Νομίζω ότι εδώ κι έναν χρόνο περίπου που επισκεπτόμαστε το κατάλυμα δεν έχουμε βρει κάτι ικανό να μας κάνει να σχηματίσουμε κάποια αρνητική εικόνα.

• Хоменко (8/5): Квартира хорошая - Мы останавливались в этих апартаментах транзитом через Афины, и для нас важными факторами при выборе были разумная цена, удобное расположение недалеко от достопримечательностей и транспортной развязки, а также наличие ванны, а не душевой кабины. После двух суток в дороге ванна действительно помогла расслабиться и восстановиться. Хозяйка очень отзывчивая, отвечает быстро, с коммуникацией не было никаких проблем. Единственная сложность возникла с поиском самого входа. Возможно, из-за усталости или ошибки Google Maps найти нужную дверь оказалось непросто, адрес в навигаторе показывал совсем другое место, куда мы изначально и приехали. Думаю, если бы мы ехали на такси, нас бы довезли сразу куда нужно. От метро идти примерно 15 минут, не далеко, но с чемоданами это оказалось немного не удобно, особенно учитывая отсутствие тротуаров и удобных пешеходных дорожек. Если вы впервые в Афинах, обязательно обращайте внимание на отзывы, особенно те, где упоминают, что после 20:00 в этом районе лучше не гулять. Об этом советуют не зря. Входную дверь мы открывали по ссылке от хозяйки, для меня это было в новинку, но всё сработало отлично 😀. Холл тёмный, но лифт нашли. Сами апартаменты чистые, аккуратные, всё свежее и новое.Протекала ванна, видимо, из-за неправильной установки. Зато есть всё необходимое для отдыха: удобная большая кровать, кондиционер, фен. Кухонных принадлежностей нет, но для краткой остановки это не критично. В целом остались довольны: отличное соотношение цены и качества, доброжелательная хозяйка и комфортные условия для краткого отдыха после дороги. А теперь о не приятных впечатлениях.Апартаменты находятся в центральной части Афин, и это, конечно, удобно для прогулок по городу и посещения достопримечательностей .Но стоит отметить, что буквально за углом атмосфера резко меняется. Днём всё спокойно, никто косо не смотрел,но вечером мы чувствовали себя неуютно и даже опасались за безопасность. Однажды местные молодые люди у бара, обратились к нам по-английски, перегородили нам дорогу и в агрессивной форме посоветовали уйти в сторону Акрополя, заявив, что туристам здесь «не место». Это было пугающе. Во второй вечер мы увидели группу военных или спецназа, около десяти человек, стоящих на перекрёстке, будто в ожидании чего-то. На улице было тихо, но обстановка вызывала тревогу. Еще мы стали свидетелями драки, в которой участвовало около пятнадцати человек.

• Serenay (10/5): It was so comfortable and pleasant - I loved the host she is great and was so helpful with everything. If you wanna stay around I’ll recommend it. Room was so comfortable and also felt safe too. Of i ever stat at exarchia it will be my only choice !

• Ebersbach (9/5): Reibungsloser Urlaub mit sehr schönen Apartment. - Das Apartment war sehr sauber, es waren genug Handtücher bereitgestellt und ansonsten wirkte alles funktional. Der Kühlschrank musste erst eingestellt werden, es ist nachvollziehbar wieso man ihn bei Nichtbenutzung auf niedrigste Stufe stellt, aber ich hatte das leider erst bemerkt, nachdem mein Wasser einfach nicht kalt werden wollte. Leider habe ich kein Besteck gefunden, für den Fall, dass ich mit den vorhandenen Töpfen oder Pfannen kochen wollte, wäre das eher problematisch geworden.

• Dana (9/5): Nice stay in live neighbourhood with good drinks/food - The airconditioner works very well. It is very accessible and easy to enter. I requested an hour earlier checkin even though I just booked and they answered so fast and were so helpful. The neighbourhood can be a bit intimidating at night if you're a solo traveller.
• Bianca.neve (9/5): Superb - Excellent position, big apartment with super nice balcony and good bakery just 1 mt away An advice for those who are sensitive to noises: the bar in front of the apartment keeps loud music until 1 am circa, but the windows are soundproofed and with earplugs you’ll be just fine
• Jieun (9/5): Great! - Great location, 10 minutes from the metro station and close to the museum. Quite young neighborhood with cafes, bakeries, restaurants! Host is very kind and efficient to accept guests so the late arrival was not a problem. Could be noisy around the weekend nights due to some parties. I anyway use ear plugs all the time during trips, so had no problem but be prepared if you are sensitive to sound.
• Nadine (9/5): Great apartment in the heart of Exarchia - Nice apartment in Exarchia. Big room and bathroom. All clean and functioning, especially for Athens. Easy access to all amenities - bars, restaurants, easy to walk to Plaka and Monastiraki but also great access to taxis, Metro... The apartment and the floors especially for freezing cold.

• Maria (9/5): Superb - The location is amazing if you are looking to get to know the cultural centre of Athens, Exarcheia. Very quick and easy access to buses and underground. So many options in cafes, restaurants and bars for every type that stay open until really early in the morning. The room could have additional bed duvets and blankets just in case it gets cold.

• Tom (3/5): Poor - The bed's were quite comfortable and the location wasn't too far from the major sites. There are no staff at the hotel with no reception. There is no cleaning service so the rooms weren't cleaned during our three night stay. The hotel was a little run down and the cleanliness was not great. The door code that I was sent to access the hotel did not work. The area felt relatively safe, but there is a strong anti tourism sentiment in some of the graffiti and posters around the area. When we arrived a group of people were putting up anti tourism posters directly outside of the hotel. This may be an issue for some people.

Hosts are hospitable and approachable. - Kitchen facilities, ensuite toilet & bath, reliable lifts, fast reliable wifi, balcony, air-conditioning and privacy during our entire stay. Neighborhood has a vibrant nightlife if you are looking for a quiet place.

• Nanda (7/5): Very friendly host, good price/quality ratio - The neighbourhood is apparently known for not being very safe. We didn't feel unsafe at all. You do notice police on guard every here and there, but other than that only the cosy restaurants, eclectic vibes and ice cream parlor (Makalu, would recommend 5/5!) stood out - in a positive way. Zoe is a very friendly host. She is available via WhatsApp and helped us with some questions. She also suggested to bring clean towels, although that was not included in our stay. Based on the points above combined with the very reasonable pricing, I would recommend this accommodation. Nearest metro station is a 10 minute walk away, be aware that walking in Athens can be quite tiresome because of the incline and bad pavements. On a side note: would recommend to purchase a public transport ticket that's available for 5 days. So much cheaper than thinking you'll only use the metro once and then end up buying new tickets everyday. 🙈 Some things to be aware of: the bed and the pillows weren't the most comfortable (although preferences can differ of course). And the apartments Zoe rents out are quite noisy, if you are unlucky to have loud neighbours as we did. If you are a light/sensitive sleeper, this place might not be for you.

• Roy (9/5): A great experience for a first - time visitor to Athens. - The unit is spacious and clean. Management is quite responsive to attend to minor repairs in the apartment. Security is good. Location is perfect for wining and dining. Many well known restaurants around. Bakeries, a pharmacy and small sundry shops are within walking distance. A very interesting neighbourhood and good value for money. Not dislike .. but just some observations. would suggest a curtain shower in the bathroom and is it possible to install a bidet in the bathroom?

• Evangelos (7/5): Quite good stay - Both the room and the bathroom were very spacious and the location was pretty much OK, walking distance to what is considered the very centre of Athens. The area is very live with a lot of bars and cafeterias, not very much of my style, but they give to the location a nice vibe. The personnel when we asked new towels were quick in response. The check-in and check-out were easy as well. The room was quiet. Some details that make the place look like a semi-finished project, for example, there was no semi-transparent curtain, only the opaque one, there was bedside table only on one side of the double bed, no curtain in the bathtub, so the water was falling on the floor and no special towel for the floor was given to absorb the water. The fridge if you remove the electricity-block card stops to work (we removed the card for safety reasons when we were absent). The remote control didn't work with the TV, but ok we didn't need TV for our stay, otherwise we would inform the personnel and I guess they would give us a working one. Also, if you have a car, the parking close to the hotel will be difficult, because the neighbourhood has a lot of people who come and go because of the numerous cafeterias and bars around.
• Jessica (7/5): Affordable apartment that has the essentials, but could be improved - The hostess of the apartment was really friendly, she made sure the WiFi was fixed within 24h and we got a free breakfast. She also allowed us to extend the checkout time so we could leave our luggage there until we had to go to the airport. The bathroom is also very nicely redone recently. If you don't mind walking, the city center can be reached in about 25 minutes, I believe there is public transport too, but we never used it. We think the appartment could be greatly improved by replacing the couch (so many stains that we did not want to sit on it), better pillows and a matrass that is less hard.

• Ugnė (2/5): Very poor - location -terribly dirty, many hairs everywhere -lack of equipment - only one chair for a 3-4ppl room -never washed duvets, more like blankets -property was not ready by the time checkin has started, and when we came they were still cleaning , so we entered in wet floor that made room floor even more dirty (was full of hair anyways) - no socket in a kitchenette -no light in a hallway, entrance only small investment in a room would make a big difference… some chairs, normal duvet, socket at for a kettle in kitchen, maybe a bathmat, washed bed garments, and proper cleaning
