- Caroline (9/5): Loved it, fab hotel and stay! - Fabulous. Lovely stay at this hotel. Great location for touristing - walking distance of the stars and many other areas of interest. A couple of shops/ gas stations nearby for gas and snacks. Nice comfy room. Loved the theme of the hotel. Friendly staff. Great little pool area. The on site diner - great food but didn’t appreciate trying to be pushed to 22% tipping / spotted the server changing the tip amount so changed it back. She was friendly but come on it was one round of pancakes. Diner not run by hotel but guests should be aware.

Цены нормальные и меню дружелюбное. С виду хороший чистый бассейн. Если не привык к подобным отелям, то долго ищешь пульт от кондиционера. Но для США подобные кондиционеры норма, нужно открыть крышечку на самом кондее и включить его)

There was nowhere to refill water in our section of the hotel had to go past reception and up in the elevator.
- Patrick (9/5): Good value stay for location. - The location is exceptional for access to the walk of the stars and Capitol records. The hotel operates a valet service only for car parking during your stay. It costs 38 dollars at the desk for the nights parking and a 10 dollar tip for the valet agent when retrieving you car. There is a swimming pool for the guests, which is a nice touch if you are staying with kids. We had the breakfast in the hotel diner, of which the food was acceptable by and large. I didn't like the fact we were charged a 20% supplement fee because we were a group of 3 children and 4 adults. I am told this is standard practice, but it is unfair on families with kids to have to pay extra when families are classified as groups.

Der Pool war super, Waschmaschine und Getränkeautomat vorhanden. Kaffee auf dem Zimmer, Wasserspender etc. Gerne wieder! Alles super!

- Marina Arianna (5/5): - The interior design is really cute. The cleaning is good. Room cleaning is only provided upon request, and the front desk staff seemed annoyed every time we asked. Our room was extremely noisy because it faced a main road, and we could only sleep with earplugs. The coffee machine was defective and leaking water, and the laundry area was a mess with dirty towels all over the floor. The worst part, however, was the incredibly rude and unfriendly reception staff, especially one Hispanic woman with glasses. They ignored guests, avoided greeting people, and acted irritated whenever we asked a question. Very disappointing experience... never again.

Still, I felt safe in the hotel. Downtown is the worst, which is why this hotel is a good option.

- Jean-François (10/5): Hôtel très original et très propre - Notre chambre était magnifiquement décorée et d'une propreté irréprochable. La thématique de l'hôtel est vraiment très chouette et de circonstance. Les enfants ont aussi adoré la piscine chauffée. Nous avions choisi l'emplacement pour être proche d'Universal Studios (à 5 minutes en voiture), de l'observatoire Griffith et du Walk of Fame. Nous nous sommes également rendus à Beverly Hills (30 minutes en voiture également). Le dîner attaché au restaurant (pratique donc...) sert de très bons burgers et le personnel est incroyablement sympathique. Le parking est un peu cher (77$ pour deux nuits) mais on n'a pas hésité car il vaut mieux que la voiture soit en sécurité à Los Angeles. Pour ce prix, vous avez malgré tout un valet.

Camera spaziosa con doccia super, buona pulizia, letti grandi e comodi. Piacevole anche le decorazioni e l'arredamento della struttura e della camere, improntato sul cinema. Non male nemmeno la piscina. Consigliato in zona Hollywood. Parcheggio con valet non economico anche se a Los Angeles i prezzi sono questi.
- Lynn (9/5): It was really fun and comfortable - Location was great and I appreciated the diner next door! The room was quite large but still cosy and quiet. The air conditioning was noisy but I’m hard of hearing so I could still sleep with it on ‘auto’ (thermostat controlled). The valet service was not suitable to my vehicle but I was happy to park it myself and the valet was always very amiable and helpful. Of course, the decor was a real bonus with the stairway and hallways packed with photos and memorabilia of movie stars! There was not really anything to complain about during my short stay and I would go there again if the opportunity came up.
