New Interactive Kids' Pool and Kids' Club - Unmatched Fun and Safety: We recognize the importance of catering to families and providing engaging experiences for children of all ages. Hence, we are thrilled to introduce a state-of-the-art interactive kids' pool and kids' club that will be a highlight for families visiting our resort. The new interactive kids' pool will feature exciting water play elements, age-appropriate water slides, and innovative water features that will keep the young ones entertained for hours. Moreover, our kids' club will be a vibrant and safe space where children can participate in various activities, make new friends, and create cherished memories during their stay. This new area for kids will be located on the Lagoon side, and will not affect the stay of our mutual clients during the construction.Guests under the age of 18 can only check in with a parent or official guardian.

JWillis24 (10/5): Another great vacation at the Wyndham May 2026 - Another great vacation at the Wyndham. We’ve been coming here since 1994, and we’ve been vacation club members for over 20 years. The staff is outstanding- Orlando and Elvia and Martin at the lobby bar, Gerardo at the pool bar, Carlos at La Paloma, Gilberto and Oliver at La Vista, Victor at Pina Colada, Enrique at DaVincis. Our favorite meals at DaVincis were chicken Parmesan, pasta carbonara (we added grilled shrimp) and lasagna. Crème brûlée and chocolate fondant for dessert. Our favorite meals at LaVista were the ribs and the beef steak (like a filet). Wonderful salad bar. Creamed spinach, mashed sweet potatoes also delicious. Didn’t care for the t-bone or the sirloin, they were a little tough. Went to Mexican buffet dinner at LaPaloma, and everything was delicious. They have a wonderful breakfast buffet, too. For the vacation club - Leo is fantastic, great service all week. For the vacation club finance people- met with them to get an update on the changes with the vacation club. Chris was wonderful. We did however have a bad experience with Brandon, who ended our meeting with rude and unprofessional behavior. Never had a problem with them until our meeting with Brandon.

The entire resort staff was very friendly, welcoming, and helpful throughout the trip. The front desk staff especially made everything smooth and easy from the beginning. A huge shoutout to the entertainment staff — Wisky, Damián, Alicia, DJ Skinny, and Gabriel. They honestly made the trip so much more fun. All the activities they organized were really entertaining, and I definitely recommend participating because it makes the experience way better and helps you meet people too. Everyone there was super chill and easy to talk to, which made the whole atmosphere feel really fun and comfortable. Manilo was also extremely helpful with booking our excursions and was very kind the whole time. Definitely make sure to book excursions if you stay here because it adds a lot to the trip. The staff at La Paloma were amazing as well, and the service throughout the resort was consistently great. Overall, I had an amazing trip, made a lot of great memories, and would definitely recommend this resort to anyone visiting Cancun.

The staff immediately welcomed us like family. We were met by Nicolas who greets us with a smile. Roberto and Carlos Aguilar are so friendly and always hustle. Roberto helped make a friend’s birthday very special. We also love Oliver at the pool bar. He is kind and caring. The staff is exceptional. The food was very good. We dined at every restaurant during our visit. Most of our days were spent by the beach but we did enjoy water aerobics with Jacko. Mister Danny does a nice job coordinating activities for the day. We went to the show each night too. The rooms were immaculate and had everything we needed. My friends are already asking about the next trip. We are hoping to return soon to make more memories!

The rooms were clean, there's used to be a but of foul smell in the bathroom, rest the room was tidy and the view was as promised. The food was okay for a day or two, but then eating exactly the same options every day during the stay was quite discouraging. The range of food was good no complaints there, it's just the variation should've been more considering lot of people stay for a week or so. Staff was great, from my late checkin at around 11 in the night to checkout, every staff member I met, they have been super great. No complaints there

We keep going back for the exceptional service, accommodations and the best staff you will find anywhere. Our favorite restaurant is DaVinci and our favorite waiter there is Ivan. He goes above and beyond every moment we are in the restaurant. Our second favorite place is LaVista. The food there is not as good as DaVinci but is totally worth going. We do not like the Pina except for lunch. We love the sushi bar and it is always exceptional. The morning breakfast buffet cannot be beat with all the selections. Our favorite waiter there is Manases. He is absolutely one of my all time favorites. I did visit the spa and had a wonderful experience as well. We highly recommend going to this resort but we do think it is time to have a third location for dinner that is a sit down with exceptional food that is not Pina. The buffet nightly is good, but we prefer a true sit down. We will be going back to celebrate our anniversary again in a year so we are definitely happy we chose the Wyndham Grand.

rashelley180 (8/5): Good could be better - We arrived at the resort, it’s beautiful, they set you down and go over check in and their app. The first night of entertainment was lacking compared to the resorts we have stayed at previously, 2nd night of entertainment the Jersey Boys held in the lounge would have been fine, but lack of seating over crowding made it impossible, to really enjoy so we ended up going back to our room for the night, 3rd night of entertainment was excellent the tribute to Micheal Jackson, but with it not being a real stage it was hard for entire audience to see, and there were a few drunken crowd in the back that were loud and obnoxious that kept making it difficult to hear. Our room is beautiful and for the review about having to hold the flush down it’s because they are eco friendly toilets. There is nothing wrong with them. The food is good, make sure you make reservations for dinner at the restaurants, the choices on the buffets are limited because it’s not a massive buffet like other resorts. The beach is lovely and they offer chairs it would be better if people had to use towel cards so they would have to turn towels in or be charged a fee, and wouldn’t be holding chairs on the beach all day.. frustrating.. make sure you get yours early.. They will try to sale you a time share.. we told them no.. we travel all over so we weren’t constantly harassed but we were asked a few times.. Staff are lovely and will do what they can for you.. I will update my review the longer we stay we still haven’t made up our mind if we would come back or not ..

Andrea (1/5): The food was disgusting. I lived off of bananas and croissants. - nothing!!! ALL of the open/close times under restaurant info are incorrect! There’s even an additional charge for room service! Language barriers are very difficult, the english is not good that’s if they speak it at all. The pools closed at 8 PM, but the pool/beach bars and restaurants close at 5… again incorrectly advertised. The reservation app was down for two days, so we were unable to make any reservations, which left us limited to the gross buffet! We didn’t have Internet for a day and a half, and once we asked about it, only then we were told us they changed the password! They are extremely short staff even though they have acknowledged this is one of the busiest weeks. So food/bar wait times are ridiculously long! They’ve had the same entertainment every night in the lobby! Every time we talk to a different staff member, we get different information!

The grounds are meticulously clean at all times. One tip there are plenty of pool towels but get down there around 7:45 to reserve a chair or two. Lots of people reserve the chairs early in the morning and never come back for them. The problem is they never take their stuff off the chairs so it leaves a shortage at the pool and beach.

The options of the different bookable restaurants in the evening is really good, but also the general buffet food is great too. The lunch options of fresh sushi, pool snacks or fresh Mexican food make it very unique. There’s even a burger stand at the front of the hotel which opens at 23:00 The options of where to spend your day make this hotel great. There are numerous pool areas with livelier or more relaxed vibes, the private beach or the swim up hot tub. There were plenty of sun beds, and there was no crazy rush to claim one early in the mornings. The rooms were clean, view of the sea was beautiful, the showers were great, and the tv had plenty of channels. The hotel has 2 convenience stores right outside for any other needs. But, the most the important thing, and our favourite thing about this hotel is the staff. There are so many staff members, and they all work so, so hard which really made our stay feel special. There were a couple of catering staff which I cannot remember the name of, but they were so attentive and friendly. Main hotel bar - Orlando and Martin became great friends of ours. Such friendly, amazing people. This hotel is extremely lucky to have these guys working for them. From the moment we arrived they made an effort to know our names, and remembered them all holiday. We enjoyed our evenings sitting at the bar talking with them. Entertainment staff - Mr Whiskey, Jack and Luiz. These guys were so full of energy, super-friendly and great at their jobs, but they were also very personal, friendly and open which made spending time around the pool during the days feel very homely! Again, the hotel is so lucky to have these guys working for them. Sushi bar - Miguel and Carlos worked every day, non stop, for our entire stay. Always accommodating and always friendly. Marcia in the spa became a really friendly face around the hotel, who always stopped to talk and made an effort to know us personally, even though we didn’t actually use the spa. Elvia was the waitress around the pool in the day times, by herself, for 2000 people! She worked every day, non stop! The hotel was Amazing, but that staff were what made this place somewhere we will come back to. There are also so many staff members that we had positive experiences with, but the ones above are who we made a personal connection with!

Amenities were good and restaurant food was good. Room service food was not good. Noise issues from resort event late at night with loud music so if you are on a lower floor beware. Marketing gimmick immediately upon arrival before checkin. Dont waste your time with the member meeting. Spa was booked days in advance. Beach is beautiful. Staff very nice.

Orlando and Martin behind the bar were so funny, and so attentive, we really enjoyed spending our evenings in the bar, speaking to them. Elvia was really great around the pool making sure we had drinks. Miguel and Carlos were great at the sushi bar, and the food was great. The entertainment team - Whiskey, Louis and Jack were fantastic, putting on different activities for everyone. All the staff were great, but just to name a few. We will definitely try and come back here. The facilities were great and our hotel room was lovely, looking out over the sea.
Gorrell (8/5): Excellent Service - The first resort that we’ve visited that we didn’t have to set an alarm to wake up early to find a lounger at the pool. Service at this hotel is excellent. Every staff member is very willing to help and is very friendly. (Except hostess in da Vinci restaurant) The hotel was very clean. The location was great and the water and beach were gorgeous. The pools are very cold. Food was ok. Our group of 6 did not like the buffet very much and nobody liked La Vista, the steakhouse. We liked the lunch menu in particular at the Mexican restaurant and the poolside options. The entertainment was lacking. Very odd to have any entertainment in a room in the basement. No outdoor seating area for the evenings. The lobby bar area had limited seating and could get very warm. There was a good duo in there nightly. There was nothing done extra for New Years in the restaurants. I asked at the front desk and they said there was a special menu, but we didn’t see it. The party was great and they did a great job. We did not like that our waiter asked us each individually for a tip at the end of the night. We had been tipping throughout the evening. Thankfully, we were never approached about attending a timeshare presentation.
