• SONIA (7/5): Perfect overnight stay - clean, comfortable, quiet - excellent value. - The location is excellent - a genuine 2-3 minute walk to Swiss Cottage tube..and the Jubilee line is usually excellent. The hotel is a little bit "tired" for sure..old-fashioned, if you like. However, the welcome has always been warm and efficient...and I was thoughtfully given a little upgrade as my 'booked' room was on the top floor and the lift had a problem when I arrived. The room (on the lower ground floor) was clean (I always check!!) and comfortable for a one-night work stay. It was good temperature in the room, the bed and pillow were comfortable and it was quiet. The shower worked perfectly and the towels were fluffy! There was also a hairdryer. I will go back. As far as I could see, there were only two plug sockets in the room, at floor level. I had two items to charge, so I needed to unplug the kettle for a while....but this is not exactly a great hardship! I didn't have breakfast this time, but I do remember that if the breakfast room is busy, the service is definitely under pressure! If you need to be out for a certain time, get there early.

Le personnel manque de politesse.Nous n'avons pas eu ni de bonjour, ni d'au revoir !!! Ascenceur en panne,nous avons dû monter et descendre 3 étages à pieds tous les jours!!!
• Alexandra (8/5): Good value option with convenient access to transport - Triple room was a good size with plenty of space and good storage for luggage. Minor issues (broken shower) resolved by the time we returned home from a day out. Really convenient location for the tube and onward travel to other parts of the city, quiet at nighttime. Lift was broken, and we were put on the 4th floor. Floorboards very creaky - not an issue for us but not sure how our downstairs neighbours would have felt!

• Lauri (8/5): - We love this place and have stayed here many times. It is a little older and could use some upgrades to minor things like wallpaper and carpets. But it is clean and a great value for London. The breakfast seems to have changed a little over the years. I don’t think it’s as good as it used to be, but it’s still a decent breakfast.

• Viviana (6/5): Hermosa casa victoriana con pésimo servicio - La ubicación y el estilo Pedimos habitación accesible con ascensor o en PB, la habitación estaba en un primer pio y el ascensor no funcionaba . Los taxis que puede solicitar el hotel son solo con pago en efectivo ! No nos hicieron la habitación en toda la estadía aún cuando dejamos el cartel que estaba para ello solicitando la limpieza y cuando reclamamos nos dijeron que había un cartel que decía que debíamos pedir en la recepción el servicio . Pésimo !

• Michael (8/5): Great location outside Central London - Lovely quiet location very close to underground station. The hotel is formed from 3 or 4 large old houses and has a certain old fashioned charm. Breakfast room was cramped and struggled to cater for the number of guests at peak times. When we went for a late breakfast they had run out of some items.

• Manfred13 (7/5): Ein empfehlenwertes, zweckmäßiges Hotel für ein Wochenende in verkehrsgünstiger Lage - Die verkehrsgünstige Lage des Hotels, nur wenige Minuten von der U-Bahnstation entfernt. Der wunsch nach moderner ausgestatteten Zimmern wurde erfüllt. Für meine Gruppe von 7 Personen wurde auch im Restaurant ( Frühstücksraum) ein Tisch reserviert. Das Personal dort war sehr freundlich und aufmerksam. Der Aufzug war noch defekt. Die sanitären Einrichtungen machen keinen guten Eindruck. Die Orientierung von der Reception zum Zimmer ist eine Herausforderung. Das Restaurantangebot am Ort ist überschaubar. ( Nur ein Pub )

• Serena (7/5): Good value for money but inconsistent experience and poor noise insulation - The location is great and good value for money The big challenge with this hotel is inconsistency of experience. I stay here often because the location works well for me and it’s good value for money. However, the noise from neighbors can be quite disturbing. So, getting a good night sleep is not guaranteed

Key door card very temperamental difficult to get it to register to unlock door had to get assistance twice

Une attention accrue aux détails dans les équipements (porte-manteaux, porte-serviettes) et au renouvellement des éléments utilisés (tasses) améliorerait l’expérience.

Hotel tranquillo, confortevole, personale gentile che ha tenuto conto delle esigenze espresse. Sala della colazione a -1 un po' difficile da raggiungere per chi ha problemi motori.

• Anthony (6/5): - This is an excellent location if you are visiting the Hampstead Theatre, Camden or Regent's Park. It also has good transport links into central London and Euston stn. (Best to use overground West Hampstead). There are a number of good restaurants within easy walking distance. The room was a good size and our room had a nice baywindow letting in plenty of light. The bathroom was small. But functional and the shower had decent water pressure. The main problem i experienced was the sound coming from the TV in the next room. The wall was paper thin, which is unusual for a period property. The building needs some money spent on it as it is falling into disrepair. The outside looks tired and the interior is starting to look shabby. The lift was out of action during our stay. The room furniture was looking a bit tired.

• Mil (8/5): Far enough from downtown to feel the fresh air; closed enough to be in town in 15/20 min cycling. - The breakfast was nice; the location is convenient: metro is closed by but personally I was cycling. Room was nice. Neighboughood is cosy and nice. there is a big coffee area next to the theater but I haven't been. Not much.

• Barry (4/5): - The location My main issue was that it was advertised on Booking.com that it had parking, which it did not. We ended up having to pay an extra £40 for parking at another nearby hotel. The building and furniture were run down. Every time you walked on the floor, it creaked. We had 3 people staying in our room and the nice when we were all moving around was a lot to handle.
