quality. The food was mediocre. The only food option besides the buffet was a pizza place which was not open every day. Food was better there but not by much. Drinks were ok but no top shelf liquor. We were there in the office season so the resort was pretty empty. There was no real entertainment in the evenings so we were in the room and ready for bed by 9pm every night. If you're into quiet days on the beach (and don't care much about food) this place is perfect. I can't really complain for the price I paid. It was good enough for a relaxing vacation.

Very limited choice in The Island buffet restaurant for dinner. Pizza restaurant was good but not open every night. The Long Bar was good with good entertainment each night. We had 2 single beds which were very uncomfortable. Air con worked but very noisy. Ceiling fan worked much better. The shower worked ok but bathrooms need renovating as does the whole property. Rooms are small with a decent size balcony. The property is stuck in the 80s and needs a lot of work. The beach area was lovely and the views are amazing. Staff were great too but wouldn’t stay here again. If you’re on a budget then you definitely get what you pay for.

The rooms were clean which only gets cleaned if you ask. . Pool and beach was great. The condition of the grounds were not good it need some renovation broken cement tiles. Our room was on 3rd floors, no elevators in the back of the hotel in a wooden area with very limited lights and was not comfortable walking back there along especially at night and walking up 3 flights of cement stairs everyday was a lot. Only entertainment was one or two persons singing at night. Over all it was a decent stay and they are doing renovations.

- Ledian (2/5): - I recently stayed at Jolly Beach Resort for a week, hoping for a relaxing Caribbean getaway, but it turned into a nightmare from start to finish. What was supposed to be a budget-friendly all-inclusive turned out to be anything but, thanks to a combination of poor service, hidden charges, and subpar facilities. I wouldn’t recommend this place to my worst enemy. Right from check-in, the staff were extremely rude and unhelpful. They barely acknowledged us, and any questions we had were met with curt responses or eye rolls. It set a terrible tone for the entire trip. To make matters worse, they hit you with hidden fees left and right – things like “resort fees” that weren’t mentioned in the booking, extra charges for Wi-Fi that was advertised as free, and even surprise costs for using certain beach amenities. It felt like a scam designed to nickel-and-dime guests at every turn. The rooms were another major letdown. They don’t get cleaned daily, and there’s no proper housekeeping service at all. We had to dispose of our own garbage, trekking it down to some distant bin ourselves because no one would come to empty the trash cans. The AC didn’t work properly either; it was either blasting freezing air sporadically or not at all, leaving the room stuffy and uncomfortable in the tropical heat. And don’t get me started on the towels – we had to beg the front desk multiple times for new shower towels, as they weren’t replaced automatically and the ones provided were often damp or worn

- Roshni (8/5): - Jolly Beach itself was absolutely stunning. The beach and views were the highlight of the entire trip; I’d return just for that alone. The resort itself is definitely on the older side. The room was very basic, with furniture made from concrete, and while the bathroom was functional, there was nothing luxurious about it but was very clean! There was no fridge or microwave in the room, and guests are discouraged from bringing food back to their rooms. That said, the staff; especially in the dining areas; were very warm and accommodating. What really stood out was how clean everything was. Despite the dated feel, the grounds were exceptionally well maintained. The pool is lovely with a swim up bar. The bar closes at 4:30pm though (even though it says 5pm). If you're going for the beach and a relaxing, no-frills experience, this is a great spot. Just set your expectations for the rooms accordingly.

- Marisa (8/5): - We stayed in a room on the beach level, and it was great— beautiful views and a relaxing atmosphere. The pool area was lovely, and the gardens were well maintained and stunning. Overall, it was a great experience. The only downside was the buffet food. Unfortunately, we found it inedible and had to stick to fresh fruits and meat cooked on the BBQ for dinner. Even the salad wasn’t appealing. That was really the only issue during our stay.

- Leelawattee (2/5): - Property is run down bathroom is very small and nasty. There is no fridge in the room no water to drink. We had get glasses of water to take to the room. Rooms are not cleaned until you leave. Staff is very rude. This resort is very expensive and not worth it. The air conditioning was leaking in the room and not forgetting the blackout. Also did not have a lot of people on the resort. I will not recommend this resort to anyone. It’s disgusting.
- Ahmad (2/5): - I reserved for July 11 to July 14, 2025, as a special babymoon trip with my pregnant wife. Unfortunately, we were forced to check out on the morning of July 12, less than 24 hours after arriving, due to the deplorable and unsanitary conditions at the resort, which pose serious health and safety concerns. The property is falsely advertised as "newly renovated," but nothing could be further from the truth. The entire facility is outdated, filthy, and in complete disrepair. The room we were given was extremely dirty. The shower had visible mold, the lamp shade had what appeared to be blood stains, and the bed was too small for two people to sleep comfortably. The towels smelled foul and unwashed, and there was only a single bed sheet provided for cover. All common areas were run-down and unhygienic. The coffee shop advertised was non-existent with only a single coffee machine with no options. None of the restaurants were open. The buffet was infested with bugs, and food appeared to be reheated leftovers from previous days, including burgers being recycled and served again. Plates and cups were visibly dirty. Unfortunately, the staff was rude, unhelpful, and completely lacking in hospitality. I had to shower with sandals on due to the stained and unsanitary shower floor. This was supposed to be a relaxing and memorable trip, especially important due to my wife's pregnancy, but instead it became a major source of stress and concern for her well-being.
- Hazel (6/5): - I loved that it wasn’t crowded and the politeness of the staff. There was a water leak on the first floor by the stairs the day we arrived and it was still leaking 8 days later when we left. My wife and I paid for a all inclusive package but when we arrived there was no refrigerator in the room and we were told we have to pay $10 US a day for housekeeping to clean the room. There was also dirt streaks in the toilet bowl coming from the tank on day 3 which was reported to the front desk. We were told someone would come to fix it but no one showed up, it was still there when we left on day 8. The resort is beautiful but more needs to be invested in its upkeep.

- Joann V (10/5): - It is a simple resort. Rooms are nothing fancy- clean and serve their purpose. Not a lot of food options like at other resorts I’ve stayed at but what they did have was delicious. Beach is gorgeous! Plenty of chairs. If you’re interested in excursions, Ms. Margaret at the tours desk was very helpful. We went during the off season so only certain tours were offered on certain days so if that’s what you’re into plan carefully. Generally speaking some staff were friendly than others. Overall, it was a great experience. Perfect for what I needed which was to rest, relax and enjoy the beach!

They don’t clean your room or change sheets until you stay at the resort 7 days or more.U have to ask for clean sheets and towels for your room,The resort charges $10.00 per day to change sheets .They have problems with flies to in the main area where they serve breakfast and dinner.Need more selection for food too.
- Aatifa (6/5): - For the price the property was good. Buffet breakfast with basic yet good breakfast options, creole lunch and dinner. Also grill options for lunch. Golf carts to carry you to and from your room. The beach front is amazing, the pool is also nice. Basic local rum and cocktails. The WiFi isn’t so good. The rooms need upgrading but as I said for the price you can survive.

- Albania (6/5): - The beach is excellent and the food had limited options but it was good. The only issue is the vendors on the strip may harass you a little especially to jet ski. The facilities and rooms are outdated and need a revamp but everything was functioning. The staff were pleasant and helpful.
- Randy (10/5): - My wife and I took a quick 4 of July trip to Jolly beach Antigua. I have to say we stumbled on a hidden gem. The beach at this hotel is probably the best beach on the island. The water is calm and the sand was clean and nice. The food at the hotel is also on point. Kudos to the chef. The staff here, especially the front desk folks are very professional. The hotel facility is in the midst of upgrading. Once completed this place will not be a hidden gem anymore. Thank you Jolly beach for the “food for the soul” Sun and fun.
