A damage deposit of £50 is required on arrival. This will be collected by credit card. You should be reimbursed within 14 days of check-out. Your deposit will be refunded in full by credit card, subject to an inspection of the property.

- Tricia (7/5): Good situation and clean but some small issues. - Good location. Hotel room initially very clean and tidy. Room cleaned and dried out in bathroom, as requested on door hook notice. Great to have coffee pod machine and fridge. Slept well and very comfy. Unfortunately the shower water floods everywhere across ensuite room floor- regularly- water marks on walls and flooring. Didn't dry out- so wet cold feet as mat wasn't enough to absorb puddled water across bathroom. Where scaffolding was outside, the bay window was slightly open so let in dust and dirt onto windowsill- leaving a gritty shadow around and on items I had left there during the day.

Ein paar mehr Kleiderbügel wären gut, wenn man 1 Woche Gast ist. Der Kühlschrank im Zimmer konnte gut genutzt werden und war ein Plus. Das von mir mitgebuchte Frühstück war sehr gut, jedoch täglich die gleiche Auswahl. Kalte und warme Optionen. Ei, Würstel etc. jeden Tag gut. Schinken Salami sehr gut, Käse gut. Als Obst täglich: Melonenarten, Trauben, Bananen und Äpfel, aber alles schmeckte gut. Verschiedene Kaffee- und Teesorten. Sehr netter Frühstücksservice, vor allem die Dame am Frühstücksempfeng, der man die Zimmernummer nennt beim Eintritt in den Frühstücksraum. Anbindung an den öffentlichen Nahverkehr war sehr gut. --

- Patricia (8/5): A very pleasant stay - We were upgraded to an executive room on our arrival and given a welcome drink from the bar. The staff at breakfast were very happy and friendly, and the breakfast was excellent (loved the mushrooms!!) Not far from Queensway underground that took us straight to Liverpool St, to catch our train back to Norwich. On our arrival it was a bit noisy due to refurbishment.

- nyaradzo (6/5): Will be lovely after construction - The location is convenient and there are plenty of shops around. The rooms were clear and decorated to a high standard and the staff were friendly The room was smaller than expected and the bed is small, it was ok for one person but I don’t know how 2 people could share that bed. I was aware of the construction so it wasn’t a big deal for me but anyone else who wants to sleep after 9am would really struggle because of the noise. The closest car park also has a lot of construction and it took me 20 minutes to get out due to a lorry loading materials and the entrance is very narrow but that can’t be controlled by the hotel it’s just good to know in advance.

There was no noise despite the rennovation works. the outside is hard to see as there is currently scaffolding up and the check in process was a bit slow but not too bad as there was not a long q, but it could have been bad.

La propreté est irréprochable, la chambre était spacieuse et bien équipée. Une très bonne adresse à conserver. La literie n’était pas top, et le lit était trop petit pour deux meme pour deux femmes.
- Brenna (5/5): - Once I got into a room it was all wonderful except the horrible window covered in dirty plastic due to the exterior construction that was not disclosed. The first room I went into was in the middle of being cleaned. I then switched to another room and it reeked of what I can only describe as cheese.. it was coming from the bathroom. It was visually clean but the smell was unbearable. I asked another guest on the way down to the lobby if hers was the same and she said yes but it got better after a few days - not acceptable especially during a short stay. The staff was flexible but the ONE elevator that seemed not to work perfectly, especially for such a large property made it quite frustrating to keep going up and down in just to get a decent room. Once I got in a room it was well decorated and really nice aside from the crappy dirty plastic over the outside of the window due to external construction. While this was disclosed by signs at the property, there was no indication of this prior to booking.

- Eidah (1/5): - I arrived at the hotel and found three hotel employees watching a football match on TV. They seemed angry because their team was losing. I asked one of the employees, who he said was of Iranian origin, for help with my luggage, explaining that I had recently undergone several abdominal surgeries, the most recent being quite recent. The Iranian man shouted at me, "We don't carry luggage! We're not slaves!" I was quite surprised by his tone. When I showed him my passport and he realized I was from Kuwait, he shouted even louder, threw my passport at me, and said, "I won't accept you. I'll block you at all our hotels. I'm the manager, and I'll throw you out with your luggage!" I called the police, and they told me to wait. While I waited, a man dressed in security uniform arrived and said, "I'm with the police." I asked him if he was with the police, and he said yes, that he worked with the police. I discovered he was only pretending to be one; it turned out he was actually hotel security. The man claimed to be a police officer. He and the man who told me he was the hotel manager verbally abused me, using inappropriate and violent language, even though I hadn't done anything wrong. I simply asked him why he was mistreating me. He kept provoking me, saying, "I've blocked you, your reservation's over, I'll throw you out." I called the police and waited three hours. They arrived and helped me move my luggage to another hotel. While I was waiting, the staff—one of whom claimed to be a security guard and another who said he was the hotel manager—were harassing and verbally assaulting me. I urge the hotel management to open an investigation into this incident, and I ask Booking.com to help me get justice. My dignity has been violated, and I'm a mature woman with no issues with any other hotel. The man treated me with extreme racism, verbally abusing me and shouting for no apparent reason. Non

- Antoine (8/5): Bon rapport qualité prix et très bien placé - Très bien placé pour aller et venir sur le centre d'Oxford. Spacieux et fonctionnel. Bien équipé. Le charme d'un appartement typiquement anglais Mais un peu viellot: pourrait bénéficier d'un rafraichissement. Et pas mal de pub, restaurants et autres commerces à proximité. Très pratique pour le séjour! Globalement, bon rapport qualité prix sur Oxford! Bruyant: à cause de l'installation de l'Air Conditionné, on entend beaucoup le passage dans la rue. Dommage car les fenêtres sont en bon état... Et le chauffe eau est d'un autre temps: allumer et éteindre avant et après utilisation, mais surtout, extrêmement bruyant: chaque fois que vous utilisez l'eau chaude, ça fait un énorme bruit de pompe! Faudrait penser à le changer...

- _JSC_ (8/5): Perfectamente ubicado - Es la segunda vez que me alojo en este hotel y si he repetido es por algo :) Al llegar nos sorprendieron con un upgrade de habitación, ya que me alojaba con una amiga y pedí si podían ponernos en algun piso superior ya que mi amiga es claustrofóbica y las habitaciones dobles suelen estar en los pisos subterraneos. Nos pusieron en una triple de las recién reformadas y la verdad que genial! bonita, amplia, el lavabo es amplio (más que la triple sin reformar en la que me alojé hace unos años). El personal de recepción y limpieza fueron amables. A pesar de que el hotel se encuentra en obras, no fue una molestia ya que no se oía y no nos despertaron ningún dia con ruidos. El hotel está genial ubicado, a 2 calles de Queensway, donde hay 2 lineas de metro, restaurantes, tiendas...y al lado de Hyde Park. No hay nada malo a destacar.

- Ann-Louise (9/5): Nytt, fräscht och trevlig personal som dessutom uppgraderade vårt rum! - Trevlig personal! Fint, nyrenoverat, rent rum med espressomaskin. Närheten till både Hyde Park, city och tunnelbana. Något litet rum.

- Asiva (8/5): Otherwise pleasant stay - Perfect location for me. Clean and good staff There was only one lift under operation and very uncomfortable at times if you are in a hurry. The additional fees for early arrival can be waived off for returning customers.

- Giese (7/5): Ik had bij het boeken niet goed opgelet dat ik een doubleroom boekte zonder ramen. Onze kamer was op verdieping -2 in ee - Het hotel ligt direct aan Kensingston Park en vlakbij het metrostation Bayswater. Een perfecte locatie om vanuit hier Londen verder te ontdekken. Ze zijn het hotel momenteel aan het verbouwen. Wordt erg mooi, maar je hebt er wel wat last van. Gelukkig geen enorme bouw geluiden.
- Frank Brekke Otterbech (8/5): - Vi har brukt hotellet flere ganger og kommer gjerne igjen. Flott beliggenhet og meget hyggelig personale. De totalrenoverer nå ut 2026, så litt støv og støy må påregnes, men blir fint når det er ferdig.

- Philip (9/5): Good location, great staff, comfortable rooms. - The staff are always the highlight of my stays. They’re so friendly and helpful. The construction works, but that can’t be helped as repairs and upgrades are an essential part.
