• Miss (4/5): - I have so much to say since i stayed here for a long time so this is going to be long. First of all , please DO NOT be fooled with those many good reviews. The hotel is only good for one or two night's stay at most. The only good thing about this hotel is how nice the staff are. Especially the room service and cleaning team. I gotta say the front desk is not really that accommodating like most reviews said but they do try to be nice. For the most part, they almost never pick up the phone. I had to come down whenever i wanted something. I wanted a late checkout, but they could only allow 3 hours, so u check out at 4 or 5 max. If u stay one more hour, u gotta pay half a day l. Like seriously? I just wanted one more hour, but no. So thier standard is not like any other Radisson blue around the world that I stayed in. This hotel is the only one that wouldn't accommodate but its maybe part of policy? I dont know. I just didn't appreciate it. The room is tidy, the team is good at their job, it's also clean for how old the furniture is. The staff seem to be doing their best with the supplies they were provided, so its not the cleanest hotel, its just ok. The food was delicious, decent variety, only one restaurant, a buffet, the rest were closed for a while but they wont tell u that before booking ! They have the worst WiFix, it even went out for many hours on one of the days. The facilities are mixed and there is no female only area for anything which was weird. Wont ge back

• 983davee (6/5): It’s just ok. But it’s ok. - This hotel is middle of the road accommodation for people travelling on business. The room was fine, the restaurants were ok, the people on reception were nice enough. It’s quite far away from most events areas. Bizarrely, there is an under-utilised zen garden on the ground floor which I would recommend chilling out at when it’s quiet. It’s quite nice in the middle of determinedly “blah” settings. Anyways, I’ve seen a few glowing reviews on here, including a few describing the hotel as luxurious. Those people must have been staying at a different Radisson - there are at least seven within Riyadh and they are very hard to distinguish between, so beware when you get in a taxi. Lots of military guests in full uniform and business people travelling economically when I was here, which makes for a strange atmosphere at times.

Also the rooms were serviced quickly and in a timely manner. Breakfast was also exemplary in even including dishes from South Indian cuisines.

Its very dated staff are not very cheerful or helpful based on my experience from Check In to Resturant to Check Out. Hotel only has one restaurant as the other two are permanent closed ! Table are cleaned very slowly - not at all ! Food was quality was ok but drinks choice was very limited. I stopped on the 11 floor in general the hotel is clean but everything is very very dated - need a good refurbishment. The restaurant manager in the evening was very unhelpful- spent the time permanent looking at his phone when he was not serving customer ! Generally I stop in IHG hotel but there no availability for the nights I need locally. I have stoped in Radisson before and certainly this one does not meet the standard I have seen in Middle East or Europe ! I can equate to most of the reviews and share the same experience - wish I could agree with The 5 star ones they either stoped some where else or they stoped in a part of the hotel I did not see.

Unfortunately my check in experience was below average (it was late at night) with no politeness from the staff member checking me in and no information/orientation. The room is very old and tired, but a decent size. The air conditioning was very loud and the amenities in the room were sub par including a small TV with very limited choice.

They let us check in early and check out late - much appreciated! The only downside is the location in the ministry neighborhood, which is a far from Riyadh‘s main attractions. This disadvantage wil be offset once Riyadh‘s metro is finally operational.

Just be aware, I didn't get a taxi they were supposed to order for my travel to airport, so had to get uber instead. Thankfully I had 30 minutes to spare and wasn't in a hurry.

So I spent 300 US / night to have a room with stained carpet making me feel like in a prison. The reception is also dated making the full stay not pleasant - this hotel is just to sleep. I ended up here by mistake as I wanted to go in the Radisson in DQ and I’ll never put my feet again here
• monesha2016 (2/5): Worst experience , the hotel is really old and outdates. I felt claustrophobic cause of the metal screens on the window. - The hotel is really old and outdated. No natural sunlight in the room. I felt claustrophobic , there were these huge dirty metal screens on the window which obstructed any view outdoor. There was no electrical socket next to the bed ! I almost locked myself inside when the door lock was jammed. Struggled for five mins to open the lock. Airport pick up was arranged and all they did was put me in a normal prepaid taxi that the general public was using. And then they charged me 150 SAR for that trip which would have costed me half the amount If i took the prepaid taxi myself. Its a shame Radisson brand is attached to this hotel.
• Mohammad (8/5): Good - Overall was good but the bed not that cleaned. And the bathroom did not has towel.
• Jonathan (10/5): Great hotel for a few days business - A decent hotel with clean and fucntional rooms. Breakfast was a little basic and limited but maybe because it was Ramadan. Fantastic gym and great pool. Staff are very friendly and efficient.
• Joseph (4/5): A very overpriced, poor quality experience - Overall, pretty disappointing. They get marks for an early check-in...but otherwise, quite disappointing. Underneath the sofa and the bed in the room, were empty bottles - which shows they don't clean under the furniture. The food was absolutely awful - cheap, horrible processed fillings in the sandwiches, fries that needed the oil changing about a month ago. When I checked out, there was a guy in a hoody, who took my card and walked off - no thank you, no 'how was your stay'. I asked for helping booking a taxi and was told 'just Uber'. The Wifi throughout the hotel is rubbish too - it kept lagging, cutting out altogether and just generally, slow. For $350 a night (approx), this was rubbish. Second time I've used Radisson Blu and found their food offering showing a total lack of care. I definitely wouldn't recommend.
• Didrik (10/5): - The hotel is excellent. They have a nice swimming pool and Turkish sauna and Scandinavian Sauna as well as a gym. The sauna was the main plus point for me. The cons were that I was planning to get a free transit visa, but that was not available so I had to pay $130 in tourist visa for one night stay in Saudi Arabia, and there is no shuttle bus or public transportation from the airport to the hotel, which is in Riyadh. So you have to book a taxi adding about $30 to $45 each way.

• MOHAMED (4/5): - There was no hot water. After calling the front desk 5 times, engineering staff came and said he fixed for the two days ,I stayed I didn't have hot water. Staff are super nice to talk but you don't get any service.

• Nassim (2/5): disaster - Total disaster. I am starting by saying I am frequent traveler Middle East and Africa. This hotel is not in international standing, by far the worst I seen in the region in 8 years. Not sure how they classify 5 stars. Nothing to save from this hotel. Hereby my comments: Rooms: old and dirty. Old carpet. Service: - not answering on calls from the room. - you need to go down to reception to ask an extra towel, and only a single towel avalable in the room. - they found the way to charge my credit card 1000 SAR instead of blocking the amount on check in. On check out shall I mention that they want to give me back the amount as cash before travelling back as it is not possible for them to transfer back the amount to the credit card. - if you ask anything to reception it’s like you bothering them. I made the mistake to ask about information on any convenient store open nearby, nobody except security gard to help.- room service : don’t call them to order food they are busy watching football game

Gym very good. didn't bother using the parking underground as plenty of on street parking nearby

Hotel let’s itself down by only having the buffet restaurant or Japanese restaurants open otherwise it’s room service. Timings at the health centre can be awkward as female only times change and there is no weekly schedule easily visible.

• Branislav (6/5): My second stay story - I’ve ordered room service dinner twice during my stay and food quality was bellow my expectation. ‘Roasted beetroot’ salad was canned food actually and bread basket stale. Mushroom soup too salty and full of cooking cream. On a top of everything I’ve been wrongly charged in advance of my stay with greater amount which till today following for a refund.

• Albert (8/5): 2 night stay, business trip - A clean and well presented hotel, with welcoming and efficient front of house staff. Although I didn't have dinner in the restaurant, the breakfast was excellent. The location of the Hotel could be better if you have time to talk walk, previously I have stayed in the Al Olaya district which enables you to walk out to coffee shops, on saying that I chose this hotel for ease of transit to the Industrial area, which it is ideally suited to do. The room was clean, the WiFi was good, the AC worked well and was not too noisy. As a regular traveler to Riyadh for business I would stay here again.

I also asked for a tooth brush, the reception guy barely spoke English so didn’t understand me so for a good 5 minutes I was trying to explain what a toothbrush was until I asked for an English speaker and that person said okay it’s coming and it NEVER arrived. I was so done with them and just checked out and bought my own toothbrush. Ridiculous experience

• alexander (10/5): Thanks Radisson Blu, great stay! - At the time of my stay it looked like the whole city is undergoing major refit, there are roadworks everywhere, even on the road facing hotel but they were not heard and nights were quiet. The hotel is solid 5-star, haven't tried restaurant and gym but rooms are large, well cooled and well cleaned albeit cleaning of some details need to be improved like around light switches. Free wifi access is given at time of check in, mains adapter was also in the room. Free bottled water every day, breakfast is good standard international food, security guard at the hotel front during workday only. The hotel is in old town (city south) so if Your office is in the city northern part, then Uber ride is ubercheap.

• Ganindu (10/5): Good Hotel! - Very good hotel compare to other hotels I've stayed in Riyadh.. def stay in this hotel again. Location is not very much convenience and due to Metro construction work it is bit difficult. Only negative is airport taxi service is expensive!
• Aslam (10/5): Very helpful staff! - First, I was given a very generous late check out time Secondly, I left behind something in the room when I checked out. But the staff promptly helped me confirm by email that it had been located and that I could collect it any time from the 'Lost & Found' team at the hotel.
• Matthew (6/5): Good but overpriced food - my stay started with them trying to charge me for my stay as hotels.com were slow to pay them. The hotel is pretty good. staff are nice enough. The room is big, decent bathroom. The housekeeping was erratic, one day they didnt come to clean my room or replace the towels and water etc and it took 3 phone calls before somebody turned up. Some days they put one water, some days 2, sometimes 3 and on the occasion it took 3 calls they brought me 4. I needed a couple for work as i was nowhere near. shop. Some times i got a new towel, sometimes 2! The downsides to this hotel are that the food is too expensive for what it is. It was that bad in the Japanese restaurant that even though work were paying for food, i felt guilty eating. Eventually i ordered a teryaki which was disappointing. The wagyu burger was not worth the charge although it was ok, and the fish and chunky chips was a very small fish and french fries (aka normal chips with every other order). Saying that, the grilled asparagus was excellent and very much worth the price. Gym is very good but as all in this country are just a little too warm! The roads close by are being dug up for the new metro system (good luck with that, with the style of driving in the city i cannot see that ending well :) ) so getting around is a little awkward at time.

• Verified traveler (4/5): Not your typical Radisson-Blu - I have been to many Radisson-blu hotels around the world ( Bucharest, Dubai ect), and so I trusted the name when I booked my room in Riyadh. Unfortunately I was very disappointed with the quality of the rooms in this hotel. I booked through hotels.com and had to wait for over an hour in the lobby during checkout so that they could verify the payment was made throught hotels.com's website which is extremely inconvenient. I do not recommend this hotel to anyone.
