Ellen (8/5): - My one disappointment was the staffs inability to assist me with options during the scheduled rail strike. I was made aware that this is a way of life in Rome. However, just to put your hands up and say " can't help you because I am in a union too" There should. be something in place to address this issue for guest. It really made me fell like my comfort "really" was not that important. So why pay a higher rate for average assistance.

The room was tidied daily , the extras as in shower gel , dental brush ,etc were good for when we ran out . Breakfast was great a good choice of food. It was a quiet hotel . There were a few places nearby to eat so didn’t need to go back to the centre . And the roof top bar was great , could see right over the city and a great place to watch the sunset with a glass of vino

The breakfast was delicious and the staff was very friendly. The beds are very firm, and the carpets need to be updated in the rooms but we still loved our stay here.

Benjamin (8/5): Great Location, Clean Room, Mediocre Food - The staff a friendly, professional and ready to help. The hotel and our room was clean and very spacious. The 2 issues we had with our room was the bed and the shower. The bed is somewhat soft but doesn't provide a lot of support, we would still prefer it over some of the stiffer beds we've slept on in Italy. The shower, while long, is not very wide, which made the bathing process a bit difficult and uncomfortable at times. But there were plenty of toiletries made available, better than most other hotels we've stayed at in Italy. The restaurant was just OK. The food was a 6/10. Given the amount we paid, and the flavor/quality, it was definitely not worth it. It was the equivalent of what an average college student would make in their apartment. We would not recommend eating at the restaurant, but save that money and spend it at an actual restaurant.

Peter (6/5): - The property is nice and is in a pretty nice area close to Spanish Steps. It’s not far from a metro with close access to Roma Termini. The Rooftop is beautiful. Keeping above in mind, you will need to weigh the next items. The Restaurant food is sub-par for the beautiful Rooftop that it cooks for. The Rooftop is great on its own right, but the views from it are too far away to see any attractions. It was also vacant. If you want a drink in a quiet, beautiful setting, it attains that. The Breakfast buffet was ok and the staff is pleasant. Bring water with if staying more than one night.

The room was nice and clean, spacious enough for a family of three. I would recommend including the breakfast with your stay. It’s fast and easy, especially for families on the go ready to explore the city. There is also a lot of places to walk to near the hotel, and also a bus stop. If that’s not your preference, concierge will call you a cab on request. Overall very pleasant experience.

The room was very nice with a large bathroom, comfortable bed and plenty of storage. The cleaning staff were very good. The bell person was very helpful. The front desk was hit and miss with being helpful. Overall we really enjoyed our stay.

Andrew (10/5): Lovely stay but check-in could be better. - We had a lovely time at The Savoy hotel and really enjoyed the Roof Terrace at night where we could relax and have a drink. The breakfast was really nice and the staff there were very accommodating as we wanted a bigger table due to the numbers in our party and this wasn't an issue at all. In fact after the first morning there was a table for five set out for us, which was lovely. The location was really good and you could walk 10 minutes to get to the Trevi fountain and the Spanish steps. We never used public transport, we just walked everywhere. The Colleseum was roughly a 40 minute walk which took us much longer as there were many photo opportunities on the way. The only thing which was slightly disappointing regarding the Savoy was on arrival ( check in from 2pm ), we arrived at 3pm after travelling 11 hours from Sheffield England, the system had gone down and the staff couldn't check us in. We were told to leave the bags with the porter and come back in a while. This was a bit frustrating, not because the system had gone down ,things happen, but I believe it would have been nice for them to offer us a complimentary drink and a sit down until it was sorted instead of us having to go back out on the streets, tired and very hot to find somewhere. The Hotel did redeem itself a bit as that evening when we returned to the hotel after sightseeing there was a complimentary bottle of wine left in both rooms but no explanation as to why, we just presumed it was due to the check in

I am traveling as single my room 118 was large but on first floor in back long walk from front entrance no view but quiet with large open windows to internal courtyard clean but that space has mechanical equipment not for viewing good for fresh air. Comfortable bed and large vanity in bathroom for toiletries and make up bags. Hot water kettle and instant Nescafé in room for coffee. I would book here again.

Verified traveler (8/5): Ok, but not the best option - Not the best the location as all the key places are a cab ride away and there is a cab shortage. Alittle stressful when we had to be somewhere at a particular time to join a tour. I received a letter from the hotel to plan accordingly due to the shortage of cabs... The room was a bit depressing. Very small. We couldn't get the a/c to cool the room, so if you are traveling in summertime- keep that in mind. The buffet for breakfast wasnt too healthy. Our other room was above a wine bar facing the street. Not good.

Armando (2/5): - The property has an issue with a deranged woman that screams all night long outside the hotel. They can’t do anything about it. They call police but she returns everyday. The noise is unbearable and they lie stating that hotel has ac but they turn it off for the winter. We opened the window. And both got very sick . This has been my worst hotel in all of my travels. Please do your research before you book a hotel.

Leon (8/5): - The entrance to hotel was quite impressive. The negatives were, paper cups for tea and coffee in the room,we also think the decor a llittle dated. Our room was located at the front of the hotel, and found it a little noisy with traffic .
Danielle (10/5): - This hotel was amazing the staff were always obliging and so helpful and friendly. The rooms were grand and clean and spotless. I celebrated my birthday and they went out of there way to make my day special with a bottle of wine sent to my room. I would thoroughly recommend this hotel.
